Abstract

Roads are infrastructure that really supports people's living needs. In a broader dimension, the road network has a very important role in regional development, both national, regional and district/city areas according to the function of the road network. The condition of the road damage that occurred on a number of roads in the Makassar city area is increasingly worrying. The reason is that the condition of the road, which was initially slightly damaged due to being abandoned, is now getting worse with deep potholes. As a result, the smoothness of traffic and the safety and comfort of road users are disrupted. This research is intended to provide information regarding the types of road damage that occur, factors causing road damage and mitigation efforts carried out on the Tanjung Bunga metro road, Makassar city. The data collection method is in the form of a visual survey of types of road damage carried out directly in the field and data analysis using the Bina Marga method. The results of research in the field show that the greatest road damage on rigid pavement is grain release with a percentage of 0.076 percent on the left section and 0.089 percent on the right section, while the smallest type of road damage is corner cracking with a percentage of 0.0035 percent on the left section. and 0.0027 percent on the right side. The biggest type of road damage on flexible pavement is grain shedding with a percentage of 0.121 percent on the left section and 0.088 percent on the right section, while the smallest type of damage on the left section is edge cracking with a percentage of 0.003 percent and the type of damage sinking on the right section with a percentage 0.002 percent. Among the most dominant types of damage is grain release.

Abstract

The traffic on the Makassar City Boulevard Road segment operates using a two-way system, with a significant volume of vehicles and frequent obstacles on the sides. It arises as a result of the presence of commercial zones, encompassing trade and service establishments such as offices, banks, stores, restaurants, hotels, and shopping centers, where transactions between sellers and purchasers take place. Hence, this study was carried out to investigate the influence of side barriers obstructions on the performance of the Makassar City Boulevard Road segment utilizing the MKJI 1997 methodology. The analysis reveals that the highest frequency of side barriers on the section of Jalan Boulevard Makassar City occurs on Thursdays at point 2 (in front of Jims Honey Store), with a rate of 592 pcu/h or 4.10% of the total number of side barrier events at that location, which is 14450 pcu/h. These side barriers are classified as high class (H) and are predominantly found in commercial areas with high roadside activity. Thus, it has been demonstrated that side barriers have a notable influence on the performance of the Makassar City Boulevard Road portion, leading to a fall in speed and capacity, as well as a decline in service quality standards.

Abstract

Transportasi merupakan kebutuhan mendasar dan terus terintegrasi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis variabel perilaku masyarakat terhadap pengguna angkutan umum pasca pengoperasian kereta api rute maros-barru. Lingkup penelitian terfokus pada angkutan kereta api rute maros-barru, variabel hasil hipotesa diantaranya perilaku secara inplisit dan eksplisit, model perilaku masyarakat pada penelitian ini menggunakan model persamaan regresi berganda dengan analisis Statistic Package Sosial Science (SPSS). Data kuesioner berdasar pada objek penelitian yaitu lima variabel bebas (X); variabel pengetahuan, ajakan, keputusan, penerapan dan konfirmasi. dengan variabel terikat (Y) perilaku masyarakat pengguna angkutan umum pasca pengoperasian kereta api rute maros-barru. Dalam penelitian ini analisis data dengan uji instrumen, uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesa. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 100 orang sebagai objek responden, hal ini didasarkan pada pendapat Cohenn dan Rhoschoe. Hasil pembahasan lima variabel bebas (X); Variabel Pengetahuan memiliki pengaruh rendah, variabel ajakan memiliki pegaruh sangat rendah, variabel keputusan memiliki pengaruh sangat rendah, variabel implementasi memiliki pengaruh sangat rendah, variabel konfirmasi memiliki pengaruh sangat kuat terhadap variabel terikat (Y) Perilaku masyarakat pengguna jasa angkutan kereta api pada rute maros-barru.

Abstract

In today's modern era Currently, transportation is a basic need for all humans to be able to move from one place to another or from their origin to their desired destination. Traffic vehicle movement activities, and one of the infrastructure as a road section that has currently caused problems for the community in carrying out traffic movements, is on the Tanjung Bunga Metro Road section in Makassar City. The Tanjung Bunga Metro Road in Tamalate District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi is increasingly showing a condition that is quite serious, so that the public and the Makassar City Transportation Department are complaining about the difficulty of clearing up traffic jams on this section of the road. In accordance with the problem formulation, the research objectives are (1) Analyze the influence of vehicle generation on the impact of traffic jams on the Tanjung Bunga Metro road, Makassar city. (2) Factors that have a dominant influence on the impact of traffic congestion on the Tanjung Bunga Metro road, Makassar city. Research Method was carried out using a qualitative descriptive analysis method using SPSS Ver.21. The results obtained by the Regression equation model are as follows: Y = 1.807 - 0.208X1 + 0.245X2 + 0.039X3 + 0.244X4 + 0.558X5, with the following description: Variable X1 Aspect of Work Activities, with a coefficient value of 0.208. Variable X2 Aspect of Travel Destination, coefficient number 0.245, Variable or 59.70%.

Abstract

Persimpangan adalah salah satu bagian jalan yang merupakan daerah terjadinya hambatan lalu lintas. Adanya hambatan ini akan mengakibatkan gangguan pada pergerakan kendaraan, yang akhirnya menimbulkan tundaan dan antrian kedaraan yang panjang. Keadaan ini umumnya dikenal dengan kemacetan arus lalu lintas. Melihat adanya hambatan yang terjadi di simpang tiga lengan Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. Ammana Wewang, maka di rasa perlu untuk melakukan analisa faktor hambatan yang terjadi khususnya di area persimpangan. Dalam menganalisa kapsitas dan perilaku lalu lintas di butuhkan data lapangan berupa: Kondisi geometrik meliputi lebar pendekat, kondisi arus lalu lintas dari senin 21 Oktober 2019, Kamis 24 Oktober 2019, dan Sabtu 09 November 2019, dengan waktu pengamatan 16 jam per hari dari jam 06.00 – 21.00 Wita, kondisi lingkungan berupa kelas ukuran kota, tipe lingkungan jalan, dan kelas hambatan samping. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisa kapasitas dan perilaku lalu lintas pada simpang ini mengacu pada metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI 1997).

Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan kondisi jalan berkualitas perlu dibuat suatu konsep design mix formula lapis tipis beton aspal berdasarkan spesifikasi umum 2018 Bina Marga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis karakteristik campuran beraspal lapis tipis beton aspal, menganalisis perilakunya terhadap kekuatan tarik dan ketahanannya terhadap deformasi. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Pengujian ketahanan terhadap Deformasi dengan variasi ketebalan 2 cm, 3 cm, dan 4 cm dengan alat Wheel Tracking Machine. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh karakteristik campuran aspal lapis tipis beton aspal memenuhi spesfikasi umum 2018 Bina Marga. Nilai Indirect Tensile Strength adalah 66.762,2 Kpa, nilai regangan (Ɛ) 0,03 modulus elastis E = 2.174.234,31 kPa dan Poisson Ratio = 0,10. Hasil deformasi dengan menggunakan alat wheel trecking adalah dengan nilai stabilitas dinamis 266,385 lintasan/mm, 717,949 lintasan/mm dan 2896,552 lintasan/mm untuk ketebalan 2cm, 3vm, dan 4cm berturut-turut. Berdasarkan hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tebal suatu campuran maka semakin besar nilai stabilitas dinamis yang dihasilkan. Penggunaan campuran lapis tipis beton aspal ketebalan 2 cm mengalami retak dan penurunan yang besar sebelum 2520 lintasan.

Abstract

Public transportation constitutes a service designed for the conveyance of passengers, characterized by a collective travel framework accessible to the broader populace. The rise in population leads to an escalation in human mobility, thereby amplifying the demand for transportation services. In alignment with the problem formulation, the objective of this study is to 1) Examine the factors that affect the degree of user satisfaction regarding the performance of Teman Bus transportation services along Corridor II Panakkukang Square - Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar City. 2) investigate the primary factors that significantly impact user satisfaction regarding Teman Bus transportation services along Corridor II from Panakkukang Square to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar City. The research method is descriptive qualitative analysis with SPSS Version 21. The results obtained are as follows. Regression Equation Model: Y = 15.160 + 0.457X1 + 0.255X2 - 0.011X3 + 0.686X4 - 0.1547X5 - 0.42X6 + 0.254X7 Using the following description: Variable: X1 Physical Aspect of Infrastructure has a coefficient value of 0.457. Variables: X2 Reliability Aspect, coefficient value 0.255; X3 Responsiveness Aspect, coefficient value 0.011. Variable: X4 Security Assurance Aspect, having a coefficient value of 0.686. Variables: X5 Empathy Aspect (0.1547), X6 Accessibility Aspect (0.422), and Variable: X7 Comfort Aspect has a coefficient value of 0.254.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of U-Turn facilities on traffic performance on Makassar Perintis Kemerdekaan Road, with a focus on three study points, namely KM 8+327 (in front of PO Bintang Marwah Bus), KM 10+467 (in front of Yonkav TNI Dormitory), and KM 10+910 (in front of Cokroaminoto Campus Makassar). The method used in this research is quantitative analysis based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997). Data were collected through traffic surveys for three days during peak hours (07:00-09:00, 11:00-13:00, and 15:00-18:00), including vehicle volume, travel time, vehicle speed, queue ratio, road capacity, and degree of saturation. The results showed that the presence of U-Turns on the Makassar Perintis Kemerdekaan Road Section has a significant impact on increasing traffic delays and decreasing the level of road service. High vehicle volumes, especially during peak hours, cause long queues at U-Turn locations, with degree of saturation (DS) values approaching or exceeding the threshold suggested by MKJI. In addition, it was found that the presence of "mr. ogah" who regulates traffic unofficially also worsens traffic flow conditions by creating conflicts between vehicles by causing queues characterized by the highest queue ratio of 1.34 at Km 8 + 327 then the queue ratio at km 10 + 467 of 1.16 and the queue ratio at km 10 + 910 of 1.067. The conclusion of this study is the need for evaluation and rearrangement of U-Turn facilities to improve the efficiency of traffic flow on the Makassar Independence Pioneer Road Section. Some of the recommendations proposed include the addition of special lanes for U-Turns, increasing road capacity, and installing clearer signs and road markings to reduce traffic conflicts.

Abstract

Kota Makassar yang saat ini memiliki jumlah penduduk kurang lebih 1,7 juta jiwa dengan tingkat pertumbuhan sebesar 1,35% pertahunnya akan menjadi dilematis dengan jumlah beberapa tahun kedepan. Pertumbuhan penduduk akan memicu tingkat permintaan transportasi, saat ini pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan di Kota Makassar kurang lebih 2 juta unit dengan rincian 1,4 juta kendaraan merupakan roda dua dan selebihnya kendaraan roda empat dengan tingkat pertumbuhan kendaraan mencapai 6–7% pertahunnya, disisi lain pertumbuhan peningkatan kapasitas ruas jalan hanya mencapai dibawah 1%, sehingga dapat diprediksi berbagai permasalahan transportasi akan lebih komplik kedepan. Sehingga fokus penelitian ini pada aspek faktor yang memberi pengaruh masyarakat untuk menggunakan kendaraan pribadi dibanding menggunakan angkutan umum. Tujuan Penelitian,1.) Menganalisis Kecenderungan masyarakat menggunakan kendaraan pribadi terhadap kemacetan di Kota Makassar, 2.) Mengkaji Faktor yang memberi pengaruh dominan masyarakat cenderung menggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Metode penelitian merupakan Analisis deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan Statistic Package for Sosial Science (SPSS.Ver 21). Hasil yang diperoleh, Model Persamaan Regeresi Linear Berganda Y = 2,124 + 0,127X1 + 0,410X2 + 0,440X3 + 0,215X4 + 0,350X5. Koefisien X1: Budaya Pengendara sebesar 0,127, koefisien X2: Efektifitas Perjalanan sebesar 0,410, koefisien X3: Efisiensi Perjalanan, sebesar 0,440, koefiasien X4: Gaya Hidup sebesar 0,215 dan koefisien X5: Layanan Angkutan Umum sebesar 0,350. Variabel yang memberi pengaruh dominan adalah Variabel X2: Efektifitas Perjalanan dan X3: Efisiensi Perjalanan, artinya bahwa kecenderungan pengendara menggunakan kendaraan pribadi karena pertimbangan Efektif dan Efisien perjalanan.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a significant problem that is often faced by major cities around the world, including Makassar, which not only affects travel efficiency, but also negatively impacts the environment and the quality of life of residents; This study aims to optimize the urban transportation system by developing a computer-based traffic simulation model that is able to analyze and take into account various variables that contribute to congestion, such as traffic volume, vehicle movement patterns, and road geometry, where field data shows that the traffic volume at peak hours reaches 4200 smp/hour, with 65% of vehicles consisting of cars and motorcycles, the average speed of vehicles ranges from 15-20 km/h, the waiting time increases by 3 minutes when congestion occurs, CO2 emissions increase by 5 tons/day, and the level of Urip Sumoharjo road service which results in LOS E values and travel times increase by 10 minutes due to congestion; The results of this analysis are expected to provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of various transportation system optimization scenarios, including traffic signal adjustment, traffic direction regulation, and the addition of special lanes for specific vehicles, so as to reduce congestion and improve the efficiency of the overall urban transportation system, which is ultimately expected to improve the quality of life of Makassar residents and create a better environment sustainable for future generations.
