Abstract

With the increasing number of older people, this community’s protection, welfare, and independence must run well. This research will then be carried out to see how the implementation of elderly schools can empower the elderly to stay healthier and independent through non-formal education. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The data obtained are sourced from various research results and studies that are relevant to this research. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of elderly schools in Central Java province has been carried out for a long time. The implementation of this elderly school is the implementation of lifelong education policies by participating in non-formal education, which is carried out regularly and well planned. Then in its implementation, the elderly school also provides various facilities such as mentors and health and social services carried out by various local institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a participatory training model for improving writing skills. Scientific writing skills are very important for educators, students, and professionals, not only as an academic task but also as a tool to develop critical, analytical, and creative thinking skills. Participatory training was designed systematically using the Research and Development (R&D) method, which includes literature review, product design, field testing, and revision, and involved 43 teachers selected by purposive sampling. The study results showed that this training significantly improved the scientific writing skills of teachers (H1), and the developed model was proven valid and effective (H2). Data analysis using the rating method, SPSS, and triangulation to ensure data credibility supported these findings. This training successfully overcomes obstacles in writing scientific papers, with strategic steps such as needs analysis, curriculum development, and constructive feedback. Interactive activities such as group discussions improve participants' understanding and skills. Positive responses from participants indicate increased motivation and competence, which confirms the importance of a participatory approach in professional development. These findings underline the importance of reflection in learning, which improves the quality of scientific publications among teachers.

Abstract

The role of women is very important in instilling the noble values of motherhood culture and noble values that must be preserved even though the times have changed where there are modernization challenges. Responding to globalization while maintaining the noble values of culture requires efforts to cultivate and form characters that are able to adapt to changes while maintaining local wisdom, because education is actually a civilizational process that cannot be separated from the role of women to realize it. This research aims to find out the role of indigenous women in maintaining traditional rituals and providing knowledge to the next generation in Kesepuhan Sinar Resmi. This field research uses survey or observation methods in the field, interviews with Ambu (traditional leaders) and Abah (traditional leaders), and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 12 traditional leaders and elders to obtain data as a primary source. The research approach used is a sociological, historical, and normative approach. The participation of women can be seen in the daily life of the indigenous people of Kasepuhan Sinar Resmi in maintaining and implementing the noble cultural values of their community "Mother earth, father of the sky, queen of the land" which in essence in their lives the community must preserve nature in the rice culture society.

Abstract

Pemerataan kesehatan tidak hanya pada masyarakat umum, tetapi pada masyarakat adat karena mereka seringkali menghadapi tantangan unik yang berkaitan dengan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan, sehingga diperlukan adanya pendampingan. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model bantuan literasi kesehatan reproduksi bagi remaja di Kesepuhan Sinar Resmi, Cisolok. Model ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan remaja dalam menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya melalui pendekatan berbasis budaya dan partisipatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Grounded Theory yang memungkinkan teori muncul dari data lapangan. Peserta terdiri atas tokoh adat, anggota adat, remaja, orang tua, perwakilan desa dan tenaga kesehatan, yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi peserta, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan remaja mengenai kesehatan reproduksi masih terbatas dan terdapat hambatan budaya dalam berkomunikasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Model pendampingan yang dikembangkan berdasarkan teori pembelajaran partisipatif dan kontekstual, serta integrasi nilai-nilai tradisional dan kearifan lokal, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja dan memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat adat dalam mendukung kesehatan reproduksi remaja secara berkelanjutan. Model ini mencakup tahapan pendahuluan, hubungan, aplikasi, refleksi, dan perluas, yang disesuaikan dengan prinsip-prinsip model keyakinan kesehatan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan remaja secara signifikan dalam menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya, serta memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat adat.

Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah infeksi paru yang membutuhkan pengobatan jangka panjang, dan ketidakpatuhan terhadap pengobatan dapat menyebabkan komplikasi dan kematian. Saat ini, banyak keluarga yang tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk merawat pasien tuberkulosis di rumah, sehingga tidak memadai dukungan, penghentian pengobatan, komplikasi, kematian, dan penularan ke anggota keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika dukungan keluarga dan tantangan sosial yang dihadapi keluarga dalam merawat pasien TBC untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian lapangan untuk mengamati fenomena secara luas dan mendalam, seperti yang terjadi dalam pengaturan sosial. Responden untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari 37 kasus (33%). Wawancara yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam. Narasumber adalah 30 keluarga pasien tuberkulosis paru di wilayah Desa Dunguscariang dan observasi terstruktur berdasarkan pedoman wawancara yang telah disusun, sebagaimana terjadi dan berkembang dalam konteks sosial Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kepatuhan pasien terhadap pengobatan tuberkulosis, menunjukkan bahwa dukungan keluarga efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pengobatan. Beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan dukungan keluarga bagi pasien tuberkulosis berhasil diatasi.

Abstract

Limited access to health services, such as minimal prenatal class programs, often increases health risks due to lack of adequate monitoring. In addition, low support from health workers can cause various problems, both physical and psychological, for pregnant women. Poor physical health and high levels of anxiety can have a negative impact on the health of the mother and fetus, even risking the baby being neglected and lacking breast milk. Therefore, when health worker resources are limited, empowering pregnant women becomes very important. The study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of education and assistance in increasing pregnant women's knowledge about self-care in pregnancy. This study used a quasi-experiment with a pre-posttest two group design. The population was pregnant women and the sampling technique was a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples was 60 people divided into two groups. Education and assistance were carried out for approximately 30 minutes, twice with a time span of one week. The media used was a Module. The pre-test was conducted to determine knowledge using a questionnaire. The post-test was conducted in the same way, after intervention was given to both the treatment and control groups. To see the effect of education and assistance, an independent T test was used. The results of the study showed that education and assistance were effective in increasing pregnant women's knowledge about self-care during pregnancy with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion is that education and assistance are effective in increasing knowledge about self-care during pregnancy.

Abstract

Pendidikan sangat penting untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia dan pertumbuhan sosial ekonomi suatu wilayah. Rata-rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengukur pembangunan manusia dilihat dari lamanya penduduk usia 25 tahun menyelesaikan pendidikan. Studi ini berfokus pada Kabupaten Muara Enim, yang memiliki RLS yang lebih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata nasional dan provinsi, dengan tujuan mengevaluasi kebijakan yang dapat mempercepat peningkatan RLS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-eksploratori, dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi (RLS, kemiskinan, pendidikan, fasilitas sekolah yang berasal dari BPS), wawancara/FGD, dan observasi lapangan terbatas di enam kecamatan yang dijadikan sampel untuk mewakili daerah tersebut. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan berbasis wilayah harus mencakup pengembangan infrastruktur pendidikan, peningkatan pemberdayaan gender, dan revitalisasi pendidikan vokasi dan nonformal untuk mendorong Rata-rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Muara Enim berada di Kuadran II (Kemiskinan Relatif Rendah, RLS Rendah), menunjukkan bahwa masalah utama yang menghambat peningkatan RLS adalah kendala struktural sisi penawaran (supply-side) atau kurangnya sekolah, bukan keterbatasan ekonomi rumah tangga. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyajikan usulan kerangka kebijakan tiga pilar, yaitu Pilar Spasial (Membangun Satuan Sekolah Baru/Sekolah Satu Atap dan memastikan daerah tertinggal menerima transportasi gratis), Pilar Gender dan Kapabilitas (advokasi anti pernikahan dini dan beasiswa tindakan afirmatif), dan Pilar Non-Formal (revitalisasi PKBM digital dan integrasi pendidikan kesetaraan dan pelatihan vokasi untuk orang dewasa).
