Abstract

The strengthening of the PAUD-SD transition requires a collaborative effort from various parties with their respective roles ranging from parents/guardians, teachers, and also the government. As teachers and parents, it is very important to understand the PAUD-SD transition process because it will jointly build children's foundation abilities holistically and gradually since they are at the PAUD level. There are still many parents who do not understand their role in strengthening the PAUD-SD transition and there are still many parents who understand the information that PAUD should not foster literacy and numeracy, while entering primary school education, a calistung test is applied as part of the admission of new students. In addition, parents also understand that learning practices in PAUD are inconsistent, with some PAUD units focusing heavily on literacy skills and memorization, while others are completely anti-pursuit. Based on this phenomenon, the solution offered for this problem is to carry out a parenting program on the role of parents in strengthening a pleasant PAUD-SD Transition. The purpose of this activity is for parents to understand their role in strengthening the PAUD SD transition. The methods for implementing this activity are: (1) Conduct a situation analysis by conducting a dialogue with parents regarding what is done to support children entering elementary school; (2) Design a mentoring program to provide knowledge for parents; (3) Implement Parenting Seminar activities; and (4) Evaluate activities by conducting joint reflections. The result of this activity is that parents understand what parents should do that economic readiness alone is not enough in preparing children to enter elementary school, but must support children from fostering curiosity, emotional development, language use, cognitive development, and general knowledge.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu meningkatkan penyelenggaraan PAUD berkualitas. TK Pusat PAUD Harapan Bangsa Parangloe Kabupaten Gowa sebagai mitra kegiatan mendapatkan dukungan dari masyarakat dan pemerintahan desa. PKM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada sekolah secara berkelanjutan agar dapat membantu TK Pusat PAUD Harapan Bangsa lebih maju dan berdaya saing. Indikator yang disusun berupa kegiatan dan layanan yang dapat menjadi acuan bagi satuan PAUD untuk bergerak bersama dan mengalokasikan sumber daya yang terbatas untuk pencapaian visi PAUD Berkualitas. Sesuai dengan filosofi Merdeka Belajar, indikator ini tetap memberikan ruang kemerdekaan bagi kabupaten atau kota untuk memaknai kualitas yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai di daerahnya. Hasil PKM ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman dan komitmen setelah kegiatan pengabdian pada menjadi 95% terkait layanan PAUD berkualitas, pembelajaran berkualitas merujuk pada kualitas interaksi anak dengan guru dan bahan ajar, pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan, serta kemampuan pedagogik pendidik dalam merencanakan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Bullying remains a latent issue at the elementary school level. This community service program aimed to reduce bullying behavior at SD Pemda Makassar by integrating the policy on Violence Prevention and Handling into teaching and learning activities. The population consisted of 43 fifth-grade students, with 15 students purposively selected as peer ambassadors. Core activities included positive discipline training for teachers, the P5 “Friends Without Fear” project, mentoring for Roots peer ambassadors, and the “Counseling Canteen” service for parents. Evaluation results showed significant improvement across four key components of the program. The participants’ average pre-test score was 61.3, which increased to 86.2 in the post-test. These findings confirm that a collaborative strategy involving teachers, students, and parents can create a safer, more positive learning environment that supports the character development of students.
