Abstract

This abstract provides a concise overview of the research on the intersection between the Merdeka Curriculum and teaching challenges in the digital era in Indonesian secondary schools. Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian secondary schools coincides with the evolving landscape of education in the digital era. This research explores the intersection of these two factors, aiming to understand how the curriculum aligns with and addresses the teaching challenges posed by the digital era. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews with educators, document analysis, and surveys of secondary school students, this study examines the impacts, challenges, and opportunities presented by the Merdeka Curriculum in the context of the digital age. Preliminary findings suggest that the Merdeka Curriculum has positively influenced students' critical thinking and civic awareness. However, educators report challenges related to students' overreliance on digital devices, digital literacy, and the need to balance national identity with global perspectives. The research offers practical implications for curriculum development and policy recommendations to foster digital literacy, maintain a focus on critical thinking, and find a harmonious balance between national and global perspectives. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on curriculum adaptation to meet the demands of the digital era in Indonesian secondary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin dan motivasi terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 37 pegawai, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, (2) Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, dan (3) Disiplin kerja dan Motivasi Kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja Tenaga Kependidikan Di Bagian Keuangan Biro Umum dan Keuangan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain how the teacher's capacity to control the class affects the efficiency of student education. The research employs a quantitative approach employing descriptive techniques. It employs probability sampling, with a research sample of 70 students. The primary data collection technique employed is a survey, which is dispersed among students. To support the findings of the questionnaire data, interview methods and document studies were conducted. This research employs descriptive analysis and the classical assumption test as data analysis techniques. The findings of the study reveal that the teacher's ability to manage the class has a notable impact on the effectiveness of student learning. This is evident from the processing of data computed by SPSS via t-test statistical testing. The t-count value is greater than t-table, with a significance of 0.000. According to the test criteria t-count > t-table and if the significance is < α (0.05), H0 is rejected. The calculation of the coefficient of determination reveals that the teacher's capacity to manage the class has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of student learning.

Abstract

Technological infrastructure issues include hardware shortages, lack of skills and competencies in integrating digital technology into learning processes, lack of motivation and motivation for students to use digital technology in economic learning, insufficient integration of digital content, and unclear guidelines and policies from school authorities regarding digital integration in learning processes. This study aims to analyse the integration of digital technology in teaching economics to students of Gorontalo State University. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the integration of digital technology in teaching economics at Gorontalo State University has been carried out in several forms, such as the use of e-learning platforms, the utilisation of digital economic applications, and the development of digital content. The obstacles faced include infrastructure readiness, lecturer competence, and student interest in learning. Strategies to overcome these obstacles are improving digital facilities, training lecturers, and strengthening student learning motivation. This research implies that the integration of digital technology in teaching economics can improve the quality of learning and student competence, and support digital transformation in educational institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap perilaku konsumtif anak nelayan di Desa Botubarani Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya hidup terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Hal ini menunjukkan t hitung sebesar 13,182 dan nilai sinifikan 0,000 < 0,1 maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa gaya hidup berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya hidup memiliki kontribusi pada perilaku konsumtif anak nelayan dalam menentukan kegiatan ekonominya.Kata kunci: Gaya Hidup, Perilaku Konsumtif, Anak Nelayan

Abstract

Salah satu potensi laut yang biasa didapatkan oleh masyarakat nelayan di Desa Molamahu adalah penangkapan ikan. Masyarakat nelayan lebih dominan menangkap ikan daripada mengonsumsi ikan untuk kebutuhan pangan keluarga. Upaya peningkatan konsumsi ikan akan memberikan dampak pada kesehatan serta kecerdasan anak. Ikan yang merupakan pangan sumber protein ini memiliki kelemahan yaitu tidak dapat bertahan lama dan cepat mengalami kerusakan sehingga memerlukan pengolahan lebih lanjut. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi pentingnya konsumsi ikan dan cara pengolahan nugget ikan yang siap untuk dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat yang bernilai gizi tinggi. Mitra pengabdian ini yaitu masyarakat Desa Molamahu Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode pengabdian yang dilaksanakan yaitu metode pendidikan masyarakat terkait edukasi gemar makan ikan dan pelatihan pengolahan nugget ikan. Hasil pengabdian yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat di Desa Molamahu tentang pentingnya edukasi gemar makan ikan untuk pemenuhan gizi anak, adanya peningkatan keterampilan ibu nelayan Desa Molamahu dalam mengolah ikan sebagai potensi laut menjadi produk olahan nugget ikan, dan terbantunya pihak kepala desa dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kemandirian pangan di Desa Molamahu. One of the sea potentials that is commonly obtained by the fishing community in Molamahu Village is fishing. Fishing communities are more dominant in catching fish than consuming fish for family food needs. Efforts to increase fish consumption will have an impact on children's health and intelligence. Fish, which is a protein source food, has a weakness that it cannot last long and quickly deteriorates, so it requires further processing. The purpose of community service is to provide education on the importance of fish consumption and how to process fish nuggets that are ready to be consumed by the community with high nutritional value. This service partner is the community of Molamahu Village, Bone Bolango Regency. The service method carried out is a community education method related to education on fish eating and fish nugget processing training. The results of the service are an increase in the understanding of the community in Molamahu Village about the importance of education to eat fish for the fulfillment of children's nutrition, the improvement of the skills of Molamahu Village fishermen in processing fish as a potential of the sea into processed fish nugget products, and the assistance of the village head and the community in increasing food independence in Molamahu Village.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of using the Plickers Application in evaluating Integrated Social Science Learning at SMP Negeri 2 Bolaang Mongondow Utara, North Sulawesi. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive method. By interviewing the school principal, head of curriculum, head of facilities and infrastructure, social studies teacher and 4 class VIII students. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research findings indicate that the use of Plickers application in evaluating Integrated Social Science learning at SMP Negeri 2 North Bolaang Mongondow encompasses several stages, namely the preparation or planning stage, implementing the Plickers application in class, learning evaluation and student assessment results using the Plickers application. In addition, the use of Plickers application in evaluating learning in the classroom will make it easier and shorten the time during the evaluation process. Also, the application makes the evaluation more effective and efficient. Apart from that, this digital application-based assessment model helps students to not get bored easily and are enthusiastic about taking part in the evaluation. This condition is noticeable from several interviews conducted by researchers with several class VIII students. In the meantime, one of the supporting factors needed when carrying out learning evaluations using the Plickers application is the availability of facility and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 2 Bolaang Mongondow Utara. Another supporting factor includes the availability of adequate technological infrastructure such as projectors, computers and stable internet connections can support the use of the Plickers in learning evaluation. Thus, adequate facilities, equipment and infrastructure make it possible for teachers to easily access and use this application.

Abstract

The expansion of information technology fundamentally alters business operations and social interactions. For MSMEs, e-commerce is emerging as a significant force in digital marketing. Skills deficiencies in technology and restricted market access are obstacles. Mobile e-commerce application adoption offers substantial advantages, including access to international markets, enhanced operational effectiveness, and increased consumer involvement. Adoption of these applications increases the sales and operational efficacy of MSMEs, according to research. For MSMEs, the adoption of mobile e-commerce creates economic expansion and business opportunities. In order to create mobile e-commerce applications that are adaptable to market shifts and user demands, R&D is utilized. The primary functionalities of the application implementation outcomes are as follows user registration, order management, login, item data management, sales, payments, and transaction reports. The application is designed using the UML methodology, which depicts purchasers and system administrators as well as actions that can be executed based on feature requirements.

Abstract

The low ability of students to think creatively in analyzing problems and the lack of optimal application of learning strategies in Problem Based Learning (PBL) cause students' learning outcomes to not be maximized. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of mind mapping in improving students' creative thinking skills in the PBL learning model. This study uses a pre-experimental design method with a one-group pre-test – post-test design. The population as well as the sample in this study are students of grade XI. The data collection instrument is in the form of a description test given to students before and after learning. The data was analyzed using the average pre-test and post-test scores, normality test, homogeneity test, and one sample T-test. The results of the study show that the application of mind mapping techniques has a significant effect on improving students' creative thinking skills in the PBL learning model. In conclusion, the use of mind mapping helps students understand concepts, improve critical thinking skills, and encourage creativity in problem-solving. This research implies the importance of integrating innovative learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the spread of covid-19 has a very deep impact on economic activity. south sulawesi province is one of the provinces whose economic growth is always above the national average also feels the impact of covid-19. HDI, poverty and unemployment are the variables that have the greatest impact. It is interesting to observe the economic variables of the South Sulawesi province during the Covid-19 period because it is one of the regions that has realistically high economic development every year. This study uses a cross-section of 24 districts/cities in South Sulawesi Province and a three-year time series 2020-2022 using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. Fixed Effects Model in panel data analysis was used to analyze the data to observe the effect of HDI and poverty on the open unemployment rate. Based on the research findings, poverty has a negative and insignificant effect on open unemployment in South Sulawesi Province, while the human development index has a negative and significant effect on open unemployment.
