Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine (1) the legal basis of the pre-employment program (2) to determine the effectiveness of the pre-employment program in Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The types and sources of data used in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained from the study were collected and processed by qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) The legal aspects of the Pre-Employment Card program are regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 76 of 2020 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation No. 36 of 2020 concerning Development of Work Competencies through the Employment Card Program and Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Employment ( 2). The effectiveness of the pre-employment program card in terms of its implementation has not been effective due to the lack of mastery of technology in registering most of the participants of the pre-employment program are parents. Supervision of the pre-employment program is still not clear at the district level who is responsible for carrying out the supervision due to the lack of coordination between the central and regional parties in coordinating the recipients of the pre-employment program.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine (1) To find out the strategies developed by a teacher in integrating sex education in Civics lessons. (2) To find out how the factors supporting and inhibiting sex education in Civics learning. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive research. Sources of data obtained from schools and from informants consisting of teachers and students of SMP Negeri 4 Sape, Bima Regency. The data collection procedures used were observation, interviews, and documentation. And the data analysis techniques used consisted of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The data obtained from the results of this study were processed using triangulation. The results of this study conclude (1) The teacher's strategy in integrating sex education in Civics learning is quite maximal, because seen from the essence and content of the material it has interrelation and interdependence relationships. And seen from the formation of cooperation between teachers, providing easy-to-understand material, as well as evaluating the performance of the work so that the results of teaching and learning activities of students are further improved in accordance with the moral values that are planted with a sexual approach and gender equality in Civics lessons compared to previously. (2) The factors that influence the integration of sex education in Civics lessons are divided into two, namely, inhibiting factors and supporting factors. As for the inhibiting factors, namely the difficulty of a teacher in adjusting the material, lack of enthusiasm and participation of students, an unclear curriculum on sex education, and the rapid development of technology that makes students easy to access sexual information so as to provide a negative perspective on sexual education so that paradoxical impression with what is conveyed by the teacher. The efforts to overcome these obstacles are: Teachers must be able to develop a Lesson Plan (RPP), learning objectivesand the benefits of learning in sex education. Because if the components are implemented properly and directed then what is the orientation of sex education will be implemented. While the supporting factors are: The existence of good support and cooperation between policy makers such as the government, school principals, professional educators in their fields, as well as making a sex education curriculum adapted to the values of Pancasila so that students are not trapped in negative things, as well as the facilities and adequate infrastructure to support students' teaching and learning activities.Keywords: Learning Orientation, Sex Education Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Untuk mengetahui strategi yang dikembangkan seorang guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan seks pada pelajaran PPKn. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana  faktor pendukung dan penghambat pendidikan seks pada pembelajaran PPKn. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari sekolah dan dari informan yang terdiri dari guru serta peserta didik SMP Negeri 4 Sape, Kabupaten Bima. Adapun prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Serta teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1) Strategi guru dalam mengintegrasikan pendidikan seks pada pembelajaran PPKn sudah cukup maksimal, karena dilihat dari esensi dan muatan materinya memiliki hubungan interelasi dan interdependesi. Dan dilihat dari pembentukan kerjasama antara guru, pemberian materi yang mudah dipahami, serta melakukan evaluasi kinerja terhadap hasil kerja sehingga hasil kegiatan belajar-mengajar peserta didik lebih meningkat sesuai dengan nilai-nilai moral yang ditanam dengan pendekatan seksual dan kesetaraan jender dalam pelajaran PPKn dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya. (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terintegrasinya pendidikan seks pada pelajaran PPKn dibagi menjadi dua yaitu, faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung. Adapun yang menjadi faktor penghambat yaitu kesulitan seorang guru dalam menyesuaikan materi, antusias dan partisipasi peserta didik yang kurang, kurikulum yang belum jelas tentang pendidikan seks, serta berkembang pesatnya teknologi yang membuat peserta didik mudah mengakses informasi seksual sehingga memberikan cara pandang negatif terhadap pendidikan seksual sehingga berkesan paradoks dengan apa yang disampaikan oleh guru. Adapun upaya dalam mengatasi kendala tersebut yaitu: Guru harus mampu menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), tujuan pembelajaran serta manfaat pembelajaran dalam pendidikan seks. Karena jika komponen itu dilaksanakan dengan baik dan terarah maka apa yang menjadi orientasi pendidikan seks akan terlaksana. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor pendukungnya yaitu: Adanya dukungan dan kerjasama yang baik antara pemangku kebijakan seperti pemerintah, kepala sekolah, pendidik profesional dibidangnya, serta pembuatan kurikulum pendidikan seks disesuaikan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila sehingga peserta didik tidak terjebak pada hal negatif, serta adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Orientasi Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Seks

Abstract

Abstrak. Kasus kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh generasi muda tersinyalir telah meresahkan masyarakat, semisal kasus pencurian, kasus asusila seperti free sex, pemerkosaan, perampokan disertai kekerasan, bahkan pembunuhan. Kasus-kasus yang tergolong berat tersebut dilakukan oleh generasi muda tidak hanya terbatas pada latar belakang ekonomi maupun kultur lingkungan, namun juga banyak dipengaruhi oleh obat-obatan terlarang yang membuat generasi muda manjadi hilang akal dan terbilang nekat untuk melakukan tindak kejahatan. Hal tersebut juga tidak hanya menjadi perhatian dikota-kota besar, namun juga di beberapa kabupaten yang ada di wilayah Sulawesi Selatan, salah satu diantaranya adalah Kabupaten Takalar. Wilayah Kecamatan Mangarabombang menjadi perhatian khusus karena berbatasan dengan Kabupetn Jenneponto dan menjadi Kecamatan dengan wilayah pariwisata yang terbesar di Kabupaten Takalar, yang banyak memiliki Populasi anak dan remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penerapan pengabdian ini adalah observasi, testing, penyuluhan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegaiatan penyuluhan dalam rangka pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, maka dapat dambil kesimpulan bahwa kegiatan ini dianggap sukses dan berhasil. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan baik karena adanya kerjasama yang baik antara Pemkab Takalar khususnya camat Mangarabombang dan seluruh jajarannya. Serta dukungan dari Universitas Negeri Makassar sehingga kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan jadwal dan seuai dengan yang diharapkan. Berhasilnya kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari antusiasme masyarakat dan aparat setempat dan menjadi indikator keberhasilan yang dihitung sebagai faktor pendukung. Kata Kunci: Narkotika, Psikotropika, Kejahtan Anak

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1). Stages of Implementation of Minimum Competency Assessment at SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto (2) Obstacles encountered in the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment at SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using a descriptive type of research with data sources from school principals, teachers, and students (AKM participants). The data collection procedures used are observation (observation), interviews and documentation. The stages of research carried out are planning, implementation and writing stages of research results for drawing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that (1) The stages of implementing the Minimum Competency Assessment at SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto are the preparation stage such as facilities (computer units, internet/wifi access, AKM guide books), holding workshops (training) for teachers, procurement proctor, conduct simulations and guidance for AKM participants. At the stage of the implementation process, there is supervision. As well as the evaluation and follow-up stages by getting used to reading before the lesson starts in order to improve students' reading literacy. (2) The obstacles faced in implementing the Minimum Competency Assessment at SMA Negeri 5 Jeneponto are the lack of teacher understanding, inadequate internet access, not all AKM participants can operate a computer, as well as the lack of interest of students in reading questions. As for the efforts made, namely, providing workshops (training) for teachers, dividing the implementation sessions for AKM participants, conducting simulations and supervision, and providing guidance or tutoring.

Abstract

Abstract. Since the first Covid-19 case was reported in March of 2020, the development of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic in Indonesia has experienced active cases with the death rate graph dynamically increasing. Various efforts were continuously made within the Indonesian legal system, including how to protect the people who become victims of social stigma and discrimination in line with diagnosed and misdiagnosed Covid-19 sufferers. Covid-19 sufferers used to be burdened with humiliation, outcast, and disrespect occurred within the family or local community making them victims for restorative application. As stigma and discrimination had victimized into psychological effects and social conditions, McCold’s suggestion of restorative application known as the Primary Stakeholder, explains losses recovery. Using the theory, Indonesian Legal System has responded, however limited to cases of minor crimes, women dealing with law, children, and narcotics.   Keywords: Covid-19; Indonesia; McCold; Restorative justice; victims

Abstract

This study aims to analyse freedom of opinion in relation to the utterances of hatred by students of Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research uses descriptive qualitative method which is done by observing the subject and object of research based on the facts. The results of the study show that the opinions of students regarding freedom of opinion which are limited by the Hate Speech law are positive because generally students already know the Law regarding freedom of opinion and the Law on Hate Speech so that in their opinion be careful.

Abstract

This research explores the role of international human rights norms in combating discrimination and promoting equality in Indonesia. This paper examines the influence of international human rights norms on legal and policy reform, the implementation of these norms in addressing discrimination, and their overall effectiveness in the Indonesian context. Its theoretical framework includes an intersectionality approach to discrimination and recognizes the social construction of discriminatory practices. The study used a mixed methods approach, including literature review, legal framework analysis, and case studies, to provide a comprehensive analysis. Its findings show significant alignment between international human rights norms and Indonesia's legal framework. However, there are still challenges in its implementation due to limited awareness, cultural barriers, weak institutional capacity, and regional variations. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of raising awareness, overcoming cultural barriers, and strengthening institutional capacity to strengthen the role of international human rights norms in combating discrimination and promoting equality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic character education plays a vital role in mitigating bullying behavior within boarding schools by fostering student behavior characterized by politeness, tolerance, and respect for differences. This study aims to analyze the significance of Islamic character education in proactively addressing bullying behavior in boarding schools through a literature review methodology. Employing a qualitative approach, the research utilizes a literature review analysis technique to gather data from various sources, including books, journal articles, and research findings related to Islamic character education and bullying in schools. The collected data is analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings of the study indicate a pronounced urgency for implementing Islamic character education in anticipation of bullying behavior in boarding schools. Islamic character education not only shapes students' behavior to be polite, tolerant, and respectful of differences but also enhances their empathy, concern, and courage to combat bullying. Consequently, boarding schools should reinforce Islamic character education within their curriculum and integrate it into daily school activities. In conclusion, this study underscores the paramount importance of Islamic character education in preventing bullying behavior in boarding schools. Hence, it is imperative that Islamic character education becomes an integral component of the educational curriculum in boarding schools, fostering positive student behavior and reducing instances of bullying.

Abstract

Millions of stateless statuses existed around the world, half of them are scattered in Asia expanding across several regions. The status and situation of the Indonesian stateless are so complex and to construe this situation causing the government to strengthen policies in protecting their rights is questioned. The purpose of this article is to observe how effective the implementation of Indonesian policies in protecting Indonesian stateless children who currently spread in several regions of Malaysia. The research was conducted in qualitative method approach on several legal and human rights provision added with field interviews, data collections and observations. As the issue is considered essentially for both Malaysian and Indonesia Governments and conditions surrounding the topic have complex multifaceted problems, struggles of law and political effort in line with economy and social hindrances that continually hinge around should be enforced. The result shows that more implications on the protection of rights for stateless children need to be persistently strengthened by using existing various conventions and governmental regulations. Also, social economic and political conditions in Indonesia and Malaysia are different making soluble alternative that fit countries needs is not tranquil to have.
