Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of instilling religious and moral values in children to protect them from the threat of moral degradation that occurs along with modernization. To achieve this goal, one of the approaches used is learning to use motion media and songs. This study aims to discover the stages passed and the benefits of using motion media and songs in learning to instill religious and moral values in early childhood. The type of research used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The location of this research is in Al-Hikmah Kindergarten and Al-Quds Kindergarten, Samarinda City. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a single-site analysis by condensing data, making data displays, and verifying and drawing conclusions. The results showed that at TK Al-Hikmah, the planning stage was carried out by recruiting teachers who were competent and had a strong Islamic background. The implementation stage is carried out by singing songs about getting to know angels, getting to know the 25 Prophets, and getting to know the obligatory nature of Allah. The results obtained in the kindergarten are forming new positive behaviors or habits in children. As for the Al-Quds Kindergarten, the planning stage is carried out by strictly selecting teachers and preparing songs to be sung with children. The implementation stage is carried out by singing songs that recognize body parts and prepositions in Arabic and clap ablution. The perceived benefits are that it can stimulate children's motor movements and help to introduce religious and moral aspects to children.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of educational technology in the process of transformation of the madrasah. The aim is to understand the impact of the use of technology in madrasah education, as well as to give recommendations to improve the effectiveness of its implementation. The research focuses on how technology can be used to enrich learning processes, improve administrative efficiency, and support distance learning. The method used in this research is the method of literature study, i.e. by collecting, analyzing, and concluding various literary sources related to research topics. These data sources include scientific articles, journals, books, research reports, and other relevant online documentation. The results of this study show that the use of technology in madrasah education has a significant impact on improving the quality of learning and wider access to learning resources. However, the research also found challenges in its implementation, including the uneven technological infrastructure and the need for technological training for teachers.

Abstract

Menghafal Al-Qur’an hakikatnya telah dimudahkan oleh Allah SWT bagi yang bersungguh-sungguh, hal tersebut ditegaskan di Al-Qur’an surah Al-Qamar ayat 17. Tetapi pada prosesnya justru pelaksanaan program tahfidz Ma’had Al-Jami’ah mengalami beberapa dinamika dan problematika. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika pelaksanaan program tahfidz di Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris (UINSI) Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan field research. Sumber data diambil dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung dan terlibat dalam kegiatan tersebut maka dapat diketahui bahwa problematika yang terjadi disebabkan oleh dua faktor : Pertama faktor internal yaitu kurang disiplin, kurang murajaah, lemah bacaan bin-nadzor, tidak memiliki latar belakang menghafal Al-Qur’an. Kedua faktor eksternal disebabkan oleh alokasi waktu yang minim, sarana dan prasana terbatas, lingkungan kurang kondusif, administrasi program belum tersusun secara sistematis. Maka solusi yang dapat ditawarkan yaitu dengan membuat tata tertib secara sistematis dan tertulis, sistem seleksi diperketat, mengajukan anggaran untuk sarana dan prasarana, menyiapkan asrama khusus penghafal Al-Qur’an, membuat administrasi program secara sistematis.

Abstract

Setiap anak berhak untuk mendapatkan bimbingan dan arahan yang berkenaan denganpembentukan sikap, karakter dan akhlak mulia, setiap orang tua wajib mendidik mereka berkenaan dengan hal itu agar mereka benar-benar dapat menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran orang tua dalam mendidik anaknya dalam tinjauan atau perspektif Alqur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka dengan mengacu pada Alqur’an, buku dan jurnal yang berkenaan dengan pendidikan anak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Anak dalam perspektif Alquran dipandang memiliki kemuliaannya tersendiri, ia lahir dalam keadaan bersih, suci dan sangat berharga bagi orang tuanya melebihi harta apapun. Adapun dalam mendidik anak perspektif Alqur’an dapat mengacu pada kisah Luqman dalam mendidik anaknya yang diabadikan dalam surah Luqman ayat 13-18 yang berisi tentang bagaimana mendidik anak utamanya yang berkenaan dengan aqidah, akhlak dan hubungan sosial dengan orang lain.

Abstract

The digital era presents both challenges and opportunities in the process of teacher professional development, particularly in integrating technology and pedagogy to improve the quality of learning. This study aims to identify effective strategies used by teachers to develop digital and pedagogical skills within a madrasah education environment, focusing on a case study at MAN Insan Cendekia Paser, East Kalimantan. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers and support staff related to professional development. The findings indicate that effective strategies include practice-based technology training, teacher collaboration in working groups, and institutional support through digital-based policies. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and technical skill constraints remain. This study concludes that digital-based professional development in madrasahs can be optimized through sustained institutional support and increased technology accessibility. The recommendations from this research are expected to serve as a guide for other madrasahs in implementing teacher professional development in the digital era. Abstrak Era digital menghadirkan tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam proses pengembangan profesional guru, khususnya dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dan pedagogi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi efektif yang digunakan guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan digital dan pedagogis di lingkungan pendidikan madrasah, dengan studi kasus di MAN Insan Cendekia Paser, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan staf pendukung terkait pengembangan profesional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang efektif mencakup pelatihan teknologi berbasis praktik, kolaborasi antar guru dalam kelompok kerja, dan dukungan institusional melalui kebijakan berbasis digital. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur digital dan kendala keterampilan teknis. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan profesional berbasis digital di madrasah dapat dioptimalkan melalui dukungan berkelanjutan dari pihak institusi dan peningkatan aksesibilitas teknologi. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi madrasah lainnya dalam mengimplementasikan pengembangan profesional guru di era digital.

Abstract

Children are a brilliant age or the age at which children are currently able to digest all the information usually obtained from the general environment, and early childhood is also known as the golden age. At this age, children's habituation in strict quality development must be carried out consistently, which will be the tendency of children later into adulthood. Children are a gift and a mandate entrusted by Allah SWT to His servants who will be held accountable by Allah SWT in the hereafter. This paper aims to make parents aware of their role in educating children in teaching prayer. The study in this paper uses the Library Research method. The result of this study is that the family is the most important place where children can get their first education. The child's personality and character are first formed in the family environment, parents should have a concept in educating children, namely Religious and Moral Education. Which is the teaching of prayer that refers to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping the character of students and improving the learning achievement of grade VIII students at MTs Nashirul As'adiyah. The background of this research is the importance of character formation and academic achievement as an indicator of educational success, especially through PAI learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were PAI teachers and grade VIII students. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that PAI teachers have a strategic role in shaping the character of students through example, habituation, and delivery of applicable religious materials. In addition, PAI learning activities that are integrated with moral and spiritual values have a positive impact on improving student learning achievement. Thus, Islamic Religious Education contributes significantly in shaping religious, disciplined, and responsible character as well as in encouraging students to achieve better achievements.

Abstract

Pesantren has a significant influence on the development of santris’ personality and cultural tolerance. However, the flow of globalization through digital media and the influence of foreign cultures shake santris' preferences and threatened local wisdom. This paper aims to analyze the integration between local policies in halaqah knowledge acquisition and its advancement of the cultural tolerance of santri. With an interpretive research paradigm, this study employs the case study method and focuses on several Pesantrens in Benua Etam, East Kalimantan. The data were obtained through interviews with informants, including pesantren leaders, ustadz, and santri and observations, and documentation. Validation techniques include source triangulation, member checking, trail auditing, and peer debriefing. This study reveals that the incorporation of indigenous knowledge within the framework of halaqah was a significant factor in the study's outcomes, significantly increasing the tolerance of santris, as reflected by a 50.92% increase in participation in local traditions and higher acceptance of cultural diversity. Santri who follow culture-based halaqahs demonstrate openness, recognition of community traditions, and the ability to bridge cultural differences without compromising Islamic principles. This study concludes that the culturally based halaqah model is effective in maintaining an inclusive Islamic identity while facing the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the values of local wisdom can be integrated in character education to form a generation with integrity, especially in the midst of the increasingly strong influence of globalization. This research also seeks to explore the relevance of local wisdom values in the context of education in Indonesia, and how it can support the formation of students' character. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study research (library research). Data was collected through a literature review of various relevant scientific journals, books, and articles. This study examines works that discuss character education, local wisdom, and the impact of globalization on education, as well as identify integration models that can be applied in the character education curriculum in Indonesia. The results of the study show that local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation, discipline, and honesty can be integrated in character education to strengthen student morale. This integration helps students understand and appreciate their culture, as well as build integrity. Key challenges include the influence of globalization and the lack of educators' understanding of local wisdom in the existing educational curriculum. This study introduces a new model to integrate local wisdom in character education, which can be applied in various schools in Indonesia. This research also contributes to the development of a character education curriculum based on local culture, as well as offers new insights to align education with traditional values that are relevant in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Due to the large spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia, the learning process is only limited to face-to-face interactions in locations with a high incidence of infection spread. To accommodate students who attend face-to-face in class or who attend online, teachers can take advantage of online learning media using hybrid learning. The purpose of this study is to explain how to use online learning resources in PAI subjects using a hybrid learning approach. This research is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach with data sourced from the library as a source of information, then the data is analyzed using content analysis. The results of this study indicate that PAI teachers can take advantage of various online learning media platforms, including WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and Zoom Meeting. Teachers can use accessible capabilities to deliver information or materials, monitor attendance, and evaluate students participating in online learning.
