Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, persepsi guru tentang komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah, dan kompensasi terhadap komitmen afektif guru tk kecamatan medan perjuangan, Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Kualitatif Teknik analisis hubungan antar variabel adalah bentuk analisis jalur (path analysis Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru TK sekecamatan Medan Perjuangan yang berjumlah  140 orang, sampelnya sebanyak 103 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1. Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Kompensasi di TK Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. 2. Persepsi Guru Tentang Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Kompensasi di TK Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. 3. Kecerdasan Emosional berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen afektif guru di TK Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. 4. Persepsi Guru Tentang Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen afektif guru  di TK Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. 5. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran HOM dan RME terhadap kemampuan pemahaman relasional, peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman relasional siswa yang diajarkan dengan HOM dan RME, pengaruh model pembelajaran HOM dan RME terhadap mathematics anxiety. Penelitian berbentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan Two Group Pretest-Posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan pemahaman relasional, angket mathematics anxiety dan lembar pengamatan. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh HOM lebih baik dibandingkan RME terhadap kemampuan pemahaman relasional, hal ini berdasarkan thitung (=3,081) lebih besar dari ttabel (=1,671), peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman relasional siswa yang diajarkan dengan HOM lebih tinggi dari RME, hal ini berdasarkan gain score dan karakteristik model. HOM menggunakan alat peraga yang dieksplor, sedangkan RME menggunakan masalah kontekstual berbentuk cerita, pengaruh HOM lebih baik dibandingkan RME terhadap mathematics anxiety, hal ini berdasarkan thitung (=-1,219) lebih kecil dari ttabel (=1,671). Abstract

Mathematics learning outcomes obtained by students at least describe the achievement of learning objectives to be achieved. But the learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 102119 Nagaraja are still relatively low with a low level of student motivation so that it influences the teaching and learning process. With one alternative that can help using the Realistic Mathematical Approach (PMR) can improve student learning outcomes and motivation to learn mathematics. Therefore, this study aims to examine the Effect of Realistic Mathematical Approaches on Learning Outcomes of Mathematics; Effect of Realistic Mathematical Approaches on Student Learning Motivation; and Great influence of learning approaches on student learning outcomes in mathematics and student motivation. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 102119 Nagaraja Serdang Bedagai, totaling 54 students. The instrument used consisted of a test of learning outcomes and a motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed with the Simple Regression Analysis Test. Based on the results of the analysis the results of the study are obtained that the Realistic Mathematics Approach gives an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 102119 Nagaraja Serdang Bedagai because the value of Sig. equal to 0,00 <0,05 with t count 7,158> t table 2,064; The Realistic Mathematics Approach does not have an effect on student motivation because the value of Sig. of 0.84> 0.05 with t count 0.193 <t table 2.064; and The magnitude of the effect of the learning approach on mathematics learning outcomes 68.1% and the effect of the learning approach on learning motivation 0.2% while the remaining 31.7% is influenced by factors other than the learning approach.

Abstract

This study aimed to know of teacher’s profesional competence at SMK (vocational scholl) in the field of building construction. Before to measure of teacher’s profesional competence, developing a standard instrument. The study was conducted in two phases: a rational try-out through experts’ assessment, followed by an empirical try-out. The first phase incorporated 20 experts; i.e. university lecturers of building construction. In the second phase, a competence test was administered to 276 teachers in Medan. Construct validity was examined by a factor analysis technique. The results indicated that the indicators fitted the construct; each indicator had a factor loading higher than 0.30. Varimax rotation resulted in a decrease in the factors of competence test, compared to the previously theorized, as profesional dimension had 10 factors. The reliability of the instrument was evaluated by KR-20 formula, and the coefficient 0.858 Therefore, it can be concluded that the instrument can be used to measure the competence of building construction teachers of SMK. The result study was teacher’s profesional competence at SMK in Medan repair to improved, therefore requar to add of teacher’s knowladge in their field. ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru SMK bidang keahliah teknik bangunan. Sebelum pengukuran kompetensi profesional guru, dikembangkan tes yang standar. Proses pengembangan tes dilakukan dengan dua fase yaitu melalui expert jugment oleh ahli dan ujicoba empiris. Pertama, dilibatkan 20 orang ahli yang terdiri dari: doktor evalusi, dosen teknik bangunan, dan guru. Kedua, ujicoba dilakukan pada 276 orang guru bidang keahliah teknik bangunan di Medan. Validitas konstruk tes dihitung dengan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang dibentuk oleh kompetensi profesional cukup baik. Setiap indikator memiliki loading faktor diatas 0.30. Dengan metode rotasi varimax diperoleh 10 faktor yang membentuk kompetensi profesinal guru SMK. Reliabiulitas tes dihitung dengan rumus KR-20, dan diperoleh koefisien reabilitas sebesar 0,858. Hasil perhitungan menyimpulkan bahwa tes yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kompetensi profesional guru SMK. Hasil pengukuran diperoleh kompetensi profesional guru SMK bidang keahliah teknik bangunan di Medan masuk pada kategori perlu perbaikan, sehingga perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan guru di bidangnya.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages the Teaching Faculty to produce Pre-service graduates who master professional and pedagogical competences enhanced by Information Communication Technology skills. This development research aims to develop evaluation instruments for digital-based education courses, especially evaluation. The ADDIE model is implemented to compile lesson plans and digital-based evaluation instruments. The research was conducted in five stages, namely the stages of analysis, material design, development, and implementation. The results of implementing digital-based evaluation instruments show efficiency and effectiveness for lecturers because the kahoot application provides direct reports for feedback and respondents are very motivated to answer the next point better and accurately. Respondents were impressed by the kahoot application with text, images, time allocation and also music, it was more attractive for respondents to focus more and think faster. Likewise with google forms with its efficiency and effectiveness for students and lecturers because it immediately reports immediately after the complete answer is submitted along with the output ranking. This research implies the importance of considering the use of digital-based evaluation instruments for better, more efficient, more effective feedback and follow-up for future evaluation courses.

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the process of developing enrichment books in the learning phase of the school literacy movement. The feasibility of enrichment books on the school literacy movement for students in class VI with the theme of saving sentient beings, and describing the use of enrichment books in the school literacy movement of the learning phase. This study refers to the Borg & Gall development model. The results showed that: (1) the development of enrichment books is based on research and gathering preliminary information, planning, initial product development, validation of material content, design and language, product revisions, assessments with suggestions of class teachers and students, revisions, individual trials, revisions back, small group trials, next revisions, limited field trials, revisions more until the product is valid and suitable for used; (2) the results of the material expert validation included the feasibility of the contents with an average of 90.62% on the “very good” criteria, the feasibility of serving with an average of 95% on the “very good” criteria, and the aspect of graphic with an average of 100% on the “very good” criteria, the average of all aspects is 95.20% on the “very good” criteria, design expert validation with an average of 90.47% on the “very good” criteria, and linguist validation 82% on the “very good” criteria, and (3) the use of enrichment books fulfills the requirements and effectively used as reading material. The results of teacher assessment responses for the enrichment books developed have an average total percentage of 907, 32% with the criteria of "very good". The average percentage results of all limited field tests were 92,58% with the criteria of "very good".

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the validity of learning tools developed using a contextual approach in improving the high-order thinking skills of students of SDN 047179 Kutagerat; know the practicality of the learning tools being developed; know the effectiveness of learning tools; and knowing the increase in students' higher order thinking skills using learning tools based on a contextual approach. This study uses the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. VaThe lidity of learning media used descriptive statistical analysis. Data analysis to find out how the increase in the score of increasing student learning outcomes can be obtained from the normalized gain index data. The results showed that: (1) The results of the validator's assessment of the four mathematics learning tools based on the contextual approach that had been developed were as follows: (a) the linguist's assessment obtained an overall average of 93%; (b) the design expert's assessment obtained an overall average of 93.13%; (c) the material expert's assessment obtained an overall average of 96%. The results of the validation of the four learning tools by the validator are in the criteria of "very feasible" to be used in the field; (2) The results of the response of the fifth grade teacher at SDN 047179 Kutagerat to the learning tools obtained an average percentage of 89%. The result of the average percentage of the overall field test on student responses is86%with "very good" criteria. This means that the learning tools are practical and can meet the demands of learning needs; (3) after learning using learning tools obtained on average 92, it was concluded that the students' abilities experienced a high significant increase and reached the KKM as expected; and (4) the average N-Gain gain is 0.718. The average is categorized as high because if 0.30 <g <0.70 it is categorized as high. It was concluded that students who use mathematics content learning tools based on a contextual approach in the learning process can improve learning outcomes or students' higher order thinking skills in the fraction count operations material.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the online learning implementation activities at the UNIMED Faculty of Engineering to determine the various weaknesses and constraints. The research approach used is the CIPP model of Stufflebeam. And it focused on the content/material, facilities, processes, and outputs of online learning. Data were obtained from UNIMED Faculty of Engineering students through online questionnaires. The results showed that 1) the availability of learning resources is still low, as a content aspect, 2) network strength is weak at the input aspect, 3) the helpdesk service is lacking at the process aspect, and 4) the online effectiveness is low at the product aspect. On average, out of these four components, the lowest is online learning tools. In conclusion, this research found that learning facilities contributed to online learning effectiveness at the UNIMED Faculty of Engineering.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan bahan ajar yang mampu memfasilitasi dan membimbing mahasiswa untuk belajar mandiri, memudahkan mahasiswa untuk menemukan dan memahami konsep dengan benar sebagai latar belakang penelitian ini. Buku-buku teks belum dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami dan mengingat konsep-konsep matematika dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa berbasis penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery learning) pada materi matriks dikembangkan. Setelah LKM dikembangkan maka dilihat efektifitas penggunaan LKM tersebut pada proses perkuliahan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik bangunan universitas negeri medan yang mengampu matakuliah matematika teknik dasar. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh bahwa persentase posttest lebih besar dari persentase pretest ( 66,67 > 30, 95% ) dan berada pada kriteria Baik. Ini berarti bahwa bahan ajar (LKM) berbasis penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery learning dinyatakan efektif untuk digunakan.Kata Kunci: Efektifitas, Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa, Penemuan TerbimbingABSTRACT The need for teaching materials that are able to facilitate and guide students for independent learning makes it easier for students to find and understand concepts correctly as the background of this research. Text books have not been able to help students understand and remember mathematical concepts well. Therefore, a concept of “Student Work Sheet” (SWS) based on guided discovery learning on matrix material was developed. After the SWS has been developed, it has shown the effectiveness of the use of the SWS in the learning process. The subjects of this study were students of Building Engineering Education Study Program at the State University of Medan that were able to study basic engineering mathematics courses. Based on the analysis it was found that the percentage of post-test was greater than the percentage of pretest (66.67% > 30.95%) and was filed in the Good criteria. This means that SWS based on guided discovery learning is declared effective for use.Keywords: Effectiveness, Guided Discovery Learning, Student Worksheet

Abstract

Building Construction is a compulsory subject in the Building Engineering Education Study Program which is expected in this course to have the ability to design systems and infrastructure in the civil engineering field as needed by considering various constraints such as economic, environmental, health, and security constraints. Covid-19 harms life so the world of education also wants to participate in breaking the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The subsidized houses that have been built have met the existing requirements, although they are not perfect, they can still be said to be livable houses. However, a serious problem is that after being given a lot of people added the initial building but did not meet the requirements. This development research produces project-based teaching materials products. This study uses the development of Borg and Gall with the stages of analyzing potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, revision, and reporting. The teaching materials developed contain the characteristics and designs of disaster response houses adapted to the Building Construction course material and are project in nature. The results of the study obtained that the teaching materials developed were suitable for use as teaching materials in the process of learning activities based on the overall average score of the material expert aspect of 3.6 and the media expert 3.6 very good category
