Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran PAPI PERGI (Papan Pintar Perubahan Energi) pembelajaran IPAS materi mengubah bentuk energi di kelas IV SD Negeri 34 Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian R&D (Research and Development), menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji coba one to one berjumlah 3 peserta didik, small group berjumlah 7 peserta didik dan field test berjumlah 18 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kevalidan, analisis kepraktisan, dan analisis keefektifan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi angket dari ketiga validator, yaitu 2 dosen dan 1 guru angka presentase mencapai 85,33% kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil praktis angket respon siswa pada uji coba one to one terhadap 3 peserta didik sebesar 96% kriteria sangat praktis, uji coba small group terhadap 7 peserta didik sebesar 91.71% kriteria sangat praktis. Uji coba field test terhadap 18 peserta didik sebesar 93.78% kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil keefektifan hasil tes peserta didik pada uji coba one to one terhadap 3 peserta didik mencapai sebesar 85% dengan kriteria efektif, sedangkan pada pada uji coba small group terhadap 7 peserta didik sebesar 82.14% dengan kriteria efektif. Sedangkan pada uji coba field test terhadap 18 peserta didik sebesar 85% dengan kriteria efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi masyarakat RW 3 Kelurahan Sungaiselayur Kota Palembang dalam pengelolaan sampah melalui program Bank Sampah Nurul Huda Margoyoso. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan informan kunci yaitu ketua RW 3 dan ketua bank sampah, serta informan pendukung yaitu 2 orang nasabah bank sampah dan 1 orang tokoh masyarakat RW 3 lainnya. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, masyarakat RW3 Sungaiselayur diberikan kesempatan untuk memberikan keputusan dalam pengadaan program bank sampah dengan cara memberikan ide-ide, saran atau masukan. Sampah yang dikelola berupa sampah organik menjadi pupuk kompos sedangkan sampah anorganik hanya ditabung dan dijual kembali belum adanya pendaur ulangan menjadi kerajinan tangan, adanya program bank sampah membantu pendapatan masyarakat, berkurangnya pembuangan sampah secara ilegal, lingkungan menjadi bersih dan nyaman, mempererat silaturahmi masyarakat. Akan tetapi, partisipasi masyarakat dinilai kurang karena  belum optimalnya peran stake holder dalam memberikan motivasi, sosialisasi, rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat, belum diadakan pelatihan pendaur ulangan sampah anorganik, dan minimnya lapak bank sampah.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce valid, practical, and effective lift the flap book media for grade V elementary school students. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This development research produced lift the flap book media which is a printed learning medium. Data analysis techniques are carried out by validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The results of the analysis of data on the development of the elevator the flap book media of flora and fauna diversity material in Indonesia developed by the researcher were categorized as valid from the validation questionnaire sheet of experts with an average score of 88.7% with the criterion of "Very Valid". The media lift the flap book material on flora and fauna diversity in Indonesia developed by the researcher was categorized as practical from the student questionnaire sheet in the one-to-one trial with an average score of 93.9%, while the response of students in the small group trial with an average score of 95%, and the response of students in the large group trial with an average score of 93% with the criterion of "Very Practical". The media lift the flap book of flora and fauna diversity material developed by the researcher was categorized as effective with a pre-test score of 78.3% and a post-test score of 97.3% with the criterion of "Very Effective". Based on the results of validation and trials, it was concluded that the lift the flap book media of flora and fauna diversity material is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Ranau Tengah dalam mengenali, mengeksplorasi, dan mempromosikan potensi geowisata lokal di kawasan Danau Ranau, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Selatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang memadukan eksplorasi lapangan. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep geowisata, penumbuhan kesadaran ekologis, serta peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam pelestarian dan promosi potensi daerah. Peserta kegiatan yang terlibat berjumlah 50 siswa dari SMA Negeri 1 Banding Agung Ranau Tengah dan didampingi oleh guru geografi sebagai mitra kegiatan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui angket post-test untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kepedulian, motivasi, dan partisipasi siswa setelah kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aspek yang diukur berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dengan persentase antara 84% sampai 98%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan siswa melalui eksplorasi dan promosi geowisata lokal mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, kepedulian lingkungan, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam mengenalkan potensi geowisata daerah secara edukatif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in fostering student creativity through the use of used cooking oil to make aromatherapy candles in Class VB at SD Negeri 63 Palembang. The background of this study is based on the still low level of students’ creativity, both in cognitive and non-cognitive aspects, such as difficulty in expressing ideas, lack of self-confidence, and limitations in collaboration. Additionally, learning that remains largely conventional and the lack of teachers’ experience in implementing project-based learning also pose challenges. This study employed a qualitative approach, focusing on the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of P5 activities centered on the theme of sustainable living through the utilization of household waste—specifically used cooking oil—processed into aromatherapy candles. The learning process actively engaged students from the observation stage, through material processing, to the creation of the final product, thereby providing a contextual and meaningful learning experience. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of P5 through the aromatherapy candle-making activity is capable of enhancing students’ creativity, as evidenced by their ability to generate ideas, innovate, and collaborate and solve problems; furthermore, this activity fosters an attitude of environmental stewardship and an awareness of the importance of a sustainable lifestyle. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of P5 through real-world projects serves as an effective learning alternative for developing students’ creativity and character in a holistic manner.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital learning media snakes and ladders on folklore material for fourth-grade elementary school students and to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 176 Palembang. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation was carried out by three validators consisting of material experts, media experts, and language experts. The validation results showed that the digital learning media snakes and ladders obtained an average score of 96.66% with the category of "very valid". Furthermore, the results of the practicality test at the one-to-one and small group stages received a positive response from students with the category of "practical". The digital learning media snakes and ladders developed has an interactive, attractive, and easy-to-use display and helps students understand the elements of folklore, such as characters, settings, plots, and moral messages. The effectiveness test results showed that 30 students achieved scores above the Minimum Competency (KKM), with an average score of 83%. Therefore, the snakes and ladders digital learning media was declared valid, practical, and effective for use in Indonesian language learning, especially in the context of folklore in fourth-grade elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of local wisdom-based Canva learning media on students’ engagement in IPAS learning for fifth grade students at SDN 136 Palembang. This research used an experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample consisted of 52 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed using the t-test with SPSS version 26. The results showed that local wisdom-based Canva learning media had a significant effect on students’ learning engagement, indicated by a significance value lower than 0.05 (Sig. < 0.05). Students in the experimental class were more active, enthusiastic, and focused during the learning process. Therefore, local wisdom-based Canva learning media is effective in improving students’ engagement in IPAS learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of science learning which is still dominated by the use of lecture methods so that students are not optimally involved in the learning process. This situation causes students to tend to be passive and their critical thinking skills have not developed well. Therefore, a learning approach is needed that can encourage students to actively discover knowledge independently, one of which is through the inquiry approach. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and response and involvement of students in science learning on cultural heritage material using the inquiry approach in class V of SD Negeri 109 Palembang. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of the homeroom teacher V.E and six students selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was obtained through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that science learning with the inquiry approach has been implemented well through the stages of problem orientation, problem formulation, data collection, and conclusion drawing. Throughout the learning process, students were actively engaged in discussions, asking questions, seeking information, and presenting their learning outcomes. Thus, the application of the inquiry approach was able to increase students' activeness, engagement, and critical thinking skills in science learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach assisted by audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 136, Palembang City. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade IV students in science. These low learning outcomes are evident in the large number of students who still achieve scores below the minimum passing grade, preventing the learning objectives from being achieved. The method used is True Experimental design with a Posttest-Only Control Design. The sampling technique used random sampling with a sample of 55 students, divided into two classes: the experimental class IV.A, with 29 students and the control class IV.D, with 26 students. The research instrument consisted of multiple-choice questions to measure student learning outcomes. Based on the posttest results, the experimental class achieved a higher average score of 86.9, while the control class achieved an average of 73.8. The normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the Independent Sample t-Test showed a significant value (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, so H₀ was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental class and the control class students. This shows that there is an influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach assisted by audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of IV elementary school students.
