Abstract

Ikan lele (Clarias sp.) merupakan ikan air tawar yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Sistem akuaponik dapat menghemat lahan dan meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan hara. Tanaman kangkung (Ipomoea aquatica) dan selada (Lactuca sativa) merupakan jenis sayuran yang populer di Indonesia. Maka dari itu, penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengukur pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan lele (Clarias gariepinus) pada sistem akuaponik dengan jenis tanaman yang berbeda yaitu menggunakan tanaman kangkung dan selada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas tiga perlakuan, yaitu Perlakuan P0 dengan pemberian pakan pelet (Kontrol), Perlakuan P1 dengan pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung dan pemberian pakan pelet, dan Perlakuan P2 dengan pertumbuhan tanaman selada dan pemberian pakan pelet). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Penelitian selama 6 minggu menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan mutlak bobot tubuh benih ikan lele tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan kontrol (P0) sebesar 11,03 g dan pertumbuhan mutlak panjang tubuh tertinggi juga terdapat pada perlakuan kontrol (P0) sebesar 4,03 cm. Laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR) tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan kontrol (P0). Tingkat kelangsungan hidup (SR) tertinggi benih ikan lele terdapat pada Perlakuan I (P1) dengan tanaman kangkung sebesar 92,5%. Pertumbuhan tanaman akuatik menunjukkan bahwa tanaman kangkung (P1) memiliki tinggi rata-rata 9,25 cm, lebar daun 0,6 cm, dan 5 daun, sedangkan selada (P2) memiliki tinggi rata-rata 1,87 cm, lebar daun 0,93 cm, dan 2 daun. Kualitas air selama penelitian relatif stabil dengan suhu berkisar antara 26-33°C dan nilai pH antara 7-7,9.

Abstract

Agribusiness vocational education has a strategic role in preparing skilled workers who are able to compete in the world of work. This study aims to analyze the preferences and learning styles of students in the Food Crops and Horticulture Agribusiness program at SMK Negeri 1 Bawen. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The main focus of this study includes preferences for learning methods, learning methods, enthusiasm levels, and other supporting factors such as access to agricultural land and learning facilities. The results showed that 48.28% of students preferred a combination of theory and practice learning methods because they provided a deeper understanding and were relevant to the needs of the world of work. As many as 79.31% of students chose to study in groups because they allowed discussion and collaboration, while 20.69% of students preferred independent learning to focus on individual understanding. The level of student enthusiasm for agribusiness learning varied, with the majority showing high involvement especially in field practice activities. Supporting factors such as access to agricultural land, practice facilities, and teacher support played a significant role in increasing student motivation and skills. This study concludes that a balanced learning approach between theory and practice, supported by adequate facilities and cooperation with the industrial world, can optimize student learning outcomes. Recommendations include the development of an industry-based curriculum and increased support for students who do not have access to agribusiness land.

Abstract

Leachate contains TSS (Total Suspended Solid) and TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) which causes turbidity and a blackish brown color in the leachate. One effort that can be made to deal with environmental pollution caused by leachate is phytoremediation. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of water bamboo as a phytoremediation agent for TSS and TDS from landfill leachate. This research is an experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatment levels and three repetitions. The treatments given in this research were three variations of water bamboo, namely P0 : without water bamboo, P1: 750 g water bamboo, and P2: 1.000 g water bamboo. Based on research results, water bamboo is not effective in reducing TSS and TDS. The most optimal percentage reduction in TSS occurred in the P2 on the third day of the study (16.83%). The most optimal percentage reduction in TDS occurred in the P1 on the seventh day of the study (6.56%). The results of research show that phytoremediation can reduce Jatibarang Landfill leachate, especially TSS and TDS levels accumulated by the roots of water bamboo.

Abstract

TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) is a basic skill for educators in today's modern era. Even TPACK is referred to as one of the factors that determines the success or failure of learning activities carried out, namely a teacher, so the quality of teachers can be an important factor in improving the quality of education. Teachers are required to have several competencies in the form of a set of mastery of abilities that must be present in teachers, especially in the use of technology, one of which is the application of AI (Artificial Intelligence). For teachers, the use of AI technology can help improve teaching skills, professional development, and provide support in learning assessment and management. This study uses a qualitative research method using a qualitative inductive analysis approach. Qualitative data is collected through activities to make notes of data and information that is heard and seen, then the data is analyzed. The results of the study show that the AI ​​digital literacy profile of teachers at SMAN 1 Mranggen can be concluded to be in the Very Good category (85%) with the following 3 indicators: 1) Ability to use digital media, namely 87% (Very Good); 2) Critical Understanding, namely 90% (Very Good); 3) Communication Skills, namely 76% (Good).

Abstract

PBL based performance assessment involves students directly and can train them to face various problems and find solutions to problems. Science learning in class VIII shows that critical thinking skills are still relatively lacking in the process of discovering concepts in the material and the ability to answer questions based on critical thinking skills. The low level of critical thinking skills is caused by students lack of conceptual discovery of the material being taught and examining the relationship between the material and solving problems in daily life, which is done directly through performance assessments, which were previously rarely implemented in the classroom. The PBL syntax embedded in the performance assessment rubric is also integrated with the critical thinking skills component. The aim of this research is to find out whether PBL-based performance assessment can be used to measure students' critical thinking abilities. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach with descriptive data explanation in class VIII D of SMPN 37 Semarang. Students are asked to develop critical thinking skills through group work, with the results of practical and product performance assessment activities showing a good category. Where the practice percentage shows the lowest value with a percentage of 50% in the deduction dimension, with activities to determine conclusions and consider the results of the analysis with problems in each group to answer questions. The percentage of practice shows the highest score with a percentage of 75% in the dimensions of inference, recognition and interpretation with information analysis activities, exploration of information and conditions, identification of information obtained, presenting solutions and preventive efforts and the results of group work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi guru Biologi SMA di Kota Semarang terhadap materi yang dianggap mudah dan sulit diajarkan, serta kendala dan strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket daring yang diisi oleh 34 guru Biologi dari berbagai SMA Negeri dan Swasta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi yang dianggap mudah diajarkan adalah keanekaragaman hayati, sistem pencernaan, pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, serta ekosistem. Sebaliknya, materi metabolisme, imunitas, evolusi, dan genetika dianggap sulit karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan kompleks. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru meliputi konsep abstrak, istilah asing, keterbatasan media, kurangnya konsentrasi siswa, dan keterbatasan waktu. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru menerapkan strategi seperti Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), dan Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya dukungan pelatihan guru, media pembelajaran yang memadai, dan kolaborasi antar guru guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran Biologi di SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the TPACK approach to developing critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. The design used in this research is Experimental (Quasi-experimental) with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 72 high school students who were divided into two homogeneous classes, namely 36 students in the control class and 36 students in the experimental class. Students in the control class were taught conventional learning and the experimental class was taught with the TPACK approach. The TPACK approach to critical thinking skills is sufficient. Learning with the TPACK approach is more effective in improving learning outcomes than conventional learning. The results of the tcount test in the experimental class were 63.375 and the ttable was 1.666 while the control class the tcount test results were 25.102 and the ttable was 1.666.

Abstract

Terrarium-based project learning is a strategic innovation to support the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) at MA Roudlotul Mubtadiin. This activity aims to improve students' creativity, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial spirit. Through training, simulation, and hands-on practice methods, students were trained to create and market terrarium products as educational media and economic commodities. Data analysis shows that students have an average creative self-efficacy score of 3.83, financial literacy of 3.85, and entrepreneurship of 3.88 with no significant gender differences. These results indicate the effectiveness of the terrarium approach in shaping independent, creative, and entrepreneurial student profiles. Character education and 21st-century skills can be strengthened through this approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kesulitan guru Biologi dalam mengajarkan materi pelajaran kepada siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 25 guru Biologi peserta PPG Daljab 2024 di LPTK UPGRIS dengan masa kerja beragam: 0–5 tahun (16%), 6–10 tahun (20%), 11–15 tahun (44%), dan >15 tahun (24%). Instrumen penelitian berupa angket Google Form yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi yang dianggap mudah diajarkan antara lain keanekaragaman hayati (84%), ekosistem (72%), sistem pencernaan (60%), sistem reproduksi (56%), serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangan (52%). Sebaliknya, materi yang dianggap sulit meliputi metabolisme (68%), substansi genetika dan hereditas (64%), mutasi (60%), sistem saraf (56%), serta sistem hormon (48%). Kendala yang dialami guru mencakup keterbatasan media pembelajaran, istilah ilmiah yang sulit dipahami siswa, serta rendahnya motivasi belajar. Ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi sulit rata-rata hanya mencapai 50–70%, bahkan beberapa guru melaporkan di bawah 50%. Upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut meliputi remedial teaching, pengayaan, penggunaan media interaktif, serta penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dan Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam mendukung pembelajaran Biologi, khususnya pada materi abstrak.

Abstract

Cheese is a type of food produced by separating solid substances in milk through a process of thickening or coagulation. The cheese-making process generally involves the use of bacteria from the Actinobacteriaceae group. This study utilizes a literature review method, including the analysis of several relevant articles, and is further analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach. The methodological steps involved searching Google with the keywords "cheese making" and "cheese microorganisms." Based on the discussion results, cheese production is not limited to cow's milk; cheese can also be processed from corn, soybeans, and red beans. The cheese-making process utilizes several probiotic bacteria such as Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus casei, and Streptococcus. The use of different starter bacteria can influence the characteristics of the resulting cheese. This research includes a total of 13 articles, comprising 5 articles on Lactobacillus bulgaricus, 5 articles on Lactobacillus casei, and 5 articles on Streptococcus
