Abstract

VSAT yang digunakan di bandara masih menggunakan jenis antena FSS (Fixed Satellite Service). Antena jenis ini jika digunakan dapat terjadi pergeseran pada arah antena serta belum dilengkapi dengan pengarahan secara otomatis. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah alat simulasi auto pointing antena VSAT. Konsep rancangan ini dibuat untuk penanganan secara langsung jika terjadi suatu pergeseran secara tiba-tiba sehingga pengarahan antena dapat selalu sesuai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan tahapan yang dilalui hanya akan mencapai tahap keenam dari keseluruhan tahapan. Tahapan tersebut yaitu menentukan potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain alat, validasi alat, revisi alat dan tahap uji coba. Ada beberapa komponen yang digunakan dalam pembuatan rancangan ini yaitu mikrokontroler, modul GPS, modul kompas digital, modul akselerometer dan motor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan simulasi alat dapat menggerakan dan mempertahankan arah antena tetapi terdapat sedikit kesalahan dalam proses pengarahannya.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how the Forum YASINAN, as an actualization of democratic innovation, can become an instrument of public participation in regional development in the West Sumbawa Regency. Studies have shown that the lack of public involvement in encouraging public policy and democratic political processes is a problem in developing countries, particularly at the local government level. However, this study demonstrates how local governments can solve community problems through democratic innovation. This study was conducted in West Sumbawa. This study used democratic innovation and participatory democracy as the framework for thinking by interviewing the initiators of Forum YASINAN, representatives of beneficiary communities from eight sub-districts in West Sumbawa, a literature study, and field observations. The findings indicated that Forum YASINAN, conducted by the West Sumbawa Regency Government, has become an innovation that can increase public participation in the development process. One of the innovative aspects of the YASINAN Forum is that the Regent and Deputy Regent provide an informal space for the community to evaluate public services. It simultaneously encourages community participation as demos in which they can voice their aspirations to control the government through informal channels. The forum, which is held every week in turn in each sub-district, shows the local government’s strong willingness to encourage public participation. This study contributes by showing how governments can solve community problems through democratic innovation in the case of the West Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze damage to one of the Multilateration equipment (MLAT) modules which causes a red alarm on the Receiver Unit (RU) monitor. Multilateration (MLAT) is equipment used to accurately determine target positions at airports so that Multilateration (MLAT) equipment is required to operate normally so that it can help the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in guiding flights. In this research, one of the Multilateration equipment (MLAT) modules was damaged. So that equipment performance decreases and causes a readable alarm condition. The research method used in this research is Literature Study

Abstract

Club futsal IKPPM Unter Iwes salah satu club futsal yang Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar Provinsi Nusa Teggara Barat, yang merupakan  salah  satu  dari  sekian  banyak club futsal  yang aktif mengikuti turnament futsal yang ada di Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar. Meskipun aktif latihan dan mengikuti turnamen futsal masih banyak hal teknis yang harus diperhatikan oleh para pemain futsal putra IKPPM Unter Iwes yaitu hal yang mendasar adalah kondisi fisik yang paling dominan dalam bermain futsal. Untuk itu beberapa hal yang menyebabkan lambatnya kenaikan prestasi futsal diantaranya, penguasaan teknik, taktik, mental dan kondisi fisik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Ingin mengetahui Kondisi Fisik Pemain Futsal IKPPM Unter Iwes Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang semata-mata bertujuan mengetahui keadaan objek atau peristiwa tanpa suatu maksud untuk mengambil kesimpulan-kesimpulan yang berlaku secara umum. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pemain futsal IKPPM Unter Iwes berjumlah 15 pemain, Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Studi Populasi. Instrument penelitan ini adalah tes Daya tahan VO2 Max, tes kecepatan lari 30 Meter, Tes Kekuatan Otot tungkai dengan Leg and Back Dynamometer. Berdasarkan pada analisis data di atas yang diperoleh persentase paling tinggi disetiap norma adalah sebagai berikut. VO2 Max kategori norma cukup sebesar 40%, Kecepatan kategori norma cukup 40%, kekuatan otot tungkai kategori norma sedang 80%.

Abstract

Vocational school students are vocational schools that are at the forefront of the industrial world. This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out based on concerns about the condition of several vocational schools with practical facilities that were still below standard. The responsibility of universities is not only to produce students but also to improve the surrounding area so that the benefits are also felt in society. The PKM scheme that will be implemented is an Assisted School-based Scheme (PKM-SB). PKM's partner is Prima Bakti Vocational School with a "B" or Very Good accreditation. Partners do not have adequate facilities for the Industrial Electronics Engineering major, especially for basic electronics lessons. Therefore, the activities that will be carried out will involve assisting Prima Bakti Vocational School teachers in creating practical modules and basic electronics trainer kits. The practical module is adapted to the curriculum and syllabus currently being implemented in schools for grade 9 students in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects. The module in the form of a practical job sheet is a basic competency of knowledge and skills consisting of 14 experiments. The modules and trainer kit have been tested for their function properly and have been tested on students. The implementation of PKM activities also evaluated the level of satisfaction from PKM partners, namely productive teachers and the management of SMKS Prima Bakti school, with 100% satisfaction. The hope is that this PKM can boost the accreditation ranking and quality of human resources for graduating Prima Bakti Vocational High School students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine the physical condition level of students in the Physical Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The population of this study consists of all students from the 2022 cohort of the Physical Education Study Program, totaling 106 individuals. The sample was determined using simple random sampling, taking a random sample of 15%, which amounts to 16 individuals. The data collection instruments used were flexibility tests (Sit and Reach Test), balance tests (Standing Stork Test), abdominal muscle strength tests (Sit Up and Push Up), strength tests (Standing Long Jump), speed tests (30 m Sprint), agility tests (T-Test), and VO2max endurance tests (Bleep test). Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages. From the research results, it can be concluded that the physical condition of the students in the Physical Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University can be categorized as "good." The highest percentage of the physical condition level of students from each test item is in the “Very Good” category, which includes the Leg Muscle Explosiveness Test at 100%, the “Good” category for the Agility Test at 62.5%, the “Moderate” category for the Speed Test at 50%, the “Poor” category for the Endurance/Vo2max Test at 62.5%, and the “Very Poor” category for the Static Balance Test at 18.8%. Abstract

Traditional houses in Indonesia have become silent witnesses of how life in the past wascarried out and its influence on the order of life of the people at that time. Likewise with thetraditional Javanese houses of the community of dusun Cemorosewu - Magetan, which havethe characteristics and functionally have specific aims and objectives that influence the processof establishing the building. This study is expected to provide a benefit in the form of thedevelopment of knowledge related to traditional houses in general which can be applied inbuilding architecture. The method used in this writing is descriptive method with non randomsampling technique, which is purposive sampling (purposive sampling technique).From the discussion, it can be seen that the traditional house in dusun Cemorosewu only hastwo clusters, namely griya wingking with dhapur limasan and griya pawon with dhapurkampong where griya pawon is always on the left either the wingking house faces north orsouth. The supporting structure of the roof of the house is supported by 8 (eight) poles so thatit is often referred to as omah soko wolu. Walls are made of split stone and zinc roofing andthere are still cooking stoves that use fuel from firewood along with complementary componentssuch as pogo and sigiran and roof openings in an effort to remove smoke. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/lw.v10i1.2660

Abstract

Pembuatan vertical garden pada jembatan Gandong 1 – Magetan ini awalnya adalahsebagai upaya pemanfaatan pagar jembatan yang ditinggikan akibat seringnya digunakanuntuk bunuh diri dengan cara meloncat dari atas jembatan. Dengan ketinggian yangmencapai lebih dari 25 meter, tempat ini sangat diminati oleh warga yang berpikiran“cekak” untuk mengakhiri hidupnya dengan cara bunuh diri. Tujuan dari penelitian iniadalah untuk mengelompokkan tipe-tipe jembatan yang ada di Magetan Kota dikaitkandengan upaya mencegah pemanfaatan jembatan untuk kegiatan-kegiatan negatif danmerubah wajah jembatan agar lebih berestetika. Yang menjadi pertanyaan awal adalahseberapa penting peninggian pagar jembatan dan pembuatan vertical garden terhadapupaya pengurangan percobaan bunuh diri di Magetan. Metode yang digunakan adalahkualitatif dimana jembatan yang berada di Magetan Kota adalah sebagai sampelpenelitian. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan, keberadaan vertical garden di jembatanGandong 1 selain dapat mencegah upaya bunuh diri dari atas jembatan juga memberikannilai estetika terhadap kawasan kota dan secara tidak langsung telah mendukung tujuanSDGs yaitu “tujuan ke 11.7, yaitu menyediakan akses universal ke ruang aman, inklusifdan dapat diakses, hijau dan masyarakat, khususnya untuk perempuan dan anak-anak,orang tua dan penyandang cacat.”, sehingga sedapat mungkin segera dilakukan dijembatan-jembatan lain dengan ketinggian di atas 25 meter dengan prioritas jembatanGandong 2 dan jembatan Gandong 1. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/lw.v9i2.2703

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the Physical Program of PT.OCK Athletic Club Phase I in 2024. The evaluation method used in this research is Context Input Process Product (CIPP) obtained from a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach and explained in descriptive research.  The research results show that the basic context and objectives are clear. In terms of the input aspect of the program being implemented, human resources, infrastructure and financial sources are adequate. In the process there were significant obstacles with the training schedule, participant character in body posture, age adjustment, management and organization of the ratio of trainers and participants was not optimal, coaching, more precisely, physical training carried out during that period was aimed at finding out the NAJ results (Final Score Physical) data has been obtained. From the product data, the existing results become a benchmark for Physical Program. PT. OCK Athletic Club Phase I in 2024 to further increase the duties and responsibilities of PT. OCK Athletic Club to improve Physical Program development.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance satellite communication technology learning facilities at the Indonesian Civil Aviation Polytechnic Curug (PPIC) through the installation of a VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) system in the Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) Laboratory. VSAT was selected due to its ability to provide connectivity independently of conventional cable infrastructure, making it highly relevant for the practical needs of students and cadets in the field of communication technology. The activities included an explanation of ground-based satellite systems, installation of satellite modems, network system configuration, and training on basic usage and maintenance for lecturers, lab technicians, and students of the communication engineering program. The results showed that with the satellite connectivity now available in the PPIC laboratory, practical training in communication particularly for students in the Air Navigation Engineering Study Program, is now supported, and participants demonstrated an increased understanding of VSAT-based satellite communication systems
