Abstract

This study evaluates the efficacy of implementing the Green Management System (GMS) at the Center for Educational Development and Quality Assurance for Vocational Education in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (BBPPMPV BMTI) in Indonesia. Through this performance assessment, the research offers strategic insights for enhancing GMS implementation and investigating alternative approaches for its successful implementation. This study employs a quantitative descriptive analysis methodology, specifically the Analytic Network Process, with a particular emphasis on assessing critical factors such as Benefits, Opportunities, Costs, and Risks (ANP-BCOR). The result of this research revealed that the Cost Policy is clearly the top preference, followed by the other three policies, clearly indicating where the focus and resources should be placed. The Preferred Cost Policy emphasizes the importance of cost-effectiveness and financial factors when implementing the GMS. This study recommends that  BBPPMPV BMTI should prioritize cost-cutting measures that promote operational effectiveness and environmental sustainability. Abstract

The goal of a sustainable business strategy is to create long-term value for the firm, its stakeholders, and society at large by integrating economic, environmental, and social objectives into corporate goals, actions, and planning. It has long been believed that developing value outside of these parameters is illegitimate. Among the emerging nations that continues to protect micro, small, and medium-sized businesses is Indonesia. MSMEs, or micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, are the foundation of the economy. The government has worked very hard to maintain and grow MSMEs in the community. MSMEs are divided into a number of sectors by the regional administration, including trade, home industry, agriculture, food, fisheries, handicrafts, and other industries. Today's MSMEs face several obstacles, including disorganized data and a dearth of industrial facilities capable of producing commodities with significant added value. The government's financial and aid initiatives are frequently off course due to irregularities and disorganized data. Additionally, the government is currently concentrating on enhancements to facilitate better organization of MSMEs data. One significant initiative that will be carried out in the nation is the strengthening and transformation of the digital ecosystem. The secret to accelerating recovery and boosting the competitiveness of the national economy, particularly raising MSMEs' productivity and performance, is to digitize rural areas faster than cities

The study` takes a qualitative methodology, with government agencies and MSME actors in Lebak District serving as research informants. The findings emphasize the importance of effective management techniques in the development and growth of MSMEs operating in tourist attraction regions. Strong government support through local rules, streamlined licensing procedures, and the availability of suitable business locations are all important elements impacting MSME development. However, problems such as limited availability to raw materials, marketing limits, and financial constraints. It is crucial to focus on improving management competencies for the MSME actor  in order to handle these difficulties and boost MSME development. This includes assisting with infrastructure development, developing human resource skills, and encouraging collaboration among government agencies, local communities, and MSME actors. Furthermore, the government should make the finance more accessible and provide business training programs to empower MSMEs in the tourism sector and drive local economic growth in the Lebak District. Effective management practices are critical for guaranteeing MSMEs' long-term viability and competitiveness in the fast-paced tourist business.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly altered consumer behavior in Indonesia, with a stronger focus on essential needs such as food and beverages. This shift in priorities has been met with a positive response from businesses in the fast-food industry. KFC, one of the most prominent fast-food chains in Indonesia, serves as the context for this study. The research focuses on Indonesian Gen Z consumers who have previously purchased from KFC, with a sample of 180 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The study uses SEM-PLS analysis with Smart-PLS 4.0 software, revealing that Halal Certification, Brand Preference, and Trust have a positive and significant impact on Customer Loyalty. Additionally, Trust and Brand Preference act as mediators in the relationship between Halal Certification and Customer Loyalty, highlighting the importance of these factors in shaping consumer behavior. The findings suggest that halal certification not only influences customer loyalty directly but also strengthens brand preference and trust, which are crucial in fostering long-term loyalty. This is particularly important in the Indonesian market, where ethical and religious considerations are key drivers in consumer decision-making, especially among the younger generation

Abstract

This study examines the ideological tension between Bassam Tibi's reformist Islamic thought and the responses of jihadist groups in Indonesia. The research aims to explore how these groups interpret Tibi’s rejection of the Islamic state and his call for contextual reinterpretation of Islamic teachings as a threat to the purity of Islam. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach and content analysis method, the study draws on primary sources, including Tibi’s works and jihadist writings, as well as secondary academic literature. The findings reveal that while Tibi promotes an ethical and contextual understanding of Islam aligned with democratic values, human rights, and pluralism, jihadist groups oppose these interpretations and perceive them as part of a Westernization agenda. They assert that Islam must remain a comprehensive system that includes political and military dimensions, rejecting secularism and reinterpretation as forms of deviation. This study concludes that the conflict between reformist and jihadist Islamic perspectives reflects a broader epistemological struggle within contemporary Islamic discourse. The research contributes to academic debate by offering a deeper understanding of the ideological contestation surrounding Islam and modernity. Furthermore, it emphasizes the need for a contextual and dialogical approach to Islamic teachings as a means to foster moderation and coexistence in plural societies.
