Main Findings: The study reveals significant positive correlations between teachers’ knowledge of Bloom’s Taxonomy and their digital-based understanding of Javanese philosophy. Teachers’ knowledge of Indonesian character education also shows a strong and significant relationship. Combined, both variables explain 92,8% of the variance in teacher’s ability to interpret and internalize philosophical values within technology-supportes cultural learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers a new framework linking pedagogical knowledge with digital cultural interpretation, demonstrating how technology enhances teachers’ ability to translate Bloom’s Taxonomy and character education technology by integrating local wisdom, digital media, and oedagogical theory into a coherent model for cultural preservation.

Abstract

Proses pengembangan mengacu pada model Sadiman, meliputi tahap identifikasi kebutuhan, perumusan tujuan, penyusunan materi, penentuan alat keberhasilan, penyusunan naskah media, produksi media, uji coba, revisi, hingga produk akhir siap digunakan.

Abstract

The degradation of civic values among the younger generation has become a serious concern and a major challenge for Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan/PKn) in Indonesia. This phenomenon is marked by the declining sense of nationalism, low civic engagement, weakened moral responsibility, and the growing influence of digital culture that often contradicts the foundational values of Pancasila. This study aims to analyze the forms and causes of civic value degradation among youth and to examine the role of Civic Education in addressing this issue. The research focuses on students as the main object of study, using both primary data obtained through observations and interviews, and secondary data derived from relevant literature, journals, and policy documents. A qualitative descriptive method is employed to explore the phenomenon in depth and to interpret social realities related to civic education practices. The findings indicate that the degradation of civic values is influenced by several factors, including the dominance of social media, lack of exemplary role models, ineffective learning methods, and the tendency of Civic Education to emphasize cognitive aspects over affective and behavioral dimensions. As a result, students often perceive PKn as a theoretical subject with limited relevance to real-life civic practices. The study concludes that Civic Education must undergo pedagogical transformation by adopting contextual, participatory, and value-oriented learning approaches. Strengthening character education, integrating digital literacy, and fostering critical and reflective thinking are essential strategies to restore civic values among the younger generation and to reinforce the role of PKn in shaping responsible and democratic citizens.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of school principals in building a culture of discipline and work ethic among teachers at SDIT Qurrota A’yun Ponorogo. The research focuses on the relationship between leadership practices, managerial systems, school organizational climate, and the internalization of moral and professional values within the context of an integrated Islamic school. The research subjects include the principal, teachers, and internal school documents related to teacher discipline and performance. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using an interactive data analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teacher discipline and work ethic have not been evenly established as a collective organizational culture. While some teachers demonstrate high levels of discipline and professional responsibility, others show inconsistent work behavior. The results reveal that the principal’s leadership tends to be administrative rather than fully transformational, particularly in terms of inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and value internalization. This study concludes that strengthening a culture of discipline in Islamic schools requires the integration of transformational leadership practices with the reinforcement of moral values such as amanah and itqan as the foundation of professional work ethics. These findings contribute theoretically and practically to the development of a holistic and value-based model of Islamic school leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the pedagogical challenges in integrating the "Global Diversity" (Kebinekaan Global) dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile into Civics Education (PKN) learning within schools characterized by homogeneous student demographics (based on religion or ethnicity). The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Civics teachers, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis at a homogenous private school. The results indicate that the primary challenge lies in the "experience gap"; students possess cognitive knowledge of diversity but lack the affective and psychomotor skills to interact with different groups due to the exclusive school environment. Teachers face difficulties in contextualizing learning materials because of the absence of direct examples of diversity in the school ecosystem. Furthermore, there is a tendency for "in-group bias" which hinders the internalization of inclusive values. The study concludes that Civics learning in homogeneous schools requires intervention through digital-based learning media and inter-school collaboration programs to present a virtual experience of diversity, ensuring that Global Diversity is not merely a theoretical concept but a lived value.
