Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The increasing adoption of digital marketing in tourism has encouraged destinations to utilize social media and influencer marketing as strategic tools to attract visitors. However, previous studies have largely examined the effects of social media, influencers, and destination attractiveness separately, providing limited understanding of how these factors jointly influence tourist visitation behavior, particularly in community-based tourism destinations. Addressing this gap, this study develops an integrated framework based on Digital Marketing Theory, Source Credibility Theory, and Tourism Attraction Theory to analyze the influence of social media, influencers, and destination attractiveness on tourist visits to Tukad Bindu, Kesiman Village, Bali. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from 140 respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results reveal that social media, influencers, and destination attractiveness each have a positive and significant effect on tourist visits, while simultaneously explaining 72.4% of the variation in visitation behavior. Among these variables, destination attractiveness demonstrates the strongest influence on tourists’ decisions to visit. This study contributes to the tourism literature by integrating digital promotion factors and destination attributes into a single analytical model, thereby extending existing knowledge on tourist behavior in community-based tourism contexts. The findings also provide practical implications for destination managers to strengthen social media engagement, establish strategic collaborations with credible influencers, and continuously enhance destination attractiveness to support sustainable growth in tourist visits.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the determinants of firm value in the Indonesian property and real estate sector during the post-pandemic recovery period of 2022–2024. It specifically examines the effects of Profitability and Institutional Ownership on Firm Value, with Dividend Policy positioned as a mediating variable. Method: This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected through purposive sampling based on criteria such as continuous financial reporting, profitability, and dividend distribution, resulting in a balanced panel of eligible firms. The hypotheses were tested using path analysis. Findings: The results show that Profitability, proxied by ROA, has a significant positive effect on firm value but a significant negative effect on dividend policy, indicating that firms tend to prioritize internal financing over dividend distribution. Institutional Ownership has a significant positive effect on dividend policy but does not directly increase firm value. In addition, Dividend Policy does not mediate the relationship between Profitability and Firm Value, nor between Institutional Ownership and Firm Value. Implication: This study contributes to Signaling Theory and Agency Theory by showing that, in the Indonesian property sector, dividend payments may be interpreted as a reduction in growth capital rather than a positive market signal. Practically, the findings provide insights for investors and corporate managers in designing capital allocation and payout strategies during periods of sectoral recovery.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has led to the emergence of financial technology lending (fintech lending), including online loan services that offer convenience and accessibility. However, these conveniences often come with hidden risks, particularly for individuals with low financial literacy. This community service program was conducted in Sumerta Village, East Denpasar, Bali, aiming to increase public awareness and understanding of personal financial management and the dangers of illegal online loans. The program implemented an interactive educational approach through public seminars, direct discussions, and the use of printed and digital media such as posters and stickers. The activities successfully raised community awareness regarding how to identify legal and illegal loan platforms and how to manage personal finances more responsibly. The initiative also empowered local residents to become financial literacy advocates within their communities. Overall, this program demonstrates the importance of strengthening digital financial literacy at the grassroots level to protect communities from predatory lending practices and to build sustainable financial behavior.

Abstract

Cooperatives play an important role in supporting the people’s economy; however, most cooperative management in Bali remains conventional and has not yet fully utilized digital media. The purpose of this community service activity was to enhance the capacity of the management and members of the Kami Jaya Sejahtera Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP), Denpasar, in utilizing digital media. The method used in this activity involved digital literacy training and hands-on practice in creating promotional content using simple applications. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and skills, from an average of 15% on the pre-test to 85% on the post-test, with an average improvement of 83%. Participants were able to understand the benefits of social media for promotion, create educational content, and independently operate financial-recording applications. In addition to producing promotional content and a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the cooperative’s social media management, this activity also encouraged the implementation of more transparent and accountable digital financial record-keeping.
