Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the legal accountability in cases of embezzlement crimes. The significance of conducting this research lies in the fact that embezzlement is one of the criminal acts that frequently occur across various segments of society. This type of research is classified as empirical juridical research. The research findings indicate that embezzlement is a criminal act closely related to wealth or property, which often occurs within the community, alongside other criminal acts such as theft under Article 362 of the Criminal Code, extortion under Article 268 of the Criminal Code, and fraudulent activities under Article 378 of the Criminal Code. Perpetrators of embezzlement can face criminal sanctions based on the provisions found in Article 372, Article 373, Article 374, Article 375, and Article 376 of the Criminal Code. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji tentang pertanggungjawaban hukum dalam tindak pidana penggelapan. Pentingnya mengakngkat penelitian ini karena tindak pidana penggelapan merupakan salah satu tindak pidana yang banyak terjadi di seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini dalah jenis penelitian yuridis empiris. Hasil penelitiannya adalah tindak pidana penggelapan adalah suatu tindak pidana yang erat kaitannya dengan harta kekayaan atau harta benda, yang sering terjadi di dalam kehidupam masyarakat, disamping tindak pidana lainnya seperti pencurian dalam Pasal 362 KUHP, pemerasan dalam Pasal 268 KUHP, dan juga perbuatan curang dalam Pasal 378 KUHP. Pelaku tindak pidana penggelapan dapat diancam dengan sanksi pidana berdasarkan ketentuan yang terdapat dalam Pasal 372, Pasal 373, Pasal 374, Pasal 375 dan 376 KUHP.

Abstract

Diversion is a mechanism for resolving juvenile cases outside the formal judicial process, as regulated in Law Number 11 of 2012 on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (UU SPPA). The primary objective of diversion is to protect children from the negative impacts of the criminal justice system and provide rehabilitation opportunities within the framework of restorative justice. However, its effectiveness remains debatable due to limited understanding among law enforcement officers, inadequate rehabilitation facilities, and societal resistance toward this approach. This study employs a normative juridical method using a statutory approach and case studies of court decisions on diversion. The findings reveal that despite its implementation, diversion has not been optimally executed due to legal interpretation inconsistencies, lack of rehabilitation infrastructure, and minimal victim involvement in case resolution. Therefore, policy reforms are necessary, including capacity-building for law enforcement, strengthening rehabilitation facilities, and optimizing victim and community participation in the diversion process. These measures aim to enhance diversion as a more effective restorative justice instrument within Indonesia's juvenile criminal justice system.

Abstract

This study explores the tension between freedom of expression and the enforcement of criminal law in the digital space, using a case study of political memes depicting national figures Prabowo Subianto and Joko Widodo in a satirical context. The case sparked controversy after law enforcement authorities applied morality provisions from Indonesia's Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), which many experts consider irrelevant to the substance of the content. Employing a qualitative approach through literature review, the analysis is framed within three theoretical perspectives: Constitutional Democracy Theory, Human Rights Theory, and Criminal Law Theory. The findings reveal that the application of ambiguous provisions in the UU ITE to digital expression has the potential to violate the rule of law, restrict civil liberties, and create a chilling effect on citizens' political participation. Consequently, this study recommends legal reform and the enhancement of digital literacy as strategies to strengthen constitutional democracy in the digital era.

Abstract

This study explores the Bubus Dise traditional ceremony in Batujai Village, Central Lombok, and analyzes its potential as both a cultural heritage asset and a sustainable tourist attraction. The Bubus Dise ceremony is a sacred ritual the local community performs to purify the village from misfortune, disease, and negative spiritual influences. Beyond its ritualistic function, the ceremony strengthens the community’s social bonds and spiritual values. The research employed a qualitative descriptive methodology, incorporating observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders and cultural practitioners, and a review of relevant literature. The findings reveal that the Bubus Dise tradition holds substantial potential as a cultural tourism offering. It not only preserves the unique cultural identity of the village but also contributes to the local economy through tourism-related opportunities. Moreover, the tradition aligns with the principles of sustainable tourism, particularly through its emphasis on cleanliness, greening efforts, and the integration of the “Seven Charms” tourism development programs. Despite these opportunities, the ceremony faces challenges due to modernization and the growing influence of commercial tourism, which may risk diluting its authenticity. The study concludes by offering recommendations to support the sustainable development of Bubus Dise as a cultural tourism attraction. These include community-based tourism planning, heritage preservation initiatives, and policy support to maintain cultural integrity while promoting responsible tourism.

Abstract

Merokok dianggap suatu hal yang biasa, perokoknyapun dari berbagi usia termasuk remaja yang masih menduduki bangku sekolah (siswa). Siswa yang merokok seringkali tidak mengenal tempat untuk merokok, seperti merokok di sekolah. Hal ini menjadi masalah yang sangat penting untuk ditangani karena selain membuat siswa tidak taat peraturan juga dapat berakibat bagi kesehatan dirinya maupun orang yang berada didekatnya. Penelitiaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bimbingan kelompok teknik kognitif perilaku untuk mereduksi perilaku merokok siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Kanor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-expermental desigen dengan jenis desain one droup pretest-posttes desigen. Uji analisis data dengan rumusan mann whitniy u test diketahui nilai U sebesar 0,000, nilai W sebesar 21,000, dan jika dikonversikan ke nilai Z sebesar -2,892 dengan nilai mean pretest 9,50 dan mean posttest 3,50. Pada hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa hasil postest mengalami penurunan setelah dilakukan 3 kali pertemuan untuk melakukan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik kognitif perilaku. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah 0,002 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai sing 0,002 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa antara sebelum treatment dan setelah treatment ada perubahan, sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk mereduksi perilaku merokok pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Kanor Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Stereotypes held by counselors can negatively influence the selection of service interventions and hinder the effectiveness of counseling. Therefore, strengthening multicultural understanding is essential to shaping counselor character that reflects openness, sensitivity, and responsiveness to cultural diversity. This study aims to explore the characteristics of multicultural counselors by integrating noble cultural values of the Samin tribe in Bojonegoro, Indonesia, with multicultural counseling competencies. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA model. A total of 120 articles were initially collected from various sources, including journals, books, and reputable conference proceedings indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar. Following a rigorous screening process based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 14 articles were identified as eligible for further analysis. Data were analyzed through thematic content analysis to identify cultural values relevant to counselor competencies. The findings highlight three key values of Samin teachings: (1) angger-angger pengucap (wise use of words), which aligns with effective communication and cultural sensitivity; (2) angger-angger pertikel (appropriate behavior), which relates to ethical conduct and counselor integrity; and (3) angger-angger lakunono (adherence to norms), which supports counselors’ commitment to justice and cultural respect. These values, when applied, can enhance counselors’ multicultural competencies, particularly in fostering non-judgmental attitudes and empathy toward diverse clients. The implication of this study is that integrating local wisdom, such as the Samin tribe’s cultural values, offers a contextualized approach for developing the character of multicultural counselors, making them more relevant and effective in addressing the challenges of today’s diverse societies.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing issues of intolerance and the decline in social sensitivity among elementary school children, which have implications for the weakening of empathy and cooperation skills within the learning environment. The study aims to identify the effectiveness of applying social guidance through the Circle Time technique in elementary school, fostering tolerance and empathy from an early age. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach, encompassing the identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of ten relevant articles published between 2015 and 2024 concerning children’s social-emotional education, Circle Time, and character learning in elementary education. The analysis results indicate that Circle Time is highly effective in enhancing positive student interactions, fostering active listening skills, promoting respect for differences, and strengthening children's emotional and social awareness. The findings also reveal that the success of this technique largely depends on teachers’ competence in managing group dynamics and creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment. The discussion emphasizes that social guidance based on the Circle Time approach serves not only as a pedagogical strategy but also as a preventive intervention against discriminatory behavior and student conflicts. Implicatively, the study recommends integrating the Circle Time program into the elementary school counseling curriculum to shape students' adaptive, tolerant, and empathetic social and emotional character in today's multicultural era.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan pojok literasi dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa adalah sebuah progam krusial yang perlu dijalankan oleh sekolah dalam memanfaatkan pojok literasi guna menumbuhkan minat baca siswa. Oleh sebab itu, ketertarikan untuk membaca dapat diperkuat lebih lanjud jika didukung dengan adanya program pojok literasi didalam kelas, tentu ini sangat diharapkan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang baik terutama untuk menumbuhkan minat baca siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ‘’pemanfaatan pojok literasi dalam menumbuhkan minat baca siswa kelas IV-B Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Sorong’’. Studi ini menerapkan metode deskripsi dengan metode kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, Wali guru kelas IV-B dan siswa kelas IV-B. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Angket, Wawancara dan Observasi. Manfaat tersebut yaitu: 1) sebagai kegiatan menumbuhkan minat baca. 2) Sebagai tempat membaca terdekat, dan 3) sebagai tempat mengisi waktu luang, Selain itu Hasil angket menunjukan persentase nilai rata-rata keseluruhan yang diperoleh adalah 83,5 termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Secara keseluruhan bahwa hasil angket minat baca dengan memanfaatkan pojok literasi adalah sangat kuat.

Abstract

Efisiensi mesin CNC Milling sangat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas industri manufaktur. Penurunan kinerja mesin sering terjadi akibat gangguan operasional yang belum dianalisis secara sistematis. Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Six Big Losses digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas mesin serta mengidentifikasi sumber utama kehilangan efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi mesin CNC Milling berdasarkan nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Six Big Losses selama periode Januari hingga Juni. OEE dihitung berdasarkan tiga parameter utama, yaitu Availability Rate, Performance Efficiency, dan Rate of Quality. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata Availability mencapai 99%, Rate of Quality 100%, dan Performance Efficiency sebesar 84,67%, dengan nilai OEE rata-rata sebesar 83,83%. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa performa mesin berada pada kategori baik, namun belum mencapai standar kelas dunia. Faktor utama yang menurunkan OEE adalah efisiensi performa yang masih di bawah optimal. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kerugian terbesar berasal dari kategori Speed Losses, yaitu Idle and Minor Stoppages (41,72%) dan Reduce Speed Losses (35,35%), dengan total kontribusi 77,07% terhadap waktu kerugian. Downtime Losses menyumbang 22,93%, sementara Defect Losses tidak tercatat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa efisiensi mesin lebih dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan kerja dan gangguan kecil dibandingkan kerusakan atau cacat produk. Optimalisasi proses operasi dan penerapan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas mesin. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan efisiensi kerja dan pengurangan hambatan minor perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efektivitas mesin secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to evaluate the usefulness of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) combined with artificial intelligence (AI) tools in enhancing pre-service teachers' critical thinking and self-efficacy inside an instructional design course.Methodology – A pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was applied. The study involved 46 pre-service teachers engaged in an instructional design course at a private university in Indonesia, chosen using purposive sampling. Two instruments were used: a 25-item critical thinking questionnaire and a 10-item self-efficacy scale. Normality tests were conducted, followed by paired-sample t-tests to determine differences between pre-test and post-test scores.Findings – The findings showed a statistically significant improvement in both critical thinking (t = -116.464, p < .001) and self-efficacy (t = -56.328, p < .001) after the AI-supported PBL intervention. The normality assumptions were met, and the effect size was notably strong for both variables. These results suggest that incorporating AI technologies into project-based learning can significantly improve pre-service teachers' cognitive and emotional preparedness for future teaching practices.Contribution – This study contributes to the teacher education literature by providing empirical evidence for the integration of AI technologies in project-based learning, promoting critical thinking and self-efficacy. It offers practical insights for instructional designers and educators seeking to equip future teachers with the competencies required in technologically rich educational environments.
