Abstract

Religious studies are the study of in-depth religion; in its journey, religious studies are divided into two models: dogmatic and empirical. The difference between the two understandings will lead to a reductive understanding of religion in religious studies and can lead to misunderstandings that lead to conflict. To reduce the complex problems of the dichotomy of religious studies, this article tries to draw lessons from Immanuel Kant's criticism; Immanuel Kant's criticism begins by placing doubts on the thinking of rationalists who take a priori knowledge for granted, but on the other hand, Immanuel Kant still keeps trying to investigate how a priori things as science are possible until in the end Immanuel Kant brings up the decision of a priori synthesis as one of knowledge and succeeds in resolving the disagreement between rationalist and empiricist groups. The design of religious studies must start from a doctrinal and empirical dichotomy, then adopt a synthesis of rationalism and empiricism. As Immanuel Kant has said, both a priori and a posteriori thinking, if they stand alone, each has its weaknesses. Likewise, if they stand alone, the dogmatic model of religious studies and the empirical model will end in a reductive understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the listening skills of the 7th grade students of MTsN 1 Mojokerto in the Arabic language subject. The subjects of this study were all 7th grade students of MTsN 1 Mojokerto, totaling 32 people, there are 14 male students and 16 female students. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 3 cycles according to Mc Taggart's research design. In each cycle consists of 4 stages, planning (planning), implementation of action (acting), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting). Research data obtained during the implementation of the action. The results of the research show that the application of the recitation method can improve student learning outcomes in the Istima material in the address chapter. This is evidenced by the mastery of classical learning in the first cycle of 46%, in the second cycle of 84% while the third cycle is 87%.

Abstract

"البلاغة هي علم من علوم اللغة العربية، وهي تساعد وظيفة اللغة العربية من ناحية جمال عرضها وإدراك معناها، ومناسبة أسلوبها لمقتضى الحال، والبلاغة تدرس في كثير من المدارس والجامعات والمعاهد الإسلامية، وهي تعتبر من المواد الصعبة حتى لا يحبها بعض دارسيها بل بعض مدرسيها. وهذه الظاهرة، تظهر الأسئلة وهي: ١) ما حقيقة البلاغة؟ ٢) ما العلاقة بينها وبين اللغة العربية؟ ٣) ما وجه الحاجة إلى دراسة البلاغة؟ ٤) كيف طريقة تدريسها؟ ومما وجده الكاتب، أن البلاغة هي علم يختص في دراسة تأليف الأساليب العربية حيث كانت مطابقة لمقتضى الحال مع مراعاة الجمال النصي، وهي تساعد اللغة العربية في طريقة تأدية الكلام الجيد المناسب للمقام. وكشف معنى النص ومع كونها ذات دور مهم في التعبير اللغوي فيلزم دراستها، في المدارس والجامعات والمعاهد الإسلامية، بطريقة صائبة وفقا بأهداف الدراسة مع مراعاة أحوال الطلبة والمواد المدروسة."

Abstract

This research comes from the results of observations of researchers at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang, where in Balaghah learning, the ability to read material is meager, so it affects the level of understanding of students on Balaghah reading material besides the value of students in Balaghah learning is also common. So departing from this, the researchers used the SQ3R method, which was applied to the Al-Muhibbin students in learning Balaghah. This study aims to 1) determine the level of understanding of maharah qira'ah before and after the application of the SQ3R method in learning Balaghah at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang; 2) to determine the effectiveness of using the SQ3R method in increasing maharah qira'ah in Balaghah learning at Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang. The type of this research is quantitative research with the One-Group Pretest-Postest Design Research. The population of this study was all students of Al-Muhibbin Tambakberas Jombang, with a total of 1300 students. The sample in this study was 40 students. The research instrument used a test of understanding maharah qiraah, documentation, and observation sheets and then analyzed by descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of this study are 1) after the SQ3R method treatment showed that the understanding of the maharah qira'ah of students in Balaghah learning at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang increased, they could conclude that the contents of the reading and understand the Balaghah material contained in the reading; 2) the effectiveness of the SQ3R method in learning Balaghah understanding of the maharah qira'ah of students in Balaghah learning at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang can be concluded to experience a significant increase, as evidenced by the pre-test scores of students, namely 65 and post-test students of 78. So, it can be concluded that the use of the SQ3R method has high effectiveness in understanding the maharah qira'ah of students in Balaghah learning at the Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School Tambakberas Jombang.

Abstract

This research aimed to understand the curriculum quality management more deeply, to understand the scope of learning Arabic, and to know the process of curriculum quality management and Arabic learning. The researcher used a descriptive approach by suggesting several definitions of curriculum quality management and its application in learning Arabic. The data collection method deployed the study of literature and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher analyzed books or articles related to curriculum quality management, opinions from experts in the world of Arabic education and curriculum, theories in Arabic learning, and suggestions and criticisms addressed in the research. The results of this study demonstrated that 1) curriculum quality management in learning, in general, is an effort as effective and efficient as possible to achieve a curriculum goal without a quality approach in the curriculum. 2) Learning, in general, can be said as education which is a process of guiding students so that they can develop sufficiently, and they can contribute amid life. 3) To see the progress of learning, students must be assessed through a process that is made by national standards and includes various cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as well as other psychological aspects. The formal finding from this research exhibited that the benchmarking of Arabic learning in this discussion uses the "National Education Standard", which is the minimum criteria for the education system in all jurisdictions of Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the articulation learning method, increase students' understanding of the articulation learning method, and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the articulation learning method in the Balaghah subject at Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research. Techniques in data collection are used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses data analysis through condensation, presentation, and conclusion. The research results obtained by the researchers showed that (1) the implementation of the articulation learning method in increasing students' understanding at the Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School went through three stages, namely the initial stage, the core stage, and the closing stage; (2) in increasing the understanding of the students experienced a significant increase, the data was taken from the learning evaluation; (3) factors supporting the implementation of the articulation learning method include supporting infrastructure, namely the completeness of Islamic boarding school facilities and infrastructure, complete learning books, while the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the articulation learning method differ in the characteristics and level of understanding of each student.

Abstract

Gender issues are now in the great spotlight in the eyes of the wider community. Gender is generally identified as the difference between men and women from a socio-cultural perspective. Gender in general can be defined as a cultural concept that distinguishes between men and women from a socio-cultural perspective that can change according to changing times. Apart from that, gender issues regarding the roles between men and women in society are based on socio-cultural constructions and the history of society, not solely because of biological, anatomical or sexual aspects. Departing from this problem the author considers it necessary to express thoughts about Gender Language in the Fatwa about the text "Musawat Al Mar'ah bi Al Rajul". By using the library research method, which is then processed using an inductive or deductive approach, it is expected to be able to conclude the Fatwa on Musawat Al Mar'ah bi Al Rajul by Ahmad Al-Shurbasy written in the book Yas'alunak fi al-Din wa al-Hayat, consists of six paragraphs. Each paragraph contains the author's thoughts on the similarities between men and women, as well as the differences between the two (gender) from the perspective of Islam. In this study, it was also found that in expressing his thoughts on gender, he conveyed it using clear, straightforward, and firm language. This kind of language pattern is indeed appropriate to display thoughts about a problem that is problematic. By using such language, it will be able to provide an understanding of gender proportionally.

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to explore out the process of implementing Problem Based Learning using PowerPoint media in Arabic lessons at MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang; (2) To find out the results of applying Problem Based Learning in Arabic lessons with PowerPoint media in increasing student learning interest. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study show (1) The implementation of the Problem Based Learning model at MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang in Arabic for class XI is carried out through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. (2) Overall, it can be concluded that student's interest in learning Arabic using the Problem Based Learning model is included in the outstanding category; this is because students can explore further problems that are closely related to student's daily lives and also required to be able to think critically and cooperate in groups to solve the problems presented in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual) on students' learning interests and critical thinking skills in the Balaghah subject at the Adnan Al-Charis Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type with a non-equivalent control group design. Class A is the control class with 15 students, and class B is the experimental class with 15 students. Data collection methods include observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis used descriptive statistics, sample t-test, and the N-Gain test. From the results of this study, it was obtained 1) The SAVI learning model was effective in increasing students' interest in learning. The results of the independent sample t-test (2-tailed) < 0.05, which is 0.000; 2) The SAVI learning model is less effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The N-Gain result for the experimental class is 59%; 3) There is an influence between the SAVI learning model on students' learning interest, the results of Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05, which is equal to 0.000, while the SAVI learning model has no influence on students' critical thinking skills, the results of Sig (2-tailed) > 0.05, namely of 0.903.

Abstract

Think Pair Share is one a type of cooperative learning model designed to influence the pattern of student interactions in learning. The kind that used of this research is Research and Development (R n D), using ADDIE model. For the stages of development are : 1) Analyze Stage, 2) Design Stage, 3) Development Stage, 4) Evaluation Stage. The results show that (1) research development produce a learning implementation plan ( RPP ) cooperative learning model think pair share type to increase maharah kitabah or writing skills students of VII class SMPU BP Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto. 2) the result of this reserach and development of learning implementation plan (RPP) meets the criteria is valid, be using formulation likert scalen P=F/N × 100. The resluts of the first validator is 61% and the second validator is 71 %. Therefore, this learning implementation plan (RPP) cooperative learning models think pair share type to increase maharah kitabah or writing skills students of VII class is feasible and be used.
