Abstract

Relativsatz or German relative clause is a special subordinate clause because of its structure, which often makes it difficult for students to understand, use and translate. The aim of this study is to describe the translation of Relativsätze or Relativpronomen in the fairy tale Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten by German Department students at the Faculty of Letters of Malang State University. The descriptive qualitative method was used. The data are Relativsätze and their translation in the data sources, the source text and the target text. The data were collected using documentation techniques and analysed interactively using Miles and Huberman's method. The results show that there are 9 Relativsätze with 5 Relativpronomen in the fairy tale, namely welcher, der, die, wo and was. In general, the relative clauses were translated by changing them to Kalimat Relatif (Indonesian relative clauses) with different Pronomina Relatif (Indonesian relative pronouns) and to non relative clauses.

Abstract

Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa (ODGJ) merupakan kelompok rentan yang membutuhkan dukungan rehabilitasi sosial secara menyeluruh. Di Indonesia, akses terhadap layanan tersebut masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, mulai dari keterbatasan sumber daya hingga stigma sosial yang kuat di masyarakat. Metode literature review dengan panduan PRISMA dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Artikel diperoleh dari Pubmed dan Google Scholar. Selanjutnya dilakukan dengan kata kunci “rehabilitasi sosial”, “ODGJ”, “kualitas pelayanan”; “Kesehatan masyarakat”, “kesehatan mental”. screening judul serta abstrak didapatkan 25 artikel untuk direview. Hasil Menunjukan pelayanan rehabilitasi yang efektif ditandai oleh pendekatan holistik dan individualisasi, keterlibatan lintas sektor, serta evaluasi dan umpan balik yang berkelanjutan. Tantangan utama meliputi keterbatasan dana, minimnya tenaga profesional, serta stigma sosial sebagai strategi rehabilitasi bertahap yang mencakup intake, asesmen, pelatihan keterampilan, evaluasi, dan resosialisasi. Studi literature ini dapat menjadi dasar dalam pelayanan rehabilitasi sosial bagi ODGJ yang harus dilakukan secara komprehensif dan bermartabat dengan melibatkan pendekatan multidisipliner, dukungan kebijakan, serta partisipasi aktif keluarga dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study was conducted to explore and describe the clarity, the naturalness, the emotional expressions and the styles used in the translation of Hansel and Gretel fairytale. The data were collected through document analysis and analysed by using three main steps, namely data reduction, data display, and data conclusion and verification. The results showed that (1) there are many forms which are not clear and not easy to understand; (2) there are many forms which are correct grammatically but not natural; (3) emotion is expressed through words, phrases and sentences which describe anger, fear, sadness, joy and calmness; and (4) there are five styles used by the translator: simile, hyperbol, assonace, repetition and personification.

Abstract

This article reports on a research aimed at improving the students’ grammatical-lexical competence using learning model circuit training. The subjects were the students of the German Department who took part in the lecture Struktur und Wortschatz 1 Off AA in 2009. The results show that the process consists of four main phases: motivation, going around, training, and presenting; and the actions had the effects: all students were totally active and75 % of the students could present the learning materials correctly, the average point at the end of the second cycle (70,58) can be regarded as successful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin membahas tentang strategi pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa sebagai bagian dari materi pendidikan agama Islam aqidah akhlak merupakan materi yang fundamental juga urgen karena di dalamnya menjelaskan dan mengkaji nilai-nilai keimanan dan akhlak. Nilai-nilai keimanan dan akhlak merupakan nilai-nilai asasi yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang muslim agar dalam kehidupannya sejalan dengan nilai-nilai luhur agama dan norma yang ada. Pola penyusunan dan desain pembelajaran aqidah akhlak hendaknya dibuat sebaik mungkin, adalah di samping agar proses pembelajaran berjalan efektif dan efisien, juga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Sejumlah strategi yang bisa dikembangkan untuk pembelajaran akidah akhlak yaitu diantaranya: interactive lecturing (ceramah interaktif), small group discusion (diskusi kelompok kecil), actice debate (debat aktif), information search (mencari informasi), synergetic teaching (pengajaran bersinergi), peer teaching (pengajaran sesama teman), the fomer of two (menggabungkan dua kekuatan), Active Knowledge Sharing, Active Self Assessment (penilaian diri secara aktif), dan everyone is a teacher here (setiap orang adalah guru di sini).

Abstract

This study examines transformational leadership's role in improving educational quality at SMK Ma'arif NU 02 Kemiri, focusing on pedagogical quality and teacher professionalism. Vocational schools must respond to dynamic workplace changes while maintaining educational quality and character development, making transformational leadership, emphasizing inspiration, motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration—a strategic approach. Using qualitative literature review methodology, this research analyzed previous empirical studies and theoretical frameworks through systematic review and thematic analysis of scholarly articles on transformational leadership in vocational education contexts. Findings reveal transformational leadership significantly impacts three areas: (1) pedagogical quality improvement through innovative teaching methods and technology integration; (2) teacher professionalism enhancement via increased creativity, critical thinking, and learning design autonomy; and (3) collaborative work culture strengthening through improved communication and collective decision-making. Pedagogical quality emerges as the most significantly impacted indicator, manifested through teachers' capacity to develop adaptive strategies, implement student-centered pedagogies, and align vocational competencies with industry demands. Despite challenges including resistance to change and limited resources, transformational leadership effectively fosters sustainable school development, particularly in faith-based institutions integrating religious values with professional competencies, ultimately influencing institutional capacity and graduate employability.

Abstract

Antibiotics are one of the drugs used to treat disease problems caused by bacterial infections. Because they are used to treat bacterial infections, antibiotics should not be used without guidance from a doctor. As a result of inappropriate use, it will impact the emergence of antibiotic resistance. This research aims to determine the knowledge and attitudes of second-semester students regarding practice of obtaining antibiotics to and use of antibiotics at Faculty of Public Health of Ahmad Dahlan University (FKM UAD). This research is an analytical observational study conducted with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was UAD FKM students in their second semester, from two different study programs. The number of respondents in this study was 127, obtained using accidental sampling. The instrument used in this research is an electronic questionnaire, which will be analyzed using chi-square analysis with a p-value 0.005. Student knowledge is in the low category (61.4%), and student attitudes are also negative (59.1%). Meanwhile, the chi-square test results show that knowledge (p-value: 0.025; PR: 2.5; 95% CI: 1.179-5.093) and attitude (p-value: 0.037; PR: 2.3; 95% CI: 1.112-4.713) have a relationship to practice of obtaining antibiotics in second-semester students at FKM UAD. Students' knowledge and attitudes are significantly related to the behaviour and practices regarding antibiotic use among FKM UAD students. It is hoped that related parties can create educational programs for students on the use of antibiotics and the importance of obtaining the right antibiotics.

Abstract

The city of Semarang is one of the coastal areas in Indonesia that is prone to flooding. Flood events that often occur in the Semarang City area can be triggered by high rainfall. Variations in rainfall and sea level are closely related to global atmospheric circulation such as ENSO and regional atmospheric circulation, Monsoon. This study aims to examine the relationship between ENSO and Monsoon with the distribution of rainfall and sea level in coastal city Semarang from 2012 to 2021. Correlation and composite analysis were used to analyze the relationship and impact of ENSO and Monsoon phenomena on rainfall and sea level. The results showed the strong correlation of the ENSO index (Southern Oscillation Index) to rainfall in the JJA and SON periods. Generally, El Nio (La Nia) has an impact on increasing (decreasing) rainfall. Meanwhile, Australian Summer Monsoon Index (AUSMI) only strongly correlates with rainfall in the SON period. The westerly (eastern) wind indicated by a positive (negative) monsoon index in the SON period has the effect of increasing (reducing) rainfall. The ENSO phenomenon with sea level during the JJA period has a strong relationship. In JJA, the highest sea level (maximum tide) rises by 12.6 cm during El Nio and decreases by 0.6 cm during La Nia. Meanwhile, the lowest sea level (minimum low tide) decreased by 16.6 cm during El Nio and increased by 0.7 cm during La Nia. These results can explain the influence of global and regional atmospheric circulation on a local scale on the coast of Semarang City.Keywords:RainfallSea levelEl NioLa NiaMonsoon

Abstract

This study explores the development of Magic Card media to boost student engagement in solar system learning and facilitate conceptual understanding. The research is driven by the recognition that student participation is crucial for a successful learning environment. Therefore, designing relevant and engaging learning activities becomes essential. To address student participation and learning outcomes, the author created a media tool called Magic Card. This media involves group competitions where students match answer cards with planet nameplates and receive immediate feedback through magically lit lamps (correct = on, wrong = off). A classroom action research approach was employed in class VI of SDN Tanggultlare, involving a total of 11 students. The results revealed a significant improvement from the pre-cycle to cycle two. Student participation increased from 40.00% to 90.92%, and learning achievement rose from an average score of 67.55 to 85.45.
