Abstract

The description of the determinants of teacher turnover intention in Vocational High School (SMK) is still not optimally depicted in Indonesia. This condition is due to the limited number of special studies that focus on teacher turnover intentions for vocational school teachers. At the same time, the role of vocational school teachers is essential for the sustainability of educational institutions. Therefore, this study aims to build a conceptual model that determines teacher turnover intention. Literature research data was collected between 2006 and 2021, sourced from Google Scholar. In addition, the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) and bibliometric approaches were used for data analysis. The findings of the study lead to the development of a conceptual model to determine teacher turnover intention, which includes five variables: job satisfaction, interpersonal stress, efficacy, prosocial motivation, and organizational culture. It was found that teacher turnover intention can be measured through three dimensions: the possibility of individuals leaving the organization, teachers' cognitions and attitudes, and the frequency and intensity of intentions.

Abstract

The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) is an activity carried out by community groups that jointly work on their yard as a source of food in a sustainable manner to increase availability, accessibility and utilization, as well as income. This study aimed to find out the characteristics of yard cultivation in the program and found that the majority of participants had yards with an area of less than 100 m2 with an average land area of 32.4 m2, and most used polybags to grow vegetables and fruits. Participants' perceptions of the use of their yards went well. This can be proven by the high perception of P2L participants. Of the 7 types of perceptions interviewed, 65 respondents had a high perception score category with an average score of 3.26, which means that P2L participant respondents had a good perception of the P2L program in Pontianak City. The conclusion of this study is that the P2L program in Pontianak City is effective in increasing the availability, accessibility, and use of home gardens as a sustainable food source. The active participation of the community in cultivating their home gardens is an important factor and has a positive impact on income and food sustainability.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the differences of opinion among scholars regarding the legal imposition of obligations on the public by the Islamic state other than zakat. The main focus of this article is on the views of Abu Yusuf, a prominent scholar during the Abbasid era, whose famous work al-Kharāj made a significant contribution to the development of the tax system in the Islamic state, as well as its relevance to contemporary tax law principles. In addition, the article examines the criteria for tax collection based on the perspective of fiqh. This study employs a qualitative approach using normative juridical and descriptive-analytical methods. The findings reveal that Abu Yusuf, through al-Kharāj, recognized the imposition of taxes by the state in addition to zakat, such as jizyah (a tax levied on non-Muslim citizens), ‘usyr (a tithe, typically one-tenth of agricultural produce), and kharāj (a land tax on agricultural lands). During the time of Prophet Muhammad PBUH there were no established regulations regarding kharāj and ‘usyr. The implementation of these two taxes began during the era of ‘Umar bin al-Khaṭṭāb RA, following the conquest of Persian territories, particularly the fertile region of Sawad in Iraq, where kharāj was imposed on land and ‘usyr was levied on non-Muslim traders entering Islamic territories. The conclusion of this study is that the imposition of taxes other than zakat is recognized in fiqh, provided it meets specific criteria, including a real and urgent need, fair and prudent implementation, allocation of tax revenue for public interest, and consultation between the leader and experts prior to tax imposition. The practical implication of this study is that the application of taxes in accordance with fiqh criteria can serve as an additional source of revenue for Islamic states to develop infrastructure and improve social welfare, particularly in efforts to alleviate poverty.

Abstract

The progression of information technology compels organizations to adeptly leverage customer data, particularly in mitigating the elevated rate of client attrition resulting from insufficient comprehension of consumer behavior and limited personalization in marketing approaches.  This study aims to develop and implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, coupled with an RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) dashboard, for the fashion enterprise Whoop Culture.  This system employs the equal-width intervals binning approach to categorize clients based on purchase frequency, transaction value, and the recency of their latest transaction, thereby facilitating the company's understanding of the needs and preferences of each customer category.  This online solution is designed to analyze client data and execute segmentation, facilitating more targeted marketing techniques.  This research aims to enhance the company's performance by gaining a deeper understanding of consumer behavior, enabling Whoop Culture to improve customer retention, sales, and resource allocation.
