Abstract

Background: The use of e-health is now widely used as a new intervention e-health can be applications in smart phones, smart watches, or wearables, as well as telemedicine, interactive video and web-based interventions. Purpose: Submitting the results of exploration related to the impact of e-health use in increasing physical activity and changes in BMI in adults with obesity. Method: Literature reviews on several databases such as clinical key nursing, sage journal, and Pubmed using PRISMA methods. Results: This systematic review study proves that eHealth has an influence on physical activity and BMI in adults with obesity. From the 7 articles that used e-health as an intervention in changing physical activity and BMI showed significant results against changes in physical activity, BMI despite using different types of eHealth, such as virtual reality, smartphone applications/wearable devices and telehealth. Conclusion: The use of e-health can be recommended as part of a body weight management strategy as it has a good impact over time and needs to be integrated with nursing interventions so that nurses can monitor patient progress and adjust recommendations based on the data collected.

Abstract

Attention to non-communicable diseases is increasing because of the increasing frequency of events in the community and requires long-term handling and high costs which are a heavy burden for many people and the Government. Bout Artrithis is the second most non-communicable disease in the elderly based on the 2013 National Health Research. contagious. Lifestyle modification such as low purine diet can reduce uric acid levels and forms of preventive activities, therefore health care prioritizes promotive and preventive health support services and family support so as to increase the knowledge of the elderly and their families in carrying out dietary compliance. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of factors related to adherence to the diet of Gout Atrithis in the elderly at the Citizen Health Center in Benteng Palopo. The design of this study was an observational descriptive study using a cross-sectional approach. The results show that the most dominant variable and closely related to diet adherence is knowledge with the relationship of knowledge level with diet adherence showing strength, namely CoBfficients (Exp (B) 5,399). Suggestions are expected to be able to improve health education programs (advertisements in the form of posters, banners and brochures) regarding the importance of diet and understanding about diet for acidic sufferers (Exp (B) 5,399). veins and their families.There needs to be coordination with the health department related to health promotion.Bini health education is carried out in an effort to improve the knowledge of sufferers and families about urinary acidity and matters relating to the management of asamburat illness so that sufferers of uric acid are more adherent to diets that have been recommended by nurses. Keywords: Family Support, Role of Nurses, Knowledge, Diet Compliance, Gout Artrithis.

Abstract

Elderly is a population of risk that has limitations caused by the deterioration of various systems. Elderly accompanied by chronic DM disease and lack of support system results in elderly with DM entering the vulnerable group. Therefore, the elderly with DM need help to support their quality and satisfaction of life. The support is very much needed especially from the family, because the family is an element that is very closely related to the elderly. For this reason, it is expected that the family can support in the form of attention, can receive, give love so that the elderly are able to do self-care. Objective: this study aims to determine the relationship of family support for self-care in the elderly with type 2 diabetes. Method: quantitative research with descriptive observational research design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all elderly with DM type 2 in the work area of PuskesmasWara Selatan of Palopo City as many as 153 people. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with a sample of 121 people. Data collection uses questionnaire respondent characteristics, family support, and self-care. Results: From the analysis it was found that the variable most related to self-care was emotional support with the value Exp (B) = 10.875. Conclusion: It is hoped that health workers in the health center of South Wara will further promote health promotion regarding the importance of family support to improve self-care and health status of the elderly with DM. Keywords: DM type 2, Family Support, Self-Care
