Abstract

Abstrak: The aim of this research is to undertand the contribution of sociology to the world of education and its development in Indonesia. The method used qualitative research. Data is analyzed using steps: data presentation, data filtering, classification, and inference. Research results can be concluded as follows: (1) The contribution of sociology to the world of education, namely students, teachers, supervisors, principals, and supervisors, they interach as position holders in a social system that has institutional and organized goals, namely to educate students. (2) Overview of the contribution of sociology to the world of education depars form the fact that the main task of schooling (educational transactions) mainly takes place in a relatively small social system, the classroom. (3) The sociology of education departs form the reality in which the school system is never separated from it external environment as in all organizations, it is also influenced by various external forces. (4) The development of sociology of education in Indonesia includes its history, role in educational institutions, equity issues, multicultural education, the impact of globalization and technology. The discipline continues to contribute to our understanding of social roles in the complex increasingly word of education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menstimulasi kemampuan motorik anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan adalah Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah anak berjumlah 21 anak yang terdiri dari 11 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan sumber data penelitian adalah guru dan anak. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) indikator motorik anak yang meliputi koordinasi mata dan tangan, kekuatan jari tangan, dan kelenturan pergelangan tangan meningkat; (2) kegiatan seni rupa yang dapat diterapkan pada anak usia dini adalah mewarnai, menggambar, melukis, menjiplak, membentuk, menempel, meronce, dan figer painting; serta (3) kemampuan motorik anak dapat distimulasi melalui kegiatan seni rupa.

Abstract

Abstrak Abstrak: Kekerasan terhadap seorang anak merupakan salah satu kasus yang paling dominan dan banyak dijumpai kapanpun, dimanapun, hampir disetiap tempat di seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Hal ini menjadi sangat ironis, mengingat anak yang- notabene generasi penerus bangsa, seharusnya mendapatkan kasih sayang orangtua, bimbingan serta pendidikan yang penuh cinta kasih. Metodologi Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi terlbat, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi sedangkan analisis penelitian yang digunakan melalui analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Dampak dari kekerasan orang tua terhadap anak yang paling banyak terjadi di masyarakat adalah kekerasan secara psikologis. Kekerasan psikologis adalah kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh pelaku terhadap mental korban dengan cara membentak, menyumpah, mengancam, merendahkan,: memerintah, melecehkan, menguntit, dan memata-matai, atau tindakan-tindakan lain yang menimbulkan rasa takut (termasuk yang diarahkan kepada orang-orang dekat korban, misalnya keluarga, anak, suami, teman, atau orangtua).Tindak kekerasanpsikologis yang dialami oleh anak didik ternyata belum berakhir. Dalam kenyataan masih banyak kita lihatadanya bentakan, ejekan dan bahkan hukuman yang diberikan oleh para pendidik terhadap anak didik yang melakukan pelanggaran tata tertib. Dampak lainnya dari kasus kekerasan terhadap anak yaitu terhambatnya perkembangan psikologis anak baik itu secara kognitif, afektif maupun psikomotor.

Abstract

Background: Severe stress is one of the causes of hypertension, both the elderly, young adults and middle-aged people. Stress and increased blood pressure experienced by a person are the causative factors for hypertension. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the combination  of Swedish Massage Therapy with Lavender Aromatherapy on stress and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Methods: This study is a quantitative research that uses a quasy experiment research design  with a pretest - posttest control group design approach. The population of all hypertension patients in the Working Area of the Karangan Health Center, Trenggalek Regency is 107 people. The sample size was 54 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The independent variables of the study were  the Combination of Swedish Massage  Therapy with Lavender Aromatherapy and the dependent variables were stress and blood pressure. The analysis used  the Mann Whitney  test with a significant p value < 0.05. Result. Results: of the study using the Mann Whitney  test showed  a p value of 0.000 or < 0.05 related to stress and blood pressure between the intervention group and the control group after the combination of Swedish Massage  Therapy and Lavender Aromatherapy. Conclusion: The combination of Swedish Massage  Therapy with Lavender Aromatherapy is effective in reducing stress and blood pressure in hypertensive patients.  This intervention is very easy to do, so it can be applied as a nursing intervention in the work area of the health center for the development of nursing science.

Abstract

Background: Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis frequently experience issues like non-compliance with treatment, boredom from prolonged therapy, and stopping treatment due to lack of recovery. This non-compliance can lead to drug resistance, therapy failure, reduced quality of life, and a higher risk of death. This study aimed to investigate the effects of Structured Health Education combined with Peer Group Support on medication adherence and quality of life among pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Methods: This quantitative study employed an actual experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group approach. The research included 38 respondents as the sample. The independent variable was Structured Health Education with Peer Group Support, while the dependent variables were Medication Compliance and Quality of Life. The research instruments used included the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8) to measure medication compliance and the WHOQOL-BREF to assess quality of life. The Mann-Whitney Test was applied to test the study's hypotheses. Results: Structured Health Education based on peer group support is efficacious in improving patients' medication adherence and quality of life with pulmonary tuberculosis. Conclusion: Nurses in the outpatient room of the health centre can apply the results of this study in providing nursing interventions and structured health education based on peer group support to improve medication adherence and the quality of life of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

Background: In the competitive outpatient healthcare sector, clinics struggle to retain and attract returning patients. Brand image and service quality significantly influence patient satisfaction and revisit decisions. A strong reputation and high service standards are expected to enhance loyalty and revisit rates. However, their interaction in hospital settings remains underexplored. This systematic review examines how brand image and service quality affect patient return behavior, satisfaction, and loyalty in outpatient clinics. Methods: A systematic review following the PRISMA approach was conducted on studies published between 2020 and 2024. The review included research assessing the impact of brand image and service quality on patient satisfaction and revisiting intentions. Using a structured selection process, relevant studies were identified from academic databases. The analysis focused on cross-sectional, case study, and survey-based research to determine key factors influencing patient revisit behavior in outpatient healthcare settings. Results: The review found that brand image and service quality significantly impact patient revisit behavior. A strong brand image was consistently linked to higher patient loyalty and revisit intentions. High service quality, characterized by timely service, professionalism, and responsiveness, emerged as a crucial determinant of patient satisfaction and return behavior. Several studies emphasized service quality as an essential factor in shaping positive patient experiences. Additionally, the relationship between brand image and service quality was interdependent, with each factor reinforcing the other. Conclusion: This review highlights the critical roles of brand image and service quality in influencing patient revisit behavior in outpatient healthcare services. To enhance patient retention, healthcare facilities should strengthen their brand image through effective communication and improving service quality to meet patient expectations. Future research should investigate longitudinal effects and patient segmentation to understand further the dynamics of patient revisit behavior in healthcare settings.

Abstract

The trend of patient visits at the Bunda Medika Clinic in 2018-2022 has decreased. This problem can be identified by knowing the causes of low dental poly services using an experiential marketing concept approach. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of internal dental poly factors (human resources, medical and non-medical facilities, service rates) and patient expectations (customer expectations) on the patient experience (customer experience). Research with an observational analytical approach, using a cross sectional design. The research sample was general dental poly patients at the Bunda Medika Clinic in Tulungagung who had received treatment and met the inclusion criteria using a simple random sampling technique.

Abstract The curriculum as an educational design has a fairly central position in all learning activities, determining the implementation process and educational outcomes. Considering the important role of the curriculum in education and in the future development of students' lives, curriculum development cannot be done haphazardly, it must be oriented towards clear goals so that it will produce good and perfect results. Meanwhile, the definition of quality is linguistically, quality improvement consists of two words, namely improvement and quality. The word improvement means the process, method, or act of improving (business, activity, etc.). Meanwhile, the word quality means quality or (measurement of) the good and bad of an object, level, level/degree (smartness, intelligence, and so on). The concept of improving quality in education is managed through the school-based quality improvement management process (MPMBS) which is the embryo of school-based management (MBS). In MPMBS, the concept of improving school quality should be programmed, planned and carried out independently by the school based on the school's own needs to achieve success. Abstract

Permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut terutama karies gigi menjadi problem yang sering diabaikan. Karies gigi tidak hanya dialami oleh orang dewasa namun juga anak- anak. Karies gigi terjadi akibat kurangnya kesadaran dalam menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Kurangnya kesadaran terhadap kesehatan gigi dan mulut perlu adanya promosi kesehatan gigi untuk merubah perilaku sehingga dapat menurunkan angka penderita penyakit gigi dan mulut. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk menerapan konsep epidemiologi sosial secara nyata dan harapannya dapat berkontribusi meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat di bidang kesehatan gigi dan mulut terutama pencegahan karies gigi dengan model perilaku community dentistry pada siswa. Metode pengabdian masyarakat ialah identifikasi dengan observasi ke RA Kusuma Mulya VII Kediri untuk dilakukan pencarian solusi untuk mengatasi karies gigi di tingkat sekolah dengan sasaran anak usia dini. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah memberikan edukasi kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan cara menggosok gigi yang benar sebagai upaya konkret dalam menerapkan hidup sehat dengan menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut penting untuk dilakukan. Intervensi solusi mengatasi karies gigi pada anak - anak yaitu dengan memberikan edukasi yang menarik menggunakan media seperti poster, video pendek, memberikan fasilitas kebersihan gigi dan mulut, serta melakukan monitoring agar pelaksanaan penerapan model perilaku kesehatan community dentistry sebagai edukasi kesehatan dapat berjalan dengan baik. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat perilaku kesehatan community dentistry dapat dijadikan program yang efektif untuk perubahan perilaku siswa agar lebih awas terhadap kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup di kemudian hari.
