Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain whether or not there was an effect of using the quizizz application on digital literacy of fourth grade students at SDN Bilaporah 1 Bangkalan. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach. This study uses a posttest-only control design model. The research sample used in this study was fourth grade students at SDN Bilaporah 1 Bangkalan. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using performance test sheets. The results of data analysis calculated using the independent sample t-test show that the sig value is 0.000 where the value is less than 0.05. So these results indicate that there is an influence between quizizz application assisted learning on students' digital literacy in class IV SDN Bilaporah 1 Bangkalan.

Abstract

Integrating cultural literacy into education is essential for creating an inclusive, equitable, and effective learning environment. Cultural literacy can be brought into learning by combining it with regional potential, such as the existence of the Sumenep Palace Museum. This research uses mixed methods research. This research was conducted in Sumenep Regency. The subjects of this research were the Sumenep Palace Museum, teachers, and 60 students of Pandian 1 State Primary School. The research results show that the Sumenep Palace Museum has the potential to be used as content for social science learning in primary schools. Both teachers and students understand the potential of the Sumenep Palace Museum so that it can become a basis for contextual learning that prioritizes local and national culture. Social science material in primary schools can be integrated with the potential of the Sumenep Palace Museum.

Abstract

Education is a very vital thing in human life. Educational philosophy is a philosophy that sees education as a process to humanize students. This study seeks to reveal how the knowledge of PGSD students about the philosophy of education and students' perceptions of the philosophy of education. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive research type. Respondents in this study were 174 students. This study found that the source of knowledge of each elementary school teacher education student about educational philosophy was 60.3 percent, namely social media. Most elementary school teacher education students consider educational philosophy to be an important science. Most of the perceptions about the importance of educational philosophy are because it can provide a complete understanding of science and be able to use the knowledge possessed. Philosophy of Education is very important to be taught to PGSD students who will become educators. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an innovative and creative educational philosophy of education model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the need for the development of flipped classroom-based e-modules in elementary schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were grade IV teachers and 31 grade IV students for the 2023/2024 school year, UPTD SDN Keleyan 1, Socah District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java, consisting of 16 men and 15 women. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on observations and interviews, it can be seen that teachers only use teaching materials in the form of Curriculum Merdeka textbooks provided by the school. In addition, the results of the student needs questionnaire stated that out of 31 students, 25 students (80.64%) were happy if they could learn using teaching materials other than the Curriculum Merdeka textbook, then out of 31 students, 25 students (80.65%) had never learned to use electronic modules. Furthermore, out of 31 students, 31 students (100%) said they were happy if they could study and do assignments with their friends in class. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop flipped classroom-based e-module teaching materials, with flipped classroom-based e-modules can make students independent, active, think critically, and collaboratively in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar, faktor pendukung dan penghambat serta solusi guru dalam mengatasi hambatan siswa di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan teknik pusposive sampling. Subjek penelitian meliputi 2 wali kelas III. Penelitian ini di mulai pada tanggal 14 Oktober sampai 30 November 2023. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan sebagai berikut: peneliti sendiri, smartphone, lembar observasi, dan lembar wawancara. Lalu, analisis data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi (sumber, teknik, dan waktu). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa: a) Upaya guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS denagan cara sebagai berikut menumbuhkan ketertarikan, Perhatian, motivasi, dan pengetahuan; b) Faktor Pendukung meliputi penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran yang relevan, pemberian dukungan dan motivasi, penggunaan teknologi pendidikan, dan keterlibatan orang tua di sekolah, dan Pengahmbat Upaya guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa meliputi kurangnya sumber daya, kurangnya mengadakan pelatihan guru, ketidaksetaraan pendidikan orang tua siswa, serta kurangnya dukungan sosial. c) Solusi guru dalam mengatasi hambatan dalam upaya menumbuhkan minat belajar sebagai berikut pemanfaatan sumber daya secara kreatif, peningkatan pelatihan guru, kesetaraan guru melalui program pemerataan, dan membangun dukungan dengan orang tua.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar matematika siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN Gili Anyar Bangkalan beserta faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi adanya kesulitan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif . Penentuan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 16 siswa kelas IV, guru kelas IV, dan orangtua siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai pada tanggal 9 Januari sampai 21 Januari 2024. Penelitian tersebut dilakukan di sekolah UPTD SDN Gili Anyar dan setiap rumah siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi siswa, lembar observasi guru, lembar wawancara siswa, lembar wawancara guru, dan lembar wawancara orangtua siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kemudian, pengujian keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Triangulasi sumbernya yaitu siswa, guru dan orangtua siswa. sedangkan triangulasi tekniknya yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami siswa yaitu kesulitan dalam memahami materi dan kesulitan berhitung. Selain itu peneliti juga menemukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi adanya kesulitan tersebut ada dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi (1) Kurangnya minat siswa untuk belajar matematika, dan (2) Kebiasaan siswa tidak belajar dengan rutin. Sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi (1) Kurangnya strategi dan inovasi guru, (2) Kurang nyamannya keadaan lingkungan sekolah, dam (3) Kurangnya dukungan, pendampingan, dan perhatian orangtua dan keluarga terhadap siswa dapat belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Model Quantum Teaching Berbantuan Media Lagu Terhadap Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SDN Medokan Semampir I Surabaya”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching, mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Quantum Teaching berbantuan media lagu terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SDN Medokan Semampir I Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen, menggunakan desain pre eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV sejumlah 31 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes dan wawancara. Dilihat dari perhitungan yang diperoleh thitung sebesar = 19,12 dan ttabel = 1,69, dimana thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Medokan Semampir I Surabaya dapat meningkat pada materi gaya. Jadi, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebelum dan setelah diterapkan Model Quantum Teaching.

Abstract

Muludhen is a religious tradition of the Madurese people to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The Muludhen tradition is carried out at all levels of society, including the school environment. Muludhen celebrations in Madurese schools have become a culture that exists from elementary to high school levels. The traditions inherent in Madurese society have values ​​that can be internalized in students' characters. This research aims to provide an in-depth discussion regarding the internalization of Pancasila student profile ​​through the Muludhen religious tradition in forming the character of elementary school students. This study employs qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation and documentation. This research shows that the muludhen religious tradition shapes the profile of Pancasila students on the elements of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble morals; global diversity; mutual cooperation; and independence. Through the routine of following Muludhen religious traditions since elementary school, students not only celebrate but can also interpret Muludhen traditions. Student participation in the Muludhen tradition celebration will instill student character that internalizes elements of the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak has brought multiple profound effects on the economic sector worldwide. This study aims to determine the socio-economic impact caused by the COVID-19. Considering Indonesian lower-classes, this study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach and collected 274 respondents. Data were obtained from questionnaire interviews with poor women in rural East Java. The data source was selected using a random sampling technique. Literature studies were carried out to collect data related to research. The results show that the pandemic in Indonesia has caused a tremendous impact on the socio-economic sector of society and women from the lower classes in rural areas. They suffer from huge losses ranging from reduced income to loss of work. This study also highlights the Work From Home (WFH) policy, which cannot be implemented on the lower classes because many of them are laid off, and some employees who continue to work are at risk of disease exposure. Likewise, the COVID-19 pandemic and Work From Home (WFH) policy evoke several problems for women. The household responsibility of women is proven to increase during the pandemic. The women who do WFH seem to be preoccupied in two roles, first, as a worker, second, as a housewife who assists the household. Specifically, it means women are required to do domestic and public work. Therefore, gender awareness is needed to minimize women’s disadvantages in this case.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted the social and economic sectors. Family, the smallest social unit, is experiencing the impact, particularly for the woman as single-parent. Being a single parent is either a choice, decision, or condition that must be accepted due to the spouse’s passing or other condition. Single parents carried numerous burdens alone, including earning a living and raising the children. These burdens have a significant impact on single parents. This study aims to reveal single-parent families’ survival mechanisms. The research applied a qualitative method by interviewing single mothers from university students in East Java Province, Indonesia. This study used the theory of survival mechanism proposed by James Scott. The study found that instabilities generated by the COVID-19 pandemic produced enormous diminishing income. Such ordeals faced by single parents are burdensome because they initially had to support the family amid the feeble economy. Income vulnerability becomes a deep concern for single mothers. Pandemic COVID-19 caused these mothers to empower themselves and develop various survival strategies. The mothers from middle-class families live frugally and selective when they buy something they need. While mothers from lower-class families did different survival mechanisms, range from careful spending, owe some money, and open a business using their ex-husband’s savings. Furthermore, they are also working overtime, empowering their children to help with the work, diversifying jobs by opening food stalls up to have an online shop. Therefore, it can be assumed that the COVID-19 pandemic has made single parents struggle even more to fulfil their family needs.
