Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Bangsalsari Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan pemilihan jenis penelitian quasi-exsperimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah Non Equivalent Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas intrumen menggunakan product moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Cronbach Alpha. Analisis data menggunakan 2 uji prasyarat seperti uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Uji hipotesis  menggunakan Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian ini dalam analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-test diperoleh thitung = 0,000 dan ttabel = 0,361 maka thitung < ttabel, sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Oleh karena itu, dari nilai yang diperoleh dinyatakan adanya pengaruh penerapan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Bangsalsari Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024.Kata Kunci: Saintifik, hasil belajar, IPS

Abstract

Nyeri menstruasi, atau yang dikenal sebagai dismenore, sering dialami oleh banyak perempuan. Dampak dari dismenore pada remaja dapat muncul dalam bentuk fisik seperti mual, muntah, pusing, diare, nyeri punggung, dan kelelahan. Secara psikologis, kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan penurunan aktivitas karena ketidaknyamanan, penurunan prestasi akademis, peningkatan jumlah remaja putri yang tidak hadir di sekolah, serta perasaan cemas dan gelisah. Upaya yang dapat dilakuakan dalam mengatasi keluhan ini adalah dengan hypnoterapi. Hypnoterapi memiliki manfaat dalam meredakan nyeri otot dan sakit kepala, mengurangi ketegangan dan stres, serta meningkatkan kesehatan dan imunitas. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui efektifitas hypnoterapi pada remaja putri dalam mengurangi skala nyeri dismenore di SMP Attaqwa 13 Taruma Jaya Kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretest-posttest yang diacak. Subjek yang diteliti terdiri dari siswi berusia antara 12 hingga 15 tahun, dengan total sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan p-value sebesar 0,000, yang mengindikasikan bahwa hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari hipnoterapi terhadap pengurangan dismenore pada remaja putri di SMP Attaqwa 13 Tarumajaya, Kabupaten Bekasi Kata kunci : Dysmenorrhe, Remaja, Hypnoterapi

Abstract

The ZnO-TiO2 films were co-sensitized with single, double, and triple natural dyes, leading to distinct effects on the optical properties. ZnO (wurtzite) and TiO2 (anatase) were prepared from commercial powders and the XRD results revealed that the crystallite size is 158 and 443 nm, respectively. The UV absorbance of ZnO powder shows significant peaks at wavelengths of 255 and 345 nm, with a band gap energy of 3.07 eV. Meanwhile, TiO2 powder exhibits a maximum peak at 325 nm and possesses a band gap energy of 3.16 eV. The extraction of natural dyes (Moringa oleifera, Biancaea sappan, Matricaria chamomilla, Rosa, and Chrysanthemum) was carried out using a cost-effective and simple method involving immersion in ethanol for 2 × 24 h followed by filtration. FTIR test results show the presence of O–H, C–H, C=C, and C–O functional groups. The results of coating the ZnO-TiO2 film with natural dyes show that the UV spectrum peaks are higher than the visible light wavelength. Co-sensitization of double natural dyes demonstrated different effects on the ZnO-TiO2 film, i.e., achieved panchromatic absorption mainly in the UV wavelength spectrum.

Abstract

The research aims to determine how budget planning and internal control influence budget realization at the UPT of the Central Java Provincial Health Service. To find out how budget planning, budget control, and realization influence regional financial accountability at the UPT of the Central Java Provincial Health Service. The population in this study was 300 UPT of Central Java Provincial Health Service employees. The sampling method uses purposive sampling, i.e. taking samples by determining the criteria first. These criteria are employees who are involved in budget planning and internal control/auditing and have become civil servants. Determining the sample size using the Slovin formula obtained 171 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that budget planning and internal control influence the realization of the Central Java Provincial Health Service UPT budget. Budget planning, internal control, and budget realization influence the financial accountability of the UPT of Central Java Provincial Health Service. Budget realization mediates the influence between budget planning and internal control on the financial accountability of the UPT of Central Java Provincial Health Service.

Abstract

Zn-doped magnesium titanate powders with different Zn compositions, x = 0 to 1, were synthesized using the dissolved metals mixing method. The roles of calcination temperature and dopant Zn composition on powder morphology, phase composition, crystallite size, crystalline cell volume, and local environment were investigated through scanning electron microscope (SEM) observation, Rietveld analysis of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) for Ti K-edge X-ray absorption near edge structures (XANES). We found that the geikielite solid solutions were formed during the pre-calcination at 400 °C for 1 h. Results show spherical particles (~1 µm) with minimal size variation across calcination temperatures (600–800 °C) and Zn compositions, though some agglomeration occurs. After calcination at 600 °C for 4 h, the crystalline cell volume of geikielite was proportional to the Zn composition, implying the formation of the solid solution in the range of Zn composition up to the level close to x = 1. This successful synthesis of the Zn-doped magnesium titanate nanocrystals at temperatures much lower than those required by the solid-state reaction method was thereby well demonstrated.

Abstract

Problems that generally affect the level of anxiety of parents whose preschoolers undergo hospitalization are divided into two objects, internal factors including: (1) Age factors owned by parents; (2) Sex differences of parents; and (3) Traumatic fears felt by parents. While from the external include: (1) The level of education of parents is quite low; and (2) Parents' knowledge of children's health is still low. One indicator in lowering the anxiety level of the patient's parents is therapeutic communication skills. In general, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' therapeutic communication with the level of parental anxiety due to hospitalization in preschool-aged children at Ranap Lima Mitra Plumbon Hospital. This study uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach and uses correlation or correlational research methods. The population in this study was all parents of patients whose preschool-aged children underwent hospitalization in Ranap Room Five of Mitra Plumbon Hospital. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling method based on chance. In terms of this sampling, researchers conducted a study for one month, where the sample obtained was 28 respondents.

Abstract

Extraction and study of the optical properties of natural dyes from several plant parts such as leaves, flowers, tubers, and fruits have been carried out using a simple maceration method and UV-Vis absorption characterization. The samples were divided into several groups in this study, namely the flower group (Tagetes sp., Paeonia sp., Centaure sp., Chrysanthemum sp., Carthamus tinctorius, Gomphrena globosa, Myosotis sylvatica, Lavandula sp., Clitoria ternatea, Matricaria chamomilla, Hibiscus sabdariffa, and Rosa sp.); the leaf group (Mangifera indica, Moringa oleifera, Graptophyllum pictum, Spinacia oleracea, Citrus hystrix, and Terminalia sp.); and the tuber and fruit group (Solanum lycopersicum, Cucurbita moschata, Garcinia mangostana, Curcuma longa, Beta vulgaris, and Caessapina sp.).  The extract of natural dyes was successfully produced using a low-cost and simple extraction approach via dehydration, immersion for 2×24 hours in ethanol, and followed by filtration. The optical properties of the dyes in UV and visible light range were observed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer in the wavelength of 400-700 nm. The absorption behaviour showed dominant peaks at different wavelengths for each group. Potentially, to do a combination of dyes (co-sensitization: using more than a dye with different absorption spectra to achieve a panchromatic response) to widen the wavelength absorption for dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) applications.

Abstract

his study aims to describe the use of musicalization videos as a medium for formative assessment in poetry writing instruction for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Kota Cirebon. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, the study involved students in the creation of free-form poems, which were then developed into musicalization videos and uploaded to social media as a form of formative evaluation. The results show that this instructional strategy enhances students’ creativity, participation, and understanding of poetry. Adapting the learning process to students’ learning styles—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—helped them express ideas, refine word choices, and integrate poetry with musical elements. Furthermore, the activity also improved students’ self-confidence, collaboration skills, and digital literacy. Thus, the use of musicalization videos as formative assessment has proven effective in developing poetry writing skills and enriching the literary learning experience in a contextual and enjoyable way.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize a single-phase hydroxyapatite powder using waste chicken eggshells as a calcium source via the co-precipitation method. The process focuses on optimizing calcination time and temperature to achieve high-purity hydroxyapatite.  The co-precipitation procedure involved controlled pH adjustment and aging time, contributing to the formation of homogeneous particles. Chicken eggshells, predominantly composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), were calcined at 1000°C for 15 hours to produce calcium oxide (CaO). The resulting CaO was then reacted with phosphate ions in an aqueous solution, followed by a calcination at 900°C for varying holding times of 5 and 10 hours. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis were conducted to evaluate phase composition, crystal size, and texture properties. The optimum condition was found at 900 °C for 10 h calcination, resulting in single-phase hydroxyapatite, a crystallite size of 220 nm, an average pore radius of 6.78 nm, a total pore volume of 0.02 cc/g, a surface area of 6.38 m2/g, and an average particle radius of 213.89 nm. These findings highlight the potential of this method for producing bioceramics with desirable properties for use in bone grafts and other biomedical materials.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan karakter masih jarang diterapkan secara optimal di tingkat sekolah dasar. SDIT Al-Munawwaroh Balikpapan sebagai mitra kegiatan memiliki semangat kuat dalam mendukung inovasi pembelajaran lingkungan, namun belum memiliki sarana praktik pertanian yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membangun Smart Hydroponic Greenhouse sebagai media pembelajaran aktif berbasis teknologi hidroponik yang ramah lingkungan dan mudah dioperasikan oleh siswa. Mitra kegiatan adalah SDIT Al-Munawwaroh yang memiliki 93 siswa dan 9 guru, dengan lokasi di Kelurahan Karang Joang, Kecamatan Balikpapan Utara, Kalimantan Timur. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap: survei dan perencanaan, pembangunan greenhouse dan instalasi sistem hidroponik metode NFT, serta pelatihan dan pendampingan siswa dalam praktik bercocok tanam, pemantauan pertumbuhan tanaman, dan panen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan tumbuh tanaman di atas 90%, keterlibatan aktif seluruh siswa dalam praktik berkebun, serta integrasi kegiatan dengan pembelajaran di kelas. Guru menyatakan peningkatan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap sains dan lingkungan. Greenhouse ini juga menjadi sarana pembentukan karakter, khususnya tanggung jawab, kerja sama, dan kepedulian lingkungan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi pertanian sederhana dapat diadopsi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar, serta dapat direplikasi pada lembaga pendidikan serupa. Kata kunci: berkebun; greenhouse pintar; hidroponik; metode NFT; pendidikan dasar. Abstract Contextual learning that integrates science, technology, and character education is still rarely implemented effectively at the elementary school level. SDIT Al-Munawwaroh Balikpapan, as the partner institution, has shown strong enthusiasm for promoting environmental-based learning, yet lacks adequate facilities for practical agricultural education. This community service program aimed to establish a Smart Hydroponic Greenhouse as an active learning medium based on environmentally friendly hydroponic technology that is easy to operate by students. The partner, SDIT Al-Munawwaroh, consists of 93 students and 9 teachers and is located in Karang Joang Subdistrict, North Balikpapan District, East Kalimantan. The program was implemented in three stages: initial survey and planning, construction of the greenhouse and installation of the NFT-based hydroponic system, followed by training and mentoring of students and teachers in plant cultivation, growth monitoring, and harvesting. The results showed a plant growth success rate above 90%, active student involvement in gardening practices, and successful integration with classroom learning. Teachers observed increased student interest and understanding in science and environmental topics. The greenhouse also served as a character development platform, particularly in nurturing responsibility, cooperation, and environmental awareness. This program demonstrates that simple agricultural technology can be effectively adopted as a sustainable and replicable learning tool for primary education institutions. Keywords: gardening; smart greenhouse; hydroponics; NFT Method; primary education
