Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ter- sebut disebabkan karena guru masih menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvesional yang mana pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada guru sedangkan siswa tidak banyak di libatkan atau tidak aktif dalam pembelajaran. Pada kondisi ini metode strategi DRTA menjadi salah satu metode alternatif solusi, karena metode DRTA melibatkan interaksi antara murid dan guru. Sehingga tidak terjadi lagi pembelajaran yang hanya terpacu pada guru dan siswa. metode DRTA bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia disekolah seperti perencanaan, implementasi, langkah-langkah dan bagaimana dampaknya ter- hadap kemampuan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk meninjau bagaimana metode DRTA terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas tinggi sekolah dasar. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu Sistematic Literature Reviw (SLR) atau Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis yang mengidentifikasi, menilai, dan menginterprestasi seluruh semua hasil penelitian. Sampel analisis ini adalah 14 jurnal yang telah di terbitkan pada 10 tahun terakhir. Subjek pencarian sesuai dengan topik pembahasan peneliti, pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dan siswa sekolah dasar. Jurnal tersebut membahas metode DRTA, berdasarkan hasil temuan analisis metode DRTA memberikan pengaruh yang positif. Dari setiap artikel atau jurnal yang telah di analisis, terdapat perbedaan, tapi secara keseluruhan penelitian ini menunjukan kesimpulan bahwa metode DRTA untuk kemampuan membaca pemahaman Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas tinggi sekolah dasar memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca terhadap siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN melalui Metode Concept Mapping (Peta Konsep) pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kranji II Bekasi Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian pemahaman konsep pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal 59,09% dengan nilai rata-rata 74,55. Hasil penelitian keaktifan siswa pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal 72,73% dengan nilai rata-rata 75,45. Dan pada siklus II hasil penelitian pemahaman konsep ketuntasan  klasikal 86,63% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,63. Hasil penelitian keaktifan siswa pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal 86,36% dengan nilai rata-rata 83,33. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode Concept Mapping (Peta Konsep) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV SDN Kranji II Bekasi Barat.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran penerapan metode show and tell dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studyliterature atau tinjauan literatur sistematis yang mengadaptasi dari metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis (PRISMA). Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa pencarian literatur online yang bersumber dari Google Scholar, Garuda, Dimensions dan ResearchGate. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “metode show and tell” DAN “keterampilan berbicara” DAN “bahasa indonesia” DAN “sekolah dasar”. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian secara keseluruhan didapatkan 237 jurnal, kemudian dilakukan tahap identifikasi, screening dan kelayakan, hanya terdapat 16 jurnal yang relevan dan sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi yang telah ditetapkan, dari hasil penelitian ini nilai keterampilan berbicara siswa berada di atas nilai rata-rata Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) 70 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode show and tell dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of maximum speaking skills among students, this influences several factors such as: (1) intonation that is not well controlled, (2) due to lack of self-confidence, when forced to move forward, students' speaking skills will be limited. broken/disjointed, (3) students' pronunciation is not appropriate, and (4) the use of pronunciation words is not yet used. The aim of the research is to improve speaking skills through the Role Playing method. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with 3 (three) cycles. Each cycle carries out four stages, namely the planning, implementation, action and reflection stages. The number of students in the research class was 31 students. The number of male students was 17 and the number of female students was 14. Data collection techniques in this research used oral tests and observation. The indicator of success measured in this research is students' ability in reading comprehension skills. This researcher is declared successful if 80% of the total number of students achieve a score ≥ 75. The results show that class V classical completeness increased from cycle 1 with a classical completeness percentage of 55%, then in cycle II with a classical completeness percentage of 64% and cycle III reached the target classical completeness percentage of 84%. By using the Role Playing Method, teachers become more creative in using methods in learning and students become more interested in speaking to other students so that students' speaking skills can be completed. and thus it can be concluded that the Role Playing method can improve speaking skills in class V at SDN Bojong Rawalumbu VII.

Abstract

In a research journal focusing on community service programs aimed at developing critical thinking skills through debate methods in high schools, the research results indicate that this program has significantly enhanced the critical thinking abilities, speaking skills, and argumentation skills of male and female students. The program has provided valuable experiences in research, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of complex issues. Participants in the program have also reported improvements in their ability to communicate clearly and assertively, boosting their confidence in expressing their opinions and effectively responding to questions and counterarguments.Throughout the debate process, students have had the opportunity to delve into specific topics, aiding them in better comprehending complex issues. This, in turn, contributes to more critical assessments and better decision-making across various aspects of life.Expanding the implementation of this program to various high schools is expected to assist more students in developing crucial critical thinking skills vital for both education and daily life. Continuous monitoring and evaluation are essential to continually enhance the program's effectiveness. Additionally, providing more supportive resources, such as books, access to literature, and in-depth training for educators, is necessary to elevate the program's quality.Consequently, this community service program has brought about significant positive impacts by enhancing the critical thinking skills, speaking abilities, and argumentation skills of high school students, preparing them to face future challenges.

Abstract

Health is something that is the main focus for every country. When a country has a healthy society, its people will also become more productive. It is important for the community to always implement healthy living behavior, of course, before implementing healthy living behavior, first increase public awareness of the importance of implementing healthy living behavior in everyday life. Apart from that, what is still a problem is that many people do not realize that creating a healthy society requires efforts to create a healthy environment as well. Such as protecting the environment from waste that can damage the environment if it is continuously thrown away carelessly. One of them is used cooking oil waste which is still the center of attention, especially in Indonesia. The methods used in this service program are observation and interviews, outreach, environmental advocacy. The activity that will be carried out is an effort to increase public awareness regarding the use of used cooking oil waste in Lenggahjaya Village. The results of this service program provide benefits in the form of increasing public awareness of the dangers of used cooking oil waste for health and the surrounding environment and the public knowing that used cooking oil waste can be reprocessed into production materials, as has been practiced, namely processing it into aromatherapy candles.

Abstract

The aim of training and counseling on making learning tools is to use the Google website as a teaching tool. Elementary school teachers in Bojongmangu sub-district, in collaboration with teachers implementing the independent curriculum, provide devices innovative and creative learning. This training is qualitative research with observations, discussions and seminars, This seminar activity aims to increase insight into how to create Google sites for elementary school teachers in Sukabungah village, Bojongmangu district. Based on research conducted by elementary school teachers in Bojongmangu sub-district, teachers' ability to create lesson plans for the Mardeka curriculum is still limited, resulting in an unsatisfactory learning process. Teachers also do not have the ability to create interesting, innovative and creative learning materials. Teachers use media that is appropriate for students. Teachers should not overcrowd classes, and in some cases, learning material is limited to a certain number of books. In addition, teachers do not use technology in their teaching process; instead, all teaching methods are done by hand, which results in teachers' knowledge being inadequate to meet the demands of the curriculum. This research will produce products that can be used by teachers in the classroom, such as Google Sites. Due to the availability of Google sites, teachers can focus on developing their important skills, which are necessary for their field of work in education. The results of this research can be used as a guide for other teachers in other schools to increase the use of Google Sites for learning.

Abstract

Making jumputan with basic fabrics, will be very helpful in efforts to produce quality jumputan fabric products, so that it will improve the welfare of the local community, The implementation of this practical activity is carried out offline / face-to-face, at the Darut Tawwabin foundation, Sukamukti Village, with the aim of improving the skills of teenagers to be more honed and to produce quality products and can be traded. Being able to develop skills and see the extent of the youth's batik knowledge, making jumputan batik on the basis of cloth, will be very helpful in efforts to produce quality jumputan cloth products, so that it will improve the welfare of the community and the economy of the local community. The results of this service activity show that the teenagers of Sukamukti Village can develop batik skills and see the talents they have, thus making business fields and helping the local economy.

Abstract

One of the village governments indirectly involved in preventing and addressing stunting in the Sukamukti Village area is the Sukamukti Village Government in the Bojongmangu District. However, there have been few interventions regarding health issues, especially children's nutrition adequacy in Sukamukti Village. Consequently, stunting has become a major health problem related to children's nutritional needs. The only effort made by the Sukamukti Village Government to prevent stunting is by conducting routine integrated health post activities for pregnant women and toddlers every month. The aim of community service activities in Sukamukti Village is to enhance nutritional knowledge, teach skills in processing locally-sourced complementary feeding like moringa leaf juice, and improve the community's economy through SMEs. The moringa leaf processing training has realized various activities according to plan. First, observation activities were conducted to identify the right targets and obtain permission from local agencies. Second, program planning was carried out to gather several groups and create emotional closeness to ensure smooth implementation. Third, socialization activities were conducted by providing training materials on moringa leaf processing as a stunting prevention strategy in Sukamukti Village. This community service enhances skills, improves nutrition in consumption, and offers broader marketing potential if moringa leaf juice products are turned into SMEs. Additionally, the training provides additional economic benefits by utilizing moringa leaves for various food and beverage variations.

Abstract

Innovative learning models are approaches taken in the learning process that involve creative ideas, technology and meaningful learning. Educators who have pedagogical competence are able to create innovative learning models for their students. This writing is made as a result of a seminar shown to elementary school teachers in Bojongmangu sub-district on the selection of innovative learning models. The selection of innovative learning models for teachers is shown so that in teaching and learning activities can achieve maximum learning objectives. In Bojongmangu sub-district, there are still many teachers who use textbook-centered learning models. After attending this seminar, elementary school teachers in Bojongmangu sub-district gained new insights into various innovative learning models that can be applied in the classroom and achieve maximum learning objectives.
