Abstract

This community service activity is to develop E-Modules for Educational Psychology courses targeting students of the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Department, Faculty of Education, Makassar State University as participants. There are 105 PGPAUD FIP UNM batch 2021 students who are divided into three classes as participants in the E-Module practical test activities. The purpose of this service activity is to develop innovative and creative teaching materials using case method and Project Based Learning models. This service is carried out by first making a module using the Canva application, then converting it into an E-Module using the flip book application. The preparation of E-Modules is carried out through several activities, such as compiling lecture materials, conducting Forum Group Discussions (FGDs) with lecturers and kindergarten teachers. After completion, the E-Module is socialized to students so that it can be accessed effectively on the website of the PGPAUD Department FIP UNM Then the practicality test of the E-Module was carried out on 105 PGPAUD FIP UNM Batch 2021 students. The results of the E-Module practicality trial showed that in the aspect of the Physical form or E-Module Design with a percentage of 72% of students who rated very good, 26% rated good. In the aspect of E-Module material/content, 81% of students rated it very good, 19% of students rated it good. In the aspect of being economically accessible, 76% of students rated it very good, 23% rated it good, 1% was not good. In the aspect of ease of access related to usage time, 61% of students rated very good, and 35% of students rated good, 3% rated not good, and 1% rated very bad. The results of this service are making students have teaching materials in the form of E-Modules that are innovative, attractive and very accessible.

Abstract

The community service activity carried out is training to build effective communication between parents and children in the digital era. This service targets parents of early childhood at TK Negeri Pembina Makassar. There were 17 parents who participated in the training activities to build effective communication between parents and children in the digital era. The purpose of this service activity is to develop the ability of parents of early childhood at TK Negeri Pembina Makassar to develop effective communication with early childhood in the digital era. This service wants to increase the knowledge of parents of early childhood in building effective communication with their children in the digital era. The location of this service was carried out in the hall of TK Negeri Pembina Makassar. This activity involves cooperation with related parties. The implementation method used in this service is the lecture and discussion method on 17 parents of early childhood as participants in this activity. The results of this service activity were measured using a questionnaire that was directly distributed to parents and filled in after attending the training. The results of the service showed an increase in parents' knowledge of the characteristics of children in the digital era by 94%, an increase in parents' knowledge of appropriate parenting in the digital era by 82%, and also an increase in parents' knowledge on strategies for building effective communication with early childhood in the digital era by 88%.

Abstract

Kasus perundungan yang marak terjadi di masyarakat merupakan masalah serius, sehingga membuat kalangan pendidik merasa resah dan prihatin. Pengabdi melakukan upaya preventif agar perundungan tidak terjadi dalam pada Anak Usia Dini dengan melaksanakan kegiatan Psikoedukasi bagi guru dan orang tua untuk mencegah bullying. Program pengabdian yang dilaksanakan berupa Psikoedukasi antiguru dan orang tua dalam mencegah bullying pada anak dilaksanakan di TK Nurul Fadhilah, Kabupaten Gowa. Peserta psioedukasi berjumlah 32, yang terdiri dari 6 guru dan 26 orang tua di TK TK Nurul Fadhilah, Kabupaten Gowa. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membuat Peserta mengetahui tentang bahaya perundungan, cara mencegah, dan juga sebagai upaya menggalakkan gerakan anti-perundungan di lingkungan Anak Usia Dini. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode presentasi, ceramah, dan diskusi. Analisis tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan psikoedukasi ini adalah melalui pengukuran tingkat pemahaman peserta terkait materi pada saat psikoedukasi berlangsung. Tim pengabdi melakukan pengukuran pre-test dan post-test kepada peserta untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah diberikan materi psikoedukasi sinergi guru dan orang tua dalam mencegah bullying pada anak. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon dengan bantuan SPSS yang hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa data Asymp (2-tailed) = 0,001 < 0.05, artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pemahaman peserta sebelum dan setelah diberikan Psikoedukasi. Kondisi akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan Psioedukasi ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat memahami sinergitas antara guru dan orang tua dalam mencegah bullying pada anak usia dini di TK Nurul Fadhilah. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat juga dari tingginya partisipasi dan motivasi serta kedisiplinan peserta selama kegiatan psikoedukasi berlangsung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kartu kata bergambar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca awal di TKIT Nurul Fikri Makassar. Jenis pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 peserta didik dengan 6 peserta didik sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 6 peserta didik sebagai kelompok kontrol. Tehnik pengumpulan data pada penlitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan membaca awal anak diberi perlakuan media kartu kata bergambar pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data nilai rata-rata pada kelompok eksperimen 30.450 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol 14,3333. Hasil pengujian nilai sig. 0,028 (2-tailed) HO ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu kata bergambar dapat memberikan pengaruh pada kemampuan membaca awal anak usia 5-6 tahun di tkit nurul fikri Makassar.

Abstract

Seminar parenting pola asuh Montessori memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam kepada orang tua dan guru tentang pentingnya pendekatan pengasuhan yang mendukung kemandirian dan perkembangan anak. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab kebutuhan dan tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua dan guru dalam mendampingi anak. Jumlah peserta pada kegiatan seminar ini adalah 25 orang yang terdiri dari guru dan orangtua. Kegiatan ini dirancang melalui tiga tahapan utama: wawancara untuk menggali kebutuhan peserta, penyampaian materi secara interaktif, dan evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar Montessori, seperti kebebasan dalam batas, penghargaan terhadap individualitas anak, dan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung eksplorasi aktif serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengasuhan anak usia dini melalui pendekatan Montessori. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media kotak alfabet terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf pada kelompok B di TK Al-Amin Mardi Lestari. Pendekatan yang digunakan dengan cara kuantitatif, dengan jenis Quasi Eksperimental Design. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 8 subjek untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 8 subjek untuk kelompok kontrol pada anak-anak kelompok B sebanyak 16 anak terdiri 6 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni melalui analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik non-parametrik dengan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Dari hasil pengkajian yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak dalam kelompok eksperimen yang sudah diberi perlakuan menggunakan media kotak alfabet mengalami peningkatan yang tergolong tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok pembanding. Hasil analisis datadiperoleh peningkatan rata-rata pada kelompok eksperimen 17,26, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol. Hasil pengkajian pada kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan nilai Asymp Sig. (2-tailed), 0,011 < 0,05 maka hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh media kotak alfabet terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf pada kelompok B di TK AL-Amin Mardi Lestari.

Abstract

Vocabulary acquisition in early childhood is a fundamental aspect of language and communication development. However, current conditions indicate that children's vocabulary growth remains suboptimal, particularly in verb usage, adjectives, and descriptive words. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in enhancing vocabulary mastery among early childhood learners. The research employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 15 early childhood learners selected through purposive sampling based on low vocabulary mastery criteria. Data were collected using vocabulary mastery tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon non-parametric test. The findings indicate that the use of AR-based learning media significantly improves children's vocabulary mastery. The children demonstrated higher engagement during the learning process, which positively influenced their understanding of the vocabulary presented. AR media provided an enjoyable and interactive learning experience, increasing children's motivation and interest in learning. The study concludes that AR-based learning media is effective in improving vocabulary mastery in early childhood and holds important implications for the development of innovative, technology-based instructional tools to support early language learning.

Abstract

Student disengagement and low intrinsic motivation remain persistent issues in educational contexts, often due to rigid curriculum structures that overlook learners' psychological needs. This study aims to analyze the operational curriculum needs of primary school teachers in fostering student autonomy, motivation, and engagement, using Self-Determination Theory (SDT) as the theoretical foundation. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved 12 private primary school teachers in Makassar, Indonesia. Data were collected through semi-structured, in-depth interviews and analyzed thematically to explore strategies and perceptions related to SDT-based curriculum implementation. The results revealed three key themes: recognizing individual student characteristics, offering meaningful choices in learning activities to support autonomy, and maintaining strong communication with parents to create a collaborative and emotionally supportive learning environment. These strategies were reported to significantly enhance student participation, classroom inclusivity, and a sense of belonging. The study concludes that integrating SDT principles into operational curriculum planning not only increases student engagement but also contributes to the development of a more holistic and humanistic learning atmosphere. This research contributes to the field of motivation-oriented curriculum design and offers practical implications for educators and school leaders in developing student-centered instructional practices. Further studies using quantitative or mixed methods are recommended to validate and expand these findings across broader educational contexts and grade levels.
