Abstract

Anggur memiliki prospek yang baik di Indonesia. Kendala pengembangan tanaman anggur adalah ketersediaan bahan tanam yang berkualitas baik. Upaya menyediakan bahan tanam anggur salah satunya adalah dengan stek batang. Pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh dapat meningkatkan persentase pertumbuhan stek. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman stek anggur terhadap interaksi zat perangsang akar dan pupuk organik. Penelitian dilakukan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Samudra pada Maret-Mei 2023. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah zat perangsang akar yang terdiri 3 taraf yaitu air kelapa, madu dan ekstrak bawang merah. Faktor kedua yaitu pupuk kandang yang terdiri 4 taraf: pupuk kandang sapi, pupuk kandang ayam, pupuk kandang kambing dan kascing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi kedua faktor perlakuan. Perlakuan jenis zat perangsang akar berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan, sementara perlakuan jenis pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase tumbuh. Perlakuan K4 (pupuk kascing) mengakibatkan persentase tumbuh stek anggur lebih tinggi dibanding pupuk kandang sapi dan ayam, tetapi tidak berbeda dengan pupuk kandang kambing.

Abstract

Analisis konfigurasi bahan bakar terhadap produktivitas fisil pada Fast Breeder Reaktor (FBR) telah dilakukan. Konfigurasi bahan bakar dirancang dalam 5 variasi dengan 2 kategori yaitu konfigurasi homogen (inner dan outer) serta heterogen dengan fraksi bahan bakar yang sama yaitu 45 %. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan metode komputasi menggunakan kode FI-ITB.CHI yang dikembangkan dalam bahasa pemrograman Borland Delphi 7.0 Bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah campuran uranium-plutonium nitrida (Un-PuN) dan pendingin timbal bismuth (Pb-Bi) pada teras reaktor 2-D (dua dimensi) geometri r-z (silinder). Hasil perhitungan difusi neutronik menunjukkan bahwa pada semua konfigurasi bahan bakar yang diamati diperoleh nilai kritikalitas teras melalui pengaturan fraksi pengayaan (enrichment) pada setiap bagian teras. Fraksi pengayaan rata-rata yang terkecil untuk mencapai keadaan kritis ditunjukkan pada konfigurasi homogen-outer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai distribusi fluks neutron yang paling tinggi diperoleh pada konfigurasi heterogen dan nilai distribusi daya dengan nilai power peaking factor (ppf) terendah diperoleh pada konfigurasi homogen. Nilai densitas atom bahan fisil yaitu 239Pu paling besar peningkatannya terjadi pada konfigurasi homogen-inner 2 sebagai hasil reaksi fisi bahan bakar setelah 1 siklus (4 tahun) operasi. Nilai BreedingRatio (BR) untuk seluruh konfigurasi bahan bakar masih dalam rentang nilai yang diharapkan (BR>1) namun nilai BR paling baik ditunjukkan pada konfigurasi homogen-inner 2 yaitu dengan nilai 1,17.Kata kunci: FBR, konfigurasi bahan bakar, fisil, breeding ratio.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola perilaku mahasiswa, termasuk dalam fenomena meningkatnya keterlibatan dalam judi online. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara dalam judi online serta dampak psikologis dan sosial yang ditimbulkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam judi online adalah pengaruh teman sebaya dan media sosial, rasa penasaran, tekanan lingkungan, harapan mendapatkan uang instan, kebutuhan pengakuan sosial, dan kondisi ekonomi tidak stabil. Dampak psikologis yang ditimbulkan meliputi ketidakstabilan emosi, gangguan pola tidur, penurunan konsentrasi belajar, stres, dan gejala depresi. Dampak sosial berupa kerusakan hubungan dengan keluarga dan teman, kebiasaan berbohong, isolasi diri, dan perubahan sikap negatif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya intervensi psikologis dan sosial melalui konseling kelompok, terapi kognitif perilaku, dan peningkatan literasi emosional untuk membantu mahasiswa membangun kontrol diri dan keluar dari lingkaran kecanduan judi online.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are traumatic events that cause not only physical injuries but also significant psychological impacts, especially among university students. This study aims to describe the forms of acute trauma experienced by students of the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra after experiencing traffic accidents, as well as to examine the impact of acute trauma on students’ psychological, academic, and social conditions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews with two students who had experienced traffic accidents. The findings indicate that the acute trauma experienced by students is more dominant in psychological aspects than physical injuries. The symptoms include excessive fear and anxiety, sleep disturbances, recurring traumatic memories, difficulty concentrating, and heightened vigilance when being on the road. Acute trauma affects academic life through decreased concentration and class attendance for some participants, and social life through temporary social withdrawal or, conversely, increased support from family and friends. In coping with trauma, students employ adaptive coping strategies such as social support, spiritual approaches, engaging in positive activities, and gradual emotional regulation. This study highlights the importance of paying attention to students’ mental health after traffic accidents and the need for trauma counseling and support services within the university environment.

Abstract

Learning independence is one of the important competencies that students must have when undergoing education at Islamic boarding schools. The Islamic boarding school environment is not only a place for the transfer of knowledge, but also a means of forming character, discipline and responsibility. This research aims to find out how the Amindy Barokah Islamic Boarding School environment increases students' learning independence through learning habits, time management, and spiritual formation. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The results of the research show that students' learning independence is formed from the start of their boarding school, they are accustomed to it through a strict schedule, learning activities outside formal hours, the example of the ustadz, and guidance to face the challenges of adolescence. Santri also show high initiative when facing learning difficulties. Thus, the Islamic boarding school environment has a significant role in creating students who are independent and responsible in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of excessive cellphone use on the level of self-confidence of 9th grade students. High cellphone use among adolescents is often associated with decreased social interaction, increased anxiety, and reduced self-confidence. The study used a quantitative approach with a two-variable questionnaire instrument, namely the intensity of cellphone use and the level of self-confidence. The results of the study showed that excessive cellphone use has a negative relationship with students' level of self-confidence. The higher the intensity of cellphone use, the lower the students' self-confidence.

Abstract

Authoritarian parenting, characterized by strict control, high demands for compliance, and minimal emotional support, can lead to emotional wounds in childhood (inner child) that persist into adulthood. This condition results in low self-confidence, anxiety, difficulty managing emotions, and barriers to expressing feelings. This study aims to describe the forms of inner child problems resulting from authoritarian parenting, the individual counseling process used to help overcome these problems, and the changes experienced by clients after individual counseling. The study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. The subjects consisted of three individuals with a history of authoritarian parenting and who had participated in individual counseling services. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations during the counseling process, and counseling notes. The results indicate that individual counseling plays a crucial role in helping clients understand inner child wounds, validate repressed emotions, and increase self-awareness and self-acceptance. After counseling, clients demonstrated improved emotional regulation skills, increased courage to express feelings, and decreased anxiety.

Abstract

Childhood trauma is a negative early-life experience that can significantly disrupt an individual’s psychological development and influence later stages of life. This study aims to analyze the impact of childhood trauma on the mental health recovery process of university students. The focus of this research includes the types of trauma experienced, the psychological mechanisms affected, and the challenges that arise during the recovery process within the academic environment. This study employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with students who have a history of childhood traumatic experiences. The findings indicate that childhood trauma can impair emotional regulation, increase levels of anxiety and academic stress, and reduce self-confidence in forming social relationships on campus. Nevertheless, social support, counseling services, and a responsive campus environment play a crucial role in strengthening students’ mental health recovery. These results highlight the importance of early trauma intervention and adequate psychological support services to promote long-term mental well-being among university students.
