Abstract

[EN] Run-off management is the main challenge of every big city. Land availability, project timeframe, and financing are several issues regarding run-off management implementation, including Indonesia’s Capital City, Jakarta. One of the engineering tools that used to reduce the negative impacts of run-off in Jakarta is Infiltration Well. Several researches on this topic confirm the positive impact of building infiltration well on small catchment area. This study aims to understand the efficacy of infiltration well project on big basin area, the Ciliwung Basin. Ciliwung basin is divided into two sub-basin, Upstream Ciliwung and Downstream Ciliwung. The analysis is performed using volumetric abstraction of infiltration well volume and daily infiltration rate. 4 rainfall stations are used in this study, 2-gauge rainfall stations on each basin. Infiltration well capacity is tested with different return-period rainfall based on daily and storm-rainfall (3-days cumulative rainfall). The results show that by implementing 1 million infiltration wells at each sub-basin the abstraction volume is below 10% for 10-year return period rainfall and below 5% for 25-year return period rainfall.

Abstract

Provinsi Riau merupakan salah satu provinsi yang memiliki garis pantai. Pulau Rupat merupakan bagian dari Provinsi Riau yang letaknya berbatasan langsung dengan Selat Melaka. Potensi Pulau Rupat sebagai wilayah pesisir banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai objek pariwisata, pemukiman dan industri. Sebagai pulau terluar di wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI), maka perlu identifikasi dan pemetaan tingkat kerentanan pantai di Pulau Rupat sehingga dapat memberikan rekomendasi wilayah mana di Pulau Rupat yang harus diselamatkan dari kerusakan pantai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berdasarkan pendekatan Indeks Kerentanan Pantai (IKP) dan Geographical Information System (GIS) untuk menentukan parameter perubahan garis pantai. Sedangkan data penelitan bersumber dari hasil survey lapangan kerusakan pantai di wilayah penelitian serta data citra satelit selama 20 tahun terakhir (2000-2020) untuk melihat besarnya perubahan garis pantai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, tingkat kerentanan pantai di Pulau Rupat berada dalam kategori rendah hingga sangat tinggi dengan kondisi teknis mengalami abrasi maupun akresi. Penelitian ini juga memberikan hasil bahwa Desa Tanjung Jaya, Tanjung Punak, Teluk Lapin, Kedur, Makeruh, Pergam, Batu Panjang, Tanjung Kapal terjadi pengurangan garis pantai di mana Desa Pergam memiliki pengurangan garis pantai tertinggi yaitu sebesar 3,557 m/tahun.

Abstract

Kekeringan adalah salah satu bencana alam yang terjadi secara perlahan berlangsung lama hingga musim hujan tiba yang mempunyai dampak yang luas. Salah satu dampak kekeringan pada bidang pertanian pernah terjadi pada kabupaten Indragiri Hulu pada tahun 2015. Daerah irigasi (D.I) Kelayang merupakan daerah irigasi potensial yang mengairi wilayah pertanian di Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. Untuk menanggulangi dampak kekeringan untuk masa yang akan datang perlu dilakukan peramalan indeks kekeringan. Indeks kekeringan sangat bergantung pada curah hujan. Untuk itu dilakukan peramalan curah hujan D.I Kelayang menggunakan metode Seasonal Autogressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) karena diduga curah hujan merupakan data yang mengandung pola musiman. Kemudian dilakukan analisis indeks kekeringan menggunakan metode Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI). Hasil penelitian diperoleh model SARIMA (2,0,1)(0,1,1)12 merupakan model yang layak digunakan untuk peramalan karena telah melewati uji kerandoman dan kenormalan residual dengan mean squared dari residual yang terkecil yakni 4111,51. Setelah data peramalan curah hujan tahun 2019 didapatkan, dilakukan analisa indeks kekeringan dan diperoleh indeks SPI bernilai negatif yang tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Januari yaitu -0,252, sedangkan SPI bernilai positif tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Juli yaitu sebesar 0,169. Indeks kekeringan di D.I Kelayang bersifat “Normal”. Peramalan indeks kekeringan ini dapat menjadi informasi tambahan bagi Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana.

Abstract

An earthen pond was built at the location of catfish farming in Rumbai Bukit Village. Water sources come from springs, rainwater and water flow from surrounding channels. The volume of pond water during the dry season continuously decreases. The water level is reduced by > 10% per day in ponds 1, 2, and 3. To overcome the pond water level lowering, a pump is needed to drain water from pond 3 to pond 1 at the filter pond with a power of 16.23 watts. With the power requirements and pump capacity, the Aqua 125 W Pump was chosen, with a capacity of 30 Lpm, with a total head of 37 meters. Measurement of water quality before installing the pump and water filter showed that the pH ranged from 6.5-7.4, TDS ranged from 68-78 ppm, and the temperature was 27-34⁰C and after the pump and water filter were installed it was seen that the pH ranged from 6.6-7, 8 (an increase), TDS ranged from 66-41 ppm and a temperature of 26-29⁰C (decreased). The results obtained indicate that the application of pumps and water filters facilitates water circulation in ponds 1, 2, and 3 as well as 4, 5. Extension activities on the design of the soil pond and the application of pumps and water filters have overcome the decline in pond water levels during the dry season.

Abstract

Farmers are concerned about the problem of drought in agriculture because it will disrupt the production system and cause losses. In 2015, the Indragiri Hulu area experienced a drought on 273 hectares of agricultural land. This area is part of the Indragiri River Watershed in Riau Province. To prevent the impact of future droughts, forecasting is required. The level of drought is influenced by rainfall, so the Seasonal Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) method is used to model rainfall data. In addition, the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) is also used to analyze the drought index. After the analysis, it was found that the best model in forecasting is SARIMA model (1,0,1)(2,1,1)12 with an average residual square of 18.0175, and the drought index in the Indragiri watershed is currently included in the  "Normal" category. The results of this forecasting are expected to assist the Riau Province National Disaster Management Agency in anticipating and mitigating the impact of future drought disasters.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the study of biomarkers is still very few because not many biomarkers are understood in various inland public waters here. The research location was at the Koto Panjang Reservoir as the experimental location and the Sei Tiban Fish Seed Center as the control location. The fish tested were carp and tilapia. Sample analysis was carried out in a certified laboratory at Construction Materials Laboratory, Department of Public Works, and Genetics Laboratory, Universitas Riau. The biomarkers studied were LSI, GSI and MT, and heavy metals observed were Cd, Pb and Hg. The research method was Experimental Design. Based on the statistical test, there was no difference in the LSI value of tilapia in the treatment group and tilapia in the control group (p = 0.187; p > 0.05), while it was different from goldfish (p = 0.0000; p < 0.001). In GSI, both of tilapia and carp showed significant differences (p = 0.0010; p < 0.010) and (p = 0.0060; p < 0.010). The tilapia and carp-treated livers showed the presence of MT while not in the control fish. This indicates that MT can be used as a biological marker of heavy metal exposure compared to GSI and LSI.

Abstract

Sengarat fish (Belodontichthys dinema, Bleeker 1851) is one of the most important freshwater fish. No research has been Relationship of weight length and condition Factors of Sengarat Fish in Kampar River waters. Sampling was conducted in March-October 2022 using gill net fishing gear and bubu in the Kampar watershed in the Buluh Nipis Village area, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau. Data analyzed using Ms Excel 2010 application from the results of fish growth pattern analysis (n = 16) showed a value = 0.0118 and b value = 2.7765, R2 of 0.976. The growth pattern of sengarat fish is negative allometric. The condition factor of sengarat fish is relatively good, with a value of 0.497 and Wr = 129.79.

Abstract

The number of processed fish circulating in the market does not necessarily guarantee that thepreparation has a level of cleanliness and nutritional content that is good for health. One form ofprocessed food favored by children is nuggets. By being processed into nuggets, fish becomes easyto eat, making it suitable to be used as food for children. The purpose of this activity is (1) to introducevarious processed fish that are healthy, nutritious, delicious and definitely liked by children, (2) todisseminate information about various kinds of processed fish that are liked by children, and (3) toteach ways to process fish-based foods. This activity was carried out in Kualu Village, KamparRegency, Riau Province. Activities are carried out through counseling with several stages, namelylectures, direct demonstrations and practice, giving leaflets, and monitoring. The achievement ofactivities in the form of counseling about the making of catfish nugget and its handling by housewivesin area 5, RW 01, Kualu Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. The women who were taughtwere women from RT 10. The conclusion of this activity was that by increasing the ability of women inRT 10 RW 01 Kualu Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency in making catfish nuggets, theoutreach program was successful in making catfish nuggets increase the insight of mothers in makingvariations of fish-based foods.

Abstract

Hujan merupakan salah satu parameter dasar dalam bidang klimatologi dan hidrologi yang memiliki variasi spasial dan temporal yang kompleks. Informasi yang akurat tentang distribusi curah hujan diperlukan di banyak sektor. Klasifikasi iklim Oldeman adalah salah satu metode klasifikasi iklim yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola iklim di suatu daerah berdasarkan curah hujan. Oldeman mengelompokkan curah hujan ke dalam tiga kategori yaitu bulan kering yaitu bulan dengan curah hujan kurang dari 100 mm, bulan lembab yaitu bulan dengan curah hujan antara 100 mm hingga 200 mm, dan bulan basah yaitu bulan dengan curah hujan lebih dari 200 mm. Nilai rata-rata hujan bulanan yang ada di Provinsi Riau bervariasi dengan nilai minimum sebesar 70,938 mm dan nilai maksimum adalah 656,302 mm. Hujan bulanan di seluruh stasiun hujan yang ada didominasi oleh bulan lembab yaitu sebesar 58,12%, diikuti bulan basah sebesar 36,11%, dan yang terkecil adalah bulan kering sebesar 5,77%. Bulan kering di Provinsi Riau terdapat pada bulan Februari, Juni, Juli, dan Agustus, sementara pada bulan April, November, dan Desember didominasi oleh bulan basah. Pada bulan Februari dan Juni wilayah yang mengalami bulan kering adalah sebesar 15,38%, bulan kering terbesar pada bulan Juli yaitu 25,64%, serta pada bulan Agustus sebesar 12,82%. Bulan basah mendominasi wilayah di Provinsi Riau yaitu pada bulan April sebesar 71,79%, bulan November sebesar 89,74%, dan bulan Desember sebesar 82,05%.

Abstract

The research it was conducted on March to May 2021 at Hatchery Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. This study aims to determine the growth of Osphronemus gouramy fish that given POC (Organic Liquid Fertilizer) with different doses with the Aquaponic system. This research using a container bucket -sized 100 liters as much as 15 units. Dose POC ( Fertilizer Organic Liquid ) were used in the study is that P 0 (control), P 1 (0.5 ml / l), P 2 (0.875 ml / l), P 3 (1.25 ml / l), P 4 (1.625 ml / l), the technology that is used in research this is a technology Aquaponics to use the swamp as a plant . The method that is used in research is a method of experimentation that is Design Randomized Complete (RAL) one factor with a five- stage treatment and three times repetition . From the results of the research that has been done it can be known that the treatment that is best in research is the treatment of P 3 , namely the provision of POC ( Fertilizer Organic Liquid ) with a dose of 1.25 ml / l. Water quality during the study obtained temperature 26.0-26.6°C, pH 6.20-7.98, DO 6.1-7.9 mg/l, ammonia 0.0002-0.0014 mg/l, and bundance of phytoplankton 112.319 ind/l. Giving a dose of POC ( Fertilizer Organic Liquid ) differ in the maintenance of fish carp give the effect that the real against the growing weight of absolute of 10.20 grams, the growth of long- absolute of 4.26 cm, the rate of growth specifically by 1.91%, the conversion of feed at 0, 93%, 100% survival rate , plant absolute weight 7.26 grams, and plant absolute length 37.33 cm.
