Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of investment literacy and perspectives on investment on the ability to manage investments, both partially and simultaneously. Suggestions used in this study are associative. The population in this study were all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Regression, Hypothesis Test (t Test and F Test), and the Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study uses SPSS software version 23.00. The results of the study prove the fact that partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on investment literacy and perspective on investment on the ability to manage investment.

Abstract

Tenaga kerja memiliki peran dalam penentuan mutu dan kualitas buah. Adanya kesalahan dalam proses panen akan berdampak pada kualitas panen dan secara langsung mempengaruhi produksi kebun. Maka untuk meminimalkan resiko rendahnya kualitas panen maka dibutuhkan peningkatan kapasitas pemanen dengan pelatihan dan konsultasi tentang seluruh aktivitas panen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memenuhi target perusahaan mencapai kualitas dan kuantitas terbaik produksi kebun, dengan memberikan pelatihan pemanen agar terpenuhi standar panen menghasilkan buah berkualitas. Selain itu dilakukan konsultasi langsung dengan pemanen tentang berbagai kendala dan permasalahan yang dihadapi di kebun sehingga bisa diberikan langsung solusi untuk mengatasinya. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen ITSI bersama praktisi perkebunan di PTPN III Sei Dadap Asahan, didampingi oleh tenaga kependidikan ITSI. ITSI juga bekerja sama dengan Balai Besar Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas (BBPVP) Kemenaker RI, Disnaker Kabupaten Asahan, pelaksanaan mulai dari tanggal 10-28 Oktober 2022. Hasil pengabdian ini ditemukan bahwa pemanen tidak memahami hingga sulit memenuhi standar proses panen karena fokus pada target basis borong yang dimiliki hingga premi yang dikejar sehingga tidak menjaga kualitas buah. Melalui proses pengabdian pemanen langsung turun praktek di lapangan melihat dan melakukan proses panen yang sesuai dengan standar panen untuk menghasilkan mutu dan kualitas buah yang baik.

Abstract

This research aims to know and analyze the influence of Net Profit Margin on the Share Price, to know and to know and analyze the influence of Return On Equity on the Share Price and to know and analyze the influence of Net Profit Margin and Return On Equity on the share price of Coal Mining Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research approach uses a quantitative approach. The object of this research is the Coal Mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) D from 2016 to 2019 which generates profit everys. The population used is 22 Coal Mining companies registered with IDX, the method of determining the number of samples used in this study is purposive sampling and selected as a sample of 8 companies. The results of this study show that partially Net Profit Margin has a negative and insignificant effect on the Share Price, and Return On Equity partially affects the Share Price. Simultaneously Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets, and Return On Equity affect the Share Price.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of occupational safety health program (K3) and work environment on employee commitment to PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). The population in this study is all employees at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) numbered 925 people. Determining the number of samples taken as respondents using slovin formula, the sample in this study was 87 employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). The data collection techniques in this study are quesioner list, interview and documentation studies. While the data analysis techniques used are classic assumption test, multiple regression, t test, and F test and determinant coefficient. The K3 program significantly affects the employee commitment of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan, which is indicated by a significant yield of 4,962 (sig 0,000) whereas significantly t is smaller than a. = 0.05). The work environment significantly affects the employee commitment of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan, which is indicated by a significant yield of 2,335 (sig 0.022), whereas significantly t is smaller than a. = 0.05. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach. The data used in this study use primary data that researchers obtained from 500 MDP Store employees spread throughout Indonesia obtained by means of an online questionnaire and sent via the respondents' WhatsApp accounts. The questionnaire contains 5 statements, namely strongly agree statements, agree statements, normal/so-so statements, disagree statements, and strongly disagree statements on the 10 questionnaires submitted. The data were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that each hypothesis used in this article can be accepted and proven, namely that the Job Saturation variable can affect Employee Performance and the Workload variable can strengthen the influence of the Job Satisfaction variable on Employee Performance. Based on the results of the third table of the Path Coefficient above, it shows that the Burn Out variable can have an influence on Employee Performance, but it is negative because the T-Statistic value is above 1,960 but negative, namely -6,782 and the P-Values are below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.036. From these results, it can be concluded that the more bored employees are at work, the more employee performance will decrease or erode.. In addition, in the next row, the Workload variable can strengthen the influence of Job Saturation on Employee Performance in a negative direction because the T-Statistic value is above 1.960, which is -10.232 and the P-Values are below the significance level of 0.05, which is 0.000. This means that the more Employee Workload can make employees more bored in working so that Employee Performance can decrease. Thus, the first and second hypotheses in this article can be accepted. Abstract

This long-standing lack of attention to and knowledge of virtuous character may explain why many leaders attempt to get ahead by making mistakes and why virtuous character traits often do not play a significant role in the training and evaluation of leaders. A possible reason for the lack of studies on the virtuous character of a leader is the lack of clarity of definition; Moreover, some scholars consider Virtue as well as good character to be too abstract and general to measure. This research aims to overcome the lack of research on the role of a leader's virtuous leadership on employee welfare. This research also adds the moderating variable trust in virtuous leaders. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data collection techniques were carried out using surveys. The research population consisted of 200 employees spread across Indonesia. And the analysis technique uses Smart PLS. The results of this research have found that virtuous leadership influences employee welfare, and trust as moderation is able to moderate virtuous leadership on employee welfare.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the impact of human resource management (HRM) on the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations. This research employs a literature review methodology, encompassing the examination of a multitude of pertinent academic sources, journals, and articles. The findings of this study indicate that effective human resource management, as evidenced by recruitment practices, training, employee development, and performance evaluation, can markedly enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness. Moreover, factors such as job satisfaction, motivation, and organizational culture also exert a significant influence on the attainment of organizational objectives. Consequently, strategic human resource management represents a pivotal determinant of organizational success in the context of global competition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kebun Gunung Bayu PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV yang berlangsung pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya pemanenan yang dikeluarkan untuk harga dasar TBS di perkebunan Gunung Bayu dengan membandingkan harga dasar TBS tertinggi dan terendah dengan satuan Rp/kg dan untuk mengetahui besarnya biaya yang dikeluarkan dari hasil perbandingan rata-rata harga TBS. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data sekunder dengan metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan membandingkan harga pokok TBS tertinggi dengan harga pokok TBS terendah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis biaya pemanenan TBS unit kebun Gunung Bayu sebesar Rp. 1.437/kg. Dengan harga TBS tertinggi terdapat pada seksi VII sebesar Rp. 183/kg dan terendah pada divisi V sebesar Rp. 125/kg. Selisih harga TBS dari divisi VII ke divisi V dengan rata-rata sebesar Rp. 62/kg. Jadi rata-rata biaya TBS yang dikeluarkan adalah Rp. 34.358.435

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat desa dalam penerapan teknologi pengolahan buah salak menjadi sirup cair yang hasilnya dapat dikemas dengan baik sehingga memiliki daya saing di pasar. Tim pengabdian memberikan Solusi dengan mendesain dan membuat luaran dalam bentuk teknologi tepat guna ‘Mesin FLASER” yang bisa membantu mitra dan petani salak membuat produk olahan sirup dari buah salak. Mitra pengabdian ini adalah Pemuda Tani Cabang Kota Padang Sidimpuan. Hasil pengabdian ini memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani salak Bersama pemuda tani untuk mengolah buah salak menjadi sirup dengan komposisi bahan baku dan bahan tambahan yang ideal menggunakan mesin FLASER. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilakukan, terdapat perbedaan rata – rata secara sginifikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pelatuhan Flaser dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 12,093. Artinya terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan Flaser sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pendampingan. Skor mean pre-test peserta pelatihan sebesar 41,68 dan setelah diberi materi pelatihan Flaser skor mean post-test meningkat menjadi 75,6 sehingga peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan sebesar 81,38%. Berdasarkan survey kepuasan peserta PKM didapatkan bahwa nilai capaian rata - rata peserta sebesar 92%. Peserta mengakui bahwa seluruh materi yang disampaikan oleh tim dosen bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, dan mereka mendukung apabila kegiatan pelatihan teknis ini ditindaklanjuti dengan bimbingan teknis secara berkala. Implementation of Flavored Liquid Syrup Maker (FLASER) as an Effort to Utilize Salak Fruit into Flavored Liquid Syrup in Padangsidimpuan Utara District Abstract This service aims to empower village communities in the application of salak fruit processing technology into liquid syrup whose results can be packaged properly so that they have competitiveness in the market. The service team provides solutions by designing and making outputs in the form of appropriate technology “FLASER Machine” which can help partners and salak farmers make processed syrup products from salak fruit. This service partner is the Youth Tani Branch of Padang Sidimpuan City. The results of this service provide an increase in knowledge and skills of salak farmers together with farmer youth to process salak fruit into syrup with the ideal composition of raw materials and additives using the FLASER machine. Based on the activities carried out, there is a significant average difference before and after the Flaser training with a t value of 12,093. This means that there is an increase in the understanding of participants after attending Flaser training before and after assistance. The mean score of the pre-test of the trainees was 41.68 and after being given the Flaser training material, the mean score of the post-test increased to 75.6, so the increase before and after training was 81.38%. Based on the satisfaction survey of PKM participants, it was found that the average achievement value of participants was 92%. Participants recognized that all the material presented by the lecturer team was useful for the community, and they supported if this technical training activity was followed up with regular technical guidance.
