Abstract

This article reviews a classroom action in the form of the application of the discovery learning model assisted by infographic teaching materials to improve the learning processes and numeracy literacy skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 6 Benteng Sidrap Regency of South Sulawesi in Indonesia. The approach is qualitative with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles on two-dimensional geometric shapes material. Each cycle was conducted in two learning meetings. The research results indicate that after implementing the action, the learning process reveals various changes, such as the focus, activity and involvement, and learning interactions. This change led to the improvement of students' numeracy literacy skills. The action in cycle I indicate that out of 20 students, five students (25%) were in the high-ability category and seven students (35%) were in the medium-ability category. Eight students (40%) were still in the low-ability category. In terms of the action in cycle II, there were 14 students (70%) who were in the high ability category, three students (15%) were in the medium ability category, and three students (15%) were still in the low ability category. The conclusion is that applying the Discovery Learning model supported by infographic teaching materials can improve fourth-grade students' learning process and numeracy literacy skills at SD Negeri 6 Benteng of Sidrap Regency in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media tangga pintar satuan panjang tiga dimensi untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran pada materi satuan panjang. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini yakni guru dan siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus, hasil penelitian siklus I proses pembelajaran dari aspek guru pada kualifikasi cukup (C), aspek siswa kualifikasi cukup (C) dan hasil tes belajar kualifikasi cukup (C). Sedangkan hasil penelitian siklus II proses pembelajaran dari aspek guru pada kualifikasi baik (B), aspek siswa kualifikasi baik (B) dan hasil tes belajar kualifikasi baik (B). Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penggunaan media tangga pintar satuan panjang tiga dimensi dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 141 Barru.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 4 Massepe. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran realistic mathematics education. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini yakni guru dan siswa kelas IV berjumlah 18 siswa yang terdiri dari 6 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan tiga siklus. Setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran realistic mathematics education (RME), proses belajar meningkat dari kualifikasi cukup (C) di siklus I dan II, meningkat menjadi baik (B) di siklus III. Setelah diterapkan RME nampak terjadi perubahan proses pembelajaran yaitu perubahan aktivitas pada siswa. Perubahan tersebut terlihat siswa antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, siswa menjadi lebih aktif, dan interaksi yang terjalin dengan baik. Adanya perubahan proses pembelajaran tersebut mendorong pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dari kualifikasi kurang pada siklus I, cukup siklus II, menjadi baik di siklus III. Kesimpulan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 4 Massepe Kabupaten Sidrap.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran setelah penggunaan project based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental dan menggunakan One-Group Pretest-posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 43 Malino. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 26 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik inferensial untuk uji hipotesis. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan bahwa data hasil pretest-posttest sampel berdistribusi normal. Begitu pula dengan hasil uji homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data memiliki variansi yang sama atau homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,000 ˂ 0.05 artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika setelah penggunaan project based learning.

Abstract

Abstract. Much research has been carried out on the development of self-regulated learning scales aimed at measuring various subjects. However, existing research has not included an in-depth review of the needs map and instrument characteristics according to the subject to be measured. Therefore, this preliminary study on the development of a self-regulated learning scale is important and urgent to carry out as a basis for developing a scale. This research aims to map the needs of student teacher candidates on a scale to measure their self-regulated learning skills in learning and achieving competency as prospective teachers. In addition, it aims to identify the characteristics and format for the scale. Based on the objectives, survey research is a research strategy that is deemed appropriate. The sample for this research was 358 student teacher candidates. Data were analyzed using Rasch measurement model. The results show that a scale for measuring self-regulated learning skills and strategies is needed by student teacher candidates. This conclusion needs to be followed up by developing a scale of skills and self-regulated learning strategies specifically aimed at student teacher candidates. The development of this scale needs to pay attention to the characteristics of a good, appropriate and relevant scale.  Keywords: teacher candidates, self regulated, rasch model, scale needs

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka yang dicanangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menuntut guru untuk mengembangkan metode penilaian yang lebih interaktif dan menarik bagi siswa. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Quizizz sebagai media penilaian berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Kabupaten Polewali Mandar dalam membuat instrumen penilaian berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz. Dengan adanya instrumen penilaian berbasis teknologi, diharapkan proses penilaian dapat berlangsung lebih efektif dan menarik bagi siswa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui workshop dan pendampingan langsung kepada guru. Workshop dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz dan prinsip-prinsip penilaian yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Selanjutnya, tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan pendampingan kepada guru dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian menggunakan Quizizz yang mencakup penilaian pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap. Hasil yang terukur dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya instrumen penilaian berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz yang lengkap dan siap digunakan oleh guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Instrumen penilaian tersebut mencakup penilaian kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif yang disajikan dalam bentuk kuis interaktif dan menarik. Dengan adanya instrumen penilaian berbasis teknologi ini, guru dapat melaksanakan penilaian secara lebih efektif, objektif, dan menarik bagi siswa, sehingga hasil belajar siswa dapat diukur dengan lebih akurat dan bermakna.

Abstract

Science learning is a means for students to learn about the natural surroundings to develop an understanding of science concepts that are contextual to their daily lives. For this reason, this study aimed to examine the application of the contextual teaching & learning (CTL) to improve the process and learning outcomes of science learning in grade 5 UPT SD Negeri 287 Pinrang, South Sulawesi. The approach used is qualitative, with a class action research type. The results show that the CTL learning model learning process changes student learning activities, interactions, and teacher teaching activities. Changes in the learning process led to increased student learning outcomes. Teaching materials, learning media, and worksheets that are designed with contextual settings bring significant changes to student learning activities and have an impact on their better understanding. This study concludes that implementing the CTL learning model can improve the process and outcomes of science learning in grade 5 UPT SD Negeri 287 Pinrang, South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Science learning that only prioritizes conceptual learning and ignores relevance to the environmental context and society in which students live needs to be immediately abandoned and changed to contextual learning oriented towards student activity and engagement. The research aims to implement the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model assisted by video animation to improve student learning processes and engagement in science learning about the Water Cycle. For this reason, a qualitative approach to this type of classroom action research is a research method that is considered relevant. Class actions were carried out in cycles (planning, implementation, observation and reflection) in class 5 of SDN 3 Watang Sidenreng, Sidrap Regency, South Sulawesi. Three instruments were used as data collection tools: teacher and student observation sheets and student learning engagement observation. Descriptive analysis was used for the analysis of data. The result is significant changes after implementing three class actions, especially in the student-centred orientation of learning science. With worksheets supported by animated video media, everything strengthens the contextualization of the Water Cycle material to be closer to students' daily phenomena. Various activities and learning experiences are realized when implementing the CTL model's seven learning steps (syntax). At the end of the cycle, student engagement could increase significantly. Thus, implementing CTL assisted by video animation could improve the learning process and engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Market Place Activity terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 55 Parepare. Penelitian ini mempergunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain non-equivalent control group design dalam bentuk Quasi Experimental. Jenis teknik sampling yang dipergunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 40 orang siswa. Teknik penghimpunan data yang dipergunakan yaitu tes dengan berbentuk pilihan ganda. Analisis data mempergunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik analisis inferensial. Hasil statistik deskriptif didapatkan dari hasil belajar siswa pada materi peristiwa perlawanan terhadap Belanda. Hasil analisis dengan mempergunakan uji independent sample t-test mengungkapkan sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,003 < 0,05) maka  ditolak dan  diterima. Sehingga, berkesimpulan bahwasanya model pembelajaran Market Place Activity berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi peristiwa perlawanan terhadap Belanda di kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 55 Parepare.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of video-assisted discovery learning to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The approach is qualitative to the type of classroom action research. The research subjects were 20 students and 1 teacher at fourth-grade Public Elementary School 35 Pammanu, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The approach is qualitative with the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out in two cycles on sains with force and motion material. Each cycle is completed in two learning meetings. Observation, tests, and documentation obtained data. The data analysis procedures used are condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the learning process using video-assisted discovery learning showed changes in student learning activity and engagement, learning interaction, learning atmosphere, and student learning focus getting better. The category of students' critical thinking skills has increased from 60% of students in the sufficient and very critical categories in Cycle I to 85% in Cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that implementing discovery learning assisted by video media can improve the learning process and students' critical thinking skills in the science learning in fourth-grade Public Elementary School 35 Pammanu, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi.
