Abstract

Song is part of poetry literature whose depiction of the contents of the heart is sung and covered with music. Each song lyric has its own meaning for the creator. Like one of the famous songs entitled 'Kalih compassion' which was popularized by Denny Caknan which carries the theme of a love song. However, the part in the lyrics of the song has several spelling errors in the use of each word. Based on this background, the focus of this research is to contextually analyze every word in the lyrics of the song 'kalih compassion'. Contextual analysis is discourse analysis that relies on the internal aspects of discourse and everything that externally encompasses a discourse. The context of discourse can be broadly divided into language contexts and external language contexts. Then it is known; (1) Analysis of Errors in Writing Words in the Lyrics of the Song 'Kalih Welasku', (2) Contextual Analysis of the Lyrics of 'Kalih Welasku' using the Principle of Personal Interpretation. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the analysis of the words in the lyrics of the song 'kalih welasku'. The focus of this research is the analysis of language errors with the primary data of the song Kalih Welasku and secondary data in the form of articles, scie ntific studies, or documents that have a correlation with the research object.   Keywords: songs, contextual analysis, language errors

Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 era gives a huge challenge for higher education institutions. They are demanded to be able to produce skilled, competent, and creative graduates in competing their skill in regional, national, and international scopes. Edu-technopreneurship is an important issue necessarily conducted by higher education institutions to face this challenge. This study aimed to map a topic on edu-technopreneurship in scopus and a chance of its development in language, literature, and literacy fields. By using keywords of “education”, “technology”, and “entreprenership” in the scopus page, were found 1,383 documents discussing about these topics. These data were then analyzed quantitatively to see the developmental trend happening. Besides, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOS viewer to see the interrelation between documents. The result shows that studies on these topics have been frequently conducted and experiencing improvement significantly by the year. They are often related to economy, technique, technology, and education. However, they do not deal with langauge, literature, and literacy. It indicates that there is a big opportunity and challenge to study the “edu-technopreneurship” in language, literature, and literacy fields in the future.

Abstract

Islam is the religion of rahmatan lil alamin or that which is divine for all of nature. The values contained in Islam have a very broad scope relating to various aspects of life. The spread of Islam in Java is growing rapidly brought by Walisongo, or what is called the nine Wali. One of the trustees who uses a unique preaching media is Sunan Kalijaga. He creates lir-ilir song, which without realizing it in this song, has a very meaningful meaning in life. The meaning in it awakens the Javanse people to always think about carrying out the pillars of Islam, and to improve themselves if they make mistakes. However, not everyone knows the meaning contained in the lir-ilir song. In this study, the overall meaning of the song lir-ilir will be examined using a semiotic approach. The semiotic approach here relates to the system of signs and symbols in human life.

Abstract

Serat merupakan salah satu karya sastra Jawa yang memuat ajaran dan nilai adiluhung. Salah satu serat yang memuat tentang ajaran wanita adalah Serat Wulang Reh Putri karya Pakubuwono X. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan simbolisasi wanita Jawa utama dalam serat wulang reh putri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah teks Serat Wulang Reh Putri yang tersimpan di Museum Reksa Pustaka Pura Mangkunegaran. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik studi dokumen dan pembacaan intensif. Data-data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan ilmu semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Hasil analisis data ditemukan Pakubuwono X memberikan contoh beberapa tokoh wanita dalam beberapa kisah, diantaranya adalah Dewi Adaninggar dan Dewi Citrawati. Pakubuwono X juga mengajarkan tentang simbolisasi hati yang menjadi bekal utama yang harus dimiliki dalam sebuah pernikahan. Terakhir, Pakubuwono X memberikan pemahaman tentang 3 bekal yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang istri, yaitu berbakti, melayani, dan menghormati suami dengan sepenuh hati. Serat Wulang Reh Putri ini juga bisa dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter wanita Jawa utama di era globalisasi. Utamanya penekanan tentang pentingnya penerimaan, pengabdian, dan pemahaman posisi wanita dalam keluarga. Kata kunci: pandangan Pakubuwono X; semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce; Serat Wulang Reh Putri; simbolisasi wanita Jawa utama.

Baritan is a customary practice that continues to be observed by the residents of Desa Wates, located in the Wates sub-district of Blitar Regency. This tradition holds its uniqueness as it is usually conducted when the rainy season arrives, serving as a symbol of gratitude to God for the blessing of rain, which is crucial for agriculture and plant growth, and marking the beginning of a new planting season. The research method employed in this article is qualitative, allowing researchers to delve deeper into the cultural aspects and social meanings of the Baritan tradition. Despite Indonesia's rapid advancements in technology and modernization, particularly with the progress in science and technology (IPTEK), there remain challenges in preserving the sustainability of traditional customs such as Baritan. The younger generation, especially in Desa Wates, Blitar Regency, have not fully grasped and appreciated the religious values embedded in the Baritan tradition. Many of them participate in the tradition without understanding its deeper meanings and significance. Therefore, this study aims to delve deeper into the implementation stages of the Baritan tradition and the religious values contained within it. These religious values encompass aspects of belief (aqidah), Islamic law (syari'ah), and morality (akhlak), which form the main foundation in the implementation of the Baritan tradition.

Abstract

Kesuksesan dari proses pembelajaran ditentukan oleh beberapa aspek, salah satunya adalah pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Sebuah metode pembelajaran yang baik ketika metode tersebut dapat memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi pembelajaran sehingga mereka dapat mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa untuk menyongsong pembelajaran multikultural di era revolusi industri 4.0. Dalam penelitian RD terdiri dari sepuluh tahapan, tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya diambil empat tahap saja, yaitu 1) studi awal atau eksplorasi, 2) pengembangan prototype model, 3) pengujian prototype, dan 4) diseminasi produk. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa tujuan dari pembelajaran bahasa Jawa juga menanamkan rasa mencintai terhadap bahasa dan budaya Jawa. Selanjutnya, untuk meraih poin tersebut dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang ada (seperti jigsaw, numbered head together, make a match, TGT, dll) kemudian dikombinasikan dengan beberapa elemen dari budaya Jawa. Hal mengacu fenomena di era globalisasi seperti sekarang, banyak generasi muda yang mulai tergerus rasa memiliki terhadap budaya sendiri, khususnya budaya Jawa. Dengan mengaplikasikan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa secara tidak langsung dapat digunakan untuk sarana reaktualisasi pengetahuan tentang budaya Jawa kepada siswa di era revolusi industry 4.0.learning method based on java culture in order to success multicultural education in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The success of the learning process one of many reason is determined by learning method which using by the teacher to explain learning materials. A good learning methods when its method can easily make student know the learning materials so they can reach the goal of learning. This research is research development which develop the learning method based on Javanese culture for facing the multicultural learning in industrial revolution era 4.0. The research and development consist of ten stages, but only four stages were applied in this research, including (1) preliminary study or exploration, (2) prototype development, (3) prototype testing, and (4) product dissemination. From this research know that the purposes of Javanese language learning also embed the sense of belonging with Javanese language and culture. Therefore, to reach that point can using learning method based on Javanese culture. This matter can be done with developming the existing learning method (like jigsaw, numbered head together, make a match, TGT, etc) then combine with some elements of Javanese local wisdom. The aims of integrated the Javanese local wisdom elements on learning methods is for embed-knowing Javanese culture. Considering of phenomena in this time most of young generation who already eroded the sense of belonging with their own culture, especially the Javanese culture. By applying learning method based on Javanese culture indirectly can be used for re-actualizing knowledge of Javanese culture for student in industrial revolution era 4.0.

Abstract

The religion-based integrated curriculum model differs the curriculum system at Islamic boarding schools from other formal schools. Thus, the researchers conducted a case study to determine the Islamic integrated curriculum model at Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The sample of this research was five leading Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The data were collected through field observation and in-depth interviews with some informants, such as ustadz/ustadzah, santri, and santri’s guardians/parents. Then, it was analyzed using integrative and interactive techniques. It included data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This study found that the Islamic integrated curriculum system was applied by combining the national curriculum with the hidden curriculum compiled by each Islamic boarding school. It was adjusted to the Islamic boarding school’s vision, mission, and form. Applying the Islamic integrated curriculum model has effectively improved the santri’s religious character. Besides, the parent/guardian satisfaction index showed 89.6%. This research contributes to the Islamic integrated curriculum model into santri’s religious character in Blitar, East Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

The branch of pragmatics makes speech acts as the main object of its study. Speech acts do not have to be spoken directly by the speaker but can take other forms such as in literary works. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the form of commissive speech acts in the performance of the play Rembulan Wungu. This research is included in qualitative research using a pragmatic approach. The primary source of data in this study is the performance of the play Rembulan Wungu by Bondan Nusantara. Data retrieval techniques using listen, engage, and record techniques. The instrument used for data retrieval is a data card. The stages of data analysis consist of data classification, data condensation, data presentation and analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found three types of commissive speech acts in the performance of the play Rembulan Wungu, namely commissive speech acts intending, promising, and swearing. The most intent commissive speech acts were found with a total of 9 data with the most dominant verbal markers in the form of the words yen and ajeng. The commissive speech act promises 3 data with verbal markers in the form of the word bakal. An interesting thing is found in the type of oath that is pronounced using sesanti in the form of parikan or Javanese poem.

Abstract

Dewasa ini banyak wanita Jawa yang sudah mengalami disrupsi karakter sehingga sebagian kehilangan jati dirinya. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan reaktualisasi Pendidikan karakter dengan mengangkat beberapa piwulang yang tertanam dalam karya sastra Jawa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan konsep dan karakter wanita utama Serat Wulang Putri karya Pakubuwono X. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks serat Wulang Putri dan informan dari para pakar bidang sastra dan budaya Jawa. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi filologi dan in-depth interview. Uji validitas data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi teori dan triangulasi sumber data. Dari hasil analisis data ditemukan konsep dan karakter wanita utama dalam Serat Wulang Putri. Konsep wanita Jawa utama disimbolkan dengan beberapa tokoh, diantaranya Dewi Adaninggar dan Dewi Citrawati yang memiliki sikap berbakti kepada suami. Wanita Jawa juga harus memahami esensi, peran, dan posisinya dalam keluarga. Adapun karakter dari wanita Jawa yang baik diantaranya adalah berbakti, patuh kepada suami, menjaga lisan, memahami posisinya dalam keluarga, dan tentu menjaga segala sesuatu yang diberikan oleh suami.
