Abstract

This paper is motivated by the existence of central issues regarding environmental damage that are increasingly concerning, both those reported through the mass media and those circulating on national and international television broadcasts. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solution for handling and to bridge environmental issues studied across various disciplines of knowledge, in this case, using an Islamic legal philosophy approach. This research method is a normative legal study using the perspective of Islamic legal philosophy. This study indicates that religion has tended to focus more on matters of ritual aspects without looking further at the meanings of the symbols of religious teachings themselves, particularly if they are associated with awareness to conserve the environment adequately because it involves the benefit of many people. This paper aims to reveal the sides of religious teachings, especially Islamic teachings that raise awareness of the environment. Because in Islamic doctrine, it is taught about how to behave by values or norms concerning human relations with the universe (hablu minal 'alam). The philosophical view of Islamic law is that humans are essentially entrusted with managing the planet and its contents as caliphs on earth, particularly in maintaining and managing the natural resources in a trustworthy manner to avoid mafsadah (damage) that threatens all human life. The findings of this study indicate that the Islamic legal philosophy provides a living guide for how to treat the environment in both peaceful and emergency situations. This can be accomplished by not destroying plants (trees), not throwing dirt anywhere, managing the land to be productive, removing obstacles in the flow of people's movement, and sharing responsibility for sustainably managing forests, water, and energy.

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju telah mendorong banyak perubahan dalam lingkungan masyarakat, termasuk di kalangan siswa SMA Tahfidz Assaidiyah Sampang di Indonesia. Salah satu perubahan yang signifikan adalah maraknya penggunaan media sosial. Tanpa disadari, penggunaan media sosial dapat mempengaruhi pembelajaran yang diterima oleh siswa. Pendampingan  ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh media sosial terhadap tingkat belajar siswa SMA Tahfidz Assaidiyah Sampang. Pendampingan Pelatihan Penulisan Karya Tulis Ilmiah (KTI) adalah siswa SMA Tahfidz Assaidiyah Sampang yang yang masih dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitin ini, peneliti akan mengunakan pendekatan penelitian secara kualitatif. Karena penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif dimana dimana dalam prosesnya menghasilkan data deskriptif yang berupa kata-kata atau tulisan dari orang pelaku yang diamati. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kreatifitas menulis dan tingkat belajar siswa SMA Tahfidz Assaidiyah Sampang. Kondisi  ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan menulis, semakin tinggi  tingkat belajar siswa. Implikasi dari pendampingan ini adalah pentingnya memberi motivasi dan pendampingan dalam untuk berkarya dalam bidang penulisan di kalangan siswa SMA Tahfidz Assaidiyah Sampang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan mereka.

Abstract

The poem is one of the literary works that is often used as a medium to convey messages of life. Through rhythmic language and imaginative content it can stimulate feelings and thoughts about the meaning of life. Therefore, it is often used as an educational medium that is believed to effectively influence a person's behavior through moral and ethical messages. Among the collections of poems that contain the message of life are the poems by Abū al-‘Atāhiyah. This research aims to reveal in-depth the values of moral education contained in the 4163 stanzas of Abū al-‘Atāhiyah in the book entitled Abū al-‘Atāhiyah: Asy’āruhu wa Akhbāruhu, edited by Syukrī Faishal from the book Dīwān Abī al-‘Atāhiyah. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a genetic structuralism approach. The results showed six themes of life, namely death, worldly life, self-forget, ruler lifestyle, concern for others, and self-introspection. These themes show the formation of a person who has religious behavior, creative and healthy thoughts, honest behavior, hard work attitude in achieving goals, politeness, love of peace, tolerance for others, and responsibility.

Abstract

Improving student achievement is an important indicator of school success, influenced by the principal’s leadership. This study aims to describe the principal’s managerial strategies to improve student achievement at SMAS Islam Hidayatut Thullab Robatal Sampang and examine their effectiveness. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and high-achieving students, as well as observation and documentation. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s model: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that the principal implemented four main strategies: (1) data-based academic planning; (2) strengthening instructional supervision; (3) improving learning facilities; and (4) providing motivation and recognition for high-achieving students. These strategies proved effective in improving learning outcomes, motivating students, and fostering a positive competitive culture in the school.

Abstract

The present investigation seeks to probe the impact of compensation, the utilization of outpatient service limits, also utilization of inpatient service limits on employee job satisfaction at PT XYZ Karawang, concurrently yet discretely. The genesis of this inquiry originates from differences in policies related to health service limits and plans for facility changes, which are expected to affect employee job satisfaction. This research executed a quantitative approach, structured via an associative investigational blueprint, with a sample totaling 78 respondents selected purposively from a total of 352 permanent employees. Data were amassed via structured questionnaires and subjected to analysis employing multiple linear regression, t-statistics, F-statistics, and the determinacy coefficient. The analytical elucidate that remuneration, the exploitation of outpatient service thresholds, and the engagement with inpatient service thresholds exert an affirmative and inferentially consequential influence upon personnel vocational contentment when assessed in isolation. When evaluated concurrently, these triad variables likewise manifest a substantial influence, accounting for 25.4% of the variance, whereas the residual 74.6% is attributable to exogenous factors beyond the purview of the present research model. These results indicate that fair compensation and adequate health facilities are crucial factors in fostering job satisfaction. The utilitarian import of this inquiry implies that management should maintain and enhance compensation policies as well as targeted health facilities to improve employee performance and loyalty.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced era has driven many changes in society, including among students at NU Galis Middle School in Bangkalan, Indonesia. One significant change is the widespread use of social media. Unwittingly, social media use can influence the learning outcomes of students. This mentoring program aims to investigate the influence of social media on the learning outcomes of students at NU Galis Middle School in Bangkalan. The Scientific Paper Writing (KTI) training program is for students at NU Galis Middle School in Bangkalan who are still in the learning process. In this study, the researcher will use a qualitative research approach. Qualitative research produces descriptive data in the form of words or writings from the participants observed. The results of this training demonstrate a significant relationship between writing creativity and the learning outcomes of students at NU Galis Middle School in Bangkalan. This indicates that the higher the intensity of writing, the higher the students' learning outcomes. The implication of this mentoring program is the importance of providing motivation and guidance to students in writing to improve the quality of their education.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the relationship between the state and Muslim civil society in managing zakat in Indonesia. The practice of zakat management in Indonesia has experienced ups and downs in the context of relations between the state and Muslim civil society. However, this kind of relationship does not hinder efforts to manage zakat optimally. Zakat management through zakat institutions has great benefits when compared to non-institutionalized zakat management. This article attempts to answer the question of what is the relationship between the state and Muslim civil society in managing zakat in Indonesia? Why is institutionalizing zakat important in efforts to manage zakat in Indonesia? This article is a type of literature research with a ma'na cum maghza approach which has found, first, that the management of zakat is in the domain of Muslim civil society in its relations with the state, especially after Indonesia's independence. The relationship between the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) which is affiliated with the state and the National Amil Zakat Institute (LAZNAS) which is affiliated with Muslim civil society is synergistic in efforts to manage zakat optimally. However, after the enactment of Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management, the state attempted to manage zakat nationally through the existence of BAZNAS. Secondly, zakat management in a zakat institution is important in an effort to optimize professional zakat management as indicated in Surah at-Taubah verse 60 which is represented through the existence of BAZNAS and LAZNAS

Abstract

This study aims to explore how ecotourism management involving environmental education can increase community awareness and involvement in mangrove conservation. This research design is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample was determined randomly for visitors to Bale Mangrove Ecotourism. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines with managers, visitors, and the surrounding community as well as observation sheets of ecotourism practices in the area. The research data consisted of responses from structured questionnaires, interviews and qualitative analysis methods, including thematic coding and content analysis, were used to categorize and interpret the responses. The results showed that mangrove ecotourism in Bale Mangrove not only provides economic benefits to the local community, but also acts as an effective educational medium to increase knowledge about the importance of mangrove conservation. With an approach that involves community empowerment and environmental education, it is expected that the management of this ecotourism can provide a sustainable model that benefits both economically and ecologically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of junior high school students' knowledge of the Nature of Science (NOS) based on school type (public and Islamic junior high schools) and gender. This study is a descriptive quantitative research involving 180 students with details of 81 students from public junior high schools and 99 students from Islamic junior high schools determined by random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 104 female students and 76 male students. The research data were collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability based on a Likert scale developed based on NOS aspects. The results showed that (1) there was a significant difference in the understanding of NOS between students of public and Islamic junior high schools, where students of public junior high schools had a higher level of understanding (good category) than students of Islamic junior high schools (moderate category); (2) there was no significant difference in the understanding of NOS based on gender.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi pada sekarang ini banyak persaingan antara lembaga satu dan lembaga yang lainnya dalam hal mewujudkan lembaga pendidikan yang berkualitias sangat memerlukan pengelolaan secara menyeluruh dan profesional terhadap sumber daya yang dimiliki. Salah satunya yang perlu dikelola adalah masalah keuangan, dalam konteks ini, keuangan merupakan sumber daya yang sangat diperlukan suatu lembaga sebagai alat untuk melengkapi sarana dan prasaran suatu lembaga yang digunakan secara efektif dan efisien dengan memerhatikan syariat islam. Penelitian ini merupakan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sistem manajemen keuangan pondok pesantren Darul iman untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan kebijakan pendidikan gratis dan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi yang dilakukan di Pondok pesantren Darul Iman.
