Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa di sekolah dasar, dikarenakan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Berdasarkan hasil kajian dari beberapa jurnal, model Predict Observe Explain (POE) dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran model Predict Observe Explain (POE) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Systematic Literatur Review (SLR) dari 15 jurnal yang berasal dari database Google Scholar dan OneSearch sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi yaitu, variabel X dan Y (model predict observe explain dan hasil belajar), mata pelajaran IPA, subjek siswa sekolah dasar, jurnal penelitian dipublikasikan 8 tahun terakhir (2013-2021) dan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia. Penerapan model Predict Observe Explain dalam pembelajaran dimulai dari penyajian masalah, dimana siswa diajak untuk memberikan prediksi sementara terhadap kemungkinan yang akan terjadi, dilanjutkan dengan pengamatan secara langsung terhadap masalah dan kemudian dibuktikan dengan melakukan percobaan untuk menemukan kebenaran dari prediksi awal siswa dalam bentuk penjelasan. Untuk mengatasi siswa yang cenderung menghafal materi, melalui model pembelajaran POE siswa dapat menemukan sendiri konsep melalui percobaan langsung yang dilakukan, sehingga siswa akan merasakan proses belajarnya lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Msyarakat ini memiliki latar belakang yang dialami oleh mitra bahwa (1) minimnya kompetensi guru dalam mengimpelemntasikan kurikulum merdeka dan evaluasi terhadap pertemuan tatap muka terbatas (PTMT), (2) kurangnya kemapuan guru dalam membuat perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka dan Evaluasi terhadap PTMT, (3) kurang mampunya guru, staf dan kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka dis ekolah dasar, (4) adanya kendala dalam membuat desain pembelajaran yang menarik berbasis kurikulum merdeka. Alternatif solusi yang diberikan dan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada msyarakat ini adalah mengadaan Workshop untuk mengimpelementasikan kurikulum merdeka dan evaluasi Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas (PTMT) bagi Guru, Staf dan Kepala Sekolah SDN Sukamaju 01 Desa Sukamaju Kecamatan Tambelang Kabupaten Bekasi. Target  luaran pengabdian ini berupa perantara pengadaan Pelatihan dan bimbingan strategi implementasi kurikulum merdeka serta pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran, desain pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka untuk Guru, staf, dan Kepala Sekolah. Metodologi pengabdian ini berupa diskusi, ceramah, problem based learning dan simulasi/prakterk. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan berupa memberikan pemahaman dan pengintegrasian dalam menginplementasikan secara bersama kurikulum merdeka dan penggunaan beberapa tools seperti Canva, Az Screen Recorder, Andromo untuk membuat dan mendesain perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum merdeka yang nanti akan digunaan oleh Guru ketika proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Rapid advancements in education have been driven by technological progress, replacing traditional methods such as lectures and handwritten notes. It is noted that technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has transformed the way learning occurs. The evolution of learning from traditional methods towards utilizing technology in the educational process poses a challenge for teachers, especially in Sukabungah village where not all teachers are currently proficient in operating Information technology to create educational media/learning materials. This writing originated from a training seminar aimed at showcasing the utilization of Canva for creating innovative learning media to elementary school teachers in the Bojongmangu Subdistrict. The objective of this engagement, in the form of a seminar, is to enhance innovative and creative learning by utilizing Canva-based learning media that aligns with the learning environment. Present-day learning demands teachers to adapt to technology. Based on the findings of this research, utilizing the Canva application in teaching is encouraged so that educators are expected to adapt to current technology trends, specifically by employing Canva for teaching and learning. Canva facilitates educators in delivering innovative and creative teaching materials.

Abstract

This paper aims to train teenagers in painting activities to increase their creativity. Because creativity is really needed now, because times are increasingly advanced. Children and teenagers must be as creative as possible in making things. With the existence of cellphones and other gadgets, painting activities are starting to be forgotten in this village, which has resulted in very few teenagers still painting, even though painting is an art that must always be maintained. Every human being has different creativity, it's just that we need to maintain this potential. By carrying out this activity, it is hoped that teenagers in Sukamukti Village can develop and maintain their creativity. In this service, community education methods are used by providing guidance before carrying out practical activities. The teenagers were asked to paint freely according to the ideas they had or received from each person. And those who took part in this activity were teenagers from Sukamukti Village, members of youth organizations, and Community Service students at the Islamic University 45 Bekasi. This activity was carried out in the Sukamukti Village area (TPQ Darrut Tawwabin Annahdliyyah), for one day. The conclusion of holding this activity is to increase and maintain the creativity of Sukamukti Village teenagers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN melalui Metode Concept Mapping (Peta Konsep) pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kranji II Bekasi Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian pemahaman konsep pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal 59,09% dengan nilai rata-rata 74,55. Hasil penelitian keaktifan siswa pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal 72,73% dengan nilai rata-rata 75,45. Dan pada siklus II hasil penelitian pemahaman konsep ketuntasan  klasikal 86,63% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,63. Hasil penelitian keaktifan siswa pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal 86,36% dengan nilai rata-rata 83,33. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode Concept Mapping (Peta Konsep) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV SDN Kranji II Bekasi Barat.

Abstract

The ability to utilize the latest technology is one of the important things in creating an effective and engaging learning experience. Technological changes require educators who are accustomed to using traditional learning media to become technology-based learning media. The independent curriculum learning media training for elementary school teachers in Wibawamulya Village aims to improve teachers' ability to design learning media that is effective and appropriate for the teaching and learning process. This program focuses on developing teachers' skills in using media that support more flexible, creative and fun learning. Through this training, teachers are expected to utilize various learning media that can increase student engagement and understanding. The methods used in this training include theory, hands-on practice, and case studies relevant to the local context. The results of this training are expected to support the achievement of the independent curriculum objectives and improve the quality of education in Wibawamulya Village.

Abstract

Karangmulya Village has significant potential for sustainable agricultural development; however, it faces several challenges, including limited land availability and a lack of knowledge among residents regarding modern farming techniques. One viable solution is hydroponic cultivation, which allows plants to grow without soil while optimizing water and nutrient use. However, insufficient knowledge and skills in implementing hydroponic systems remain the primary obstacles to its development. This community service program aims to enhance the understanding and skills of Karangmulya Village residents in hydroponic vegetable cultivation. The training was conducted through educational sessions, practical demonstrations, and direct mentoring of participants. The activities included an introduction to the basic principles of hydroponics, various hydroponic system types, plant maintenance techniques, and marketing strategies for harvested produce. The program’s effectiveness was evaluated through observations and interviews conducted before and after the training. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills regarding hydroponic systems. Participants were able to comprehend and independently apply hydroponic farming techniques, including building simple hydroponic installations and managing plant nutrition. Additionally, this program fostered interest among residents in developing hydroponics as an efficient and sustainable alternative agricultural business. Through this training, Karangmulya Village residents are expected to maximize local potential and improve their livelihoods through productive and environmentally friendly hydroponic farming practices.

Abstract

A descriptive paragraph is a paragraph that describes an object, event, place, person or experience in detail.This study was conducted to improve the skills of writing descriptive paragraphs with the concept sentence method assisted by image media in grade IV students of SDN Marga Mulya I. This study was conducted with classroom action research through 2 cycle stages. This classroom action research was conducted because it was found that in grade IV students there were still many students who did not understand how to write paragraphs, students had difficulty developing the meaning they wanted to convey in writing and the use of learning methods that were less suitable. The results of this study prove that there was an increase in learning outcomes in the application of this model with a percentage of 66% of students who could in cycle 1 and increased to 80% in cycle 2 of students with descriptive paragraph writing skills. So the application of the concept sentence model assisted by image media is said to be successful in improving the skills of writing descriptive paragraphs in grade IV students of SDN Marga Mulya I.

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a significant health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence reaching 24.4% in 2021. Although in Wanajaya Village, stunting cases have been successfully reduced to 0%, the problem of malnutrition in children is still common. Good nutritional status is very important for the growth and development of children, especially toddlers, who need a balanced nutritional intake. One solution to increase children's nutritional intake is to utilize fruits as part of their daily diet. However, children often prefer sweet foods to fresh fruit. This study aims to introduce the manufacture of gummy candy from real fruit juice as an alternative healthy snack that can increase fruit consumption in children. By replacing sugar with honey, this gummy candy provides nutritional benefits without damaging dental health or triggering sugar addiction. The training held in Wanajaya Village aims to increase parental awareness of the importance of fruit consumption and provide skills in making healthy snacks. It is hoped that this training can help parents in overcoming children's nutritional problems and encourage better fruit consumption.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on training PKK mothers in Cikarageman Village on processing healthy and nutritious food using pakcoy (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis). Pakcoy is widely cultivated in the area and is rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like calcium and iron. Despite its nutritional value, its utilization as a primary food ingredient remains limited among local communities. This training aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in processing pakcoy into various food products, increasing both its household consumption and economic potential. The training employs a combination of theoretical lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Participants learn about the health benefits of pakcoy and how to transform it into diverse, appealing food products such as pakcoy juice and other nutritious meals, personal health benefits, this initiative has economic implications.
