Abstract

In Indonesia, the potential for funding educational initiatives through the empowerment of cash waqf is considerable, with estimates reaching up to IDR 120 trillion annually. As of March 2022, cash waqf collections amounted to IDR 1.4 trillion, a notable increase from the IDR 855 billion accumulated between 2018 and 2021. Despite this growth, cash waqf collections remain far below their potential, limiting their impact on educational empowerment. While various researchers have proposed strategies to address these obstacles, there is a paucity of research on an ideal model for empowering education through cash waqf in Indonesia. This study aims to develop a model for the empowerment of cash waqf specifically for educational programs in Indonesia. The research utilizes the Analytic Network Process (ANP) methodology, aided by Super Decision software, which is a decision-making method based on priority scales. The study conducts a synthesis analysis of problems, solutions, and strategies related to this issue. The findings indicate that both internal and external challenges affect the empowerment of cash waqf in education, with management being the primary concern. Relevant strategies include waqf policy enhancement, nazhir (waqf managers) training and empowerment, strengthening educational programs, and promoting cash waqf. An investment-based model, coupled with partnerships, scholarships, and educational initiatives, offers insights into the management of cash waqf, from collection processes to empowerment within the educational sector.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of macroeconomic variables on the Human Development Index (HDI) in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries with political stability as the moderating variable. The GMM (Generalized Method Moment) dynamic panel and the MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis) will be used for determining the type of moderation needed as analysis techniques. In the first section, the findings state that inflation and unemployment have no effect on HDI, This is due to the fact that inflation and unemployment are very dependent on global economic fluctuation. Meanwhile, trade openness has a significant positive effect on HDI and foreign direct investment has a significant negative effect on HDI. This can add to the evidence that a high level of trade openness can support HDI values in OIC countries. Trade Openness can strengthen the economy, education, and health simultaneously by increasing prosperity through increased demand, supply, and services in numerous sectors. Secondly, the value of the moderator variable (political stability) on the relationship between unemployment and HDI demonstrates that political stability acts as a "Quasi Moderator" which means that political instability can exacerbate the negative influence of unemployment on HDI in OIC countries. This research has implications for the importance of cooperation between OIC countries in various fields, especially in increasing trade, investment, job creation and good governance to support the expansion of human development in OIC nations and to build sustainable prosperity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT - This study refines Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a strategic approach for the digital era. It proposes Customer Data Protection (CDP) as a crucial new dimension for a more holistic CRM framework. This revised framework addresses inconsistencies in past CRM definitions, which have contributed to implementation failures across industries. The urgency for this refinement is further emphasized by Indonesia's weak data security landscape. Employing a quantitative survey methodology, the study gathers data from 412 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is then utilized to analyze each CRM dimension within the collected data. The empirical findings establish five significant dimensions of CRM, forming a strategic framework referred to as the "5C CRM." This framework encompasses processes for cultivating positive stakeholder relationships, preserving company value, and ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. From an Islamic perspective, data protection aligns with the Maqāṣid Sharia principle of hifdz al-nafs (protecting life). By securing customer data, companies safeguard customers from potential dangers associated with cybercrime and unauthorized access. This aligns with the Quranic verse An-Nur:27, which emphasizes seeking permission before entry. This verse signifies the company's responsibility to secure and protect customer data from unauthorized access. Ultimately, businesses that actively safeguard personal information are more likely to cultivate customer satisfaction and loyalty. The findings suggest that prioritizing data security not only aligns with Islamic principles but also fosters stronger customer relationships.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK - Redefinisi CRM untuk Era Digital: Peran Perlindungan Data Konsumen dalam Perspektif Islam.

Abstract

It can be said that the sharia-based economy in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth over the past few years, so it has bright future prospects. With the largest Muslim population in the world, strong government support, the growth of the Islamic finance industry, and global market potential, an economy based on sharia principles has a high opportunity to continue to grow and contribute to state revenues. But besides that, economic development with sharia principles also has several challenges that need to be faced, such as the lack of public understanding and infrastructure development that still needs to be improved. Based on this, researchers will conduct an analysis of the opportunities and challenges of sharia-compliant economic development in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to make the public understand more about the future prospects of the Islamic economy in Indonesia. This study aims to find out about the opportunities and challenges of developing the Islamic economy in Indonesia with data acquisition techniques using secondary data obtained through journals, official websites, and other literature that has relevance to the topic

Abstract

The study examines factors that influence the Indonesian Human Development Index using the Maqashid Sharia approach. This study's sample is made up of several provinces with the Human Development Index for different categories of people. Data analysis employs a panel data regression model with a fixed effect model. The study's findings indicate that whereas variables Hifzu al-din, Hifzu al-aql, and Hifzu al-mal have a significant impact on the Index of Human Development, variables Hifzu al-nafs and Hifzu al-nasl have no significant impact on the Index of Human Development. Simultaneously, the variables Hifzu al-din, Hifzu al-nafs, Hifzu al-aql, Hifzu al-nasl, and Hifzu al-mal exhibit significant effects on the Human Development Index. Results of the determination test show that 98% of independent variables can influence dependent variables, with the remaining 2% being affected by variables not examined in this study. The study's findings recommended to the government that they support Hifzu Al-din in reducing crime rates, Hifzu Al-Aql by increasing the average length of schooling, and Hifzu Al-Mal in raising per capita income. By paying more attention to these issues, human development will eventually reach its full potential.
