Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of Kirkpatrick's evaluation in case-based statistics courses based on Case Method at the Department of Building Engineering. Case-based lectures train students to solve problems in the field of statistics by applying higher-order thinking such as: finding solutions to problems, thinking critically, logically, reflectively, metacognitively and creatively. The evaluation of the Kirkpatrick model is carried out through four levels, and each level is assessed using a different tool. The implementation of Kirkpatrick's evaluation consists of 4 levels, namely: reaction, learning, behavior, and impact. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample is 56 students majoring in Engineering Building Engineering, State University of Medan. The research data was collected using a questionnaire, assessment and documentation. The questionnaire used has gone through reliability testing with Crombach's Alpha. The assessment was conducted to obtain student performance in the form of learning processes and behavior change. Documentation is obtained through the resulting lecture products. The results showed that Kirkpatrick's evaluation model in statistics course lectures was very effective in revealing the quality of learning. At the reaction evaluation level, students gave a positive response with satisfactory qualifications to case-based statistics lectures. The results of the evaluation at the learning level obtained the difference in learning outcomes on students' thinking abilities of 7.59 with a significance of 0.010. The results of the evaluation at the behavioral level, students have various competencies obtained such as: instrument preparation, instrument analysis, research data processing, SPSS application and interpretation of SPSS analysis results. The results of the evaluation at the impact level are that students are able to compile instruments, obtain and process data used to compose a final project. Based on the criteria for the success of Kirkpatrick's evaluation performance, the implementation of case-based statistics lectures was very successful. Kirkpatrick's evaluation model is able to describe evaluation results that cover all aspects of lectures so that it is worthy of being recommended as an evaluation model for lectures

Abstract

This study was conducted with three objectives, namely: 1) to determine the difference in the influence of guided inquiry learning model and discovery model on student’s learning outcomes in science subjects on the human excretory system in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kualuh Selatan ; 2) to determine the difference in the influence of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles on student’s learning outcomes in science subjects on the human excretory system in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kualuh Selatan ; and 3) to determine the interaction between the two learning models and learning styles in influencing student’s learning outcomes in science subjects on the human excretory system in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kualuh Selatan. The approach used in this study was a quantitative approach with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design with a 2x3 factorial treatment level. The research sample consisted of all students in class VIII1, totaling 28 students, and class VIII4, totaling 30 students, with the sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The results of the study indicate that, firstly, students who were taught using the guided inquiry learning model performed better or excelled compared to students taught using the discovery learning model. Secondly, students who were taught using the visual learning style performed better or excelled compared to students taught using the auditory or kinesthetic learning styles. Thirdly, there is an interaction between the two learning models and learning styles on students' learning outcomes in science subjects on the human excretory system.

Abstract

HOTS is a fundamental skill that prospective workers must possess. Vocational High Schools, as workforce printers, must pay attention to the HOTS of prospective graduates so that they can be absorbed in the world of work. However, Vocational High Schools experience many obstacles in forming prospective HOTS graduates. One of them is the teacher's ability to prepare HOTS questions. Based on the results of initial observations, similar obstacles were also faced by SMKN 14 Medan and SMKS Al-Fattah. The purpose of this activity is to provide training on the preparation of HOTS questions to teachers in SMK. The activity method used presentation, discussion, demonstration, and assignment techniques. Activities were grouped into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation—the results of activities run effectively by the plan. The participants participated in the activity enthusiastically. The results of the FGD showed an increase in the ability of teachers to prepare HOTS questions. The skills of preparing HOTS vocational teachers still need to be considered because HOTS is one of the key skills of prospective workers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning model Jigsaw and literacy ability on students learning outcomes on the material of right, obligations and responsibilities in the 5th grade of primary school 04043 Kabanjahe for year academic 2020/2021. The type of this research is quasi experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. The population of this research is all the fifth grade students of primary school 04043 Kabanjahe with total population 60 students. The selection of sample is conducted by total sampling technique that is from two existing classess as a whole as sample. Thus, the sample is devide into two classes of VA and VB. The determination of the class for implementation of the learning model was determined by class VA that consisted of 30 students for class which are taught with conventional learning model, while the VB was taught with Jigsaw type learning model. The instrument of this study were using multiple choice with total 30 questions. The instrument of literal ability was in the form of essay with total questions 15 items. All of instruments were valid and reliable. The data of this research were analyzed by t test. The result showed that the learning outcomes of Civic learer who were taught using model of jigsaw learning gain the higher score than the conventional one. The result of learning Civics of students who have a positive literacy ability is higher than the learning outcomes of students who have a negatif literacy ability. There is the effect of different learning model on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar telah menjadi tren yang signifikan. Salah satu aspek penting dari tren ini adalah penggunaan e-book sebagai bahan ajar berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren terkait penggunaan e-book dalam konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Analisis Bibliometrik merupakan pemetaan berdasarkan tren riset penelitian yang menggunakan analisis dan pengolahan meta data. Maka dari itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif sistematis, Meta data pada penelitian ini bersumber dari Google  Scholar dan dianalisis menggunakan software Publish or Perish. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 5 cluster pengklasifikasian melalui software VOSviewer . pada perhitungan jumlah sitasi dari artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 1535. Jumlah sitasi per tahun sebanyak 69,77 dan jumlah sitasi per paper 7,68. H-indeks dari keseluruhan artikel adalah 18 sedangkan G-indeks dari seluruh artikel adalah 36. Maka hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kajian mengenai pembelajaran berbasis e-book sebagai salah satu bahan ajar berbasis digital disekolah dasar masih sangat terbatas, artinya penelitian mengenai hal tersebut dapat menjadi sebuah peluang untuk melakukan penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

The learning resources teachers use are inadequate, making students bored, and the absence of innovative planning to improve teaching materials motivates researchers to develop teaching materials. This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of folklore teaching materials assisted by digital comics. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 development stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this research were 22 students in class 3B of SD Negeri 101764 Bandar Klippa. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the research show 1) The development of folklore teaching materials assisted by digital comics uses the ADDIE development model, 2) The feasibility test by material experts and the design experts is at a very decent qualification, 3) The practicality test carried out by the class 4B teacher was at a very practical qualification, 4) The effectiveness test showed very effective results as seen from the pre-test results which experienced an increase in the post-test results in each lesson 1, 2 and 3 on students' writing and speaking abilities. AbtsrakSumber belajar yang digunakan guru kurang memadai membuat peserta didik menjadi bosan serta tidak adanya perencanaan inovasi untuk memperbaiki bahan ajar memotivasi peneliti untuk melakukan mengembangkan materi ajar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui validitas, praktikalitas, efektivitas Materi ajar cerita rakyat berbantuan komik digital. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu : Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 3B SD Negeri 101764 Bandar Klippa yang berjumlah 22 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pengembangan Materi Ajar cerita rakyat berbantuan komik digital ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, 2) Uji kelayakan oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak, 3) Uji kepraktisan yang dilakukan oleh guru kelas 4B berada pada kualifikasi sangat praktis, 4) Uji keefektifan menunjukkan hasil sangat efektif terlihat dari hasil pre-test yang mengalami peningkatan pada hasil post-test disetiap pembelajaran 1, 2 dan 3 pada kemampuan menulis dan berbicara peserta didik.Kata Kunci: Cerita rakyat; komik digital; materi ajar; pengembangan

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan kepada tenaga pendidik di Yayasan Riad Madani dalam penerapan Computer-Based Test (CBT) sebagai metode evaluasi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam proses evaluasi pendidikan yang lebih efisien dan akurat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan penggunaan perangkat lunak CBT, simulasi ujian, dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terhadap penggunaan CBT, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman peserta dari 55% pada pre-test menjadi 85% pada post-test. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap penggunaan CBT juga sangat positif, dengan 85% siswa memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap pengalaman ujian berbasis komputer. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang diidentifikasi, terutama terkait keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi seperti jumlah perangkat komputer dan kualitas jaringan internet. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CBT di Yayasan Riad Madani berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran. Rekomendasi ke depan mencakup peningkatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan lanjutan bagi guru untuk memperdalam penggunaan teknologi ini.

Abstract

Implementing the PBL Model using the Visit Home approach requires more time, so it becomes a challenge, mainly if learning time is limited. This research aims to analyze the differences in social studies learning outcomes for students taught using the project-based learning model assisted by the home visit method compared to the online learning model. This type of research is experimental research. The sample in this study was class V students consisting of 2 class groups, namely V-A with 27 students and class V-B with 27 students. Data collection methods use tests and questionnaires. The data collection instruments are questionnaires and test questions. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The research results show differences in social studies learning outcomes for students taught using the project-based learning model assisted by the home visit method compared to online media. Secondly, there are differences in social studies learning outcomes between students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Third, there is an interaction between learning approaches and learning styles on students' social studies learning outcomes. It was concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by the home visit method could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah memberikan dampak signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, terutama dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Penerapan teknologi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran serta membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan pendekatan pedagogis yang sesuai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk menganalisis berbagai sumber terpercaya terkait pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Kajian ini mencakup aspek pemanfaatan teknologi, hakikat media pembelajaran, peran media berbasis teknologi, serta tantangan dalam implementasinya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pendidikan berfungsi sebagai alat bantu dalam penyampaian materi secara lebih visual, interaktif, dan adaptif, meningkatkan motivasi serta hasil belajar siswa. Teknologi juga memungkinkan personalisasi pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu. Selain itu, media berbasis teknologi berperan sebagai penyalur dan penyedia informasi yang memperjelas konsep abstrak. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan kurangnya kompetensi guru masih menjadi hambatan. Diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak guna mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Dengan perencanaan yang tepat, teknologi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan menghadapi tantangan global di era digital.

Abstract

Evaluation of the sewing skills training program at the Zere AMIN Course and Training Institute (LKP) aims to assess the effectiveness of program implementation using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. This study uses a descriptive evaluative approach with mixed methods, namely qualitative and quantitative. The subjects of the study consisted of instructors and training participants, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The evaluation results show that this program is classified as very adequate in all evaluation components. The program is considered relevant to the needs of participants (Context), has adequate facilities, curriculum, and instructors (Input), implements an effective learning process (Process), and is able to improve participants' sewing skills and encourage them to be economically independent (Product). These findings indicate that the sewing training program at LKP Zere AMIN has succeeded in achieving its learning objectives and has a positive impact on community economic empowerment.
