Abstract

Employee performance plays a fundamental role in determining the achievement of corporate targets, making effective human resource management a necessity. In this context, PT Cahaya Optima Karya is still faced with several strategic problems, namely training programs that are not comprehensively structured, levels of motivation and work discipline that need to be improved, and the contribution of the work environment that is not optimal in driving productivity. The research method applied is quantitative. The sampling technique uses a census, where questionnaires are distributed to the entire employee population of 113 people. Furthermore, the collected primary data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach operated through the Smart PLS 3 application. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that the variables of motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Although showing a positive direction of influence, the variables of training and work environment were not proven to be statistically significant.

Abstract

The survival of MSMEs to this day is a sign of the strength of the business management they employ and the support they receive from various parties. Banyumas Regency is one of the areas that is quite aggressive in the growth of MSMEs; currently, there are 8,557 registered MSMEs. Among them are several business owners who are members of the Aisyiyah women's empowerment movement. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide insight into the concepts of marketing strategy, digital technology, socialization of sustainable development, simple financial record-keeping, and business communication. The methods used in this activity consist of 4 stages: observation, socialization and training, monitoring and evaluation, and final report preparation. The results of the activity were obtained thru pre-tests and post-tests, where at the beginning of the socialization and training, about 30% of the participants understood the importance of business sustainability, and after participating in this activity, this increased significantly, with 70% of the participants able to understand the socialization and training materials. Therefore, it is hoped that from this activity, all participants will be able to seriously implement the training materials and practices as a strategy for resilience toward the sustainability of their businesses. Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to examine the influence of career satisfaction and job insecurity on turnover intention, with organizational commitment serving as a mediating variable, among employees of Purwokerto Islamic Hospital. Methods: A quantitative approach was employed involving a population of 130 employees from various departments at Purwokerto Islamic Hospital, including nurses, pharmacists, PPJA (nurses in charge of care), ward heads or coordinators, laundry staff, cleaning service staff, medical records staff, and security guards. Data were collected using a questionnaire, and analyses were performed using SmartPLS version 3.Results: The research findings indicate that career satisfaction has a positive but insignificant effect on both organizational commitment and turnover intention. In contrast, job insecurity was found to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Additionally, the results indicated that organizational commitment did not mediate the relationship between career satisfaction and turnover intention, but did mediate the relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention. Overall, these findings highlight the critical roles of job insecurity and organizational commitment in efforts to reduce employee turnover rates.
