Abstract

The downstream fishing industry in the form of fish processing has great potential to improve community welfare. In addition to providing added value to fishery products, fish processing is one solution if there is an overproduction of fishery catches. Salted fish processing producers at MSMEs Jaya Salted Fish in Langkak Village, Kuala Pesisir District, Nagan Raya Regency are currently continuing to improve production efficiency for production optimization. There are technical limitations in terms of production efficiency by partners so that counseling and training on improving production efficiency are needed. The methods used in this service are counseling and training. This activity was carried out at the MSME Jaya Ikan Asin unit in Langkak Village, District. Kuala Pesisir Nagan Raya Regency on October 1-2, 2022. This activity began with the manufacture of fishery products in the form of Bombay Duck salted fish. In this activity, there are several stages of activities, namely surveys, salted fish processing processes, and salted fish drying. This activity is carried out well so that it can increase the number of types of Bombay Duck salted fish production in MSMEs jaya salted fish

Abstract

Aceh merupakan salah satu penghasil komoditas tuna terutama ikan tuna sirip kuning (Thunnus albacares) terbesar di Indonesia, karena dikelilingi oleh perairan Samudra Hindia dan Laut Andaman, serta memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Kurangnya informasi daerah penangkapan membuat nelayan di wilayah Aceh masih menggunakan tanda-tanda alam seperti keberadaan burung dan lokasi penangkapan yang sama sebagai daerah penangkapan, sehingga hasil penangkapan kurang efektif dan efesien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan jumlah hasil tangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning, menganalisis pengaruh sebaran klorofil-a terhadap hasil tangkapan, dan membuat peta potensial daerah penangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengamati terhadap data primer dan pengamatan data sekunder. Hasil tangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning selama penelitian di perairan Utara Provinsi Aceh pada bulan November 2020 adalah 5,864 Kg dan bulan Desember 2020 adalah 3,342 Kg. Sebaran kandungan klorofil-a pada bulan November relatif tinggi yaitu berkisar antara 0,189-1,082 mg/m3 dengan rata-rata 0,635 mg/m3dan pada bulan Desember berkisar antara 0,101-2,568 mg/m3 dengan rata-rata 1,258 mg/m3. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,18 artinya hubungan kandungan klorofil-a terhadap hasil tangkapan adalah 18% dan sisanya 82% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Sebaran daerah potensial penangkapan ikan tuna sirip kuning di perairan Utara Aceh terdapat di perairan sekitaran pulau Aceh dan perairan Barat Selatan Aceh.

Abstract

Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai dengan Mai  2018 yang berlokasi di dua kecamatan, yaitu di Kecamatan Beutong dan Kecamatan Seunagan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Metode pengambailan data dilakukan secara sensus dengan sasaran responden pembudidaya ikan untuk pengambilan data primer. Anlalisis finansial diperoleh melalui kajian terhadap data primer pembudidaya ikan dengan nilai finansial B/C ratio sebesar 2,25, perhitungan pendapatan menggunakan rumus π = TR – TC. Hasil yang diperoleh nilai sebesar Rp 2.087.234/panen alokasi biaya terbesar dikeluarkan petani untuk masing-masing usaha terdapat pada biaya pakan yaitu Rp 33.632.181,81 (77,72%) dan Rp.15.354.046.89 (46,46%) dari total biaya yang dikeluarkan petani ikan. Keuntungan yang diterima petani ikan untuk masing-masing usaha yaitu sebesar  Rp 4.241.255,56/periode produksi untuk usaha budidaya ikan nila dan ikan Mas dalam kolam dan Rp 3.708.062,35/periode produksi. Faktor yang pempengaruhi pendapatan usaha ikan nila dan ikan mas adalah benih ikan,  pupuk, dan pakan.

Abstract

AbstractRumpon is one of the environmentally friendly fishing gear that functions to collect fish and can be used as a fishing ground. This research was carried out in the waters of Aceh Singkil in December 2022 and January 2023. The identification results were 6 species from 4 families of pelagic fish caught around rumpon in Aceh Singkil Waters, namely Elagatis bipinulata, Carangoides ignobilis, Scombrioides tala, Euthynus affinis, Selar crumenophthalmus, and Sardinella lemuru. The diversity index of Balai Island is low with a value of 0.90 and around Baguk Island the diversity index is high with a value of 0.93. The uniformity of pelagic fish around Balai Island is relatively low with a value of 0.30 and around Baguk Island the uniformity index is high with a value of 0.85. While the Pelagic fish dominance index around Balai Island is relatively high with a value of 0.68 and around Baguk Island the dominance index is also low with a value of 0.43.Keywords: Aceh Singkil, ikan pelagis, rumpon

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sunti acid on the ALT and mold as an antimicrobial in keumamah loin. The research is experimental and uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment 1 was soaking in sunti acid suspension as much as 10% (F1), as much as 20% (F2), as much as 30% (F3), and without immersion (F0). The parameters observed were ALT and mold. The results of these two studies were analyzed using one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan's test. The results showed that the highest ALT was in F0 (7.51x105CFU/mL) and the lowest was in sample F3 (6.36x105CFU/mL), then the highest mold value was in sample F0 (7.68x105CFU/mL), and the lowest was in F3 (6.46x105CFU/mL). The difference in the concentration of sunti acid suspension had a significant effect on the ALT and mold on keumamah loin at the 95% confidence interval

Abstract

Penangkapan dan Tingkat reproduksi yang rendah merupakan ancaman terbesar bagi populasi hiu dan pari (selanjutnya disebut sebagai elasmobranch), hampir sepertiga jenis dalam status terancam. Populasi pari mengalami tekanan yang lebih tinggi dibanding hiu, khususnya di kawasan Asia Tenggara. Meskipun begitu, Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan pendaratan hiu dan pari yang dominan bagin ditingkat global maupun regional. Kondisi tersebut dapat dicegah dengan pengelolaan perikanan untuk menjamin berkelanjutan populasi pari. Salah satu informasi yang diperlukan adalah pemetaan penangkapan dan musim penangkapan sebagai indikasi habitat kritis pari. Tujuan penelitian adalah menyediakan informasi jenis, jumlah, ukuran dan sebaran daerah penangkapan pari saat musim barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan Desember 2022 hingga Februari 2023 di PPI Ujong Baroh, Aceh Barat. Informasi dikumpulkan dengan survei onboard perikanan jaring insang tetap dan pukat hela, enumerasi di lokasi pendaratan dan pemetaan sebaran daerah penangkapan. Sebanyak 2.232 individual pari didaratkan selama periode studi. Pendaratan didominasi 10 jenis yakni Maculabatis macrura (91,44%), Neotrygon caeruleopunctata (2,11%), Taeniurops meyeni (1,97%), Gymnura zonura (1,88%), Pateobatis uarnacoides (0,94%), Himantura undulata (0,63%), Rhynchobatus australiae (0,45%), Aetomylaenus nichofii (0,45%), Himantura leoparda australiae (0,09%) dan Mobula kuhlii australiae (0,04%). Pari yang didaratkan umumnya belum matang gonad 94,08%. Daerah penangkapan pari umumnya berjarak 2.16 mil  atau nmil dari PPI Ujung Baroh.

Abstract

Fishery port facilities play a pivotal role in supporting capture fisheries operations. Inadequate capacity, incomplete facilities, and inefficient layout can hinder the smooth operation of fisheries activities. PPI Ujong Baroeh, as a strategic center for capture fisheries, suffered severe damage from the tsunami disaster. Although reconstruction efforts have been made, an evaluation of the condition and utilization of post-disaster facilities is necessary. This study aims to analyze the physical condition and utilization level of facilities at PPI Ujong Baroeh through descriptive and case study methods. Data were collected through direct observation of the types, conditions, and utilization levels of facilities during the period of April 2023. The research results show a very high level of facility utilization at PPI Ujong Baroeh, with almost all facilities being utilized optimally.

Abstract

South Aceh currently has 5 fish landing base points (PPI), namely PPI Lhok Bengkuang, PPI Labuhan Haji, PPI Sawang Ba'u, PPI Keude Mekek and PPI Keude Bakongan. There are three types of fishing fleets in South Aceh in 2019, namely motorboats, motorboats, and non-motorized boats. The fishing gear used by South Aceh fishermen is fishing rods, gill nets, shrimp nets, ring trawls, payang, rawai, tonda, beach trawls and bagan. The purpose of this study is to find out the types of fishing gear and fish catches in PPI Lhok Bengkuang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2022, data yang diambil yaitu data primer dan data sekunder, data primer berupa data koesioner sebanyak 44 responden. The method of selecting respondents was carried out by the purposive sampling method for fishermen at PPI Lhok Bengkuang and secondary data was obtained from related agencies. This research method uses descriptive analysis, the data analysis process is in accordance with the instructions in the Decree of the Minister of Fisheries and Fisheries Regulation number 6 of 2010 concerning fishing equipment in the national standard WPPRI. The results of the study showed that there were 3 main fishing gear at PPI Lhok Bengkuang that were environmentally friendly, namely stretch fishing rods, bottom fishing gear and ring trawls, then there was 1 type of fishing gear that was prohibited, namely fishing gear that used a compressor. The type of fishing gear is included in PermenKP No. 6 of 2010 at PPI Lhok Bengkuang.

Abstract

One of the regions contributing to stingray fisheries production in Indonesia is Aceh province. The condition of stingray fisheries in Indonesia is currently facing challenges as the population is decreasing while the demand for stingray fishery resources domestically and abroad continues to increase. This condition certainly requires integrated stingray fisheries management efforts so that the rays population, especially in the waters of Aceh province, remains sustainable. This study aimed to determine the number, type, and distribution of stingray fishing grounds landed at the Ujong Baroh Fish Landing Base (PPI). The research was carried out in 2 stages; the first stage was to conduct a field survey by following fishermen directly to the sea and using interview questionnaires, and the second stage was to take satellite image data of sea depth, fishing location, and fishing distance and then make a map of stingray fishing ground distribution landed at Ujong Baroh Fish Landing Base, West Aceh. The number of stingray catches landed at Ujong Baroh Fish Landing Base during the study was 428, consisting of 11 species: 369 Maculabatis macrura, 42 Myliobatis tobijei, 14 Rhynchobatus australiae, 28 Dasyatis kuhlii, 8 Pateobatis uarnacoides, 7 Gymnura zonura, 6 Himantura leoparda, 2 Rhina ancylostoma, 2 Rhinobatos borneensis, 1 Aetobatus narinari, and 1 Taeniuriops meyeni. The results of the mapping analysis showed 18 distribution points of stingray fishing grounds and 4 fishing locations that obtained stingray catches, namely at the coordinates of 338.136'N and 9629.056'E, 42.144'N and 962.431'E, 416.599'N and 9532.000'E, 334.51472'N and 9625.80414'E.Keywords:MappingFishing GroundStingrayEastern Season
