Abstract

Modernization and the development of digital technologies provide great opportunities for UMKM to expand their market through e-commerce. However, UMKM Puri Aren Cair still faces obstacles in its digital marketing strategy so that online sales are not optimal despite having a potential flagship product in the national and international markets. The purpose of this devotional activity is to increase the digital literacy and marketing capacity of partners through training in copywriting, SEO, as well as the professional use of e-commerce. The method of the activity was implemented on a participatory basis in July 2025 involving ten employees of UMKM Puri Aren Cair. The stages of the activities included socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring, evaluation, and sustainability of the program. Participants attended a two-day workshop focused on copywriting strategies, SEO, and managing online stores in the marketplace. The results of the activity show a significant improvement in the digital literacy of the participants, the skills of managing online stores, as well as the ability to optimize promotional content based on digital marketing strategies. Implementing digital strategies through e-commerce has the potential to expand market reach, strengthen branding, and increase sales. In conclusion, this dedicated activity is successful in addressing the main problem of the partners, namely the limitations of the digital marketing strategy, by providing practical solutions that support the improvement of the competitiveness of UMKM in the era of industry 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika hierarki kebutuhan tokoh dalam novel Sisi Tergelap Surga karya Brian Khrisna dengan menggunakan perspektif psikologi humanistik Abraham Maslow. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh representasi kehidupan masyarakat marginal dalam novel yang memperlihatkan berbagai konflik psikologis tokoh akibat tekanan sosial dan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data penelitian berupa kutipan narasi, dialog, dan deskripsi yang merepresentasikan kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, sosial, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri tokoh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pembacaan intensif dan pencatatan kutipan relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif-interpretatif berdasarkan kerangka hierarki kebutuhan Maslow. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar tokoh hanya mampu memenuhi kebutuhan fisiologis, sementara kebutuhan keamanan dan penghargaan tidak terpenuhi akibat kemiskinan struktural, stigma sosial, dan keterbatasan akses ekonomi. Tokoh Juleha, Gofar, dan Rini menunjukkan kegagalan mencapai aktualisasi diri karena hambatan pada kebutuhan dasar tersebut. Sebaliknya, tokoh Danang dan Pak Badut berhasil mencapai aktualisasi diri melalui tanggung jawab sosial dan pengorbanan terhadap keluarga meskipun beberapa kebutuhan dasar tidak terpenuhi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan hierarki kebutuhan dalam konteks masyarakat marginal tidak selalu berlangsung secara linear, melainkan dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang membentuk motivasi hidup tokoh.

Abstract

The innovation of FlipHtml5 digital-based teaching materials integrated with the local wisdom of Riau traditional houses for VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir is an effort to improve student learning outcomes, especially on descriptive text material in grade VII Indonesian language learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and feasibility of Fliphtml5 digital-based descriptive text teaching materials integrated with the local wisdom of Riau Traditional Houses for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The sample used in this study was 32 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir. Observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and student learning outcomes test sheets are some of the data collection techniques in this study. The instrument used to assess the feasibility of teaching materials in this study is a product validation questionnaire for material experts, design experts, teacher responses, student responses as well as a pre-test and post-test for students. The results of the feasibility of teaching materials Validation of material experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 97.5% with the criteria “Very Feasible”, design experts obtained a feasibility percentage of 97.3% with the criteria “Very Feasible”. The feasibility results of teaching materials obtained from the results of teacher responses amounted to 97.6% with the criteria “Very Feasible” and the results of the feasibility of teaching materials obtained by the teacher.

Abstract

The study of literary works in educational contexts plays an important role in developing students’ analytical and interpretative skills, particularly in understanding intrinsic elements of fiction. However, the selection of appropriate literary texts that align with curriculum demands and students’ characteristics remains a challenge. This research aims to describe the intrinsic elements of the novel Edensor by Andrea Hirata and to analyze its relevance to teaching review texts of fiction for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 23 Medan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a structuralism approach, focusing on the analysis of intrinsic elements, including theme, characters and characterization, plot, setting, point of view, language style, and moral message. The primary data source is the novel Edensor, while supporting data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 63 eighth-grade students. The results show that Edensor contains complete and interconnected intrinsic elements that construct a coherent narrative. The main theme revolves around the struggle to achieve dreams through education, supported by strong character development, a progressive plot, varied settings, first-person point of view, aesthetic language style, and meaningful moral values. Furthermore, the questionnaire results indicate a relevance level of 82.4%, categorized as highly relevant. This suggests that the novel aligns well with the learning objectives of reviewing fiction texts in the Merdeka Curriculum and effectively supports students’ understanding of intrinsic literary elements. In conclusion, Edensor by Andrea Hirata is suitable as an alternative teaching material for learning to review fiction texts in eighth grade, as it meets both theoretical and empirical criteria and aligns with students’ learning needs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing interactive negotiation text teaching materials assisted by Scratch media for 10th grade students, describe the form of developing interactive negotiation text teaching materials assisted by Scratch media for 10th grade students at SMK PAB 2 Helvetia, and describe the feasibility of interactive negotiation text teaching materials assisted by Scratch media for 10th grade students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model, which uses five stages in accordance with the needs, capabilities, and scope of the study. The results of this study indicate that 1) the process of developing interactive negotiation teaching materials using Scratch media for tenth-grade students began with an analysis of potential and problems through observation and interviews with teachers. The next stage was data collection, which was carried out through needs analysis, product design, and product validation by subject matter experts and media experts. The next stage was product revision to produce learning media products. 2) The suitability of teaching materials declared suitable based on the results of validation by subject matter experts covering aspects of content suitability, presentation, and language, which obtained a score of 97.91%, and the results of media expert validation covering aspects of appearance and programming, which obtained a score of 81.25%. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the interactive negotiation text teaching material assisted by Scratch media in grade X falls into the "highly suitable" category for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process, form, and feasibility of the product of Educaplay-assisted biographical text teaching materials for grade X SMK students. The development process uses the Research and Development (R&D) method of the Borg and Gall model which includes the stages of potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation by material experts and media experts, and design revisions. The resulting product is in the form of biographical text teaching materials that are packaged interactively through the Educaplay platform so that they are more interesting and easier for students to understand. The feasibility of the product was determined through expert assessment with a percentage of 91.07% from material experts and 86.3% from media experts, with an average of 88.6% categorized as very feasible. Thus, the developed product is considered suitable for use in Indonesian language learning in grade X SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi perempuan dalam novel Cantik Itu Luka karya Eka Kurniawan melalui pendekatan analisis wacana kritis feminisme Sara Mills. Novel ini menggambarkan tokoh Dewi Ayu sebagai simbol kecantikan yang menjadi kutukan dalam masyarakat patriarki. Melalui penggabungan unsur realisme magis dan sejarah kolonial, novel ini menyuarakan kritik terhadap konstruksi sosial yang menindas perempuan. Kajian ini juga mempertimbangkan relevansi novel dalam kurikulum pendidikan nasional sebagai media pembelajaran literasi kritis dan kesadaran gender. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa novel ini tidak hanya merepresentasikan perempuan sebagai objek, tetapi juga membuka ruang bagi subjek perempuan yang aktif dan reflektif terhadap sistem sosial yang menindas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya eksploitasi narasi kekerasan di media daring yang seringkali mengabaikan etika jurnalistik demi kepentingan komersial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan representasi dramatisasi serta sensasionalisme dalam pemberitaan kasus pembacokan mahasiswi UIN Suska Riau pada media nasional (Detik.com) dan media lokal (Riau Pos). Menggunakan paradigma kritis dengan metode Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Norman Fairclough, penelitian ini membedah wacana melalui tiga dimensi utama: analisis teks (mikro), praktik diskursif (meso), dan praktik sosiokultural (makro). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Detik.com menggunakan strategi linguistik agresif dan hiperbolis untuk mengejar viralitas secara nasional, sementara Riau Pos mengeksploitasi kedekatan emosional masyarakat lokal dengan narasi yang bersifat lebih spekulatif. Kedua media tersebut cenderung menormalisasi kekerasan berbasis gender melalui penggunaan bingkai "cinta ditolak", yang pada akhirnya mengaburkan urgensi isu femisida di lingkungan akademik. Analisis ini juga mengungkap adanya ketidakhadiran suara korban sebagai subjek yang berdaulat dalam teks, di mana media jauh lebih mengutamakan narasi institusional dari pihak kepolisian. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa komodifikasi tragedi kekerasan oleh media massa sangat dipengaruhi oleh struktur pasar digital dan keberadaan ideologi patriarki yang masih sangat dominan di Indonesia.
