Abstract

The development of technology has encouraged the creating a more efficient and secure door security system. This study designs and implements an automatic door monitoring and control system based on the ESP32-CAM microcontroller and ultrasonic sensors. This system is designed to detect the presence of objects or people in front of the door using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. The ESP32-CAM module is used to send images or videos in real time to the user's device via a Wi-Fi connection to be displayed on the LCD screen, and allows remote monitoring. In addition, the system is equipped with a manual control feature via a web-based application. The test results show that the system is able to respond quickly to object detection at a certain distance, and provide adequate visual monitoring quality in a local network. This system is expected to improve comfort, security, and efficiency in managing automatic door access, especially in private environments and public facilities.

Abstract

The presence of oil palm plantations is known to have had a good economic impact on the region. However, on the other hand, it causes the dependence of farming households in rural areas on this single commodity. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of dependence of farming households in villages on oil palm farming income and the factors that affect it. To measure dependency we use a quantitative method with logistic regression. The data used consisted of primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by interviewing 93 oil palm farmers. The results of the study show that the average dependence of farmer households on oil palm farming income reaches around 60%. This high dependence creates vulnerability when there is an income shock due to fluctuations in palm oil prices. The factors that significantly affect the dependence on oil palm income are the area of oil palm land and the variety of types of jobs owned by farmer households.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the income of oil palm farming, as well as to analyze the level of economic ability of oil palm farmer households in replanting. The sample in this study was farmers taken from Sukamulya Village as many as 64 respondents. The data analysis method used is quantitative analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The results of the study show that oil palm farmers are economically able to finance oil palm replantation. However, 21 year-old oil palm farmers have not been able to meet the needs of their farmers until the crop produces with 54% economic capacity. This is because 24 year-old Swiss coconut farmers have a higher income outside of agriculture (Non-Farm), which is 49% compared to income from oil palm. Thus, it can be concluded that the income outside of agriculture of oil palm farmers is very helpful for farmers to meet household needs.

Abstract

This study addresses the urgency of understanding how digital marketing strategies influence consumer behavior in the competitive apparel industry, particularly focusing on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The research aims to analyze the effects of Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Brand Awareness (BA) on consumer purchase decisions for Cahaya Megah T-Shirt. Employing a quantitative descriptive and verificative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, and t-tests. The results indicate that both Social Media Marketing and Brand Awareness have a significant positive impact on consumer purchase decisions, with Brand Awareness showing a stronger influence. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by providing empirical evidence specific to the Indonesian SME context and offers practical insights for business owners to optimize their digital marketing investments and enhance brand strategies to drive consumer purchasing behavior.

Abstract

Waste management in Pangkalan Buton Village is a crucial issue in sustainable development, especially in vulnerable coastal areas. This research examines the current condition of waste management facilities, the level of compliance with environmental regulations, and public participation. Findings show that daily waste generation reaches 0.4 kg per person, mostly consisting of biodegradable organic waste. However, the lack of recycling and composting infrastructure hinders proper processing. Waste collection services are inconsistent, and public awareness remains low. The study recommends enhancing community education through continuous outreach programs and strengthening the role of the DPRKPLH. Developing modern waste management infrastructure, implementing data-based monitoring and evaluation systems, and enforcing environmental laws are also essential. Collaboration between local government, private sectors, and communities should be improved, especially through CSR initiatives and the use of digital tools like reporting apps. Effective waste management not only preserves the environment but also creates economic opportunities through recycling and compost production. Ultimately, a holistic and integrated approach involving education, infrastructure, law enforcement, and technological innovation is necessary to achieve efficient, sustainable, and community-supported waste management in Pangkalan Buton Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengkaji serta mengenali strategi media sosial yang digunakan oleh silang.ig dalam mewujudkan akses daring yang lebih inklusif bagi komunitas teman tuli di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif digunakan peneliti, dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, pengamatan, dan studi dokumen sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Adapun informan pada peneltian ini berjumlah delapan orang yang terdiri dari manajemen silang.ig sebanyak tiga orang, dan teman tuli yang mengakses layanan sebanyak lima orang. Teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman digunakan dalam meganalisis data yang didapatkan. Hasil riset ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan oleh silang.ig, seperti penggunaan Bahasa Isyarat Indonesia (BISINDO) dan konten yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan teman tuli, efektif dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi. Teman tuli merespon positif terhadap konten yang disediakan, dan merasa lebih mudah dalam mengakses informasi yang relevan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pekerjaan sosial, khususnya dalam penerapan konsep-konsep aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas. Temuan ini dapat dijadikan acuan oleh berbagai kalangan dalam upaya pemecahan masalah aksesibilitas informasi bagi penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia.

Abstract

The motivation for this research stems from the significant impact of information technology on education, ushering in a new era of development. However, this technological advancement has not been accompanied by a proportional increase in human resources, creating a need for systemic changes to expedite improvements and achieve quality education objectives. This study aims to analyze the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, and influencing factors (both supportive and detrimental) of an e-learning-based academic management information system, as well as its impact on enhancing learning quality at MAN 1 Bandung. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the research findings indicate that the e-learning-based Academic Management Information System positively affects learning quality through engaging slide presentations and effective teaching methods, enabling both teachers and students to participate in a serious yet enjoyable learning process. the result shows that the implementation of e-learning in Islamic Religious Education can significantly enrich students' learning experiences and facilitate wider access to teaching materials. The conclusion is that effective implementation of e-learning platforms, coupled with strategic management and quality control, is crucial for optimizing educational outcomes and fostering a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

The Indonesian government's peat restoration program, which began in 2016, is alleged to have an impact on the sustainability of peatland farming, because rewetting has the potential to cause waterlogging, limiting the crop commodities that can be cultivated. This project will look at the viability of small-scale farming on restored peatlands. To fulfill the study's objectives, we used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative technique included an analysis of agricultural income to determine the economic sustainability, whereas the qualitative approach explains social sustainability. The environmental sustainability was assessed using the carbon rescue acquired after rewetting. The findings revealed that rewetting had little effect on the income from vegetable and fruit crops. The farming income, which remains relatively high, demonstrates that farming's economic sustainability is viable. Similarly, the social dimension does not detract from the sustainability aspect, because the rewetting of the land did not significantly alter the social structures and institutions that had been built in the farmer's community. Meanwhile, from an environmental standpoint, the impact of rewetting is quite favorable, as every 1 cm increase in water table level has the potential to conserve at least 0.71 tons of CO2 per acre per year, or around IDR 13,888−26,993. Abstract

Penerapan teknologi AI yang berkembang saat ini sangat membantu dalam mendukung kemajuan UMKM di berbagai bidang termasuk dalam bidang pemasaran. Dengan memanfaatkan Teknologi AI dapat membantu UMKM yang terkendala dengan desain produk dan pemasaran secara online dan juga pengumpulan dan analisis data konsumen. Penggunaan AI juga dapat memberikan personalisasi dan rekomendasi, mengotomatisasi layanan pelanggan, memprediksi tren dan perilaku konsumen juga mengoptimalkan iklan dan konten pemasaran. PkM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM di Desa Warnasari, Kabupaten Bandung dalam pemanfaatan AI untuk pemasaran digital. AI marketing menjadi suatu metode yang dapat memudahkan dalam melakukan kegiatan pemasaran. Dengan menggunakan konsep kecerdasan buatan seperti machine learning dapat memudahkan dalam menjangkau pelanggan agar tecapai tujuan pemasaran. Peningkatan penjualan, interaksi pelanggan, dan kepuasan peserta juga tercatat sebagai indikator keberhasilan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam mempercepat transformasi digital UMKM serta mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Work time is the amount of time determined to carry out a number of routine or ordinary activities carried out inside and outside the household in units of time or hours. Rubber farming and oil palm farming are farming activities that are in great demand in Indonesian society and are important crops as a source of income for farmers. The problem that can be identified in this study is how the outflow of labor based on gender on rubber and oil palm farms in North Amboyo Village, Ngabang Sub-district, Landak Regency. This research was conducted from March 18 to April 18, 2024. The research method in this study is the survey method. The population in this study were all rubber farmers and oil palm farmers in North Amboyo Village, Ngabang District, Landak Regency, totaling 31 rubber farmers and 42 oil palm farmers. The variables of this study consisted of the work time of rubber farmers and oil palm farmers producing which was calculated within one month. The data analysis technique used in this study is the T-Test (Independent Sample T-Test). t test results Sig value. (2-tailed) in the table is 0.000 so it can be said that there is a significant difference between the labor expenditure of rubber farmers and oil palm farmers. There is a significant difference in the comparison of labor expenditure based on gender in rubber and oil palm farming with the test results, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000. This means that of the two research objectives there is a significant difference in the comparison of labor expenditure of rubber farmers and oil palm farmers, as well as the comparison of labor expenditure based on gender in North Amboyo Village, Ngabang District, Landak Regency. Curahan waktu kerja adalah jumlah waktu yang ditentukan untuk melakukan sejumlah kegiatan rutin atau biasa dilakukan di dalam dan luar rumah tangga dalam satuan waktu atau jam. Usahatani karet dan kelapa sawit merupakan kegiatan yang banyak diminati masyarakat Indonesia dan merupakan tanaman penting sebagai sumber penghasilan bagi petani. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi pada penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana curahan tenaga kerja berdasarkan gender pada usahatani karet dan kelapa sawit di Desa Amboyo Utara Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan 18 Maret–18 April 2024. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani karet dan petani kelapa sawit yang berada di Desa Amboyo Utara Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak sebanyak 31 petani karet dan 42 petani kelapa sawit. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari curahan waktu kerja petani karet dan petani kelapa sawit menghasilkan  yang dihitung dalam kurun waktu satu bulan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Uji-T (Independent Sample T-Test). Hasil uji t nilai Sig. (2-tailed) pada tabel yaitu 0.000 sehingga bisa dikatakan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara curahan tenaga kerja petani karet dan petani kelapa sawit. Perbedaan yang signifikan pada perbandingan curahan tenaga kerja berdasarkan gender pada usahatani karet dan kelapa sawit dengan hasil uji yaitu nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000. Artinya dari dua tujuan penelitian tersebut terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada perbandingan curahan tenaga kerja petani karet dan petani kelapa sawit, serta  perbandingan curahan tenaga kerja berdasarkan gender di Desa Amboyo Utara Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak.
