Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Person-Job Fit, Person-Organisational Fit, Organisational Culture, and Transformational Leadership Style on Organisational Commitment at the Gunungkidul Regency Trade Office. This study employs a quantitative approach through a survey. Data were collected using an online Google Form questionnaire distributed to 74 respondents via total sampling. Measurements were conducted using a 1-5 Likert scale. Statistical analysis was conducted using multiple regression with SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that individual-job fit, individual-organisational fit, and organisational climate significantly influence organisational commitment, while transformational leadership does not have a significant impact. These results differ from many other studies that often find that transformational leadership can make employees more loyal to the organisation. These findings confirm that individual fit with the job and organisation, as well as a strong organisational culture, play a crucial role in strengthening employee commitment. Therefore, improving alignment between individual characteristics and the work environment can enhance employee loyalty and commitment to the organisation. For the Gunungkidul Regency Trade Office, efforts to create a positive and harmonious work climate are an important strategy for enhancing organisational commitment among its employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the simultaneous influence of knowledge management, organizational communication, and job satisfaction on employee performance at Yayasan Dian Yosefa Labuan Bajo. A quantitative approach was employed, involving hypothesis formulation, data collection from all 74 employees at the foundation's Labuan Bajo branch, and data analysis using linear regression. The independent variables examined were knowledge management, communication, and job satisfaction, while the dependent variable was employee performance. The results indicate that these three variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of effective knowledge management, open communication, and job satisfaction in enhancing organizational productivity. In conclusion, the integrated management of these factors is critical for optimizing employee performance and achieving organizational goals, particularly in nonprofit educational institutions. The study recommends further research with a broader organizational context and the inclusion of qualitative methods to gain deeper insights.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employability and job insecurity on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study focuses on how employability and job insecurity affect organizational commitment, especially in the context of Family Hope Program (PKH) companions in the public sector. A quantitative approach was used in this study by distributing questionnaires to all PKH facilitators in Purworejo Regency totaling 105 people. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method, including instrument validity and reliability tests, model fit, hypothesis testing, and mediation analysis. This study provides an empirical contribution by testing the mediation model of job satisfaction in the relationship between employability, job insecurity, and organizational commitment, especially in the local government social sector which has not been widely studied before. The results of the study indicate that employability has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, while job insecurity does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction or organizational commitment. Job satisfaction is proven to affect organizational commitment but does not mediate the relationship between employability and job insecurity with organizational commitment. Employability is more decisive for organizational commitment than job satisfaction as an intermediary. Organizational support for increasing employability is key to building organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work ethic, work discipline, and communication on employee performance at the Yogyakarta Special Region Tourism Office. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire distributed to all 74 employees through a census sampling method. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, incorporating statistical tests such as normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that work discipline and communication have a significant positive impact on employee performance, while work ethic does not exhibit a direct effect. Strong work discipline fosters accountability and productivity, whereas effective communication enhances collaboration and efficiency. These results underscore the necessity for organizations to reinforce discipline and communication strategies to optimize employee performance. The study contributes to the understanding of workplace dynamics by emphasizing key determinants of productivity. Future research should explore additional factors influencing employee performance, particularly in the context of technological advancements and evolving work environments.
