Abstract

Bassed on the results of interviews with one student of class XI IPA at SMA Permata Kasih that the practicum is very rarely done and the learning model used is lecture, making students feel bored and chemistry is very difficult tu understand. To make students more active in the practicum process, a project-base learning model was used in this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of project-based learning models on learning outcomes. The research method used by students with an unequal control group design research desing. The sample in this study is class XI IPA 1 and IPA 2.The data analysis used is the U-Mann Whitney test with the posttest value of the control class and the experimental class, namely asmpy Sig.(2-Tailed is 0.02, meaning that there is a difference in learning outcomes between students taught using a project- based learning model and students taught using the lecture method. Based on the result of the calculation of the effect size obtained a score of 1.28 and is classified in the high category. Meaning that is has an effect of 39.975% on student lerning outcomes

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that spreads through the air and is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. To combat it, synthetic drugs are commonly used, which can have adverse effects, making natural alternatives like avocado mistletoe (Dendrophthoe pentandra) necessary. This study aims to explore potential tuberculosis compounds from D. pentandra. The method used in this research is an exploratory descriptive method. The identification of compound content in the ethanol extract of D. pentandra leaves was performed using GC-MS, along with potential testing as an antituberculosis agent through in silico molecular docking. The research results showed that there were 13 volatile compounds contained in the ethanol extract of D. Pentandra leaves, predominantly consisting of propane, 1-methoxy, with a concentration of 9.39%. D. pentandra has the potential as a ClpP1P2 antituberculosis agent with four promising compounds:2-amino-1-(5-bromo-2-pyridinyl)-4-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-7,7-dimethyl-5-oxo-1,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydro-3-quinolinecarbonitrile, stigmasterol acetate, β-sitosterol acetate, and γ-sitosterol. PASSOnline predictions support the potential of ethanol extract of D. Pentandra leaves as anti-tuberculosis and anti-mycobacteria agent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the practicum KIT and the teacher's response to the media developed in the environment-based simple distillation practicum KIT for class VII at SMP/Mts Sungai Raya. The instrument used in this study to collect data was questionnaire. Based on the results of the feasibility assessment of the media, this simple distillation practicum KIT was easy to use in distillation practicum with the lowest score of 83.3% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, the highest score percentage is 100% with very good criteria, stated in statements 1, 2 and 5. The highest score percentage   showed that the environment-based simple distillation practicum KIT media really referred to the mixture separation material. Teacher commented that the practicum KIT helped carry out learning efficiently. Based on the recapitulation of the teachers"™ responses on questionnaire, the average score obtained was 93.29% with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study discusses the ineffective chemistry learning process resulting in poor grades at State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Rasau Jaya, students tend to receive information from the teacher without constructing their own knowledge, so students have difficulty in constructing the material obtained from the teacher. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning outcomes of students in 11th Grade Science Class odd semester in chemistry subjects at SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya. The form of research used in this research is descriptive research, and the type of research is a case study. Case study is one of qualitative research, in which researchers conduct in-depth exploration of programs, events, processes, activities, for one or more people. The subjects of this study were students of 11th Grade Science Class at SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya in the 2019/2020 school year who took the odd semester general test, totaling 93 students. The research process includes three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the final stage. The data collection tool used is the odd semester general test score. Results and Discussion regarding Indicator 1: List the general formula of alkane, alkene and alkyne compounds, Indicator 2: Mention the law of conservation of energy, Indicator 3: Determine the number of moles from the results of the experiment, Indicator 4: Determine the value of the equilibrium constant Kc based on the reaction. The results of the general test conducted on 11th Grade students of SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in the class are not adequate.

Abstract

In this era, technology is advancing and developing rapidly. Almost every minute or even second we are in direct contact with technology. In today's world of education, it is also inseparable from the role of technology. Students who on average have good technological literacy tend to get bored more quickly when learning runs conventionally. Regarding the function of learning media, it can be emphasized as follows: as a tool to streamline learning, accelerate the teaching and learning process, and improve the quality of the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to produce a documentary video about food additives that is expected to be utilized for ease of learning. The method used in this research is research and development developed by Borg and Gall. This documentary video media development procedure goes through stages, namely: (1) Research and information gathering, (2) Product development planning, and (3) Initial Product Development. Data or information collection techniques using literature studies and field studies. Stages of video development by creating a storyboard using a video editor application. The next stage of learning videos is validated or evaluated by experts.  This Documentary Video validation analysis uses descriptive methods through questionnaires. The results of the validation of this Documentary Video obtained an average score of 3.5 by entering the valid category. It can be concluded that this Video Documentary is suitable for use and can be followed up by looking at student responses.

Abstract

The protection of citizens' constitutional rights is a fundamental element in Indonesia's democratic rule of law. The Constitutional Court plays a strategic role through its judicial review authority, serving as the primary instrument for upholding constitutional supremacy and controlling state power. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the judicial review mechanism in protecting citizens' constitutional rights and formulate a direction for strengthening this mechanism in the context of modern Indonesia, which is oriented towards the sustainability of democracy and constitutionalism. This study uses a normative juridical approach, analyzing legislation, Constitutional Court decisions, and constitutional law doctrine. Data are analyzed systematically, logically, and prescriptively to identify gaps between normative guarantees of constitutional rights and their protection in practice. The results show that judicial review has functioned as a corrective mechanism for laws that conflict with the constitution and as a means of strengthening the principle of checks and balances. However, the protection of constitutional rights through this mechanism remains limited because the scope of the Constitutional Court's authority does not yet extend to rights violations resulting from concrete actions by state institutions. In addition, the dynamics of legislative politics and relations between state institutions influence the consistency of constitutional rights protection. This study concludes that strengthening the judicial review mechanism through expanding authority, increasing institutional independence, and integrating the perspective of the sustainability of the rights of future generations is an urgent need to ensure effective protection of constitutional rights in a democratic state under the rule of law in Indonesia.
