Abstract

Katalog menjadi salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan katalog pada materi keanekaragaman tumbuhan sebagai implementasi dari hasil penelitian murni mengenai keanekaragaman tumbuhan liana di kawasan Curug Sewu Kendal. keanekaragaman tumbuhan termasuk dalam materi pembelajran biologi SMA kelas XII. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE tanpa Implementasi dan Evaluasi. Skor yang diperoleh 97,7 %. Katalog yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul biologi pada materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan menggunakan Flip PDF Professional. Penelitian menggunakan metode 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D meliputi define, design, dan development. Tahap define (pendefinisian) dilakukan dengan analisis kompetensi dasar. Tahap design (perancangan) yang dilakukan dengan merancang susunan dan isi modul dan mengubah modul menjadi e-modul menggunakan Flip PDF Professional. Tahap development (pengembangan) melakukan validasi pada e-modul dengan melibatkan 2 validator yang menilai aspek media dan aspek materi pada e-modul. Hasil validasi aspek materi mendapat skor dengan presentase 99,4% dan aspek materi mendapat skor dengan presentase 96,9%. Hasil validasi aspek materi dan aspek media terdapat pada interval 81% - 100% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak” untuk diimplementasikan pada materi KD 3.1 Menjelaskan pengaruh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan makhluk hidup kelas XII SMA semester I

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan model pembelajaran project based learning untuk mengembangkan ketrampilan abad 21 yakni kreativitas dan inovasi pada siswa di sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Aspek pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi konten, proses, produk dan lingkungan belajar yang di implementasikan dalam model pembelajaran project based learning dengan kegiatan perencanaan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek dan kunjung karya (Gallery Walk). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan model project based learning mampu menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna serta dapat mengembangkan ketrampilan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa SMP yang merupakan salah satu ketrampilan abad 21, hal ini dibuktikan dengan implementasi pembelajaran yang berjalan sesuai dengan rencana dan menghasilkan suasana pembelajaran yang memberikan kebebasan bagi siswa dalam mengekspresikan potensi sesuai minat dan kemampuan, serta hasil penilaian ketrampilan kreativitas dan inovasi pada seluruh kegiatan proyek menunjukan kategori kreatif hingga sangat kreatif.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) learning model on biology education in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a literature review to analyze the impact of the STEAM learning model. Data collection techniques involve documentation by searching relevant journals on this topic through Google Scholar, covering the past 5 years from 2019 to 2023. The analysis of the articles shows that the results of 10 articles prove that implementing the STEAM model in biology education positively influences students' critical thinking skills, creative thinking abilities, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on Learning Outcomes, Critical Thinking Skills, and Problem-Solving Abilities in students' biology education. The data collection technique used is a literature review method. The method employed in this study is a literature review to analyze the impact of the PBL model. Data is collected through documentation by searching relevant journals on this topic via Google Scholar, covering the past 5 years from 2019 to 2023. Based on the analysis of 10 articles, it is found that the implementation of the PBL learning model has a positive influence on students' 4C skills.

Abstract

Tofu industrial waste has the potential to become contaminant when it is not maximum processed, so it needs appropriate treatment to minimize the occurrence of pollution. β-Glucans can be produced from the yeast cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.As a feed supplement, β-Glucans have been used for an immunostimulant because it can increase the immune system. This study aimed to establish a suitable technology to produce β-Glucans fromSaccharomyces cerevisiae by utilize tofu waste as feed supplement. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) model was used in the experimental method. This study used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) model.The treatment given wereP1: 1kg of tofu waste + 1kg of bran +0.2 kg fish meal + 0.2 lt molasses + 5.5 gSaccharomyces cerevisiae; P2: 1kg of tofu waste + 1kg of bran +0.2 kg fish meal + 0.2 lt molasses + 6.5 g Saccharomyces cerevisiae; P3: 1kg of tofu waste + 1kg bran + 0.2 kg fish meal +0.2 lt molasses + 7.5 g Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, and fermented for five days.The results found that P1 by Saccharomyces cerevisiae 5.5 g was the best formulation to produced crude β-Glucans by weight of 25.9 g/kg of waste. Production of β-Glucans as an animal feed supplement is a waste-based feed technology development which is expected to increase livestock production both in quality and quantity.

Abstract

The existence of household waste has a huge impact on the environment and health if left unchecked. One way to process household waste into useful products is by making Ecoenzyme. This study aims to determine the utilization of household waste through ecoenzyme by analyzing the literature review. There are 14 scientific articles used in this research which come from 12 accredited national journals and 2 journal proceedings articles. The technique of presenting the data is using a table listing scientific publication articles that will be analyzed into research data. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively by analyzing and identifying scientific articles so as to produce a more formative summary. The results of the literature review research show that this Ecoenzyme is an alternative to organic waste processing, especially in household waste, this Ecoenzyme has several product results and their uses. In agriculture, Ecoenzyme is used as liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The results of Ecoenzyme are also used as cleaners, soaps, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, and are made in the form of essential oils to be added to water purifiers.

Abstract

Indonesia has large natural vegetable resources to be able to provide a promising and environmentally friendly alternative fuel to replace petroleum, namely bioethanol. Bioethanol is a biochemical liquid from the process of fermenting sugar from carbohydrate sources using the help of microorganisms. Bioethanol is produced from biomass containing sugar, starch and cellulose. One of the raw materials for bioethanol which is environmental waste is pineapple skin and pineapple hump. In this literature review , 15 articles were collected relating to the utilization of fruit waste as a raw material for bioethanol production and its effectiveness. The results from the literature review show that pineapple waste has suitable characteristics to be used as raw material for making bioethanol which is useful for environmentally friendly alternative fuels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap keberhasilan belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari aspek produk secara holistik pada sub materi daur ulang limbah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Semarang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental design dalam bentuk one group post only design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling berdasarkan rekomendasi dari guru biologi dan diperoleh sampel kelas X-1 yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa rubrik penilaian keterampilan meliputi aspek proses dan produk. Indikator penilaian proses meliputi kemampuan perencanaan, kelengkapan alat dan bahan, serta proses pembuatan produk. Dan penilaian produk mencakup keterselesaian produk, kesesuaian desain dengan hasil, kebermanfaatan produk, pemanfaatan limbah, dan kreativitas produk yang dibuat. Hasil penilaian keterampilan menunjukkan peserta didik mampu mewujudkan keberhasilan belajar pada aspek proses minimal 89% baik. Sementara itu, secara klasikal persentase rata-rata nilai kelompok-kelompok tersebut adalah 91% yang menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan belajar peserta didik pada aspek produk dapat dikategorikan dalam tingkat baik.Kata kunci: keberhasilan belajar, pembelajaran diferensiasi, penilaian produk secara holistik, PjBL

Abstract

Most of the engineering or modification of plant traits is carried out to address the increasing global food needs with high quality. The growing demand for potatoes and tomatoes has led to a high market demand for high-quality tomato and potato plants, necessitating the sale of quality plants. Therefore, continuous efforts are made to improve the quality in the tomato and potato farming sector. This is aimed at producing new plants with superior characteristics compared to previous ones. This research uses a literature study from 15 journal articles from 2015-2023 related to the development and application of biotechnology in agriculture for the production of fertilizers to increase crop yields. The literature was searched using Google Scholar with the keywords 'genetic engineering utilization in tomato fruit' and 'genetic engineering utilization in potatoes.' The analysis was conducted using descriptive analytics, and the data were examined narratively descriptively. The results of the discussion on the use of genetic engineering in tomato and potato plants show that the production of tomato plant seeds has significantly increased. This can include an increase in the number of fruits produced per plant or an increase in fruit size. The role of biotechnology in the utilization of genetic engineering in tomato and potato plants can be considered a solution because it has a significant impact on plant growth and agricultural yields..
