Abstract

Bulu Village, Sugihwaras District, Bojonegoro Regency, is an agricultural village with abundant natural resource potential, including tobacco. However, community agricultural practices still rely heavily on the use of chemical pesticides, which are relatively expensive and carry the risk of negative impacts on human health and environmental sustainability. This situation prompted the implementation of a community service program in the form of training in the manufacture of natural pesticides from jadam sulfur and tobacco leaves using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. This approach was chosen because it focuses on exploring and optimizing local assets, both in the form of natural materials and community social skills. The training activities were attended by farmer groups and youth organizations (Karang Taruna), which play a crucial role in the program's sustainability. The training materials included theories on the dangers of chemical pesticides, the advantages of natural pesticides, and hands-on practice in making pesticides from jadam sulfur and tobacco leaves. Evaluation of the activities was carried out through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to participants. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in farmers' knowledge about environmentally friendly pesticides, skills in making natural pesticides, and growing awareness of the importance of sustainable agriculture. In addition, the involvement of Karang Taruna strengthens the sustainability of the program through regeneration and ongoing mentoring. Overall, this training demonstrated the effectiveness of the ABCD approach in optimizing local potential to produce more economical, healthy, and environmentally friendly agricultural innovations. Thus, this program not only supports increased agricultural productivity but also contributes to the broader well-being of rural communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of early financial literacy guidance activities in fostering a saving culture among elementary school students in Bulu Village, Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro. Using a descriptive-quantitative approach, the study measures changes in students’ knowledge, attitudes, and saving behavior after participating in the program. Data were collected through observation, pretest–posttest questionnaires, and teacher and parent assessments using a Likert scale. The results show a significant increase in students’ knowledge and attitudes toward financial literacy, with the average pretest score rising from 62.8 to 83.5 in the posttest (p-value = 0.001 < 0.05). This indicates that the guidance activities positively influenced students’ understanding and attitudes in managing their pocket money. In terms of saving behavior, 78.3% of students began saving regularly with an average weekly balance of IDR 12,000. This behavioral change is also reflected in the increased frequency of saving, consistency in maintaining savings, and the ability to set simple financial goals. In addition to the impact on students, the program also received positive responses from teachers and parents. The average teacher satisfaction score reached 4.47, while parental support scored 4.04. The highest-rated aspects among teachers were the material (4.83) and the program’s results (4.76), while parents gave the highest score to the results (4.59). These findings indicate that the financial literacy guidance was perceived as relevant, engaging, and impactful in changing students’ behavior. The implications of this study show that early financial literacy education not only enhances knowledge but also fosters responsible financial character through sustainable saving habits. The program’s success was supported by collaboration among schools, teachers, and parents, contributing to the strengthening of economic character education in elementary schools. Evaluation through weekly savings monitoring, pretest–posttest comparisons, and reflections from teachers and parents showed that the program effectively instilled values of discipline, responsibility, and financial awareness in children. Thus, the activity successfully established a sustainable saving culture as the foundation for healthy economic behavior among the younger generation.

Abstract

Slang is also referred to as a secret language, or used by certain circles or communities. The purpose of this study is to examine slang based on patterns, sources, context and purpose of use. This study uses qualitative descriptive research, which describes the phenomenon of slang used by gen z adolescents in Southwest Papua. Documentation, observation, recording, and interviews with 35 teenagers who regularly use slang are used as data gathering techniques. WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter, and Discord are used as data sources. The period of data collecting was five months, from October 12, 2022, to February 12, 2023. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method. According to the findings of data analysis on slang, there were 31 discovered three types, namely the development of form. (1) clipping, (2) blending, (3) borrowing. The results of the data analysis revealed a variety of information on Southwest Papuan slang used by Generation Z based on the language's origins, particularly Indonesian, foreign languages, and regional languages. The context of slang use takes place in (1) Calls for familiarity, (2) responding to likes and dislikes, and (3) responding to admiration. the purpose of using the slang they use to (1) validate their group (2) look cool or dashing

Abstract

Abstrak. Pancasila merupakan Ideologi Negara Indonesia yang digunakan untuk mengatur dan memelihara kehidupan bernegara. Implementasi Pancasila terutama sila kelima yang berbunyi "Keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia" khususnya dalam bidang perekonomian. Keberadaan cabai yang sangat melimpah menjadi potensi bagi masyarakat Desa Semen untuk mengolah produk cabai tersebut menjadi sambal kemasan yang menarik dan praktis. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi perencanaan, persiapan, dan pelaksanaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya pelatihan pembuatan sambal kemasan kepada masyarakat dapat memberikan bekal wawasan dan ketrampilan untuk membuka usaha sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan bersama. Abstract. Pancasila is the Indonesian State Idelogy which is used to regulate and maintain the life of the state. The implementation of Pancasila, especially the fifth precept which reads “Social Justice for all Indonesian people”, especially in the economic field. The abundant presence of chili pappers is a potential for the people of Semen Village to process chili products into attractive and practical packaged chili sauce. The research method used includes planning, preparation, and implementation. Abstract

This study aims to examine and prove the effect of tourist visits on the night of legi friday on increasing the turnover of merchants souvenirs in the religious tourism of the Sunan Giri Gresik. This research is especially important to find out about the positive changes that occur in the turnover of merchants souvenirs in the religious tourism of the Sunan Giri Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with simple linear analysis. The number of samples taken was 65 respondents and data collection was done by questionnaire to obtain data. Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) The effect of responsibility on customer satisfaction at PT. Mitra Pinastika Mustika Kebomas Gresik. (2) Effect of justice on consumer satisfaction at PT. Mitra Pinastika Mustika Kebomas Gresik. (3) The effect of responsibility and justice simultaneously on cunsumer satisfaction at PT. Mitra Pinastika Mustika Kebomas Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. This study randomly collected 70 respondents. Test the validity of the instrument using the product moment while the reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha. The analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. The results of the study found that (1) the variable responsibility (X1) partially had a significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y) as evidenced by the value obtained by tcount X1 of 7.411 and ttable of 1.667. (2)  responsibility variable (X2) partially has a significant effect on cunsumer satisfaction (Y) as evidenced by the value obtained by tcount X2 of 4.936 and ttable of 1.667. While the variables of responsibility (X1) and justice (X2) simultaneously have a significant influence on cunsumer satisfaction (Y). This is evidenced by the Fcount value of 85.862 Ftable of 3.13. Keywords: Responsibility, Justice, Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus tentang urgensi psikologi komunikasi dalam layanan konseling individu yang diterapkan oleh guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di MTs Islamiyah Banjarjo Sumberrejo Bojonegoro dengan tujuan mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh peserta didik. Tujuan utama layanan ini juga mencakup pemahaman peran guru dalam lingkungan sekolah dan pengumpulan data terkait masalah tertentu untuk mencari solusi dari berbagai jenis permasalahan di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peserta didik mengalami masalah, tidak menyelesaikan tugas, sering terlambat, atau bahkan tidak aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta lebih memilih tugas yang lebih menyenangkan dari pada yang seharusnya dilakukan. Strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh konselor atau guru BK adalah pertama, mengubah opini peserta didik (To Change the Opinion) atau memberikan transfer pokok-pokok pengetahuan tertentu agar peserta didik termotivasi untuk memperluas pengetahuannya, sehingga pada gilirannya, diharapkan secara sadar mereka mengubah opininya terhadap sesuatu hal yang dianggap salah. Kedua, mengubah sikap peserta didik (How to Change the Attitude) atau proses mental yang menuju pada perubahan dari opini ke sikap, yang nantinya akan menjadi nyata dalam wujud perilaku dalam rentang waktu tertentu. Kegiatan komunikasi pada tahap ini menjadi sangat penting karena bila sikap sudah berubah di dalamnya sekaligus terjadi proses untuk sampai kepada perwujudan perilaku.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMKN 1 Karawang pada tahun akademik 2022/2023. Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran, bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan mengatasi tantangan yang muncul selama pandemi COVID-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum ini meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan pengembangan keterampilan kritis. Guru diberikan kebebasan menyesuaikan metode pengajaran dengan kebutuhan dan minat siswa, yang meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar. Namun, beberapa tantangan utama dihadapi, seperti adaptasi terhadap pembelajaran daring, keterbatasan kemampuan digital guru dan siswa, serta infrastruktur teknologi yang kurang memadai. Keberhasilan kurikulum ini sangat bergantung pada kesiapan dan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran yang sesuai. Upaya berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk pelatihan intensif guru, dukungan teknis yang memadai, peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi, serta kolaborasi dan komunikasi yang lebih baik antara guru dan siswa. Dengan persiapan dan komitmen yang tepat, Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, menciptakan generasi yang lebih kompeten dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

The community service program aims to increase the capacity of youth organizations (OKP) in Wasior District, Teluk Wondama Regency, through training in preparing activity proposals. Based on the observations, problems were found in preparing proposals for most OKPs, such as a mismatch between content and objectives, technical errors, and a lack of ability to use information technology. This program is implemented through several stages: planning, training, mentoring, and reporting. The training material includes using computers, preparing proposals using Microsoft Word, writing official letters, and understanding the urgency of proposals in organizations. This training improved OKP's technical and managerial capabilities, measured through monitoring and evaluation. It is also hoped that the results of this service can become a model for empowering other youth organizations, especially in remote areas.

Abstract

In cross-cultural studies, understanding the nuances of apologies in various languages is crucial to reducing misunderstandings and enhancing interpersonal relationships. This research employs a qualitative method by comparing the speech act of apology in Indonesian and English, focusing on linguistic structures, social contexts, and communication strategies. By analyzing expressions of apology in the Indonesian comic House Daddy and the English comic I Hate That I Love You, the study highlights cultural differences and their impact on the ability to express apologies and repair relationships. The findings reveal similarities and differences: both languages emphasize politeness, tone of speech, and providing reasons in apologies, but differ in gender perspectives, indirect apology strategies, cultural contexts, and intonation expressions. This study contributes to the fields of pragmatics and sociolinguistics by offering insights into how cultural nuances shape communication, with implications for enhancing cross-cultural interactions.
