Abstract

Organic waste is the type of waste that is mainly disposed of by the public. Organic waste has a high water content, and it quickly decomposes. When it decomposes, organic waste creates a foul odour, which can cause environmental pollution and become a source of disease. Thus, it is necessary to manage waste with the principle of utilizing it, one of which is composting. This research aimed to study the effect of adding lighting during fermentation on organic matter's composting process using an EM-4 microorganism agent. Making compost is done with two kinds of treatment. The first treatment was carried out by adding lighting using LED lights with the help of an EM-4 bioactivator, and the second treatment was to use the help of an EM-4 bioactivator without adding lighting with LED lights as controls. The research methods used are the survey method and the descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the compost with the addition of lighting and covering with transparent plastic obtained a significant difference compared to the control compost. Compost with the addition of lighting and covering with transparent plastic obtained the final result at an average temperature of 26.33℃ and an average final pH of 6.77, whereas in compost with control treatment, the temperature value on the last day was still around 51 ℃ with a pH value of 7.8, indicating that the compost was not ripe. The culture contained in EM-4 consists of lactic acid-producing bacteria, namely Lactobacillus sp., Photosynthetic bacteria, namely Streptomyces sp. and yeast so that the treatment shows the same process pattern but tends to lower temperature and pH. Keywords : Composting, Fermentation, Photosynthetic Bacteria, LED Sampah organik merupakan jenis sampah yang umumnya dibuang oleh masyarakat. Sampah organik memiliki kandungan air yang tinggi sehingga cepat terurai. Ketika terurai, sampah organik menimbulkan bau busuk yang dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan dan menjadi sumber penularan penyakit. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengelola dan memanfaatkannya, khususnya dengan proses pengelolaan menjadi kompos. Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah berkonsentrasi pada dampak penambahan pencahayaan pada saat proses pengomposan pada bahan organik dengan penambahan mikroorganisme EM4. Pengomposan ini dilakukan dengan dua macam perlakuan, yaitu Perlakuan I dengan tambahan pencahayaan menggunakan lampu LED dengan bantuan bioaktivator Em-4 dan perlakuan II menggunakan bantuan bioaktivator EM4 tanpa tambahan pencahayaan dengan bantuan lampu LED sebagai kontrol. Strategi eksplorasi yang digunakan adalah survei dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompos yang diberi pencahayaan ekstra dan ditutup dengan plastik transparan memiliki perbedaan yang sangat mencolok dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. pengomposan yang diberi pencahayaan ekstra dan ditutup dengan plastik transparan memperoleh hasil akhir pada suhu rata-rata 26,33℃ dan pH akhir rata-rata 6,77. Sedangkan pada kolompok kontrol, suhu pada hari terakhir masih berkisar 51℃ dan pH 7,8 menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kandang belum siap digunakan. Bakteri yang terkandung dalam EM-4 terdiri dari mikroorganisme penghasil asam laktat Lactobacillus sp., organisme mikroskopis fotosintetik Streptomyces sp. dan juga ragi. Pada kompos perlakuan menunjukkan pola siklus serupa namun cenderung berada pada suhu dan pH yang lebih rendah. Kata Kunci : pengomposan, fermentasi, bakteri fotosintesis, LED

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work culture and communication among public officials on the quality of public reporting services at the Head of the Subdistrict Office in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, with a specific focus on the implementation of the Qlue application. Using a descriptive quantitative research method, the study investigates two independent variables—work culture and communication—and their effects on the dependent variable, namely the quality of public reporting services. Data collection was carried out through a census technique involving 150 respondents. The findings show that work culture significantly influences the quality of public services, contributing 53.9% to the variance. Communication also has a significant effect, accounting for 54.5%. When both variables are combined, they explain 57.1% of the variance in the quality of public reporting services. These results indicate that improving both internal culture and communication practices among public officials can substantially enhance the effectiveness of digital public service platforms such as Qlue. The study emphasizes the importance of good leadership, effective policy implementation, and active community participation in optimizing service delivery. It is recommended that the Head of the Subdistrict Office take strategic steps to strengthen the work culture by improving officials’ attitudes, perspectives, and behaviors to maximize the potential of digital tools in public administration.

Abstract

Pomegranate is one of the most potential natural resources due to its various compounds, especially in black pomegranate skin. Pomegranate peels are often considered as unusable residue. However, black pomegranate peels have high potential phenolic content and antibacterial properties than other types of pomegranates. This study aims to analyze the total phenolic content and test the antibacterial activity of black pomegranate peel as an antibiotic agent. The method used on the total phenolic content is Folin-Ciocalteau method with UV-VIS Spectrophotometer. Meanwhile, the antibacterial activity test was carried out by the diffusion method with MHA and MHB media against Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative bacteria, namely Eschericia coli and Staphylococcus aureus and positive control using apmhicilin and chloramphenicol. Bacteria were streaked on sterile solid media using sterile cotton buds. The results obtained on the total phenolic content of black pomegranate skin resulted in 90.89 μg GAE/mL sample. Meanwhile, the antibacterial properties obtained the largest diameter of the inhibition zone on Eschericia coli and Staphylococcus aureus respectively, namely 23.4 ± 0.19 and 21.7 ± 0.35 mm. The results showed that black pomegranate peel contributes significantly to environmentally friendly antibacterial properties and can be an innovation in antibiotic development. These findings, open up new opportunities in the formulation of natural antibiotic products that are effective and safe for humans.

Abstract

Ethanol was produced reliably using the S cerevisiae yeast for biorefinery as a new renewable energy source (RES). The abundance of lignocellulosic waste (β-glucan) requires its utilization and can be directed to bioethanol-RES production. We focus on hydrolysed polysaccharide fibre from biomass waste that was pretreated with hydrogen peroxide and hydrolisate used for cell growth in the early stages of fermentation activity. The research aims first to compare the initial stages of growth of the Saccharomyces cervisiae cell population in media from the Gracilaria sp macroalgae waste. Second, the consistency of the S cerevisae growth method, namely turbidimetry and cell mass in the early stages of fermentation activity. The research used an experimental method with independent variables as control treatment factor: corn polysaccharide extract (α-glucan 18), lignocellulosic hydrolysate-added peroxide 0.1%, and sugar cane disaccharide granules, seven repetitions for treatment respectively. The control variable was temperature and agitation. Growth parameters used turbidity-cell number and the cell mass tradition for sugar cane disaccharide granules. The determinant of cell number growth according to time is 74.44%; it was estimated that the influence of corn polysaccharides. Lignocellulosic hydrolysate substrate provides growth with a positive slope with a determinant of 39.9%, and both regression slopes were not significantly different and were exponential, while the use of sugar cane disaccharides had a negative slope. The lignocellulosic hydrolysate had a positive potential medium for the growth of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in the early stages of ethanol fermentation.

Abstract

Sinom drink is a traditional Indonesian beverage and has the potential to exhibit antioxidant activity beneficial to human health. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), a free radical compound, is a strong oxidiser that is more environmentally friendly than other oxidisers and can be used to test antioxidants in sinom drinks. This study aims to investigate the relationship between time and a decrease in peroxide concentration, as well as to determine the presence of antioxidant substances in sinom drinks. This research method employed experimental methods, with variations in the concentration of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) at 0, 50, 100, 150, and 200 ppm, and a repeat time of 7 × 24 hours using statistical descriptive analysis. The analysis of residual hydrogen peroxide uses permanganometric analysis. Based on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, the significance value of 0.010 indicates that the data distribution is abnormal. Furthermore, descriptive analysis and concentration levels can be used at 50 ppm because that concentration has the smallest deviation value compared to other concentrations. Excess hydrogen peroxide after reacting with antioxidants has a standard deviation value of 6.44790, with an average range of residues believed to be 31.06-37.70 when reacting with permanganate. Hypothetical antioxidant compounds in sinom drinks that can react with hydrogen peroxide include curcumin, flavonoids, and flavonoids.  Keywords: antioxidant, hydrogen peroxide, sinom drink, statistic descriptive, permanganometry test   ABSTRAK Minuman sinom merupakan minuman tradisional Indonesia dan berpotensi memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang baik bagi kesehatan manusia. Senyawa radikal bebas hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) merupakan salah satu oksidator kuat yang bersifat lebih ramah lingkungan dari oksidator lainnya dan dapat digunakan uji antioksidan dalam minuman sinom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara waktu dan penurunan konsentrasi peroksida dan mengetahui adanya zat antioksidan dalam minuman sinom. Metode penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode eksperimental, mempunyai variasi konsentrasi hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) 0, 50, 100, 150 dan 200 ppm, dengan ulangan waktu 7 ×24 jam. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif statistik. Adapun analisis residu hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) menggunakan analisis permanganometri. Berdasarkan uji kenormalan data dengan Kolmogorov-Smirnov menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0.010 yang berarti distribusi data adalah tidak normal. Selanjutnya menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kadar konsentrasi yang dapat digunakan 50 ppm dikarenakan pada konsentrasi tersebut mempunyai nilai deviasi terkecil dibanding konsentrasi lainnya. Kelebihan hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) setelah bereaksi dengan antioksidan dan memiliki nilai standar deviasi 6,44790, rentang rerata residu yang di percaya 31,06 - 37,70 bereaksi dengan permanganat. Senyawa antioksidan secara hipotetik dalam minuman sinom yang dapat bereaksi dengan hidrogen peroksida (H2O2) meliputi kurkumin, flavonoid dan asam askorbat.  Kata kunci: antioksidan, hidrogen peroksida, minuman sinom, statistik deskriptif, uji permanganometri

Abstract

Residents use Tirto Lesti Shelter for their daily needs. Residents use the Tirto Lesti water source for cooking, washing, bathing, and also drinking. However, activities in the Lesti watershed and the lack of cleanliness at the Tirto Lesti water reservoir both affect the quality of the water and pollute it.  Water pollution can also cause disease, so testing is needed to determine the quality of the water in the reservoir.  The purpose of this study is to determine the source of Tirto Lesti water contaminated with E. coli bacteria and to obtain environmental values of microbiological parameters, including E. coli, as well as physical and chemical properties of the water, in order to assess the feasibility of water quality in the Tirto Lesti water reservoir. This study employs a quantitative descriptive method, utilising the Petrifilm method to calculate the research results. The results of the Biology parameters revealed a total of 210 cells per 100ml. In terms of Physical parameters, odourless, tasteless, turbidity 1,386 NTU, temperature 24.18°C, TDS 2.2488mg/L, chemical parameters pH 6,536mg/L, DO 5.04mg/L. According to the quality standards, biologically, it does not meet the requirements of PERMENKES RI No. 32 of 2017 Chapter 2. Meanwhile, in terms of physical and chemical parameters, it meets the requirements of PERMENKES RI No. 32 of 2017 Chapter 2. However, the measurement of DO does not meet the quality standards based on Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021, Class 1. Keywords: water, E coli, coliform, water pollution, water quality, storage tank ABSTRAK Penampungan Tirto Lesti dan digunakan oleh warga untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Warga menggunakan sumber air Tirto Lesti ini untuk memasak, mencuci, mandi, dan juga minum. Namun aktifitas di daerah aliran sungai Lesti dan kurangnya kebersihan di penampungan air Tirto Lesti mempengaruhi kualitas air dan mencemari air tersebut.  Pencemaran air juga dapat menyebabkan penyakit, jadi diperlukan pengujian untuk mengetahui kualitas air di penampungan.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  sumber air Tirto Lesti tercemar bakteri E. coli dan mendapatkan nilai lingkungan parameter mikrobiologis pada E. coli, fisika, kimia air dan dasar kelayakan kualitas air di penampungan air Tirto Lesti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan metode petrifilem dan menghitung hasil penelitian. Hasil parameter Biologi di temukan Total E. coli 210sel/100ml. Secara parameter Fisika tidak berbau, tidak berasa, kekeruhan 1.386 NTU, suhu 24.18°C, TDS 2.2488mg/L, Secara parameter kimia pH 6.536mg/L, DO 5.04mg/L. Menurut standar baku mutu secara Biologi tidak memenuhi persyaratan PERMENKES RI No 32 Tahun 2017 Bab 2. Sedangkan secara parameter fisika dan kimia masi memenuhi persyaratan PERMENKES RI No 32 Tahun 2017 Bab 2. Namun pengukuran DO tidak  memenuhi standar baku mutu berdasarkan PP Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 kelas 1. Kata kunci: air, E coli, coliform, pencemaran air, kualitas air, bak penampungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik penghindaran pajak yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia, khususnya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada sektor Non-Cyclicals selama periode 2019 hingga 2024. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 9 perusahaan yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan masing-masing perusahaan sampel sebanyak 54 data laporan keuangan. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini meliputi Inventory Intensity (X1), Capital Intensity (X2), dan Sales Growth (X3), sedangkan variabel dependen adalah Penghindaran Pajak (Y). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak EViews 13. Secara parsial, variabel Inventory Intensity tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap Penghindaran Pajak, Capital Intensity tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, sementara Sales Growth menunjukannya pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Penghindaran Pajak. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen tersebut berpengaruh terhadap Penghindaran Pajak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui berapa tingkat konsentrasi zat Sodium Hipoklorit yang dapat mengurangi jumlah bakteri Coliform dan Ecoli serta mengetahui konsentrasi dapat mempengaruhi kualitas desinfektan. Metode dilakukan secara eksperimen dilaboratorium. Menggunakan 4 perlakuan, masing- masing konsentrasi yaitu : Kontrol ; 1% ;2% ;dan 3%. dengan 6x ulangan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan RAL, terdiri dari 4 Perlakuan dan 6 Ulangan, sehingga terdapat 24 Sampel Air sungai. Percobaan dengan 4 macam perlakuan (P) yaitu: P0 : Air sungai + Medium Lauryl Triptose Broth, P1 : Air sungai + Sodium Hipoklorit 1 %/100 ml + Medium Lauryl Triptose Broth, P2 : Air sungai + Sodium Hipoklorit 2 %/100 ml + Medium Lauryl Triptose Broth, P3 : Air sungai + Sodium Hipoklorit 3 %/100 ml + Medium Lauryl Triptose Broth. Data dianalisis dengan Anova satu arah (One Way).  Bakteri Coliform terutama E.coli menjadi indikasi dari kontaminasi fekal pada air minum dan makanan. Desinfektan didefinisikan sebagai bahan kimia atau pengaruh fisika yang digunakan untuk untuk membunuh atau menurunkan jumlah mikroorganisme atau kuman penyakit lainnya. Sodium hipoklorit adalah senyawa kimia dengan rumus NaOCl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sodium hipoklorit terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi bakteri yang terkandung dalam sungai sumberawan, tingkat konsentrasi yang tersedia pada perlakuan 1 berkurang cukup banyak dari pada perlakuan 0 yang tidak diberi sodium hipoklorit , sedangkan pada perlakuan 3 sodium hipoklorit mampu bekerja dengan baik ,sehingga dengan tingginya konsentrasi yang diberikan dapat mengurangi banyak bakteri dan sudah dibuktikan dengan perhitungan regresi dan hasil yang nyata pada Petrifilm.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the basic concepts of financial management, such as transaction recording, budgeting, and cost calculations, which are expected to help MSMEs in making more appropriate business decisions. The population that is the focus of this study is all Rengginang MSMEs, totaling 42 MSMEs. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated/census sample, the author took all respondents from the Rengginang MSME population, namely 42 respondents/MSMEs. Because it employs numerical data for descriptive statistical analysis, the research design employed in this study is quantitative. The outcomes of these computations will thereafter be contrasted with Chen and Volpe's standards for financial literacy. The study's findings indicate that financial behavior, financial awareness, and financial abilities are generally inadequate. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the Edu Finance Model for Rengginang MSMEs, which consists of Funding planning for rengginang MSMEs in Prenduan Village requires a clear written plan detailing the capital required and how the funds will be used. A profit and loss report can be prepared, providing information for rengginang MSMEs to manage their businesses. Furthermore, orderly financial record keeping will facilitate MSMEs. Feedback is needed to determine the extent to which budget allocations are in line with the plan. If not, the root cause of the discrepancy should be identified and incorporated into the next period's action plan to ensure sustainable financial management.

Abstract

Abstract. The involvement of former terrorist prisoners in social and economic empowerment efforts, especially members or ex-convicts who disengage the terrorist groups is an interesting and unique phenomenon. This article aims to explore the empowerment of ex-terrorist convicted on de-radicalization and social reintegration disengaging terrorist back into society. Through interviews of several activists ex-Jihadist and observation of empowerment programs, this article conclude that the former terrorist prisoner’s engagement in the empowerment initiatives as an alternate of government deradicalization programs of former terrorist prisoner. This group became the ‘new community’ for ex-extremists to express various views and believe without concealment. The presence of this group is a potential asset in promoting narratives against radicalism and terrorism in Indonesia. Abstraks. Pelibatan mantan narapidana teroris dalam upaya pemberdayaan sosial dan ekonomi, khususnya anggota atau mantan narapidana yang memisahkan diri dari kelompok teroris merupakan fenomena yang menarik dan unik. Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pemberdayaan eks narapidana teroris melalui deradikalisasi dan reintegrasi sosial untuk kembali ke masyarakat. Melalui wawancara beberapa mantan aktivis jihadis dan observasi program pemberdayaan, artikel ini berkesimpulan bahwa pelibatan mantan narapidana teroris di dalam upaya pemberdayaan sebagai program deradikalisasi alternatif dari pemerintah terhadap para eks napi teroris. Mereka bisa menjadi sebuah komunitas baru untuk para eks-ekstremis dalam mengungkapkan pandang dan keyakinan mereka secara terang-terangan. Kehadiran kelompok (mereka) ini menjadi aset penting dalam upaya mendorong narasi terhadap radikalisme dan terorisme di Indonesia.
