Abstract

Children's morals at an early age need to be built so that they develop properly. The moral development of children will be closely related to the habits that are formed in daily life following their growth period. Parents can start from the habit of behaving and speaking. Familiarizing children to speak politely must be the main awareness for parents. One of the foundations in efforts to build the moral development of early childhood is through Javanese krama. Javanese krama is a language that has deep character values. Through the habit of speaking Javanese krama, children will get used to respecting their interlocutors, respecting their elders, loving their peers, and even respecting themselves from an early age. However, many parents are afraid to teach their children to speak Javanese krama for difficult reasons and are afraid of being wrong. The results of this study reveal that there are strategic ways that can be done by parents in getting used to Javanese krama so that it can be realized as a foundation for the moral development of early childhood. In Salam Village, there is a strategic method through the stages of recognizing, observing, self-improvement, motivation, training from an early age, and getting used to it every day.

Abstract

This research discusses the tradition of sharing blessings in the context of birth and death in Selopuro Village, Blitar Regency, East Java. Using a comparative approach and qualitative methods, this research compares the philosophical meaning of blessing rice filling at birth and death ceremonies. The research location was chosen because Selopuro Village shows a unique diversity in rice blessing fillings. The results showed significant differences in rice filling thanks between the two events. At birth ceremonies, there are restrictions on the presence of apem, the presence of foreskin or urap-urap, fried chili sauce that is not too spicy, boiled cassava, and rujak uyub. Meanwhile, at the death ceremony, the presence of apem and buceng pungkur were found. The symbolism and philosophy in each food element reflects the values ​​of life, morality, and preparation for the afterlife. The connection between symbols and life values ​​is reflected in boiled cassava as a symbol of hard work and rujak uyub as a representation of the color of life. Harmony in death rituals is reflected in the use of apem and buceng pungkur. This research provides a deep understanding of the rich culture and spirituality of the Selopuro Village community. Every food tradition is not only part of cultural heritage but also a medium for conveying moral and philosophical messages.

Abstract

This article discusses and describe about speech level clasterization in Javanaese Language and the language using in society. Form of this research is case study with sociolinguistic approach. Data sources are taken from the use of Javanese language in 5 big cities in Indonesia that are Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Surabaya, and Malang. The data in this study was obtained by interview methods, field studies, and the method of sightseeing. The results found from this study that there are several varieties of unggah-ungguh basa in Javanese language. The variety most often used by the community can be divided into 3 large groups that are ngoko, madya, and krama inggil. Ngoko (low level of courtesy) consists of ngoko lugu; ngoko andhap antya-basa; and ngoko andhap basa-antya. The variety of basa madya (moderate level of politeness) consists of madya-ngoko; madya-krama; and madyantara. The variety of krama (high level of politeness) consist of basa krama wredha-krama; mudha-krama; kramantara; and krama inggil. The use of various languages at each level is influenced by several factors, including the closeness or social distance between speakers (O1) and speech partners (O2); age; social status; gender; conversation settings; and context of speech. This rule can also be used as a benchmark for the level of politeness and respect of the Javanese people. AbstrakArtikel ini membahas dan mendeskripsikan klasterisasi tingkat tutur yang terdapat dalam bahasa Jawa dan penggunaannya di masyarakat. Penelitian ini berbentuk studi kasus dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Sumber data diambil dari penggunaan bahasa masyarakat Jawa di 5 kota besar di Indonesia, yaitu Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Surabaya, dan Malang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan metode wawancara, studi lapangan, dan metode simak-catat. Hasil yang ditemukan dari penelitian ini bahwa terdapat beberapa ragam unggah-ungguh basa dalam khazanah bahasa Jawa. Ragam yang paling sering digunakan oleh masyarakat dapat dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok besar, yaitu ngoko, madya, dan krama inggil. Ngoko (tingkat kesopanan rendah) terdiri dari ngoko lugu; ngoko andhap antya-basa; dan ngoko andhap basa-antya. Ragam bahasa madya (tingkat kesopanan sedang) terdiri atas madya-ngoko; madya-krama; dan madyantara. Ragam Bahasa krama (kesopanan tinggi) basa krama wredha-krama; mudha-krama; kramantara; dan krama inggil. Penggunaan ragam bahasa di setiap tingkatnya dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya kedekatan atau jarak sosial antara penutur (O1) dan mitra tutur (O2), umur penutur dan mitra tutur; status sosial mitra tutur, gender, tempat atau setting percakapan dan konteks yang melingkupi tuturan. Kaidah unggah-ungguh bahasa Jawa ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai tolok ukur tingkat kesopanan dan rasa menghormati dari masyarakat Jawa.

Abstract

Kesuksesan dari proses pembelajaran ditentukan oleh beberapa aspek, salah satunya adalah pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Sebuah metode pembelajaran yang baik ketika metode tersebut dapat memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi pembelajaran sehingga mereka dapat mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa untuk menyongsong pembelajaran multikultural di era revolusi industri 4.0. Dalam penelitian R&D terdiri dari sepuluh tahapan, tetapi dalam penelitian ini hanya diambil empat tahap saja, yaitu 1) studi awal atau eksplorasi, 2) pengembangan prototype model, 3) pengujian prototype, dan 4) diseminasi produk. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa tujuan dari pembelajaran bahasa Jawa juga menanamkan rasa mencintai terhadap bahasa dan budaya Jawa. Selanjutnya, untuk meraih poin tersebut dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang ada (seperti jigsaw, numbered head together, make a match, TGT, dll) kemudian dikombinasikan dengan beberapa elemen dari budaya Jawa. Hal mengacu fenomena di era globalisasi seperti sekarang, banyak generasi muda yang mulai tergerus rasa memiliki terhadap budaya sendiri, khususnya budaya Jawa. Dengan mengaplikasikan metode pembelajaran berbasis budaya Jawa secara tidak langsung dapat digunakan untuk sarana reaktualisasi pengetahuan tentang budaya Jawa kepada siswa di era revolusi industry 4.0.learning method based on java culture in order to success multicultural education in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The success of the learning process one of many reason is determined by learning method which using by the teacher to explain learning materials. A good learning methods when its method can easily make student know the learning materials so they can reach the goal of learning. This research is research development which develop the learning method based on Javanese culture for facing the multicultural learning in industrial revolution era 4.0. The research and development consist of ten stages, but only four stages were applied in this research, including (1) preliminary study or exploration, (2) prototype development, (3) prototype testing, and (4) product dissemination. From this research know that the purposes of Javanese language learning also embed the sense of belonging with Javanese language and culture. Therefore, to reach that point can using learning method based on Javanese culture. This matter can be done with developming the existing learning method (like jigsaw, numbered head together, make a match, TGT, etc) then combine with some elements of Javanese local wisdom. The aims of integrated the Javanese local wisdom elements on learning methods is for embed-knowing Javanese culture. Considering of phenomena in this time most of young generation who already eroded the sense of belonging with their own culture, especially the Javanese culture. By applying learning method based on Javanese culture indirectly can be used for re-actualizing knowledge of Javanese culture for student in industrial revolution era 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of learning Indonesian is to hone students' language skills. One of the things that is developed is the skill of writing scientific articles. In practice, there are still many errors in students' scientific article work. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the misuse of the Indonesian language in scientific articles of students of Al Khoiriyah Sumbergempol High School. The data source of this research is 34 articles by students. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentary study technique and is assisted by an instrument in the form of a data recording card. The analysis of research data includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of data analysis found two categories of errors, namely errors in the use of spelling and errors in the preparation of the structure of scientific articles. Writing errors include mistakes in the use of letters, use of words, use of punctuation, and writing terms/absorption of foreign languages. Structural errors include errors in the preparation of titles, abstracts, editorial sections, research results, and conclusion/closing sections. This is important to be a concern and a reflection material for future learning as well as prepare the skills of students who will continue their studies in higher education.

Abstract

Masyarakat Jawa spesialnya kanak- kanak memakai bahasa Jawa wajib memahami unggah-ungguh, hendak namun kerap terjalin kesalahan dalam pemakaian leksikon. Perihal ini tidak bisa disalahkan seluruhnya karena itu bisa terjalin sebab minimnya pengetahuan penutur tentang konsep unggah- ungguh dalam berbahasa Jawa. Riset ini bertujuan buat mendeskripsikan serta menarangkan menimpa fenomena pemakaian macam bahasa Jawa kanak- kanak usia 7-12 tahun. Sumber informasi berbentuk pemakaian macam bahasa Jawa di Tulungagung. Proses pengambilan informasi dengan observasi serta wawancara mendalam. Dari hasil riset ditemui masih banyak kesalahan pemakaian macam bahasa di golongan kanak- kanak. Penyebabnya yakni anak tidak dibiasakannya berbahasa krama inggil oleh orang tua, kurangya kerja sama antara pihak sekolah, orang tua, serta warga. Pula belum terdapatnya model pembelajaran menimpa unggah- ungguh basa yang dirasa sesuai. Dengan demikian, masih banyak ditemui pemakaian unggah- ungguh basa yang galat di golongan kanak- kanak.Kata kunci: representasi, unggah-ungguh, anak

Abstract

The religion-based integrated curriculum model differs the curriculum system at Islamic boarding schools from other formal schools. Thus, the researchers conducted a case study to determine the Islamic integrated curriculum model at Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The sample of this research was five leading Islamic boarding schools in Blitar. The data were collected through field observation and in-depth interviews with some informants, such as ustadz/ustadzah, santri, and santri’s guardians/parents. Then, it was analyzed using integrative and interactive techniques. It included data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This study found that the Islamic integrated curriculum system was applied by combining the national curriculum with the hidden curriculum compiled by each Islamic boarding school. It was adjusted to the Islamic boarding school’s vision, mission, and form. Applying the Islamic integrated curriculum model has effectively improved the santri’s religious character. Besides, the parent/guardian satisfaction index showed 89.6%. This research contributes to the Islamic integrated curriculum model into santri’s religious character in Blitar, East Java, Indonesia.

Abstract

The focus in this research is to describe and explain the implementation of the rule of Islamic marriage on the modern Javanese novel post-reformation era. Data resources in this research are some of the Javanese novels published after 2000. This descriptive qualitative research used three phases of research: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The primary data resources were reduced and tested by using a triangulation technique to test data validity. Then, the result showed the examples of implementing the rule of Islamic marriage in Javanese novels of the post-reformation era. The author’s point of view influenced the plot and conflict of the rule of marriage in the story. Indirectly, a few examples of the rule of marriage in the Javanese novel of the post-reformation era can provide an illustration based on the Islamic sharia rule. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan mengenai penerapan hukum perkawinan islam dalam novel Jawa moden pascareformasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah beberapa novel Jawa yang diterbitkan di atas tahun 2000. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan tiga tahapan penelitian, yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Data-data dalam sumber data utama direduksi dan dianalisis dengan pembahasan masalah. Terakhir data-data yang diperoleh diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk mendapat suatu derajat validitas data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan beberapa contoh penerapan hukum perkawinan Islam dalam novel Jawa pascareformasi. Hukum perkawinan yang disajikan dalam novel Jawa sesuai dengan alur dan konflik cerita yang dipengaruhi juga oleh sudut pandang pengarang. Secara tidak langsung, beberapa contoh penerapan hukum perkawinan dalam novel Jawa pascareformasi dapat memberikan gambaran masyarakat mengenai hukum perkawinan yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam dan yang menyimpang dari hukum syariat perkawinan islam.

Abstract

This research focused on studying gugon tuhon in Surakarta and its relation to Islamic values. The gugon tuhon was related to the marriage cycle, pregnancy cycle, and children family education. The data were obtained through interviewing the Javanese society in Surakarta area. It employed an interactive analysis with the cultural interpretation relevant to Islamic values. The result indicates that some gugon tuhon in the marriage include prohibition for brides to go out by themselves and conduct wedding ceremonies in Sura/Muharram month. In the pregnancy cycle of gugon tuhon, pregnant women are prohibited from gossip and think negatively since those result in the child personality. Husbands of pregnant women are also prohibited from killing or hurt animals because their children will be harmed. The gugon tuhon in educating children includes the prohibition to go out at Maghrib (sunset prayer) because an evil spirit will kidnap them and suggest washing hands and legs before visiting babies. The existence of gugon tuhon can be used as the character education to construct good habits. Besides, gugon tuhon functions to implant Islamic moral values in terms of tolerance, responsibility, and good deeds to build a harmonious life system. Penelitian ini mengkaji gugon tuhon di Surakarta dan kaitannya dengan nilainilai keislaman. Gugon tuhon yang dikaji adalah dalam siklus pernikahan, siklus kehamilan, dan yang digunakan untuk mendidik anak. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat di wilayah karesidenan Surakarta. Analisis interaktif digunakan dengan pemaknaan secara kultural selanjutnya direlevansikan dengan nilai islami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa gugon tuhon dalam perkawinan, diantaranya adalah larangan calon penganten putri untuk bepergian sendiri dan larangan untuk melaksanakan pernikahan di bulan Sura/Muharram. Dalam gugon tuhon siklus kehamilan, wanita hamil dilarang menggunjing dan berpikiran negatif karena akan berdampak pada watak anaknya. Suami yang istrinya sedang hamil juga dilarang membunuh dan menyakiti hewan karena anaknya akan celaka. Gugon tuhon dalam mendidik anak seperti larangan untuk keluar di waktu Magrib karena akan diculik oleh wewe gombel dan anjuran untuk membasuh kaki-tangan sebelum bertemu dengan bayi. Adanya gugon tuhon dapat digunakan sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter kepada generasi muda untuk membentuk kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang baik. Selain itu, fungsi gugon tuhon juga sebagai sarana menanamkan nilai-nilai moral keislaman seperti tenggang rasa, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan selalu berbuat baik kepada sesama untuk membentuk sistem kehidupan masyarakat yang harmonis.

Abstract

The existence of internet in modern era makes society easy to do their activities. All aspect of human life is based on online or connected to internet. The development of e-administration in school administration is one of them. This study was descriptive qualitative which aims to describe and to explain school administration concept based online to ease school management in digital era. Source of data divided into two, including document and informants referring to education expert, education implementer unit and society as education user. Technique of collecting the data were content analysis and in-depth interview. Triangulation of source of data technique were used to validate the data. The result shows that there are some school administration system based online to ease school administration process. They are school registration based online (e-registration), school payment based online integrated with certain bank account (e-school payment), teaching journal based online (e-journal), and student achievement report based online (e-raport). Besides, school is also facilitated by school administrator which can be contacted via whatsapp and telegram applications to ease education user on asking for information about school and education
