Abstract

Product photos are images taken to visually show potential buyers how the appearance and characteristics of the product offered. This activity aims to illustrate the product branding process of the Cemal Cemil Chika MSME catalog photo in Gunung Anyar Village carried out by the Real Working Group (KKN) Group 87 UPN Veteran East Java. The method of conducting this research involves observation, interviews, counseling, and product photo branding training to MSMEs Cemal Cemil Chika. The results of this study show that through the implementation of product photo branding methods, the photo catalog of MSMEs Cemal Cemil Chika can be significantly improved. Attractive product photos manage to attract the interest of potential customers more effectively. The use of proper photography techniques, good lighting, and attractive visual composition has increased the visual appeal of product photo catalogs.

Abstract

Abstract. The tourism sector, the economy, and the industries that support it have all been severely damaged by the worldwide pandemic. Several of the tourism industry's market segments, such as lodging, dining, and travel agencies, are at saturation. To maintain a sustainable competitive advantage and achieve the intended results, companies need to have a well-defined plan of action to navigate the constantly shifting business landscape. This study will examine the mediating role of organizational strategic orientation in the performance of travel agency companies in the face of environmental uncertainty. The data is collected via a questionnaire and then PLS-SEM analysis is performed. The results show that the choice of an organization's strategic orientation, which includes market and entrepreneurial orientations that can impact learning orientation and organizational performance of travel agency companies, is influenced by technology uncertainty. As a component of a vibrant and alluring travel industry, travel agency businesses must be flexible and inventive in the face of ongoing technological advancements. This can be achieved through organizational strategy orientation, which emphasizes market and entrepreneurial orientations to boost the performance of travel agency businesses. Abstract

This research explores the influence of work environment and work-life balance on the likelihood of Generation Z employees in Gresik Regency leaving their jobs.  The study employs a quantitative method with a nonprobability sampling technique through purposive sampling, involving 90 Generation Z workers in Gresik Regency. Data were gathered via questionnaire distribution and analyzed using the partial least square method. The study's findings demonstrate that both work environment and work-life balance significantly reduce turnover intention. When Generation Z workers in Gresik Regency perceive their work environment and work-life balance positively, they are less likely to leave their jobs.

Abstract

In Indonesia, people with disabilities continue to face significant challenges in achieving financial independence, with only a small percentage able to secure formal employment. Tiara Handicraft, managed by the Tiara Bina Karya Foundation, provides income to workers with disabilities through handicraft production but struggles with market access, financial management, and motivation. This community service program adopted a structured and interactive approach to address these issues which engaged all employees and the owner, demonstrating strong interest in financial independence and motivation. Conducted in three stages—preparation, implementation, and evaluation—the program empowered participants by boosting work motivation, recognizing their potential, and helping them overcome societal stigmas

Abstract

The growing global concern for sustainability is particularly acute in the fashion industry, often viewed as a major contributor to environmental degradation. In response, eco-green products emerged, prioritizing sustainable practices and minimizing harm to the environment. To effectively market these products, it's crucial to enhance knowledge and skills in eco-green marketing. This community service program at Namira Ecoprint Surabaya aims to combine sustainability with effective marketing, raising consumer awareness about eco-friendly products and their benefits. This community service program has successfully raised awareness and understanding of effective marketing strategies, the advantages of sustainable products, and how eco-friendly products can stand out.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of compensation on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative method was used to obtain objective empirical data, with respondents as many as 51 outsourced employees (security) at PT XYZ. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire, then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results showed that compensation has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. In addition, job satisfaction was shown to significantly mediate the relationship between compensation and organizational commitment. This suggests that adequate compensation can increase job satisfaction, which in turn strengthens commitment to the organization. These findings emphasize that companies need to pay attention to the quality of compensation and working conditions to maintain loyal and productive employees.

Abstract

Employees are an aspect that has a role in the sustainability of an organization caused by many factors. This study aims to examine the effect of work overload, work life balance on employee performance with the mediation variable of Bank X employee satisfaction in the city of Surabaya. Quantitative methods were used for 40 respondents obtained from saturated sampling techniques as well as data analysis and hypothesis tests using the SEM-PLS method. The results of the analysis indicate that work overload does not contribute to employee performance but can be the cause of increased job satisfaction, work life balance can contribute to increased employee performance and job satisfaction, and job satisfaction can play a role as a mediator of work overload and work life balance in employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation and workload on employee performance through job satisfaction at PO Bus PT. X. The research employs a quantitative method involving 40 employees working as Drivers and Co-Drivers, with data analyzed using SEM-PLS version 4.0. The results indicate that compensation has a positive and significant effect on performance, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. Conversely, workload has a negative and significant impact on performance, also both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. These findings are expected to help the company address employee-related issues in order to optimize performance.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur yang dilaksanakan di PT Graha Damai Putra bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan arsip faktur pajak yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering menimbulkan kendala dalam proses pencarian, pengamanan, dan penyimpanan dokumen. Melihat tingginya volume transaksi pajak setiap bulan, perusahaan membutuhkan sistem arsip yang lebih terstruktur, mudah diakses, dan mendukung proses administrasi yang lebih cepat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tim pengabdian menerapkan metode pengarsipan berbasis abjad serta digitalisasi dokumen melalui pemindaian, penyimpanan terorganisir pada G-Drive, dan pemanfaatan Sistem Kode QR sebagai alat bantu identifikasi serta pelacakan dokumen. Seluruh kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendampingan langsung kepada karyawan agar mampu memahami dan mengoperasikan sistem baru secara optimal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, di mana proses pencarian dokumen menjadi lebih cepat, arsip tersusun rapi, dan meminimalkan risiko kehilangan dokumen fisik, sehingga mendukung transformasi digital perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi nyata berupa sistem otomatisasi, yang memungkinkan seluruh aktivitas penagihan Iuran Pengelolaan Lingkungan (IPL) dilakukan dengan lebih mudah, cepat, dan akurat. Hal ini seiring dengan berkembangnya transformasi digital yang menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi perusahaan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional. PT Graha Damai Putra sebagai pengembang kawasan hunian menghadapi tantangan dalam proses penagihan Iuran Pengelolaan Lingkungan (IPL) yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual yaitu pengiriman pesan satu per satu melalui WhatsApp. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi meliputi penyampaian materi, simulasi penggunaan, serta sesi tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa SIPEKA (Sistem Iuran Pengelolaan Lingkungan) membantu aktivitas penagihan secara otomatis, menghemat waktu lebih banyak dibandingkan metode manual, dan memberikan solusi yang efektif bagi para peserta. Kehadiran SIPEKA diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, meminimalkan kesalahan dalam proses penagihan, serta mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional di PT Graha Damai Putra secara berkelanjutan.
