Abstract

Rewards and motivation are one of the most important instruments in employee performance. Other variables are also included in a study to determine the positive or negative effect of a level of employee satisfaction, where these factors affect the performance of employees working in a company. While the factors that affect job satisfaction can come from the individual itself, social factors, the main job faced and also external factors. Another problem faced by companies in general is the difficulty in measuring the factors that affect employee performance. So, through the questionnaire variables in the form of work motivation, organizational culture and work discipline, measurements are carried out by processing data using the SEM method so that the intervention value will be published as a satisfaction level value that affects employee performance level values. The data collection method used in this study was by using a questionnaire method which was distributed to 300 respondents, namely BPJS Employment employees in the entire DKI Jakarta area. With the results of calculating the average descriptive analysis of the 3 dependent variables, namely work motivation variable 4.79, organizational culture variable 4.93 and work discipline variable 4.86. While the results of the analysis of employee performance variables were 4.94 and the results of the analysis of job satisfaction variables were 4.75. So, it means that motivation, organizational culture and work discipline have a positive effect on job satisfaction and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication, work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Surgika Alkesido. The sampling method used is Non-Probability Sampling with Purposive sampling technique. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods and inferential analysis using primary data in the form of a closed questionnaire to 100 respondents. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. From the data that has fulfilled the validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and model feasibility test, a regression equation is obtained. The regression analysis results in this study indicate a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, shown in the coefficient table in the regression equation model. The results of the model feasibility test shown with the significant value shown in the model feasibility table which means that the model in this study is feasible to use based on the significant value obtained. The results of the hypothesis conclusion with the t test obtained a positive and significant value on the variables of communication, work motivation and work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

Human resources play a crucial role in supporting organizational dynamics, relying on collaboration and continuous activities. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted normal operations, particularly impacting the Secretariat of the PPSDMP Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture. As public servants, they must navigate through increased workloads due to limitations imposed by the pandemic. Employees' work discipline has faced challenges as health concerns take precedence, contributing to a shift to a work-from-home system, unfamiliar to many. This study investigates the impact of Workload, Work Discipline, and the Work From Home System on Employee Performance during the pandemic. Utilizing primary data from 110 employees through questionnaires, the analysis, employing multiple linear regression in SPSS 25.0, indicates a positive and significant effect of Workload, Work Discipline, and the Work From Home System on Employee Performance. The study suggests that government agencies should prioritize these factors to enhance employee performance, recommending adjustments in workload and reinforcing work discipline amidst the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for accommodating the new work system, particularly for employees unfamiliar with technology, as a cultural shift to improve overall performance during these challenging times.
