Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between reading literacy and students' ability to solve story problems in class IV SDN Mangga Besar 01. The research method used is quantitative method with correlational research type. The sampling technique used in the study, namely saturated sampling technique. The instruments used are questionnaire sheets and test questions. The tests used in this study are normality test and linearity test. This research hypothesis test uses Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of hypothesis testing show a significant positive relationship between reading literacy and the ability to solve math story problems in class IV SDN Mangga Besar 01 with a significance value of 0.047 and a person correlation of 0.409 included in the interpretation of the moderate category. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between reading literacy and the ability to solve math problems in class IV SDN Mangga Besar 01. Abstract

The research in this paper aims to determine the role of teachers in improving learning discipline at SD Negeri Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. The teacher's role is very important in improving learning discipline to achieve learning goals. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis technique uses triangulation. The subjects of this research were 3 teachers and students of class VI at SD Negeri Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. The results of this research show that teachers are not only focused on conveying knowledge, but also include aspects of educating, guiding, training and assessing. There are 4 roles of teachers in improving learning discipline, namely (1) the role of teachers as educators; 2) the role of the teacher as a guide; 3) the role of the teacher as a trainer; 4) the role of the teacher as an evaluator. Through these 4 roles, teachers can improve student learning discipline. The learning environment becomes conducive and active because learning discipline is not just about learning, but a process that requires changes in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai hubungan media sosial TikTok terhadap motivasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan media sosial tiktok dengan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan angket. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Cengkareng Timur 15 Pagi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif melalui tabel dan analisis statistic non-parametik dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial TikTok dengan motivasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila yang ditunjukkan dari uji korelasi sebesar 0,590 yang dikategorikan bahwa hubungan antara kedua variabel sedang dan memiliki hubungan positif. Abstract

This research aims to determine the existence of a positive relationship between interest in reading and short story writing skills. The sample in this study consisted of 24 students, consisting of 12 male students and 12 female students. The instruments used to measure reading interest and short story writing skills are in the form of questionnaires and tests. This research uses quantitative research with a correlation method. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is no positive relationship between interest in reading and short story writing skills. Interest in reading with weak short story writing skills. Because students are better at writing short stories than they are at reading.

Abstract

Listening skills play a role in helping students understand oral information delivered during the learning process, so it is thought to be related to the achievement of student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the relationship between listening skills and Indonesian language learning outcomes in fifth-grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative correlational approach with a research sample of 30 fifth-grade students of Larangan 4 Public Elementary School, Tangerang City. Listening skills data were obtained through tests, while Indonesian language learning outcomes data were obtained from odd semester report card scores in the 2025/2026 academic year. The results of data analysis show that listening skills and Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students have a positive correlation with a moderate level of relationship as seen from the correlation coefficient value of 0.477 and a significance of 0.008. The coefficient of determination of 0.228 indicates that 22.8% of student learning outcomes are determined by listening skills. Therefore, teachers need to develop listening skills in students that will support improved Indonesian language learning outcomes.

Abstract

The low level of mathematics learning outcomes among elementary school students remains a challenge, particularly in answering questions that require critical thinking skills, such as analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting information. This study aims to determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade elementary school students. The study was conducted at SDN Cikeas 05, Bogor Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade elementary school students in Cikeas, Bogor Regency. The sample was SDN Cikeas 05, selected through cluster sampling, with 30 students from Class IV B serving as the research subjects. Data on critical thinking skills were collected using an essay test instrument, while data on mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from students’ first-semester report card records for the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.543, which was categorized as moderate. These findings indicate that higher critical thinking skills are associated with higher mathematics learning outcomes. In addition, critical thinking skills contributed 29.5% to students’ mathematics learning outcomes. The findings imply that teachers need to implement learning activities that foster students’ critical thinking skills in order to improve mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade elementary school students in Indonesian language learning. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data collection techniques employed vocabulary mastery tests and reading comprehension tests administered to fifth-grade students. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and the variables had a linear relationship. The Pearson Product Moment test obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.817 with a significance value of 0.000. The findings indicated a very strong positive relationship between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension skills. Students with higher vocabulary mastery tended to understand information and interpret reading texts more accurately. The study findings indicated that vocabulary mastery supported students’ reading comprehension skills in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning independence and elementary school students' learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method and involves 30 fifth-grade students of SDN Semper Barat 09 as the research sample. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to measure students' learning independence and documentation of science learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that there is a strong and significant relationship between learning independence and student learning outcomes with a correlation value of 0.770 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, learning independence contributes 59.3% to student learning outcomes. Thus, the higher the student's learning independence, the higher the learning outcomes obtained.

Abstract

Elementary school students’ mathematics achievement is influenced by various factors, one of which is their generally low interest in the subject of mathematics. This study aims to demonstrate the relationship between learning interest and students’ mathematics achievement. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational research design. The population consists of fourth-grade students at public elementary schools in the Cikeas subdistrict, and the sample comprises 30 students from SDN Cikeas 05. Sampling was conducted using probability sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using a learning interest questionnaire and mathematics report card grades from the odd-numbered semester. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and prerequisite tests for analysis, including normality and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing was performed using the product-moment correlation coefficient, the coefficient of determination, and a significance test with a t-test. The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning interest and students’ mathematics achievement, with a correlation coefficient of 0.486.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the needs for children’s storybook learning media in Pancasila Education learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) in elementary school. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, focusing on the analyze stage. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Karet 04 Pagi involving third-grade elementary school students as research subjects. Data collection was carried out using a needs analysis questionnaire with a four-level Likert scale consisting of Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis by calculating the average score of each statement item. The findings revealed that students require engaging, interactive, and visually appealing learning media that involve direct learning activities. Students showed high interest in learning activities involving stories, visual illustrations, and project-based activities such as coloring, making posters, and group assignments. The results indicate that the development of children’s storybook learning media through Project Based Learning is relevant to support Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools. The developed media is expected to create a more active, meaningful, and student-centered learning process.
