Abstract

The CT Scan is the most significant contributor to radiation dose on radiological examination, although the frequency of the examination is far below other modalities. In order to control this radiation dose, manufactures of CT Scan have equipped their units with built-in software called Automatic Exposure Control (AEC). This study aims to analyze the effect of AEC software, CARE Dose 4D, on image quality, and CTDIvol. Objects used in this study were three water phantoms, each with a diameter of 165 mm, 230 mm, and 305 mm. The image quality-analyzed was CT Number and noise. Measurement of image quality was carried out following Bapeten's provisions. Noise Power Spectrum (NPS) graphics were also used to further observes noise texture. The CT Number accuracy, CT Number, and noise uniformity obtained with and without CARE Dose 4D, on the three phantoms were still within Bapeten's threshold. This indicates that the use of CARE Dose 4D can still image a homogeneous object accurately. The results of the NPS curve showed that the two modes, in three phantoms, were having the same noise texture. The NPS curves also showed that the use of CARE Dose 4D produces higher noise than the non-CARE Dose 4D mode. Meanwhile, there were significant differences from the CTDIvol obtained from the two modes. The use of CARE Dose 4D software reduced dose of up to 54.34%. From this, the use of CARE Dose 4D software can reduce the radiation dose while maintaining image quality.

Abstract

One of the objectives of implementing the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is to show how to master the essential competencies needed in various subjects. At the same time, digital formats must be integrated at every level of education, including the assessment process. Responding to the latest regulations regarding assessment and advances in digital technology requires teachers to have a combination of content and support skills. This study aims to develop an integrated media and environment for in-service teachers to improve their skills in creating AKM tests. The resulting test is designed according to variations in Moodle-based e-learning. This platform was chosen because many schools use Moodle as a Learning Management System (LMS). The study was conducted using the research and development method of the Thiagarajan 4D model, with the steps of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The development results include products, skills improvement, and a portfolio of user implementation results. Abstrak Tujuan diberlakukannya Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) salah satunya adalah untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana penguasaaan kompetensi mendasar yang diperlukan pada berbagai mata pelajaran. Di saat yang bersamaan, format digital sudah harus menjadi hal yang terintegrasi pada setiap level penyelenggaraan pendidikan, termasuk di dalamnya proses asesmen. Menyikapi peraturan terbaru mengenai asesmen dan kemajuan teknologi digital, mengharuskan guru memiliki keterampilan yang merupakan kombinasi antara konten dan pendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media dan lingkungan yang terintegrasi bagi guru aktif agar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pembuatan tes AKM. Tes yang dihasilkan didesain sesuai dengan variasi pada e-learning berbasis Moodle. Platform ini dipilih karena banyak sekolah yang mennggunakan Moodle sebagai Learning Management System (LMS). Studi dilakukan dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model 4D Thiagarajan, dengan langkah-langkah define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil dari pengembangan berupa produk, peningkatan keterampilan, dan portofolio hasil implementasi pengguna.

Abstract

Around 20% of the total population in Indonesia are digital comic readers and this number continues to increase from year to year. This increase has been accompanied by a rise in the number of digital comics on various platforms such as Webtoon, Mangatoon, Bilibili Comics, Manta,Tapas, RE:ON comics, Komikindo v7 and many more. On the other hand, the complexity of the teaching materials being delivered made students less interested in reading textbooks, including physics. Therefore, students are more engaged when the content is presented in the form of illustrated comics, especially in visualizing abstract concepts. This study aims to produce digital physics comics about the greenhouse effect, which can enchance students' literacy and motivation. It’s well known that global warmingis a global issue that demands a broader understanding and is important to be recognized by the public including students, where one of the causes is the greenhouse effect. This comic seeks to support physics learning media. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) approach with a 4D method. The development stages consist of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. This physics digital comic explains the process of the greenhouse effect. This research shows that digital comics that have been developed have successfully become physics learning media that can increase students' literacy and motivation to learn about global warming and climate change.

Abstract

The intensity of social media use by students is currently very high. TikTok social media is one of the social media that is often used because the videos that are presented are short and up to date. The purpose of this research is to develop physics learning videos on the TikTok platform with an introduction to physics concepts and cases in everyday life. This study uses the 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The stages of the 4D method applied to this study are by analyzing needs and planning the concepts and content of video content. The product developed is in the form of a learning video on special relativity material and distributed via the social media TikTok. Media and material assessment instruments to measure validity by media experts and material experts. From the results of this study, show that learning videos on social media Tiktok is feasible to be implemented as a medium for learning physics in class 12 high school on special relativity material.

Abstract

Practicum is a component of physics learning which is important in increasing the literacy of students in high school. This article describes the results of research and development of students physics worksheets with problem-solving stages equipped with AR (Augmented Reality) media. The research method used is a research and development method with the Dick and Carey approach. The resulting Physics Student worksheet is presented with stages to train students' problem solving skills. Activity components in Student Worksheet: short theory, videos with the help of AR (Augmented Reality) technology, practicum data, tables, graphs, graphic interpretation, analysis of practicum concepts for each topic presented in the practicum. The stages of problem solving in Student Worksheet: (a) describe an initial problem and a brief theory; (b) ask questions related to the problems given earlier; (c) describes the analysis of practicum data, and (d) explains the analysis of the physics concept of the practicum results. The results of this study have been validated by Student Worksheet media experts, physics concept material experts, and learning experts. To fulfill all aspects, it can be shown that a proper Student Worksheet is used to train the problem solving skills of high school students.

Abstract

Introducing the concept of renewable energy to elementary school students is very important, one of which is to enhance their learning motivation. In enhancing learning motivation, it is necessary to have enjoyable, interactive, and easy-to-use learning media so that elementary school students feel happy while studying a subject. In this study, we present a novel approach to teaching elementary school students about hydro-electric power stations through the development of an android-based game. The game is designed to gamify the learning process, engaging students in an interactive and immersive experience that facilitates understanding of complex concepts related to hydro-electric power generation. Our focus lies in elucidating the manufacturing, construction, operational procedures, and supplementary information pertinent to hydro-electric power stations within a format accessible to elementary students. By harnessing the capabilities of Unity 3D software and incorporating assets from Obi Fluid, we have crafted an engaging and educational gaming application tailored to the unique learning needs of young learners. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on educational game design and underscores the potential of gamified approaches in enhancing STEM education at the elementary level. Furthermore, it lays the groundwork for future studies exploring the effectiveness of similar interventions in diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Abstract The integration of e-learning in the educational sector plays a pivotal role in enhancing learning effectiveness, particularly in the subject of static fluids. This study aims to create a blended learning-based e-learning design to help students better understand static fluid concepts. The research utilizes a research and development approach following the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) and incorporates Moodle's activity analytics feature to monitor student engagement and learning progress. The developed design includes key elements such as interactive learning materials, collaborative activities through discussion forums, quizzes for assessment, and the use of activity analytics to track progress. This approach is expected to support the development of more adaptive features to accommodate students' individual learning needs. Abstrak Integrasi e-learning dalam dunia pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, terutama pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang e-learning berbasis blended learning guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep fluida statis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan berbasis model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation) dengan memanfaatkan fitur activity analytics bawaan Moodle untuk memantau aktivitas dan kemajuan belajar siswa. Desain yang dikembangkan mencakup komponen utama seperti materi pembelajaran interaktif, aktivitas kolaboratif melalui forum diskusi, kuis untuk evaluasi, serta pemanfaatan fitur activity analytics dalam memantau progres belajar. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong pengembangan fitur yang lebih adaptif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar individu siswa.

Abstract

Abstract Teachers in early childhood education have a central role in developing children’s intellectual, social and emotional skills through various activities. Early introduction of technology can improve literacy, social, math, and problem-solving skills. Programming ability is a key competency in the technological era. Problem-solving skills are also important in learning programming. To improve students’ skills and knowledge, robotics training is carried out so that it is hoped that students can produce simple tracks according to their understanding. Abstrak Guru dalam pendidikan usia dini memiliki peran sentral dalam mengembangkan keterampilan intelektual, sosial, dan emosional anak melalui berbagai aktivitas. Pengenalan teknologi sejak dini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan literasi, sosial, matematika, dan pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan pemrograman menjadi kompetensi kunci di era teknologi. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah juga penting dalam pembelajaran pemrograman. Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta didik maka dilaksanakan pelatihan robotik sehingga diharapkan peserta didik dapat menghasilkan track sederhana sesuai dengan pemahaman mereka.

Abstract

This training emphasizes the implementation of the Project Based Learning model and Wiggle Bot as learning tools to enhance teacher engagement as training participants with knowledge about the STEM approach in modern education. In this training session, the teachers worked in groups to design and create a Wiggle Bot, which will then be integrated into the curriculum. After successfully making the Wiggle Bot, the teachers identified the STEM components present in it. This aims to enable teachers to create various STEM projects that align with the learning and concepts of the material taught in class, thereby capturing the students' attention and indirectly engaging them actively in classroom learning. The active involvement of teachers as participants indicates positive feedback from this training. This training not only enhances teachers' skills but also deepens their understanding of STEM concepts and approaches.

Abstract

Posyandu is a prominent instance of Community-Based Health Initiatives (UKBM) inside the community. The efficacy and quality of Posyandu are contingent upon the function of the cadres. The cadre's responsibility is to manually manage and document child development data via KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat). An electronic KMS, entitled Smart KMS, has been established using Community Service activities integrated Community Service Program(PKM-KKN) to offer data on toddler growth and development. Smart KMS offers monthly statistics on child growth, including graphs depicting child weight relative to age, child height relative to age, and child nutritional status based on weight and height. Access to Smart KMS is facilitated through two account types: admin accounts and toddler parent accounts. Smart KMS has been deployed at Posyandu Kemala Ciracas and is utilized by 63 toddlers. The findings of a service survey conducted with cadre respondents at Posyandu Kemala Ciracas indicate that Smart KMS is seen as highly effective in terms of usability, accessibility, advantages, and its role in toddler data gathering (value 93%). Posyandu cadres evaluated that the conducted activities positively influenced the enhancement of their skills and knowledge, the accessibility of facilities at Posyandu, and the advantages for Posyandu itself (value 92%). Therefore a necessity for ongoing initiatives and further support..   Abstrak Posyandu merupakan salah satu bentuk Upaya Kesehatan Bersumber Daya Masyarakat (UKBM) yang paling dikenal di masyarakat. Kualitas dan efektifitas Posyandu bergantung pada peran kader. Tugas kader adalah mengelola dan mencatat data perkembangan anak secara manual menggunakan KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat). Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat terintegrasi Kuliah Kerja Nyata (PKM-KKN) telah dilakukan pengembangan KMS elektronik dengan nama Smart KMS yang menyediakan data tumbuh kembang balita. Pada Smart KMS tersedia data perkembangan anak setiap bulan, grafik berat badan anak berdasarkan umur, grafik tinggi badan anak berdasarkan umur, dan grafik status gizi anak berdasarkan berat dan tinggi badan. Terdapat dua jenis akun yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses Smart KMS yaitu akun admin dan akun orang tua balita. Smart KMS telah diimplementasikan di Posyandu Kemala Ciracas dan digunakan oleh 63 balita. Dari hasil survey layanan dengan responden kader di Posyandu Kemala Ciracas, menunjukkan bahwa Smart KMS dinilai sangat baik dalam memberikan kemudahan penggunaan, aksesibilitas, manfaat, serta kontribusinya dalam pendataan balita (nilai 93%). Kader Posyandu juga menilai bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan keterampilan dan wawasan kader, ketersediaan fasilitas di Posyandu, serta manfaat bagi Posyandu itu sendiri (nilai 92%). Sehingga perlunya keberlanjutan kegiatan dan pendampingan lebih lanjut.
