Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial element in improving students' academic achievement. Approaches that involve parental mentoring variables and the learning environment are important steps in understanding and increasing student motivation. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a focus on grade IV students as the study population. A total of 69 students were sampled. The results showed that parental assistance and the learning environment had a significant impact on student learning motivation. It was found that parental assistance had an influence of 69.9%, while the learning environment influenced learning motivation by 37.8%. This finding highlights the importance of these independent factors in increasing the enthusiasm for learning of students at the elementary school level, especially in grade IV Cluster 3 of Srengat District, Blitar Regency. This study contributes to the study of the analysis of learning motivation of elementary school students with the following findings. Parental assistance (X1) and learning environment (X2) have a significant effect on student learning motivation. Parental support increases learning motivation, while a supportive learning environment also increases students' desire to learn. The implications of research can inspire parents to intensify their guidance in motivating children's learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of Blitar local wisdom-based online literacy media and to explain the responses of Kalipucung 02 Public Elementary School students to Blitar local wisdom-based online literacy media. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. This type of research is descriptive research. The results of this study were (1) the Si Cetar media was applied for two days in accordance with the goals of GLS in SD, namely instilling an interest in and fond of reading and (2) the results of students' responses to Si Cetar media were included in the very satisfactory category.

Abstract

Mathematics plays a crucial role in solving various problems and developing students' competencies in organizing their thoughts and tackling everyday challenges. The purpose of teaching mathematics to students is to equip them with the skills necessary to think carefully, systematically, analytically, critically, logically, and creatively in their daily lives. This research aims to test and evaluate the effectiveness of the nets of cubes and blocks (jajan kubal) puzzle as a learning tool for fifth-grade mathematics at SD Negeri 8 Tambakasri. The research and development process involved assessing the validity of the nets of cubes and blocks puzzle media by subjecting it to evaluation by content experts, media experts, and linguists. The results obtained from the evaluation indicate that the the nets of cubes and blocks puzzle media is highly valid, with material experts scoring it at 74% (qualified as very good), media experts at 87% (qualified as very good), and linguists at 77% (qualified as good). Additionally, the media's readability for students scored 82%, indicating positive outcomes, while the teacher's assessment yielded a result of 88%, indicating a good value from the teacher's perspective. Therefore, the the nets of cubes and blocks puzzle learning media is deemed feasible and can be implemented as a valuable resource for mathematics education in the second semester of grade V at SD Negeri 8 Tambakasri.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process that takes place makes students easily bored and tend not to be interested in learning using the Javanese Gegladhen Book or hearing Punokawan stories from teachers, because they cannot read and see directly the description of the Punokawan storyline, thus causing the non-achievement of learning objectives. Based on the background that has been found, the formulation of the problem can be obtained as follows: How is the feasibility of learning resources. CEKAWAN Book (Punokawan Stories) for Elementary School Students? How do teachers and students read the learning resources of the CEKAWAN Book (Punokawan Story) for Elementary School Students? This research approach includes Research and Development (RD) research. According to (Sugiyono, 2016), Research and Development (RD) is a research method used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product. This research aims to produce or develop products. The product developed in this study is a learning resource in the form of a CEKAWAN Book (Punokawan Story) for Elementary School Students.This research refers to the research and development design of modifications of the development model according to Borg and Gall. The result of the research and development of the resulting product is the cekawan (Punokawan Story) book for elementary school students. The results of the validation of the feasibility of assessment learning resources from 6 validators, Material experts 78.66%, Linguists 82.22%, and media experts 77.33% categorized as "FEASIBLE". The results of the readability trial of 10 students and 3 class teachers, class teachers 93.81%, students 97%, categorized as "FEASIBLE", and can be used as an additional learning resource for Javanese subjects in the Punokawan wayang story chapter.ABSTRAKProses belajar mengajar yang berlangsung membuat peserta didik mudah bosan dan cenderung tidak tertarik belajar menggunakan Buku Gegladhen Bahasa Jawa maupun mendengar cerita Punokawan dari guru, karena tidak bisa membaca dan melihat langsung gambaran jalan cerita Punokawan, sehingga menyebabkan tidak tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. . Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah ditemukan, dapat diperoleh rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: Bagaimana kelayakan sumber belajar Buku CEKAWAN (Cerita Punokawan) untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar? Bagaimana keterbacaan guru dan peserta didik terhadap sumber belajar Buku CEKAWAN (Cerita Punokawan) untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar? Pendekatan penelitian ini termasuk penelitian Research and Development (RD).Menurut (Sugiyono, 2016), Research and Development (RD) merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut.Peneleitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan atau mengembangkan produk.Produk yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber belajar berupa Buku CEKAWAN (Cerita Punokawan) Untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar.Penelitian ini mengacu pada rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan modifikasi dari model pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan produk yang dihasilkan adalah buku CEKAWAN (Cerita Punokawan) untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hasil validasi kelayakan sumber belajar penilaian dari 6 validator, Ahli materi 78.66%, Ahli bahasa 82.22%, dan Ahli media 77.33% dikategorikan “LAYAK”. Hasil uji coba keterbacaan 10 peserta didik dan 3 guru kelas, guru kelas 93.81%, peserta didik 97%, dikategorikan “LAYAK”, dan dapat dijadikan sumber belajar tambahan mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa bab cerita wayang Punokawan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif berbasi animasi yang layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada meteri menentukan ide pokok paragraf untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and development menurut Sugiyono yang dibatasi sampai tujuh tahap. Tujuh tahap tersebut meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasi animasi materi ide pokok paragraf ADEK untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar telah selesai dikembangkan sesuai dengan prosedur menurut Sugiyono yang dibatasi tujuh tahap. Multimedia interaktif beerbasis ADEK telah layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran ide pokok paragraf untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pada tahap validasi ahli materi diperoleh hasil sebesar 92,2% (sangat layak) tahap valiadasi ahli bahasa diperoleh hasil sebesar 85, 5% (layak) dan pada tahap valiadasi ahli media dan multimedia pembelajaran diperoleh hasil penilaian 96% (sangat layak) dan hasil uji coba keterbacaan guru sebesar 96% (sangat layak). Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis animasi ADEK dapat dikategorikan layak dari penilaian ahli dan sangat layak dari hasil keterbacaan guru.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop animation-based video media suitable for delivering reading materials of three text types (simple procedures, explanations, and objective descriptions) to fifth-grade elementary school students. This research utilizes a Research and Development design, commonly known as developmental research. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, readability testing is conducted with 5 fifth- grade students from UPT SD Negeri Talun 05 and 5 elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques include surveys and documentation. Both quantitative and qualitative descriptive analyses are employed for data analysis in this research. The expert assessment of the content yields a 91% rating, categorized as highly feasible. The media expert evaluation results in a 90% rating, indicating the media is highly feasible. The language expert assessment produces an 88% matching category percentage. Students exhibit excellent performance in readability experiments, scoring 90% in the very good category, and they demonstrate a strong preference for animation-based video content. Teachers score remarkably high at 94% in readability testing. Consequently, teachers can consider animation-based media as a reference for Indonesian language learning that covers materials with three text types studied by fifth-grade elementary school classes: simple procedural text, explanation, and objective description.

Abstract

Limited media facilities and infrastructure for technology-based media in schools require teachers to use print-based media. Students have difficulty understanding thematic learning because of the limitations of interactive media. This research aims to develop pop up book media for thematic learning on the sub-theme of changing the shape of objects that is suitable for use. This research design uses the Borg n Gall's development type up to the evaluation stage. The results of the material expert assessment obtained a percentage of 91.4% with a very feasible category. The results of linguist's assessment got 83.4% categorized feasible. The results of media expert's assessment get 95% it means feasible. Readability of student's test got a percentage of 100% with a very decent category. Student's can read and use pop up books. Readability of teacher's test got 100% with very feasible. So that's pop up book can help teachers in the learning process.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations in classes III, IV, V and VI of elementary schools, it can be concluded that students have difficulty understanding Javanese language learning using Javanese script material because the learning media used is less interesting. Furthermore, to solve the problems that occur, new innovations should be created that are tailored to the needs of students so that there are no obstacles in the Javanese language learning process, especially in Javanese script material. The aim of this research is to produce Sinau Aksawa products for students in grades III, IV, V and VI of elementary school as a learning medium. This research is development research. The research and development model used is ADDIE. Based on the results of research and development of learning media products, Sinau Aksawa received a score of 90.47% from media validators, 92.67% from material and language validators. Apart from that, the readability test results show that the Sinau Aksawa learning media received a score of 95% from teachers and a score of 82.55% from students.

Abstract

Mathematics learning at the elementary school level has a crucial role in students' cognitive development. Although it is often perceived as a boring and difficult material, especially in understanding the concept of multiplication, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model (PBL) combined with the P4 basket media in improving students' problem-solving skills, understanding of mathematical concepts, and cognitive thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental design by involving grade III students at SDN Kanigoro 03 Blitar Regency as a control and experimental group. The purposive sampling method was applied to select 26 students from class IIIA as the control group and 26 students from class IIIB as the experimental group. The instruments used in this study include observation sheets to monitor the learning process and cognitive ability tests consisting of 25 questions, consisting of 15 multiple-choice questions and 10 short-fill questions. The results show that the application of the PBL model supported by the P4 basket media can improve students' learning outcomes in multiplication materials, improve their understanding of mathematical concepts, and improve analytical thinking skills. These findings indicate that PBL can be an effective approach in teaching mathematics at the primary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop thematic learning video media to improve discussion skills of fifth grade students in elementary schools. The scientific approach of the 2013 Curriculum is the basis for development, with a focus on learning methods that encourage active participation and critical thinking. Using the Research and Development (R&D) model adapted from Borg and Gall, this study went through the validation stages of material, media, and language experts. The validation results showed a feasibility percentage of 88.34% for material, 80.60% for media, and 84.45% for language, all in the "very feasible" category. Trials on 20 students showed a positive response with a percentage of 94%. This video media successfully facilitated a more interactive learning experience and increased students' interest and discussion skills. These findings support the use of digital learning media as an effective tool in thematic education in elementary schools.
