Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan empirik yang dilakukan sebuah lembaga carier development center, ternyata lulusan SMK mempunyai beberapa kelemahan yang membuat kurang diterimanya lulusan SMK oleh industry atau pengguna, yaitu: Lemahnya soft skill lulusan SMK terutama kemampuan komunikasi dan sosialisasi Jiwa kemandirian dan kewirausahaan, sehingga ketika lulus mereka selalu ingin bekerja sebagai karyawan. Lulusan SMK sangat jarang yang ingin membuka lapangan kerja berdasarkan kemampuannya, padahal salah satu target keluaran lulusan SMK adalah mampu bekerja secara mandiri dan menciptakan usaha sendiri. SMK IT Al-Abror adalah SMK di Tasikmalaya yang baru berdiri sejak Maret 2016. Sebagai SMK baru, tentunya banyak tantangan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi terutama terkait masalah SDM, Proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM), Sarana, dan Prasarana. Berdasarkan kedua kondisi tersebut itulah, setidaknya ada 2 program utama yang perlu diusulkan dan akan dilaksanakan secara bertahap, yaitu: Penguatan dan Peningkatan kompetensi SDM Siswa dan Lulusan dengan memperkuat soft skill siswa terutama lulusan SMK. Peningkatan dan pengembangan Jiwa Entrepreneursip siswa dan lulusan SMK berbasis IT Literacy melaluio pelatihan dan pendampingan kewirausahaan dengan memasukkan mata pelajaran kewirausahaa ini di kurikulum sekolah

Abstract

PT. TELKOM Tbk. is expected to have good service level, in turn will give satisfaction to their customer. In operational condition, if an equipment can not operate well, it will cause functional failure in providing communication services. The strategy to anticipate failure is strategy in using equipment that give good services. The reliability can be a reference to the equipment that's give good service level. Beside that, use of equipment must support by spare part stock. Determining strategy of using equipment is explained by using time interval that supported by some spare part. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : PT. TELKOM Tbk. diharapkan memiliki tingkat pelayanan yang baik, untuk memberi kepuasan kepada pelanggannya. Dalam kondisi operasional, jika sebuah peralatan tidak dapat beroperasi dengan baik, akan menyebabkan kegagalan fungsional dalam menyediakan jasa komunikasi. Strategi untuk mengantisipasi kegagalan adalah strategi penggunaan peralatan sehingga memberi pelayanan yang baik. Keandalan bisa menjadi acuan apakah peralatan itu memberikan tingkat pelayanan yang baik. Disamping itu, penggunaan peralatan harus didukung dengan persediaan suku cadang. Penentuan strategi penggunaan peralatan dijabarkan dengan penggunaan interval waktu yang didukung oleh sejumlah suku cadang. Kata kunci: Interval Waktu, Suku Cadang, Perawatan, Keandalan, Ketersediaan.

Abstract

Identifying building conditions for user safety is an urgent matter, especially in earthquake-prone areas. Clustering buildings according to their conditions in the categories of danger, vulnerable, normal, and safe is important information for residents and the government to take further action. This study introduces a new method, namely hybrid multivariate multinomial distribution with the softest (MMDS) in working on the process of clustering building conditions into the most appropriate category and comparable to the condition data presented in the building data set. Research using the MMDS method is very important to map the condition of existing buildings in an area supported by available data sets. The results of the measurements carried out can provide information related to the building index and were clustered based on the index value of the condition of the building. The dataset used in this study is data on school buildings in the West Java region. There are 286 school building data with four condition parameters: foundation, concrete reinforcement, easel pole, and roof. From existing data and defined condition parameters, buildings can be classified accurately and in proportion to the facts on the ground. This study also compared the proposed method, MMDS, with the baseline method, namely Fuzzy Centroid Clustering (FCC) and Fuzzy k-means Clustering (FKC). The results show that the proposed method is superior to the baseline method with a faster processing time

Abstract

Lisensi frekuensi 3.3 GHz dan Bandwidth (BW) 12.5 MHz sudah mulai diberlakukan dan diberikan kepada beberapa perusahaan. Salah satu pemegang lisensi tersebut adalah sebuah perusahaan telekomunikasi yang berlokasi di Bandung dan Jakarta. Frekuensi 3.3 GHz ini, dalam peta pergelaran layanan telekomunikasi 5G, termasuk kandidat frekuensi kerja kelas medium yang digadang-gadang bakal dilelang pemerintah untuk menjadi frekuensi kerja pergelaran 5G. Beberapa perusahaan berkepentingan untuk mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan lisensi 3.3 GHz dan BW 12.5 MHz di luar pergelaran stand-alone layanan telekomunikasi broadband berbasis teknologi 5G. Identifikasi dan studi awal menunjukkan, ada dua layanan yang berpotensi digelar dengan memanfaatkan range frekuensi dan BW tesebut, yaitu layanan jaringan sensor gempa dan Video on Demand (VoD) di DKI Jakarta. Untuk memastikan kelayakan pergelaran dua layanan ini dengan berbasis pada teknologi yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan telekomunikasi tersebut, perlu kajian lebih lanjut dengan menganalisisnya dari aspek pasar, aspek teknis, dan aspek keuangan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan analisis tekno ekonomi. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah implementasi teknologi baru 5G berlisensi frekuensi 3.3 GHz dan bandwidth 12.5 MHz pada kasus yang baru yaitu jaringan sensor gempa dibandingkan dengan layanan lainnya yaitu video on demand. Proses selanjutnya adalah komparasi parameter kelayakan pergelaran (NPV, IRR, dan Payback Period) berbasis hasil kajian terhadap dua layanan dapat dilakukan untuk menentukan kandidat layanan yang menjadi prioritas untuk diselenggarakan oleh perusahaan telekomunikasi tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dari segi aspek operasional dan finansial, proyek sensor gempa akan lebih menguntungkan bagi perusahaan karena effort yang dikeluarkan tidak terlalu besar.

Abstract

Pesantren dalam perkembangannya menjadi salah satu pilar dalam struktur pendidikan Indonesia. Tidak hanya mengajarkan pendidikan agama, pesantren juga mengajarkan pendidikan umum dan membentuk karakter santri agar siap menghadapi tantangan setelah lulus. Karena hal inilah pesantren menjadi tujuan bagi banyak orang tua sebagai tempat untuk anaknya bersekolah. Namun bencana Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah preferensi tersebut karena kekhawatiran terhadap penyebaran virus. Hal ini berdampak pada kondisi keuangan pesantren yang kebanyakan bergantung pada iuran santri. Sebagai salah satu strategi untuk mengatasi masalah ini, hidroponik jadi alternatif solusi. Hidroponik tidak hanya membantu perekonomian pesantren, namun juga memberikan kesempatan kepada pengurus pesantren dan santri untuk terjun langsung ke dunia entrepreneur. Perkembangan dunia usaha saat ini juga memaksa pengurus dan santri untuk memperkenalkan branding produk dan pemasaran melalui digital. Berdasarkan alternatif ini, ada beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan pada Pesantren Miftahul Falah yaitu pendampingan budidaya hidroponik, pembuatan branding serta potensi untuk pemasaran digital untuk hasil produk hidroponik.

Abstract

Persuasive design principles (PDP) of persuasive system features framework have shown impressive results from the context of user engagement and acceptance as well as continuous usage towards the persuasive systems involved. Yet, available literatures do not thoroughly address the implementation of these design principles specifically in mobile applications and there is insufficient discussion on the impact of the principles in relation to the overall achievement of mobile applications. Hence, this research was conducted with the aim to qualitatively explore the way PDP were implemented across three different levels of mobile applications’ attainment. For this study, seven semi-structured interviews were conducted with the involvement of fifteen (15) Android mobile applications in the area of utilities category. These mobile applications were then categorized into three categories which is successful, partially successful and less successful based on their numbers of mobile applications downloaded for three consecutive years. The results from the content analysis revealed that each of the PDP were implemented in many ways yet the most common applied principles are reduction, tailoring and personalization. However, the analysis also shows low numbers of implementation from the system credibility and social support category. In addition, most of the mobile applications of the successful category have implemented a lot more PDP as compared to the other two mobile application categories. The results from this study has provide significance towards developers, practitioners as well as the scholars from the contextual perspective of persuasive system framework also the practical values of the principles specifically the implementation in mobile application development.

Abstract

A raw dataset prepared by researchers comes with a lot of information. Whether the information is usefull or not, completely depends on the requirement and purposes. In machine learning, data pre-processing is the very initial stage. It is a must to make sure the dataset is totally suitable for the requirement. In significant directed random walk (sDRW), there are three steps in data pre-processing stage. First, we remove unwanted attributes, missing value and proper arrangement, followed by normalization of the expression value and lastly, filtering method is applied. The first two steps are completed by Bioconductor package while the last step is works in sDRW.

Abstract

The imbalanced data problems in data mining are common nowadays, which occur due to skewed nature of data. These problems impact the classification process negatively in machine learning process. In such problems, classes have different ratios of specimens in which a large number of specimens belong to one class and the other class has fewer specimens that is usually an essential class, but unfortunately misclassified by many classifiers. So far, significant research is performed to address the imbalanced data problems by implementing different techniques and approaches. In this research, a comprehensive survey is performed to identify the challenges of handling imbalanced class problems during classification process using machine learning algorithms. We discuss the issues of classifiers which endorse bias for majority class and ignore the minority class. Furthermore, the viable solutions and potential future directions are provided to handle the problems.

Abstract

The amount of digital biomedical literature grows that make most of the researchers facing the difficulties to manage and retrieve the required information from the Internet because this task is very challenging. The application of text classification on biomedical literature is one of the solutions in order to solve problem that have been faced by researchers but managing the high dimensionality of data being a common issue on text classification. Therefore, the aim of this research is to compare the techniques that could be used to select the relevant features for classifying biomedical text abstracts. This research focus on Pearson’s Correlation and Information Gain as feature selection techniques for reducing the high dimensionality of data. Towards this effort, we conduct and evaluate several experiments using 100 abstract of stroke documents that retrieved from PubMed database as datasets. This dataset underwent the text pre-processing that is crucial before proceed to feature selection phase. Features selection phase is involving Information Gain and Pearson Correlation technique. Support Vector Machine classifier is used in order to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of two feature selection techniques. For this dataset, Information Gain has outperformed Pearson’s Correlation by 3.3%. This research tends to extract the meaningful features from a subset of stroke documents that can be used for various application especially in diagnose the stroke disease.

Abstract

Banyaknya organisasi maupun individu yang belum paham terhadap keamanan jaringan sehingga mendapatkan potensi serangan dan mengalami kerusakan sistem. Untuk melakukan pecegahan potensi serangan dikembangkan yaitu Intrusion Detection System (IDS). Dari beberapa metode non-machine learning yang digunakan belum akurat, sehingga memerlukan metode dengan machine learning yang lebih akurat untuk mendeteksi serangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan, dalam penelitian melakukan perbandingan menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor dan Naïve Bayes untuk mendeteksi serangan jaringan komputer dengan optimal. Dalam penelitian ini, implementasi menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor dan Naïve Bayes dalam mendeteksi serangan HTTPDoS dengan menggunakan dataset ISCX testbed 14 Juni 2012 yang terdiri dari 157.867 paket dan sebanyak 19 fitur. Penelitian ini menganalisis perbandingan metode yang akan dihasilkan dari proses klasifikasi dengan confusion matrix dan kurva ROC. Pada hasil akhir penelitian yang diperoleh adalah metode KNN menghasilkan persentase akurasi sebesar 99,994% dan memiliki kualitas klasifikasi data yang sangat baik dibandingkan persentase akurasi Naïve Bayes 39,885%.
