Abstract

The Tiktok application is widely used by people to create and do business in Indonesia. The TikTok account @jihannnpp actively provides information about culinary places and food snacks in Cirebon. The purpose of this study is to find out the digital marketing techniques used by @jihannnpp Tiktok accounts. This study uses a qualitative method using data collection techniques. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research obtained through the Tiktok account @jihannnpp utilize digital marketing methods, namely digital marketing techniques, namely advertising techniques, hashtag techniques, promotion techniques, review techniques and distinctive characteristics. The results of advertising techniques to provide information, hashtag techniques to provide information, promotional techniques to introduce products and persuade followers and non-followers, review techniques to give reviews or assessments of the purchase consideration of a product, and characteristics on Tiktok accounts @jihannnpp to brand their character with the characteristic word "camatmam"

Abstract

Students as agents of change who will enter the industrial world are expected not only to master public speaking techniques but also to strengthen psychosocial aspects in managing emotions, building trust, and conveying information effectively. This study aims to reveal that public speaking skills play a role in the management of psychosocial maturity, the validity of data using triangulation techniques using qualitative research designs. The results of the study show that in terms of ethos, careful preparation can increase the credibility and clarity of the message conveyed by the speaker. In terms of pathos, the ability to manage emotions can reduce tension and maintain focus when speaking. Logos can increase trust by using evidence-backed arguments.

Abstract

Every child has unique characteristics, especially the middle child. Middle children bring their own challenges, they have to balance the desire to be noticed with the role as a mediator. The researcher examines more deeply the communication dynamics of middle children in the movie “Jalan yang Jauh Jangan Lupa Pulang” (A Long Way To Come Home). This research aims to reveal the communication dynamics of middle children in families, friendships, and couples using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. Through qualitative methods involving observation and interviews, this research reveals the denotation, connotation, and mythical meanings related to the role of middle children in the family. The results of the analysis show that good family communication is essential for building the middle child's self-confidence, while a lack of attention can lead to feelings of alienation and emotional conflict. In addition, this study also explores the communication dynamics of friendship and couple relationships, emphasizing that jealousy and distrust can damage interpersonal relationships. The importance of even-handed attention from the family to prevent negative impacts on the emotional development of the middle child, as well as the importance of effective communication in all aspects of the relationship, are discussed

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan dalam penerbitan akta kematian di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Cirebon. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mendeskripsikan peristiwa maupun fenomena yang terjadi dilapangan dan menyajikan data secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta atau fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber untuk mengecek keabsahan data penelitian. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga komponen yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dalam penerbitan surat akta kematian di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Cirebon sudah diterapkan dimensi Tangibel, Realiability, Responsiviness, Assurance dan Emphaty. Dan faktor penghambatnya yaitu (1) sumber daya manusia yang kurang (2) sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai (3) kesadaran masyarakat, sedangkan faktor pendukungnya adalah adanya regulasi yang ditetapkan pemerintah yang dianggap fondasi dari apa yang dikerjakan. Faktor pendukung lain adalah adanya fasilitas berupa alat bantu untuk memudahkan proses pelayanan yaitu layanan antrian online via Whatsaapp. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pelayanan Publik, Bukti langsung, Kehandalan Daya Tanggap, Jaminan dan Empati, Kepuasan Masyarakat, Kinerja Pelayanan.

Abstract

Perkembangan informasi menuntut kecepatan dan ketepatan sehingga dibutuhkan suatu media dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Setiap organisasi baik pemerintahan maupun swasta harus dapat mengelola informasi secara cepat dan tepat agar informasi terserdia saat dibutuhkan juga berkaitan dengan kepentingan banyak pihak di dalam organisasi tersebut. Di Indonesia perkembangan sistem infomasi eGovernment menjadi acuan dalam pengaplikasian aplikasi pada bidang kearsipan. Dilihat dari Instruksi Presiden Republik Indonesia tahun 2003 tentang Pengembangan e-Government menjelaskan bahwa setiap lembaga pemerintah di Indonesia harus mengikuti perkembangan e-Government terkait dengan sistem kepemerintahan Republik Indonesia yang transparan dan demokratisRiset ini mencoba untuk melihat Penerapan Aplikasi E-Surat Dalam Pengelolaan Arsip Elektronik Untuk Mendukung E-Goverment Pada Desa Palimanan Timur. Untuk melihat hal tersebut maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara. Dengan mengumpulkan data dari penggunakan layanan dan pemerintah setempat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi E-surat dapat diterapkan dalam pengelolaan arsip, sumber daya desa Palimanan Timur telah siap menggunakan E-surat dan memberikan masukan yang sesuai dengan keadaan dilapangan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the dual role of the sandwich generation on the psychological well-being of individuals entering adulthood in Cirebon City who take care of their parents and fulfill family responsibilities. The main focus is on strategies and efforts to maintain a balance between family responsibilities and personal well-being, in order to achieve a more balanced and harmonious life. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the subjective experience of individuals who enter adulthood of 20-30 years as the sandwich generation in Cirebon City. In-depth interviews were conducted to explore the emotions, expectations, and challenges that individuals face while caring for their parents and siblings, as well as how they manage their personal health while taking on the dual role. The results of this study show that some informants are forced to take on the role of the sandwich generation due to family demands. This study shows that the sandwich generation faces a major challenge in balancing the role of caring for their parents and siblings with personal well-being. Although their responsibilities are different, good communication skills and stress management strategies, such as taking time for yourself, are both very helpful. They hope to create financial stability and a fairer division of responsibilities.

Abstract

Family communication is one of the most important aspects in creating a harmonious family environment. This research aims to find out the picture of family communication in the movie Home Sweet Loan through semiotics using Charles Sanders Peirce's theory. There are 10 scenes that represent family communication. Each scene in this movie will be decomposed into signs, objects, and interpretations that describe the complex dynamics of communication regarding the challenges faced by large families in maintaining harmony and balance in the family. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach based on Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory. Data collection techniques in this research include observation, interviews with Home Sweet Loan movie viewers, and documentation. Observations were made at the Home Sweet Loan movie, and in-depth observations were made through the Home Sweet Loan Press Conference. Based on the 10 scenes taken by the author to be observed, the findings obtained are Sign, interaction that shows the communication process established in the Kaluna family, Object a cut picture of the Kaluna family, Interpretant a picture of communication in the film about the reality of the family displayed and felt by the audience.

Abstract

Music has a significant role as a universal communication tool that is able to express feelings, ideas, emotions and reflections to its listeners. The song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" by Nadin Amizah is not only a means of entertainment but also offers a deep meaning related to introspection about self-acceptance, gratitude, and life's journey through deep metaphors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic approach, which focuses on the relationship between signifiers and signifieds to help us understand how signs work to form, change and communicate meaning in certain contexts. Data was collected from fanbase and general listener interviews as well as lyric analysis. This research aims to analyze the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" to reveal the message contained and connected to the listener's interpretation. The results of this research show that the song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" can be a universal reflection medium with a deep meaning about self-acceptance and respect for every phase of life. This research provides theoretical contributions to the study of semiotics and practical benefits for listeners in understanding the meaning of song lyrics more deeply.

Abstract

Building a positive reputation in the community is an important part of personal branding, especially for those who serve as cultural representatives, such as Jaka Rara, the cultural and tourism ambassador of Cirebon City. In an effort to preserve the culture and local wisdom of Cirebon, social media serves as a strategic platform to introduce cultural values more widely to the community. This study aims to identify the strategies employed by Jaka Rara of Cirebon in building their personal brand as cultural and tourism ambassadors for the city of Cirebon. This qualitative research involves data collection through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and observation. The results of the research, using Peter Montoya's (2002) personal branding theory, show that Jaka Rara participants have successfully built specialization by strengthening their identity as a reflection of local culture, including the use of Cirebon's distinctive ornaments and mastery of cultural material. Additionally, the aspect of unity is evident in the consistency of cultural messages conveyed through various Instagram features, such as Q&A sessions, Instagram Live, responding to followers' comments, and creating contemporary content that reinforces the dissemination of tourism and cultural education about Cirebon City. This approach reflects the success of Jaka Rara Cirebon City in conveying cultural messages authentically and integrally.

Abstract

Background. Various cases of environmental pollution, such as the disposal of natural stone found in Cirebon Regency, particularly in Dukupuntang District, result in waste from the cutting process. Business operators utilize flowing water to cool the natural stone cutting machines. Unfortunately, the waste generated is directly discharged into rivers without undergoing treatment, leading to pollution in the river flow. Aims. The objective is to understand the implementation of policies, strategies, and the factors that support and hinder them, as well as the steps taken by the government. By utilizing George C. Edward III's theory, the researcher will examine policy implementation, covering aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Methods. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, where the natural stone industry players and the surrounding community will be the subjects of observation. Result. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of environmental policies in Cirebon Regency has not yet reached an optimal level. However, several hindering factors need to be addressed, one of which is the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), which requires further processing. Conclusion. Efforts that need to be undertaken by the Department in managing natural stone waste include communicating through the media, using communication or educational methods, and conducting supervision and guidance. Implementation. Reporting on efforts already undertaken, allocating budget funds, and fostering public awareness, all of which are crucial for effectively implementing policies related to natural stone waste
