Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of the concept of NSP of grade V students at SD Negeri Bedahan. Concept understanding is an important foundation in the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, especially in learning Natural and Social Sciences (ESS) which contains various natural and social phenomena. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research subjects consisted of the fifth grade homeroom teacher and 32 fifth grade students. The results showed that students' understanding of the concept of NSP was low. The main factors that influence this condition are the dominance of the lecture method which makes students passive, the use of learning media in the form of textbooks and videos, although learning facilities are adequate but the use of interactive learning media is still minimal. In addition, students tend to memorize concepts without understanding the deep meaning, and are embarrassed and afraid to ask questions when experiencing difficulties. This study recommends the need for the use of interactive learning methods and the utilization of digital interactive learning media to increase students' understanding of NSP concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (NSP) at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngimbang. The background of this study is the low critical thinking skills of students which is influenced by the use of media and learning methods that are still conventional and less interactive. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the dominance of using textbooks as the main media causes learning to take place abstractly and monotonously, so that students become passive and have difficulty in understanding the material. Although the school has technology facilities, its utilization in learning is still minimal. The lack of contextual and interactive learning media causes low student concentration and has an impact on weak critical thinking skills and the application of knowledge in everyday life. This study recommends the use of more innovative learning media and teacher training in the utilization of technology to support critical thinking skills in accordance with the principles of Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pada pengembangan kemampuan adaptasi dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Berikut adalah beberapa poin penting dalam paradigma ini yaitu pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa,peningkatan keterampilan abad ke-21, integrasi teknologi, pembelajaranlintas disiplin, pengembangan karakter dan etika dan keterlibatan komunitas. Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pada pengembangan kemampuan adaptasi dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Penelitian Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk  mengetahui Relevansi Kurikulum Merdeka Terhadap Literasi Digital Menuju Generasi Indonesia Emas 2045 Pendekatan studi kasus melalui bedah artikel ilmiah digunakan karena peneliti ingin melakukan pengambilan data secara mendalam serta menyertakan berbagai sumber informasi. Kurikulum Merdeka adalah paradigma baru dalam pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Paradigma ini menekankan pada pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, pemecahan masalah, dan literasi digital. Dalam menghadapi abad ke-21, dunia mengalami perubahan yang cepat dan kompleks, terutama karena perkembangan teknologi dan globalisasi. Literasi digital juga penting dalam mengatasi kesenjangan digital yang ada di kalangan siswa. Guru yang memahami literasi digital dapat membantu siswa yang memiliki akses terbatas terhadap teknologi atau yang tidak terbiasa dengan penggunaan teknologi. Dengan pemahaman literasi digital, guru dapat merancang strategi pembelajaran yang inklusif dan memberikan bimbingan serta dukungan kepada siswa yang membutuhkannya menuju generasi emas indonesia 2045 mendatang. _________________________________________________________________________________ The Independent Curriculum emphasizes the development of adaptability and lifelong learning. Here are some important points in this paradigm, namely student-centered learning, improving 21st century skills, technology integration, cross-disciplinary learning, character and ethics development and community involvement. Research The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which aims to determine the Relevance of the Independent Curriculum to Digital Literacy Towards the Golden Generation of Indonesia 2045. The case study approach through scientific article analysis is used because researchers want to collect data in depth and include various sources of information. The Independent Curriculum is a new paradigm in education that aims to face the challenges of the 21st century. This paradigm emphasizes the development of 21st century skills, such as critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, communication, problem solving, and digital literacy. In facing the 21st century, the world is experiencing rapid and complex changes, especially due to technological developments and globalization. Digital literacy is also important in overcoming the digital divide that exists among students. Teachers who understand digital literacy can help students who have limited access to technology or who are not familiar with using technology. With an understanding of digital literacy, teachers can design inclusive learning strategies and provide guidance and support to students who need it towards the golden generation of Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

This research aims to describes the application of a self-directed learning model based on social challenges that can improve the social skills of elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted collaboratively between researchers and fourth grade teachers. The subjects of the study were 32 fourth grade students of SDN Made 4 Lamongan Regency in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection instruments used observation sheets, interviews, tests, and field notes. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The results of the study were that the percentage of students' social skills in cycle I reached 79.50% and in cycle II increased to 85.4%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the increase in students' social skills occurred due to the implementation of the self-directed learning approach based on social challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Augmented Reality media in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in IPAS subjects in elementary schools. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model, which has five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study employed a Control Group Pretest-Posttest design with fourth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Ngimbang Lamongan Elementary School. Data analysis was conducted through prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The Augmented Reality learning media was found to be highly valid based on the validation results: media experts 3.80, design 3.84, content 3.86, and learning devices 3.80. (2) The media is considered practical based on student responses in small-group trials (3.46), large-group trials (3.57), and student activities (3.22 and 3.55). (3) The media is also effective, as evidenced by the T-test (0.000) and N-Gain scores of 40.62% (experimental class) and 68.09% (control class). It is concluded that Augmented Reality media can enhance elementary school students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital learning media based on Smart Apps Creator in improving the understanding of IPAS concepts among fifth-grade elementary school students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model and a control group pretest-posttest design with fifth-grade students at Bedahan Public Elementary School as the subjects. Data collection techniques include validation, questionnaires, and concept understanding tests. There are two analysis techniques: prerequisite analysis testing and hypothesis testing. The validation results showed that the media fell into the highly valid category with scores from media experts of 3.88; design experts of 3.93; content experts of 3.79; and learning tools of 3.83. The media was also deemed highly practical based on student responses from small groups (3.35) and large groups (3.52), as well as student activities with scores of 3.45 and 3.75. The effectiveness of the media was proven through a paired t-test with a significance level of 0.026 < 0.05 and an N-Gain Score in the “moderate” category. Thus, the digital learning media based on Smart Apps Creator has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in enhancing elementary school students' understanding of IPAS concepts.
